Abstract

Mobile and immovable educational facilities and infrastructure are very important for the teaching and learning process and enable the completion of educational goals in an orderly, efficient, effective and timely manner. The learning process is an activity in which there is interaction between educators and students as well as reciprocal communication that takes place to achieve learning objectives. Factors that can influence the learning process to be effective and efficient, such as teacher, student, facilities and infrastructure as well as environmental factors. The method used in this research is descriptive analysis method. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of student satisfaction with facilities and infrastructure in one of the study programs at Fatmawati Sukarno Bengkulu State Islamic University in supporting the learning process. From the results of student satisfaction with the facilities and infrastructure to support the learning process, namely for classrooms, chairs, tables and blackboards, they stated that they were 100% satisfied. Laboratories 86% satisfied and 14% unsatisfied, for prayer rooms 70% satisfied and 30% unsatisfied. Trash box 44% satisfied and 56% dissatisfied, toilet 98% satisfied and 2% dissatisfied, projector 34% satisfied and 66% dissatisfied, fan 88% satisfied and 12% unsatisfied.

Abstract

This research was motivated by several obstacles, including teachers in the learning process only focusing on thick textbooks and the student worksheets provided by the school were less interesting and effective. The aim of this research is to develop chart learning media based on Science Technology Engineering Mathematics (STEM) to improve critical thinking skills. This development research was carried out at Junior High School 7 of Bengkulu, Bengkulu Province - Indonesia using the Thiagarajan 4-D model which consists of four stages. The instruments used were media suitability validation questionnaires, teacher responses, student responses, and students’ critical thinking ability tests on STEM-based graphic media. Data from questionnaire analysis by calculating the percentage of achievement for each component is 86.6% (material expert), 100% (linguist), 98.75% (media/design expert), and 88.3% (test question expert) with the category suitable for use. The practicality of graphic learning media based on student response data and science teacher responses conducted in limited trials shows that STEM-based graphic learning media on Plant Structure and Function material includes very practical criteria for use without revision with percentages of 92, 80%, and 94%. The effectiveness of media has an important role and helps students develop their potential in the learning process. The conclusion of this research is that the media developed has been practically and effectively used as a learning medium in supporting the teaching and learning process on the structure and function of plants in improving the critical thinking skills of class VIII junior high school students.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the lack of use of a variety of learning models, teachers only rely on books, so the learning process mostly takes place only using the lecture method, so students are not actively involved in learning. Science learning does not display the typical characteristics of the integration of science and the Koran as conveyed in the 2013 curriculum, there is still no formal implementation of this in the learning process. This research aims to determine whether there is an influence of the integrated inquiry learning model (science and the Koran) on students' cognitive learning outcomes in Integrated Science learning on the subject of the Solar System. The type of research is quantitative research with a quasi-experimental approach method. The research design used was a control group pretest and posttest design. The population in the research were all students of class VII SMPN 12 Bengkulu City and sample in this study was 60 students consisting of 30 control class students (class VII C) and 30 experimental class students (class VII D). Data collection techniques in this research used observation, interviews, test questions and documentation. The instrument used in the research was a multiple choice test with a total of 40 questions. The results of the research show that there are differences in the cognitive learning outcomes of experimental class students with those in the control class with a posttest score of 82.08 75.08 and with a significance level (2 tailed) 0.05 with a value of 0.01.

Abstract

Bomboloni are Italian donuts that are round in shape without a hole in the middle. Bomboloni is made from the basic ingredients of flour and egg dough, then it is made by frying with various jam fillings. Especially the bomboloni in this study where moringa leaf extract was added in the preparation of the bomboloni dough from the previous one. Moringa thrives in Indonesia because the climate and soil are very supportive for the growth of Moringa. Moringa contains various phytochemical compounds, including tannins, flavonoids, saponins, and alkaloids, all of which are antioxidants. Moringa leaves also contain high antioxidants, some of the main phenolic bioactive compounds are the flavonoid group. To determine the effect of adding moringa leaves to bomboloni processed products by means of organoleptic methods. The research method used was a quantitative approach, experiments and organoleptic tests using a simple randomized design with four experimental units and five different treatments. The criteria tested were aroma, taste, texture and color. Based on the research results obtained from four experimental units and five different treatments that the best color is 15% so the best overall is the addition of 15% moringa extract.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan aktivitas belajar mahasiswa melalui pengembangan media pembelajaran IPA berbasis multimedia interaktif di Universitas Islam Negeri Fatmawati Sukarno Bengkulu. Penelitian ini telah dilaksanakan pada bulan April–September 2020. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan model 4-D (four-D). Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah angket validasi media, angket kepraktisan media dan lembar observasi. Hasil analisis data terhadap aktivitas belajar mahasiswa pada uji coba kelompok kecil menunjukkan rerata skor sebesar 81,55% dalam katagori aktif, sedangkan pada saat uji coba kelompok besar rerata skor aktivitas mahasiswa sebesar 80,75% dalam katagori aktif. Dari data tersebut menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata nilai aktivitas belajar mahasiswa pada saat uji coba kelas kecil maupun uji coba kelas besar beraada dalam kategori aktif sehingga media pembelajaran ini sangat efektif digunakan sebagai bahan pembelajaran untuk meningkatkan aktivitas belajar mahasiswa.

Abstract

Religious education and character education are two related concepts. In its application, Al-Quran teaching plays a very important role in shaping children's character through guidance, continuous education and advice to instill religious, independent and communicative qualities in them from an early age. The aim of this research is to develop the implementation of religious character in higher education religious activities. The research methodology used is qualitative. With religious education that teaches the art of reading the Koran and its translations, the role of Taman Al-Coran (TPQ) is very important in forming the character of babies from an early age. Apart from that, there are other religious practices, such as memorizing short poetry and daily prayers, which can indirectly provide Islamic life lessons. However, a child's character must also be shaped and guided by his family so that he grows into a good person. The application of religious character in religious activities takes the form of participation in what are called "testimony and prayer activities" (Dhuha), direct direction of tahfidz, tilawati, and Friday blessing activities carried out in the context of santri activities. develop religious character. There is a positive correlation, meaning that there is a positive influence of religious activities on students' religious character. Religious activities are a useful means of developing and practicing religious character. Character development through positive habits will give birth to the habit of appreciating lessons, values, thoughts, ideology, or even doctrine, so that it becomes a belief and fosters a sense of self-awareness of reality or normative values ​​that appear in actions and attitudes. With the aim of being applicable to all schools in Indonesia, this research has implications for the growth of religious character in education.

Abstract

Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan partisipasi aktif anak-anak terhadap penguatan karakter religius dalam kegiatan keagamaan di lingkungan masjid al-hikmah desa Talang Sebaris. Terbentuknya karakter anak sangat dipengaruhi oleh nilai religius. Pengabdian ini penting untuk dilakukan karena masih banyak ditemukan anak yang kurang berpartisipasi aktif mengikuti kegiatan keagamaan yang ada dimasjid. Hal tersebut dapat terjadi karena berbagai faktor, seperti rendahnya minat, pengaruh lingkungan, atau kurangnya motivasi dari orang tua dan lingkungan sekitar. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut dibutuhkan perencanaan program kegiatan yang menarik, fasilitas yang memadai, serta masyarakat dan orang tua yang mendukung kegiatan keagamaan anak. Pengabdian ini mencakup pengajaran BTQ, pelajaran agama, lomba keagamaan, dan memakmurkan masjid melalui sholat lima waktu berjamaah. Hasil dari pengabdian ini adalah adanya peningkatan partisipasi aktif anak dalam mengikuti kegiatan keagamaan yang berdampak pada kuatnya karakter religius anak.

Abstract

Kemampuan anak dalam membaca dan menulis Al-Qur'an yang tidak sesuai dengan kaidah tajwid yang benar berdampak pada menurunnya nilai karakter religius mereka karena kebiasaan membaca dan menulis Al-Qur'an secara sembarangan. Menanamkan karakter religius pada anak merupakan bagian penting dari pendidikan, terutama bagi anggota masyarakat yang memiliki nilai-nilai keagamaan yang tinggi. Mahasiswa melakukan hal-hal dengan membuat Program Kerja Membaca dan Menulis Al-Qur'an (BTQ) sebagai sarana dalam mengembangkan karakter religius anak secara maksimal. Tujuan mahasiswa melakukan pengabdian adalah untuk melatih dan membiasakan anak-anak membaca Al-Qur’an dan menulisnya sesuai kaidah yang benar, sehingga dapat membentuk karakter religius yang baik pada diri setiap anak. Pelaksanaan pengabdian ini dilakukan dengan pembelajaran tatap muka menggunakan metode ummi. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah program BTQ memeberikan dampak posistif pada karakter religius anak. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan kebiasaan anak-anak membaca Al-Qur’an sesuai dengan kaidah-kaidah yang benar.

Abstract

Pendidikan merupakan suatu proses yang mencakup tiga dimensi, individu, masyarakat atau komunitas nasional dari individu tersebut, dan seluruh kandungan realitas, baik material maupun spiritual yang memainkan peranan dalam menentukan sifat, nasib, bentuk manusia maupun masyarakat. UINFAS Bengkulu merupakan perguruan tinggi islam yang memiliki mahasiswa dari latar belakang yang bermacam-macam. Karakter yang Dimiliki mahasiswa nya pun beragam. Kepribadian merupakan ciri atau karakteristik atau sifat khas dari diri seseorang yang bersumber dari bentukan-bentukan yang diterima dari lingkungan, misalnya keluarga pada masa kecil, dan juga bawaan sejak lahir. faktor terbentuknya karakter mahasiswa ialah keluarga, masyarakat, teman sepergaulan, serta lingkungan disekitar, peningkatan karakter mahasiwa ipa UINFAS Bengkulu dapat dilakukan melalui organisasi UKM-KI, UKM-KI atau Unit Kegiatan Mahasiwa Korelasi Islam adalah sebuah Lembaga organisasi didalam lingkup lingkungan kampus yang bergerak dalam bidang kerohanian islam. Dengan adanya organisasi ini diharapkan dapat menerapkan nilai-nilai karakter Qur’ani dalam kehidupannya maupun lingkungan masyarakat. dengan adanya kegiatan yang ada di kampus dapat memberikan pengaruh terhadap mahasiswa dengan lingkungan sosialnya. tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk menerapkan kegiatan UKM-KI guna membentuk karakter mahasiswa IPA di UINFAS Bengkulu. Dalam penelitian ini, peneliti menggunakan metode kualitatif dan untuk mengumpulkan data, peneliti melakukan jenis penelitian library research yaitu mengumpulkan karya tulis ilmiah yang berhubungan dengan masalah yang dibahas. Adapun hasil penelitian mengenai implementasi karakter mahasiswa pada kegiatan UKM-KI. Dengan adanya penerapan yang dilakukan oleh UKM-KI UINFAS Bengkulu yang melakukan kegiatan-kegiatan yang positif dan bermanfaat bagi mahasiswa dapat membentuk karakter mahasiswa menjadi lebih baik.
