Abstract

This study analyzes the implementation of the Sistem Penjaminan Mutu Internal (SPMI) as a strategy for continuous quality improvement at Tambakboyo Vocational High School. Using a qualitative case study approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews with key stakeholders, participatory observation, and document analysis. Interviews involved school principals, teachers, administrative staff, students, and industry partners to gain insights into SPMI implementation. Observations were conducted through direct engagement in school activities, quality assurance meetings, and industry collaboration programs, while document analysis reviewed policies, reports, curriculum guidelines, and employment data. Data were analyzed using a qualitative descriptive approach through data reduction, display, and conclusion drawing, with triangulation ensuring validity. The findings highlight how stakeholders collaborate to align educational quality policies with industry demands through the PPEPP model (Penetapan, Pelaksanaan, Evaluasi, Pengendalian, Peningkatan Standard). Implementing SPMI positively impacts academic and non-academic quality, enhances graduate employability, and strengthens school-industry partnerships. A well-structured organization and consistent quality policies facilitate optimal outcomes, with industry collaboration ensuring curriculum relevance and skill alignment with labor market needs. This strategy enhances graduate competitiveness and serves as a model for addressing global educational and workforce challenges

Abstract

The application of green building principles is increasingly important in efforts to create a sustainable and environmentally friendly built environment. Schools are public facilities that have a strategic role in supporting sustainable development. Greenship Existing Building version 1.1 developed by the Green Building Council Indonesia provides a standard assessment for existing buildings in order to endanger their operational continuity. This study aims to assess the application of green building principles, especially in the aspect of Appropriate Site Development (ASD) based on the Greenship Existing Building version 1.1 standard. The approach used is qualitative and evaluative, with data collected through interviews, documentation, and observation. The results of the study indicate that State Vocational High School 4 Sukoharjo has implemented 11 of the 16 assessments (Appropriate Site Development/ASD) with the category of "quite good." The main aspects implemented include: (1) community accessibility (score: 1/3) with more than five public facilities; (2) reduction of motorized vehicles (1/2) through parking rates; (3) site landscape (2/3) with local and productive plants; (4) heat island effect (2/2) with albedo values of 0.35 (roof) and 0.32 (non-roof); (5) rainwater management (2/2) with runoff reduction of up to 76.5%; (6) site management (1/2) with pest control (Standard Operating Procedure/SOP); and (7) building environment (2/2) with private green open spaces and community initiatives.

Abstract

This research aims to (1) determine the condition of the existing foundation of Ngadi Bridge, (2) design an effective and efficient bored pile for Ngadi Bridge, (3) analyze the ration of the concrete’s volume required for the existing foundation to the redesigned foundation (bored pile) of Ngadi Bridge. This research is the level 1 of Sugiyono’s Research and Development with a mixed method approach. There are two findings established in this research. First, the implementation of existing foundation on Ngadi Bridge caused vibration and noise, and too many foundations in each abutment and pillar caused the need of concrete volume to be increased until 216,14 m3. Second, the bored pile design on Ngadi Bridge for Abutment 1 uses 12 bored piles with diameter of 0,6 m and depth of 15 m. The resulting group carrying capacity is 24501,99 kN. For Abutment 2 uses 6 bored piles with diameter of 0,6 m, depth of 10 m, and the resulting group carrying capacity is 9068,82 kN. While Pillar uses 35 bored piles with diameter of 0,6 m, depth of 4 m, and the resulting group carrying capacity is 22430,43 kN. Third, the total concrete volume of bored pile needs 107,4425 m3. So that the percentage of saving the required volume of concrete is 50,29%.

Abstract

There are approximately 20% of the teachers of SMKN I Jenar who have non-educational backgrounds (Pure Science), and more than 30% of young teachers have not received PPG training. One of the impacts of weak basic pedagogic competencies will affect the success of education so that it is necessary to deepen Classroom Action Research (CAR). This service aims to provide a deepening of teacher knowledge about Classroom Action Research (CAR) to improve their learning. The implementation method is carried out by deepening the Classroom Action Research (CAR), and guiding the making of Classroom Action Research (CAR) proposals. The implementation of the service is carried out by several PTB study lecturers, in the context of UNS Anniversary with the UNS Teaching program Indonesia. Expected targets: The Teachers can design 70% CAR in the material they teach.

Abstract

This study explores the role of teaching material products and job sheets in the implementation of project-based learning at SMK Mikael Surakarta. This type of research is qualitative research with a case study method. Data collection techniques through observation, documentation, and interviews. The research design uses an ethnographic design. Informants as resource persons were vice principals in the field of curriculum, heads of machining engineering competency skills, heads of production units, and teachers of machining engineering practice. The data that has been collected is then analyzed through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. Validity testing uses source triangulation and technique triangulation. This research shows that schools can fulfill the procurement of equipment and materials in stages. Based on the findings, learning tools provide support for project-based learning in the form of (1) preparing job sheet documents as a learning tool for students during practice. The job sheet is in the form of material stages to achieve student competency targets. (2) ensure that the results of objects that students work on through the competency stages can be used as products with use value.

Abstract

In contrast to previous research, the professional competency test of building engineering expert schemes offer blended integration assessment through the application of media mockup and ICT devices that are appropriate to the industry so that the assessment plays an active role in solving the problems to achieve the Outcome-Based Education (OBE) characteristics. The research purpose is to implement integration tests in the cognitive domain, and skills domain of the student end semester university to reach competence according to the Indonesian Standard of Professional Certification (BNSP). The research uses a mixed method, consisting of descriptive quantitative to analyze the data collection before and after the implementation model integration test, and qualitative to have deeper findings of research. The result of the competency test for understanding the planning guidelines in reinforced concrete structures (SNI) after using the mockup media showed that the participants were 16 assesses, were 8 students in the competent category, 7 students were included in the good competent category, and 1 student was included in the excellent competent. This research concluded that All of the assessees passed the competence level on their national professional certification competence (BNSP).
