Abstract

This research aimed to understand and describe the effectiveness of poverty alleviation efforts by the Social Affairs Agency in Gorontalo City. The approach used was qualitative, specifically descriptive research. Data collection methods included interviews, observations, and documentation. Primary data was obtained through interviews with key informants such as the Head of the Program Subdivision from the Social Affairs and Community Empowerment Agency of Gorontalo City, members of the Social Empowerment, Institutional, and Poverty Alleviation Division from the same agency, and 9 beneficiary families (KPM) of the poverty alleviation program. The research findings indicate that poverty alleviation efforts by the Social Affairs Agency in Gorontalo City, measured through four indicators: program targets, program socialization, program achievement, and program monitoring. have been effective. The results show that the efforts to alleviate poverty by the Social Affairs Agency in Gorontalo City have increased the community’s welfare and have been optimally sustained. Considering the achievement of the four effectiveness indicators, namely program targets, program socialization, program achievement, and program monitoring, the poverty alleviation programs have reduced the financial burden of the beneficiary families and assisted them in meeting their daily basic needs.

Abstract

This research aims to describe (1) the effectiveness of training activities at the Small and Medium Enterprises Job Training Workshop (LLK-UKM) in Gorontalo City and (2) Determining Factors for the Effectiveness of Training Activities at the Gorontalo City Small and Medium Enterprises Job Training Workshop (LLK-UKM). . The research method used in this research is a research method with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques were carried out using interviews, observation and documentation. The research results show that first, the effectiveness of the training program at the Gorontalo City Small and Medium Enterprises Job Training Workshop (LLK-UKM) can be seen from 1) Understanding the program. 2) Right on target, 3) On time, 4) Achievement of goals 5) Real change. Of these 5 aspects, there is one aspect that is not yet effective, namely understanding the program. The process of disseminating information has not been effective, resulting in some people not knowing about the training program organized by LLK-UKM Gorontalo City. Second, the effectiveness of the training program at the Gorontalo City Small and Medium Enterprises Job Training Workshop (LLK-UKM) can be seen from two aspects, namely: (1) Human resources and (2) Infrastructure. The research results show that these two factors are not effective. The lack of instructors available at LLK UKM Gorontalo City is hampering training activities. Likewise, the second factor is inadequate infrastructure. Apart from the very limited amount of equipment available, most of it is still manual equipment.

Abstract

This study aimed to discover the characteristics of (1) Character. (2) Motive. (3) Attitude. (4) Knowledge and (5) Skills of officers in public services at the Department of Population and Civil Registration of Gorontalo City. This study was conducted using descriptive qualitative. The data were collected using observation, interviews and documentation. Furthermore, the data was analyzed using data collection, reduction, display, and drawing conclusions or verification. He study results showed that the character characteristics, motives, attitudes, knowledge and skills of officials in public services at the Department of Population and Civil Registration of Gorontalo City were quite good. However, the knowledge and skills still need continuous improvement to provide better services to the community. The characteristics of apparatus knowledge still need to be improved further, either through training, outreach, or other efforts. Increasing apparatus knowledge can provide benefits such as better service, process efficiency, and increased community satisfaction. The characteristics of the technical skills of the apparatus were not evenly distributed. It showed differences in the level of mastery of technical skills between officers. Younge’r people familiar with technology can easily operate the system and manage files digitally.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kebijakan pemerintah dalam penanganan parkir di Kota Gorontalo, yang ditinjau berdasarkan aspek organisasi pelaksana, interpretasi dan aplikasi kebijakan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif, dengan teknik pengumpulan data, observasi, wawnacara dan dokumentasi. Berdasarkan hasil peneltiian menunjukkan bahwa kebijakan penanganan parkir di Kota Gorontalo belum optimal, hal ini dapat ditinjau pada dimensi organisasi yang belum optimal karena dalam penyelenggaraan aprkir belum ditunjang oleh  sarana yang memadai; dari dimensi interpretasi belum berjalan optimal  karena belum memiliki Pentujuk Teknis Penyelenggaraan Parkir di Tepi Jalan Umum; serta dari dimensi aplikasi belum optimal karena masih sering ditemukannya ketidaksesuain pemungutan tarif berdasarkan peraturan daerah

Abstract

This research aims to analyze and describe the capacity development of village officials towards a digital village in Doulan Village, Bokat District, Buol Regency as seen from: Joint Committee, Education, Knowledge, Leadership and Skills. This research method uses a descriptive approach with qualitative data analysis. The data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, documentation. The data analysis technique goes through the following stages: Data Reduction, Data Presentation and Data Verification. Based on the results of research analyzed in the field, the capacity development of village officials towards a digital village in Doulan Village, Bokat District, Buol Regency is seen from: Joint Committee, Education, Knowledge, Leadership and Skills. It has been implemented well, but there are still several things that need to be addressed and improved, namely the lack of knowledge regarding village digital. The need for technical guidance which is often provided by the local government. As well as increasing network capacity or signals used when inputting data.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the organizational culture at the Representative Office of the Audit Board of the Republic of Indonesia in Gorontalo Province. This research uses a qualitative research approach. The data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis techniques involve data reduction, data presentation, and conchading. The results of the research indicate that the organizational culture at the Representative Office of the Audit Board of the Republic of Indonesia in Gorontalo Province is analyzed hased on the research focus and sub-focus, which involves seven principles of organizational culture, such as innovation, the team orientation, the result orientation, and the member orientation. Morcover, the principle of aggressiveness has been well-implemented, Furthermore, the principle of innovation is demonstrated by the existence of web pages for cach sub-division that the employees can access. The principle of meticulousness is shown in the public relations division, where employees must carefully draft letters, particularly in the letters' numbering system. Additionally, the principle of team orientation is observed, where employees are divided into groups tasked with conducting audits in the Gorontalo Province. These groups focus on both result orientation and member orientation. Result orientation includes work plans that most be achieved within five years, while member orientation includes the requirement for employees to participate in training to develop their capacities. The principle of aggressiveness is reflected in how all employees are expected to meet deadlines to achieve the set targets. However, the principle of courage is not yet fully optimized because some employees hesitate to try new things and are reluctant or fearful to express their opinions.

Abstract

This study aims to identify and describe (1) Regional Asset Management in the Regional Finance and Asset Agency (BKAD) of Gorontalo Regency. (2) The determining factor in Regional Asset Management in the Regional Finance Agency and Regional Assets of Gorontalo Regency. The approach used is qualitative with descriptive research type. The results of this study indicate that (1) Regional Asset Management at the Gorontalo Regency Regional Financial and Asset Management Agency (BKAD) has been running well in accordance with applicable regulations, from the beginning of the planning process, usage to the monitoring stage. It's just that for supervision carried out by inventorying assets, mistakes often occur so that they can affect the value of assets in agencies. (2) The determining factor in Regional Asset Management in the Gorontalo Regency Regional Finance and Asset Management in this case is human resources (HR), regulations and leadership commitment have been implemented properly. It's just that to improve the quality of human resources (HR) in terms of knowledge about asset management is low due to the lack of offline training activities.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the quality of public services for BPJS (Social Security Organizing Agency) participants at the Puskesmas (Public Health Center) of Tilango, as assessed through five dimensions: (a) tangibles, (b) empathy, (c) reliability, (d) responsiveness, and (e) assurance. A qualititative apporoach was employed, specifically a descriptive qualitative reseacrh design, with data collection techniques including observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings og the study indicate tha the quality of public setvice for the BPJS (Social Security Organizing Agency) program at the Puskesmas Tilango, assessed through the five dimensions of : (a) tangibles, (b) empathy, (c) reliability, (d) responsiveness, and (e) assurance, is generally satisfactory and meets the needs of the service users the community. However, some indicators do not fully meet public expectations. For example, in terms of tangibles. There is a lack of seting in the waiting area, leading some patients to sit on the floor and a deficiency in air conditioning.

Abstract

This research aims to determine and analyze (1) the management of the potential of Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDes) in increasing village original income in Bonepantai District, Bone Bolango Regency. (2) factors that determine the success of managing the potential of Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDes) in increasing original village income in Bonepantai District, Bone Bolango Regency. This research uses a qualitative descriptive approach with data collection techniques in the form of interviews, observation and documentation. The main informants consisted of sub-district heads, BPD chairs, BUMDes managers, BUMDes supervisors, MSME actors and local communities. Secondary data was obtained from official documents such as BUMDes operational reports and village administration documents. The research results show that the management of BUMDes potential in Bonepantai District has been carried out through more structured planning, organization that focuses on efficiency, implementation of sustainability-oriented business activities, as well as strict supervision and evaluation. This effort has contributed to improving the village's PADes and the economy of village communities. Factors that determine the success of BUMDes management include optimizing natural resources, budget and village human resources. Active support from local government, a strong social model, and high community participation are the main drivers of BUMDes' success in improving community welfare and the local economy. By strengthening the management system and increasing community participation, BUMDes in Bonepantai District has the potential to become an inspiring model for village-based local economic empowerment.

Abstract

Permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh masyarakat di Desa Taluyudunu Utara Kecamatan Buntulia Kabupaten Pohuwato adalah kurang optimalnya peran pemuda sehingga membutuhkan edukasi melalui kegiatan yang dapat menggerakkan pemudanya untuk lebih produktif, inovatif dan kreatif agar potensinya dapat dikembangkan dan bermanfaat untuk pembangunan desa sebagaimana harapan bangsa. Pemuda sebagai pendorong perubahan yang berpotensi memberikan kontribusnya menghadapi berbagai tantangan pembangunan. Pemudalah yang diharapkan untuk mewujudkan cita-cita bangsa menjadi bangsa yang bermartabat dan memiliki kekuatan dalam mempertahankan negara. Pengembangan sektor agribisnis sebagai salah satu program pemberdayaan pemuda yang penting dilakukan agar memiliki bekal menyonsong era yang semakin kompetitif untuk mempersiapkan pemuda menjadi pelaku wirausaha dalam bidang pertanian dengan memanfaatkan jagung yang melimpah sebagai produk olahan yang potensial menurunkan angka pengangguran. Pengabdian ini bertujuan memberdayakan pemuda melalui program penddidkan kewirausahaan untuk membangun usaha baru berbasis produk olahan jagung. Metode yang digunakan adalah pelaksanaan praktik oleh pemuda dengan menghasilkan produk olahan jagung berupa kerupuk jagung.
