Abstract

This study aimed to (1) describe Employee Performance, Transformational Leadership Style, and Work Ethic; (2) analyze the influence of Transformational Leadership Style and Work Ethic on Employee Performance, both partially and simultaneously. The population in this study consisted of 45 employees of CV Raja Jaya Motor Maumere. Using Slovin's formula, the sample for this research included 30 employees. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using descriptive methods and inferential statistics, specifically multiple linear regression. Hypothesis testing was c onducted using the F-test and t-test. The descriptive analysis results showed that the Employee Performance variable was categorized as good, the Transformational Leadership Style variable was also categorized as good, and the Work Ethic variable was categorized as good. The t-test results indicated that, partially, the Transformational Leadership Style variable had a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance. Additionally, the Teamwork variable also had a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance. The F-test results showed that, simultaneously, the Transformational Leadership Style and Teamwork variables significantly influenced Employee Performance. The determination analysis revealed that the two independent variables in this study were able to explain 37.2% of the variation in Employee Performance at CV Raja Jaya Motor Maumere.

Abstract

The Regional Disaster Management Agency of Sikka Regency is a regional implementing entity in the field of disaster management. It is led by an executive head who is answerable to the Regent of Sikka through the regional secretary. The position is an officio one. The objective of this study is twofold: firstly, to ascertain the description of employee perfomance, workload and teamwork; secondly, to analyse the effect of workload and teamwork on employee performance, both partially and simultaneously. The population under investigation in this study was constituted by the employees of the Sikka Regency Regional Disaster Management Agency, amounting to a total of 35 individuals. Given the limited size of the population, the research was conducted through census or saturated sampling. Data were collected through questionnaires and analysed using descriptive and inferential statistical methods, namely multiple linear regression. Hypothesis testing was conducted through F-test and t-test. The results of the descripyivr analysis indicate that the variables pertaining to employee perfomance, workload and teamwork are all situated within the acceptable range of criteria. The results of the t-test indicate that, to some extent, the workload variable exerts a negative and statistically significant influence on employee performance. Moreover, the teamwork variable has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. The statistical results of the F-test demonstrate that the simultaneous influence of workload and teamwork variables on employee performance is statistically significant. The results of the determination analysis indicate that the two independent variables in thstudy are capable of explaining the observed variation in the performance of the Sikka Regency Regional Disaster Management Agency employees by 23.8%.

Abstract

This study aims to: (1) describe employee performance, transformational leadership style, and team collaboration: (2) analyze the influance of transformational leadership style and team collaboration on employee performance both partially and simultaneously. The population of this study comprised 35 employees from the Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) Office of Sikka Regency. Due to the limited population, acensus or saturated sampling method was employed. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistical methods, specifically multiple linear regression. Hypothesis testing was conducted using F-test and t-test. Descriptive analysis results indicate that the employee performance variable was categorized as good, the transformational leadership style variable as good, and the team collaboration variable as good. The statistical test results show that partially, the transformational leadership style variable had a positive and significant influance on employee performance. Additionally, the team collaboration variable had a positive and significant influence on employee performance. The F-test results indicate that simultaneously, both transformational leadership style and team collaboration variables significantly influence empployee performance. The determination analysis results indicate that both independent variables in this study explain 37,60% of the variability in the fluctuation of employee performance at the Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) Office of Sikka Regency.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh permasalahan kinerja pegawai pada kantor Badan Perencanaan dan Penelitian Kabupaten Sikka dari apsek waktu (Time Line) dan pengawasan (Need For Supervison) belum maksimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) mengetahui gambaran kinerja pegawai, Fasilitas Kerja, dan Karakteristik Pekerjaan; (2) menganalisis pengaruh Fasilitas Kerja dan Karakteristik Pekerjaan terhadap kinerja pegawai baik secara parsial maupun secara simultan. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah Pegawai Kantor Badan Perencanaan dan Litbang Kabupaten Sikka, berjumlah 56 orang. Karena populasinya terbatas, maka penelitian ini dilakukan secara sensus atau sampling jenuh. Data dikumpulkan melalui quisioner dan dianalisis menggunakan metode deskriptif dan statistik inferensial yaitu regresi linier berganda. Pengujian hipotesis dilakukan melalui uji F dan Uji t. Hasil analisis deskriptif menunjukan bahwa variabel kinerja pegawai pegawai, Fasilitas Kerja dan Karakteristik Pekerjaan dikategorikan baik. Hasil statistik uji t menunjukkan bahwa secara parsial variabel Fasilitas Kerja dan Karakteristik Pekerjaan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai. Hasil statistik uji F menunjukkan bahwa secara simultan variabel Fasilitas Kerja dan Karakteristik Pekerjaan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai. Hasil analisis determinasi menujukan kedua variabel bebas dalam penelitian ini mampu menjelaskan terhadap variasi naik turunnya kinerja pegawai Kantor Badan Perencanaan dan Litbang Kabupaten Sikka sebesar 25,2%.

Abstract

The research background was the pre-survey results which showed that the employees performance at Pintu Air Credit Union of Maumere Branch had not been optimal. This study aimed to (1) determine the description of employee performance, workload, and quality work of life and (2) to determine the influence of workload, and quality work of life on employee performance both partially and simultaneously. The population in this study was employees Pintu Air Credit Union of Maumere Branch, totaling 30 people. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using descriptive methods and inferential statistics i.e. multiple linear regression. Hypothesis testing was done through F test and t-test. The descriptive analysis revealed the variables of employee performance, workload, and quality of work life were in the good category. The statistical results of the t-test showed that partially, the Workload variable had a significant negative influence on employee performance while the Quality of Work Life had a significant positive infuence on employee performance. The statistical results of the F test showed that simultaneously, the variables of Workload and Quality of Work Life had a significant influence on employee perfomance. The results of the determination analysis showed that the two independent variables in this study were able to explain the fluctuation of employee performance at the Pintu Air Credit Union of Maumere Branch by 17.567%.

Abstract

This research is grounded on the issue of employee performance seen from quality aspects of employees at the Public Works and Spatial Planning Office of Sikka Regency has not been maximized. This research aimed to: (1) determine the description of employee performance, human resource empowerment, and competence (2) analyze the influence of human resource empowerment and competency on employee performance either partially or simultaneously. The population in this research was 56 employees of the Public Works and Spatial Planning Office of Sikka Regency. Due to limited population, this research was conducted through census or saturated sampling. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using descriptive methods and inferential statistics, namely multiple linear regression. Hypothesis testing was done through the F-test and t-test. The results of descriptive statistical analysis showed that the response perception and employee performance variables, human resources empowerment, and competency were categorized as good. The results of the t-test showed that partially the human resource empowerment variable had a positive and significant influence on employee performance. The results of the F test showed that the variables of human resource empowerment and competency simultaneously significantly affected employee performance. The results of the determination analysis showed that the two independent variables in this research were able to explain the fluctuation of employee performance at the Public Works and Spatial Planning Office of Sikka Regency by 31.2% .

Abstract

The integration of research and innovation in regional development policy is an important aspect of realizing effective, adaptive, and evidence-based planning. However, in practice, the utilization of research results in the policy formulation process at the regional level has not been optimal, causing policies to be frequently formulated based on intuition, experience, or administrative considerations alone. This condition is also found at the Regional Development Planning, Research, and Innovation Agency (BAPPERIDA) of Sikka Regency, which has a strategic role in coordinating regional planning, research, and innovation. This study aimed to analyze the level of integration of research and innovation with regional development policies, identify inhibiting factors, and formulate strategies to enhance integration in a more effective and sustainable manner. The theoretical review of this study refers to the concepts of organizational integration, research as a basis for decision-making, public innovation, and the regional innovation system approach. The method used was a descriptive qualitative approach conducted through internship activities, with data collection techniques including observation, interviews, documentation, and literature review. Data were analyzed descriptively by comparing empirical conditions with the established conceptual framework. The results of the study show that integration has been implemented through the alignment of research with regional planning documents, facilitation of cross-sector collaboration among regional agencies and universities, and the utilization of several research outputs for policy formulation. Nevertheless, obstacles remain, including limitations in human resources, budget, research infrastructure, cross-sector coordination, and the suboptimal innovation culture. Therefore, strengthening regulations, improving institutional capacity, developing an innovation ecosystem, and integrating research data systems are required to ensure that development policies are more targeted and sustainable. Overall, the integration of research and innovation plays an important role in improving the quality of regional development governance in Sikka Regency.

Abstract

This research analyzed the effectiveness of the Regional Planning, research, and Innovatiom Agency in implementing the Holistic Integrative Early Choldhood Education Policy in Sikka Regency. This research used a descriptive qualitative approach through interviews and documentation. The findings indicated that the regional development planning, research, innovation agencys coordination was relatively effective, as reflected in structured communication, clear division of tasks, and the participation of regional government agencies. However, strengthening cross-sectoral coordination was still needed, particularly at the village level.

Abstract

The success of this program is highly influenced by the quality of regional planning coordinated by the Regional Development Planning, Research, and Innovation Agency. This research aimed to identify and analyze the role of the Regional Development Planning, Research, and Innovation Agency in planning the handling of uninhabitable houses, understand the stages of the planning process, and determine the factors that influence its effectiveness. This research used a descriptive qualitative approach through observation, interviews, documentation, and literature study during the internship period in the Infrastructure and Regional Development Division. The results showed that the Regional Development Planning, Research, and Innovation Agency has carried out its functions as a facilitator, verifier, and evaluator by integrating the uninhabitable houses program into the Regional Medium-Term Development Plan, the Regional Government Work Plan, and the Strategic Plans of regional agencies. However, several obstacles were still encountered, including limited budget allocation, delays and inaccuracies in data, inadequate human resource capacity, and suboptimal coordination among stakeholders. Therefore, it was necessary to improve institutional capacity, strengthen information systems, and enhance cross-sectoral synergy so that the planning for handling uninhabitable houses can be implemented more effectively, accurately targeted, and sustainably.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze employee performance and identify factors that need to be considered in efforts to improve employee performance at PT. Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk Maumere Branch Office using the Performance Analysis Quadrant (PAQ) method. Data were collected through interviews and questionnaires. Interviews were used to obtain an overview of employee performance which was analyzed descriptively qualitatively, while questionnaires were used to measure aspects of employee knowledge and work attitudes which were then analyzed using PAQ. The results of the study indicate that in general employee performance is in the good category and has been in accordance with the company's operational standards, however there are still obstacles in the aspects of work quality and timeliness, especially during high workloads. PAQ mapping shows that most competency attributes are in Quadrant A (motivation) and Quadrant D (training), so that improving employee performance needs to be focused on strengthening work motivation, improving work processes and environments, and implementing ongoing training.
