Abstract

Purpose – This paper aims to contribute to the body of knowledge about Islamic Financial Institutions’ (IFIs) intention on financing PPP projects in an Indonesia context, and to offer substantial support to the government to facilitate the implementation of appropriate policies or enact reforms that will encourage increased IFIs financing in PPP projects.Design/methodology/approach – This study developed a theoretical model using the theory of planned behavior (TPB) and subsequently validated it using empirical data gathered from Islamic Financial Institutions in Indonesia. The model was tested using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM).Findings – The findings revealed that “subjective norms” and “perceived control behavior” were the significant latent variables impacting IFIs' intention to finance PPP projects. Moreover, the most crucial observable variables affecting the private sector’s intention were “positive attitudes of experienced IFIs,” and “good relationship with PPP implementing company.”Originality – This study highlights a significant deficiency in the existing body of literature. Although there have been several studies on Public-Private Partnerships (PPP) in existing literature, there is a scarcity of study focused on examining the key elements that influence the Islamic Financial Institutions' willingness to finance PPP projects.

Abstract

This study aimed to investigate the impact of empowerment, competence, and transformational leadership on performance, as well as the effect of these factors on the welfare of vaname shrimp farmers in Muaragembong District, Bekasi Regency. The research used descriptive and verification methods, employing path analysis to analyze the data. The respondents were members of Pokdakan Mina Bakti, with interviews and questionnaires used to measure the influence of each variable. The results indicated that empowerment and leadership had no significant impact on performance, while competence had a positive effect on member performance. Empowerment and competence were found to have a positive impact on the welfare of the members, along with performance. However, leadership had a negative effect on welfare. The study also established a model showing that members played a crucial role in improving welfare, emphasizing the importance of training programs and motivation from the head of the farm. Training activities should focus on the development of techniques and addressing modern farming challenges to enhance shrimp productivity and quality. Finally, the provision of supportive facilities and infrastructure was recommended to further support the members.

Abstract

Indonesia merupakan salah satu negara mayoritas muslim terbesar di dunia, dengan tingginya angka konsumsi barang pada konsumen muslim menjadikan peluang mengembangkan produk halal sangat terbuka lebar demi memenuhi kebutuhan pasar. Penggunaan unsur Syariah dalam pemasaran bertujuan untuk menghindari pelanggaran etika yang berdampak negatif pada citra, persepsi, niat beli produk kosmetik halal. Penggunaan unsur Syariah dalam pemasaran bertujuan untuk menegaskan bahwa etika promosi yang diberikan oleh Islam bersifat universal. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh promosi terhadap keputusan pembelian konsumen pada produk kosmetik halal. Metode yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan teknik analisis regresi linear berganda. Populasi yang digunakan adalah konsumen produk kosmetik halal dengan sampel sebanyak 100 responden. Responden penelitian didominasi oleh wanita dewasa dengan pekerjaan sebagai pegawai swasta yang sudah memiliki persepsi kuat mengenai suatu produk tanpa harus dipengaruhi stimulus periklanan, publisitas, promosi penjualan ataupun pemasaran langsung. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa strategi promosi berpengaruh terhadap keputusan pembelian kosmetik halal secara simultan, tetapi secara parsial hanya penjualan personal yang mempengaruhi keputusan pembelian.

Abstract

The Indonesian government has demonstrated its commitment to facilitating the transition towards zero-carbon fuel in maritime operations, along with the evolution of Indonesian ports into environmentally sustainable hubs. This commitment is exemplified through the initiation of low sulfur marine fuel oil (LS MFO) production, intended for naval armada fuel, within the port supply chain. This endeavor signifies a strategic move towards fostering greener practices within the maritime sector, aligning with global efforts to mitigate carbon emissions and promote sustainable development.

Abstract

DKI Jakarta faces the issue of low productivity in the agricultural sector, contributing only 0.49% to the regional economy and relying on food supplies from other regions up to 98% (BPS, 2021). The Ampar Adhum Farmer Group conducts integrated hydroponic farming activities in Cipinang Besar Utara, Jatinegara District, Jakarta, as an alternative food producer with a productivity rate of 70 kg/day. Since 2018, this farmer group has implemented an empowerment program aimed at improving the welfare of its members. This study aims to analyze the influence of empowerment and transformational leadership on the welfare of the Ampar Adhum Farmer Group members with performance as a mediating variable. The data analysis method used is Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) based on a Likert scale questionnaire distributed to all group members. Out of a total of 110 members, 54 were sampled for the study. The results indicate that empowerment does not significantly affect members' welfare, while transformational leadership has a significant impact. Furthermore, performance does not significantly mediate the effect of empowerment and transformational leadership on members' welfare.

Abstract

Microcredit plays a crucial role in supporting agricultural development, particularly for smallholder farmers. This study aims to analyze the influence of socio-economic characteristics on vegetable farmers' access to formal and informal microcredit in Cikidang Village. Using a quantitative method with a survey approach, data were collected through questionnaires from 100 respondents selected via purposive sampling. Descriptive analysis revealed that the majority of farmers accessing formal microcredit (66%) had higher education levels (6% were university graduates), monthly incomes ranging from IDR 5,000,000 to IDR 10,000,000 (51%), and landholdings exceeding 1 hectare (33%). Conversely, informal microcredit (34%) was predominantly accessed by farmers with lower education levels (59% elementary school graduates), incomes below IDR 5,000,000 (76%), and landholdings under 1 hectare (97%). These findings highlight that socio-economic limitations restrict farmers' access to formal credit, necessitating inclusive policies such as simplified procedures, elimination of collateral requirements, and enhanced financial literacy to improve access to formal microcredit and support sustainable farming practices.

Abstract

This study investigates the role of Halal Destination Attributes (HDA) and Halal Memorable Tourism Experiences (HMTE) in influencing Halal Destination Loyalty (HDL) within Muslim-friendly nature-based tourism in West Java. The research focuses on exploring the interplay between these factors in shaping loyalty among visitors to the top three Muslim-friendly nature destinations in West Java: Kawah Putih in Bandung Regency, Pantai Balongan Indah in Indramayu Regency, and Sari Ater Hot Spring Resort in Subang Regency. The study employed a quantitative research design. Data were collected using a nonprobability purposive sampling method, targeting individuals who had visited one of the selected destinations at least twice, with their most recent visit occurring within the last 12 months. Using G*Power for sample size calculation, the survey garnered 143 valid responses from an initial target of 107 respondents. Data analysis was conducted using Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) with SmartPLS software. The results demonstrate that both Halal Destination Attributes and Halal Memorable Tourism Experiences positively and significantly influence Halal Destination Loyalty. Additionally, Halal Destination Attributes are shown to have a significant positive effect on Halal Memorable Tourism Experiences. These findings underscore the importance of enhancing both destination attributes and memorable experiences to foster loyalty among Muslim-friendly nature-based tourism visitors

Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini ditulis dengan maksud/tujuan untuk mengidentifikasikan dan memberikan rekomendasi kepada UMKM fesyen muslim Gias Wardrobe yang merupakan objek penelitian dalam melakukan perluasan pasar dengan perdagangan internasional atau ekspor memanfaatkan strategi pelokalan yang berfokus pada adaptasi perbedaan budaya agar kegiatan ekspor dapat diterima dengan baik oleh pasar tujuan, yaitu Malaysia. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif yang pengumpulan datanya melalui wawancara, kuesioner, dan studi literatur.Wawancara dilakukan dengan tim UMKM fesyen muslim Gias Wardrobe, Atase Perdagangan Kuala Lumpur Malaysia, serta tenaga ahli FTA Support Center Bandung. Pengolahan data dalam perumusan rekomendasi strategi menggunakan analisis SWOT, IFAS, dan EFAS. Pembahasan dalam penelitian ini menunjukkan kondisi UMKM fesyen muslim Gias Wardrobe yang masih memiliki keterbatasan dalam pengetahuan maupun kemampuan perdagangan internasional serta dalam segi budaya, mencakup perbedaan nilai, tren, gaya hidup, komunikasi hingga perilaku konsumen. Hasil dari penelitian ini memberikan rekomendasi strategi ekspor yang dapat diimplementasikan beserta dengan tahapannya mengikuti kondisi dari UMKM fesyen muslim Gias Wardrobe. Kata Kunci: Strategi Pelokalan, Ekspor, Adaptasi Perbedaan Budaya, UMKM, Fesyen Muslim AbstrakThis study aims to identify and offer recommendations for Gias Wardrobe, a Muslim fashion MSME, to expand its market through international trade or export. It focuses on utilizing a localization strategy that adapts to cultural differences, ensuring the export activities are well-received by the target market in Malaysia. The research adopts a qualitative approach, collecting data through interviews, surveys, and literature reviews. Interviews were conducted with the Gias Wardrobe team, the Trade Attaché in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and experts from the FTA Support Center in Bandung. The strategic recommendations were developed using SWOT analysis, IFAS, and EFAS methods. The findings indicate that Gias Wardrobe still faces challenges in international trade knowledge and cultural aspects, such as differences in values, trends, lifestyles, communication, and consumer behavior. Based on these insights, the study provides actionable export strategy recommendations and a step-by-step implementation plan suited to the needs and situation of Gias Wardrobe.Keywords: Localization Strategy, Export, Cultural Difference Adaptation, MSME, Muslim Fashion

Abstract

Penelitian ini berfokus pada pemberdayaan Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM), khususnya PT. Fenoro Indonesia Perkasa (FIP), yang menghadapi tantangan signifikan dalam tata kelola dan pengelolaan usahanya. Meskipun UMKM memainkan peran vital dalam perekonomian nasional melalui penciptaan lapangan kerja dan pemberdayaan masyarakat lokal, banyak di antaranya, termasuk FIP, mengalami kendala struktural yang menghambat pertumbuhan dan daya saing mereka. PT. Pindad Enjiniring Indonesia (PEI), sebagai bagian dari Badan Usaha Milik Negara (BUMN), telah meluncurkan program pemberdayaan UMKM yang dirancang untuk meningkatkan kapasitas mitra UMKM melalui pelatihan teknis, pendampingan, serta penguatan aspek kelembagaan dan keuangan. Namun, meskipun berbagai strategi telah diterapkan, diperlukan evaluasi menyeluruh untuk mengidentifikasi pendekatan yang paling efektif dan efisien. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) untuk mengevaluasi empat kriteria utama dalam pemberdayaan UMKM: kelembagaan, keuangan, bisnis, dan pasar. Data yang diperoleh melalui wawancara dengan para ahli dan pemangku kepentingan dari PEI dan FIP dianalisis menggunakan AHP untuk menetapkan bobot prioritas setiap kriteria. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan teknis dan bantuan modal merupakan strategi prioritas dalam jangka pendek, sementara pengembangan pasar dan adopsi teknologi menjadi kunci keberlanjutan jangka panjang. Dengan hasil ini, penelitian menekankan bahwa AHP adalah alat yang efektif dalam merumuskan dan mengevaluasi strategi pemberdayaan UMKM. Temuan ini memberikan panduan praktis bagi PEI dalam merancang program yang lebih efisien dan berdampak signifikan bagi UMKM. Selain itu, penelitian ini juga berkontribusi pada literatur tentang pemberdayaan UMKM, terutama dalam hal implementasi strategi yang mendukung pertumbuhan dan keberlanjutan UMKM di Indonesia.

Abstract

Agriculture in Indonesia faces a human resource regeneration crisis as fewer young people enter the sector. This study examines how agricultural modernization can attract the younger generation back to agriculture and how youth interest functions as a mediating factor in accelerating this regeneration process. The research method used is a quantitative approach with a survey design. The sample consists of 50 farmers and agricultural workers, divided into two groups: those who have adopted modern agricultural technology and those using traditional techniques. The results show that agricultural modernization has a significant positive impact on human resource (HR) regeneration, with the interest of the younger generation acting as a mediator that strengthens this relationship
