Abstract

Teknologi yang berkembang semakin komprehensif mengakibatkan perubahan perilaku masyarakat, belanja online menjadi sebuah trend yang banyak digandrungi semua kalangan tak terkecuali mahasiswa. Fenomena yang saat ini terjadi pada mahasiswa program studi Pendidikan IPS UPI yaitu aktivitas belanja online menggunakan aplikasi Shopee. Adapun pertimbangan konsumen memilih menggunakan aplikasi Shopee untuk melakukan kegiatan belanja online tersebut berkat dukungan fitur yang tersedia seperti promosi (diskon) dan metode pembayaran (COD dan ShopeePayLater/SPayLater). Mengetahui pengaruh diskon, COD, dan SPayLater pada aplikasi Shopee terhadap perilaku konsumtif mahasiswa baik secara segmental (parsial) maupun bersama-sama (simultan) menjadi tujuan dari penelitian ini. Pendekatan kuantitatif digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Penyebaran kuesioner (angket) dilakukan dalam pengumpulan data. Sampel dipilih secara acak (purposive random sampling) terhadap 89 mahasiswa. Hasil penelitian ini adalah diskon dan COD pada aplikasi Shopee secara segmental (parsial) memiliki pengaruh positif dan substansial (signifikan), SPayLater pada aplikasi Shopee secara segmental (parsial) tidak memiliki pengaruh positif dan substansial (signifikan) terhadap perilaku konsumtif mahasiswa. Adapun secara simultan diskon, COD, dan SPayLater pada aplikasi Shopee berpengaruh secara substansial (signifikan) terhadap perilaku konsumtif mahasiswa program studi Pendidikan IPS UPI.

Abstract

Post-pandemic social change requires transformation in every element of education. Transfiguration in the structure of character education is one form of educational transformation. There are various differences and changes in the implementation of character education before and after the Covid-19 pandemic. This article will present a comparison of the implementation of character education during face-to-face learning and distance learning. In the discussion, it will explore the analysis of the obstacles and challenges of character education, then propose a solution idea as a form of character education transformation. . The approach used in this research is a mix method approach with descriptive and literature review analysis. The research subjects were students, teachers, and principals at SMPN 14 Bandung. The findings of this study in conclusions; 1) there are differences in student perceptions of the implementation of character education before and after the Covid-19 pandemic; 2) the habituation-based character education process becomes a promising alternative solution as an effort to transform the character education model.

Abstract

TikTok is the most popular social media in Indonesia with an average usage duration of more than 2 hours per day with a percentage of 47.4% from Indonesian population. TikTok initially only functioned as an entertainment media by displaying various short videos. However, along with its development, TikTok now opens up great opportunities for business owners to be able to expand their marketing through video advertisements. This study aims to determine the influence of using TikTok on the establishment of student Entrepreneurial Spirit of Social Science Education students. The approach used is a quantitative approach with a survey method. This study involved 162 respondents as a sample using the Proportionate Stratified Random Sampling technique. The data collection technique used in this study was a questionnaire with a Likert scale. Hypothesis testing in this study using simple linear regression analysis. The results showed a sig value. 0.008 <0.05 and obtained a t-count value of 2.685> t-table 1.975, which means that there is a positive influence between the two variables.

Abstract

One of the most popular social media platforms among students is TikTok, a short-video sharing platform widely used for entertainment. However, excessive and uncontrolled use of TikTok can negatively impact learning activities, such as decreasing the ability to manage time, plan tasks, and complete academic responsibilities independently. These abilities are referred to as Self-Regulated Learning (SRL). In social studies (IPS) learning, SRL plays a crucial role as it helps students understand concepts, manage their study time, and complete tasks in a structured manner. With strong SRL skills, students can maintain focus in IPS learning despite distractions like social media. This study aims to analyze the relationship between SRL in IPS learning and addiction to the social media platform TikTok. The research employs a quantitative approach using a correlational method and purposive sampling technique involving 196 respondents. The data analysis results show a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05 and a Pearson correlation coefficient of -0.440, indicating a significant negative relationship between SRL in IPS learning and TikTok addiction. This means that the higher the level of students' self-regulation in IPS learning, the lower their tendency to experience TikTok addiction. These findings highlight the importance of strengthening self-directed learning strategies to reduce the negative impacts of social media use. Abstract

The cangkuang temple site is a form of cultural heritage tourism whose existence should be preserved because it has essential value for history, knowledge, education, religion, and culture. This study aims to review the potential from the perspective of entrepreneurial sources. This study is a descriptive study with a qualitative approach. The population in this study were entrepreneurs around the cangkuang temple. Sampling by incidental sampling for visitors and people who do activities around the cangkuang temple, and purposive sampling for managers. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. Data analysis techniques use data reduction, data presentation, and data verification. The results of this study can provide cangkuang temple shows that the richness of cultural values ​​​​owned by the site can be used as a source of inspiration in developing creative and educational products. Therefore, it can be concluded that the development of tourist destinations that can increase entrepreneurship in rural areas by using local cultural assets can encourage economic growth through job creation and increasing community income.
