Abstract

Pengabdian ini dilaksanakan berdasarkan permasalahan kurangnya pengetahuan dan keterampilan guru SD Gugus V Kecamatan Kintamani Kabupaten Bangli dalam pemanfaatan media manipulatif konkrit sebagai sumber belajar matematika inovatif. Merujuk pada potensi dan keterbatasan yang ada, solusi untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut adalah dengan menggemakan aktivasi sumber belajar matematika inovatif melalui kegiatan pendidikan dan pelatihan pemanfaatan media manipulatif konkrit bagi guru SD kelas rendah maupun kelas tinggi di wilayah Gugus V Kecamatan Kintamani. Pendidikan dan pelatihan ini telah berhasil mengatasi masalah yang teridentifikasi. Hal tersebut ditunjukkan dengan: 1) guru mengikuti kegiatan ini secara penuh dan dengan antusias yang ditunjukkan oleh persentase kehadiran peserta secara keseluruhan 94,44%; (2) hasil angket respons guru terhadap kegiatan pendidikan dan pelatihan ini termasuk kategori positif dengan persentase sebesar 81,72% serta persentase aktivitas guru dalam mengikuti kegiatan adalah 78% dengan kategori aktif; dan (3) terjadi peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan dari guru  dalam mengidentifikasi, merancang, membuat, dan menggunakan media manipulatif konkrit dengan rata-rata skor validasi produk yang dihasilkan sebesar 3,55 dan tergolong sangat baik.

Abstract

The low student learning outcomes are caused by the lack of learning media that can motivate students to learn. Therefore, it is necessary to develop learning media that can increase student learning motivation. This study aims to produce products in the form of learning video media on science content, especially natural resource materials. This research is a Research & Development research based on the Borg & Gall model. The subject in this research is learning video media, with the validity of the media as the object of research. This study involved one learning material expert, one instructional media expert, one instructional design expert, and field test preparation (one teacher and six students). The data collection method used questionnaires and questionnaires which were then analyzed using quantitative descriptive analysis. The results of this study indicate that from the aspect of learning materials, aspects of learning media, and aspects of learning design, the qualifications are very good with a percentage of 96.1%. From the aspect of field testing, this media preparation has very good qualifications with a percentage of 97.4%. It was concluded that the learning video media developed was suitable for use in science content, especially natural resource materials in grade IV SD. Therefore, it is recommended to use video media as an alternative in improving the quality of learning natural resource materials in the fourth grade of elementary school.

Abstract

Terbatasnya media pembelajaran digital untuk tema-tema di PAUD memberikan hambatan terhadap guru dalam menyampaikan materi selama pembelajaran daring. Begitupula, siswa mengalami kesulitan memahami materi yang disampaikan guru selama pembelajaran daring tanpa menggunakan media. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah  mengembangkan dan menguji efektivitas konten digital dalam meningkatan kemampuan kognitif anak usia dini (AUD). Produk penelitian dikembangkan menggunakan model Hannafin dan Peck  yang meliputi: (1) tahap analisis kebutuhan, (2) tahap desain, (3) tahap pengembangan dan implementasi. Subjek yang terlibat dalam penelitian ini adalah 2 orang ahli yaitu ahli media sekaligus ahli desain pembelajaran dan 1 orang ahli konten pembelajaran di TK. Metode dan instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi, wawancara,  kuesioner, dan tes. Data yang diperoleh melalui observasi, kuesioner, dan wawancara dianalisis secara statistik deskriptif. Data yang diperoleh dari tes dianalisis menggunakan uji-t sampel berkorelasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aspek desain, media, dan aspek isi produk yang dikembangkan berada pada kategori sangat baik dan konten digital efektif untuk meningkatkan kemampuan kognitif. Dengan demikian, konten digital berbasis teori pemrosesan informasi mampu memudahkan siswa mengingat dan memahami materi pelajaran selama pembelajan daring.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the less than optimal utilization of digital media, which affects student learning outcomes. This study aims to (1) Analyze the design of interactive multimedia development on Pancasila content for grade IV. (2) Analyze the validity of expert tests on learning content, learning design experts, learning media experts, individual trials, and small group trials on interactive multimedia products on Pancasila content for grade IV Elementary Schools, and (3) Analyze the effectiveness of interactive multimedia on Pancasila content for grade IV Elementary Schools after being used in learning. This research is classified as a type of development research using the ADDIE model. The subjects involved in this study were 3 experts and grade 4 Elementary School students. Data were collected using interview methods, observation, questionnaires and multiple-choice objective tests. Data analysis techniques were qualitative descriptive analysis, quantitative descriptive analysis and inferential statistical analysis (t-test). The study showed very good validation results: subject experts (95.5%), instructional media experts (94%), individual trials (92.44%), and small group trials (94.81%), while instructional design experts rated it good (88.75%). The effectiveness results showed that there was a difference in student learning outcomes after implementing interactive multimedia based on problem based learning on Pancasila content. It was concluded that interactive multimedia based on problem based learning is feasible and effective to be applied to Pancasila content for grade IV Elementary Schools. The innovation of interactive multimedia based on problem based learning has significant implications for the learning process.

Abstract

Most students still have low interest in science. This can be caused by parenting patterns that are less supportive and motivating. This study aims to analyze the significant relationship between parenting patterns in improving students' scientific literacy skills in the attitude aspect. This study is a type of ex post facto correlational research with a population of 98 students and a sample of 30 respondents. Sampling using stratified random sampling technique. The method and instrument for data collection in this study used a non-test method, namely a questionnaire. The data analysis technique used quantitative techniques, for hypothesis testing using simple linear regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted, which means that there is a significant relationship between parenting patterns and students' scientific literacy skills because with the implementation of good parenting patterns, it will improve children's scientific literacy skills. The implications of this study are expected to be study material for teachers and parents in providing good parenting patterns for children.

Abstract

Pembelajaran abad 21 menekankan pada keterampilan literasi, penguasaan teknologi, pengetahuan, serta keterampilan dan sikap. Penguasaan literasi memerlukan upaya untuk meningkatkan daya saing di era pembelajaran abad 21. Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah rendahnya kegiatan literasi baca tulis di sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh yang signifikan pembelajaran literasi baca tulis berbasis keterampilan abad 21 terhadap keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi siswa kelas III. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis eksperimen semu dengan rancangan non aquivalent post-test only control group design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa yang berjumlah 250 siswa. Teknik pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan random sampling, didapatkan kelompok eksperimen yang berjumlah 60 siswa dan kelompok kontrol yang berjumlah 61 siswa. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tes pilihan ganda. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah uji-t. Rata-rata skor keterampilan HOTS siswa di kelas eksperimen adalah 79,78 berada pada kategori baik dan di kelas kontrol 67,55 berada pada kategori cukup. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian hipotesis dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan pembelajaran literasi baca tulis berbasis keterampilan abad 21 terhadap keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi siswa.

Abstract

Pembelajaran matematika menuntut siswa untuk mampu bertindak secara mandiri. Saat belajar matematika kemampuan metakognitif sangat dibutuhkan dalam penyelesaian soal dengan baik.  Akan tetapi kemampuan siswa dalam pemecahan soal matematika sering mengalami kendala, tidak sedikit siswa yang memperoleh nilai matematika rendah. Oleh karena itu penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan metakognitif siswa melalui pengembangan media pembelajaran yang inovatif berupa game edukasi. Model pengembangan yang digunakan yaitu ADDIE. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari ahli isi pembelajaran, ahli desain pembelajaran, ahli media pembelajaran, dan respon siswa. Pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan metode angket dan tes, sehingga data yang diperoleh akan diolah menggunakan teknik analisis kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Adapun hasil dari penelitian ini, diperoleh validitas game dari ahli isi pembelajaran 91%, ahli desain pembelajaran 90%, ahli media 94%, kepraktisan  respon pengguna oleh guru 91%, siswa perorangan 97,66% dan kelompok kecil 98,33% dengan kualifikasi keseluruhan sangat baik, efektivitas pada nilai rata-rata pretest soal essay 57,64 dan posttest 77,80. Perhitungan uji-t berkorelasi menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar siswa setelah menggunakan game edukasi. Sebagai kesimpulan, dengan belajar menggunakan Game Math Hunt dapat  digunakan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan metakognitif siswa pada muatan pelajaran matematika kelas III SD. Implikasi penelitian ini yaitu Game Math Hunt berorientasi Problem Based Learning pada muatan pelajaran matematika dapat meningkatkan kemampuan metakognitif siswa kelas III SD.

Abstract

Learning of IPAS (Science, Environment, and Social Studies) in elementary schools is often hindered by the lack interactive media that can simplify abstract concepts such as the parts of plant bodies. This leads to low motivation and understanding among students. This study aims to design, evaluate the validity, and measure the effectiveness of animated video learning media to optimize learning outcomes for fourth-grade elementary students. Using ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation), involved 3 experts (content, design, and media), 3 students in individual trials, and 6 students in small group trials. Data was collected through questionnaires and tests, then analyzed using descriptive quantitative techniques and t-tests. The results showed excellent validity: 96% (content expert), 85.45% (design expert), 92.63% (media expert), 95.14% (individual trial), and 93.63% (small group trial). The media's effectiveness was proven by an increase in scores from 28.83 (pretest) to 85.33 (posttest) (tcount = 38.157 > ttable = 2.045). This media is effective in improving IPAS learning outcomes. The implication is that media can be integrated into the Independent Curriculum to support interactive and technology-based learning.

Abstract

The use of innovative learning media is crucial in creating an engaging, interactive, and effective learning process. There is a growing need for media that can enhance students' active engagement through the integration of neurofeedback elements. This study aims to develop neurofeedback-oriented animated micro-videos for the Science and Social Studies (IPAS) subject in fourth-grade elementary school. The method employed is Research and Development (R&D) using the ADDIE model, which includes the stages of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The research subjects consisted of three experts (in content, media, and instructional design), three students for the individual trial, six students for the small group trial, and 28 fourth-grade students in the field trial through pre-test and post-test procedures. Data were collected through interviews, questionnaires, and expert validations. The validation results showed that the material and media aspects received a feasibility score of 98%, while the instructional design component received 95%, all categorized as "very good". Student responses in both the individual and small group trials were 100% positive. The study concludes that the neurofeedback-oriented animated micro-video media is feasible to be implemented to support IPAS learning in a more effective and interactive manner. The implications of this study suggest that the integration of neurofeedback-based technology in learning media holds significant potential for improving the quality of instruction and supporting instructional differentiation across various learning contexts.

Abstract

Metacognition is the ability to understand, control, and evaluate thinking processes, which is important for independent learning, critical thinking, and adaptation in the 21st century. However, the metacognitive abilities of elementary school students are still low, as seen in their low IPAS scores due to limited teaching materials. The aim of this study is to develop a valid and effective contextual-based e-book to improve students’ metacognitive abilities. This research uses the Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). The subjects of this study consisted of three experts and 25 students. Data were collected in both quantitative and qualitative forms, using questionnaires for expert validation. Test instruments were used for the pretest and posttest, and data were analyzed using the t-test technique. The results showed that the e-book was successfully developed through the stages of the ADDIE model. The e-book was declared valid based on expert reviews, with a score of 96.00% from content experts, 96.00% from instructional design experts, and 98.00% from media experts. User responses to the e-book reached 98.00% in individual trials and 98.22% in small group trials. The effectiveness of the e-book, based on the t-test, showed a significance level of 0.000 < 0.05, indicating a significant difference in students’ metacognitive abilities before and after using the e-book. It can be concluded that contextual e-books are valid and effective in improving metacognitive abilities and have implications for improving students' metacognitive abilities. They are also a solution to overcome the limited teaching materials available in the learning process.
