Abstract

"Pagang gadai" transaction has become a sociocultural activity for Minangkabau society in West Sumatera. This transaction has been entrenched and rooted in life. However, over time, this activity has begun to change from its initial values, as a principle of helping each other and a cultural tradition, to an economic motive, namely a business transaction, which then turns into a commercial value. Several studies have indicated that "pagang gadai" is no longer merely applying the principle of helping each other and a cultural activity, but has an economic motive, that is a shifting pattern that leads to the hold over wealth from one person to another in order to obtain financial benefits. This transaction allows the pawnbroker to hold productive agricultural land, such as rice fields, fish ponds, yards, coconut trees, and even cars. The right-of-use land and productive assets then belong to the lender. So, some research and empirical studies indicate that "pagang gadai" no longer has a social value but begins to partially change into usury. Therefore, it is better for the society to go back to the foundation of adat philosophy "syarak mangato adat memakai", and the application of state law should be consistent as Government Regulation in Lieu of Law No.56/1960 about the use of agricultural land in Article 7 limits the period of "pagang gadai" to 7 years and the agricultural land is handed back without ransom.

Abstract

Entrepreneurship learning is a very important lesson for prospective economics teachers, because one of the competencies that must be possessed is to guide students so that they have life skills after completing their study. The learning is carried out in an Entrepreneurship practice course. Before they practice they must understand the business ecosystem as one of the prerequisites for the sustainability of a business. As long as these students carry out entrepreneurial practices, they are only business activities that are usually carried out by the general public without having innovation value and paying attention to coaching aspects. In this Action Research study, it was carried out by paying attention to where in stage 1, students showed low entrepreneurial interest, but by implementing Project-based learning with a business Ecosystem approach it was able to increase student interest in entrepreneurship and also increase student knowledge and understanding in maintaining sustainability business.

Abstract

The pandemic has changed all orders of life, all levels of society have been affected, including the lives of scavengers who work to collect used waste. Scavengers usually sell all their scavenged products, even though there are types of scavengers that can be used as recycled creations that have a selling value. This service aims to provide an understanding to scavengers on how to recycle scavenged goods to make various creations that have economic value. In line with this service activity, training and coaching for scavenger families will be carried out. The presentation of the material is carried out using lecture and discussion methods, supported by infocus media. The scavenger participants immediately took part in practicing how to make various plastic waste recycling creations with materials that had been prepared by the service team. Through this service, it is hoped that scavengers will gain understanding to develop their potential, gain skills, which eventually become creative and skilled human beings so that they will be able to improve the family's economic condition during the current pandemic.

Abstract

This research aimed to test the effect of multimedia and lecturer-student interaction on student engagement in students of the Faculty of Economics, Universitas Negeri Padang. This type of research was descriptive quantitative. The sample was taken by using the Slovin formula with 358 respondents. The measure used in the study was the likert scale. The type of data used in this study was primary data obtained through the dissemination of questionnaires to students of the Faculty of Economics, Universitas Negeri Padang. The analysis method used SEM PLS analysis using SmartPLS 3.0. The results of this study showed that: lecturer-student interaction had a significant effect on student engagement. Multimedia had a significant effect on lecturer-student interaction. Multimedia had no significant effect on student engagement. The implication of this study was that empirically in learning that online student interaction was very necessary in order to increase student involvement in learning. Then, the use of multimedia affected student involvement in learning. The future research agenda needs to study more deeply the use of multimedia on student involvement in learning.

Abstract

Era disrupsi teknologi tidak hanya berefek pada perubahan silkus bisnis, namun juga berdampak dunia pendidikan. Pendidikan tinggi dituntut untuk merancang strategi pembelajaran yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan dunia kerja serta memperhatikan karakteristik mahasiswa yang akrab dengan teknologi atau dikenal dengan generasi milenial. Proses pembejaran pada pendidikan tinggi pun diharapkan tidak hanya mengasah kemampuan mahasiswa secara akademis atau vokasional, namun juga harus mampu menghasilkan mahasiswa yang memiliki kecapakan di era 4.0 atau sering dikenal dengan kemampuan 4Cs. Peran dosen dalam mengahasilkan lulusan mahasiswa yang memiliki kecapakan di era 4.0 tentu tidak terlepas dari kompetensi yang harus dimiliki oleh dosen dalam menyelenggaran pembelajaran. Dosen di era 4.0 harus mampu menjadi seorang pendidik yang memiliki kemampuan mempelajari pola piker mahasiswa, memilliki literasi digital, serta mampu mengintegrasikan kegiatan kelas yang selama ini dilakukan dengan beberapa platform media pembelajaran online. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis bagaimana persepsi mahasiswa terhadap kompetensi dosen dalam melakukan pembelajaran di era 4.0. Metode yang digunakan dalam penlitian ini adalah metode Analysis Factor Confirmatory dengan 200 responden dan dianalisis menggunakan Struktural Equation Model menggunakan PLS.. Hasil pengukuran faktor loading dari item-item yang digunakan sebagai pembentuk variabel kemampuan dosen menunjukkan angka di atas 0,5. Hal ini mengindikasikan bahwa menuurut mahasiswa osen Fakultas Ekonomi telah memiliki kompetensi yang baik dalam melaksanakan proses pembelajaran di era 4.0

Abstract

This study aims to analyze: 1.) The effect of learning discipline on interest in learning 2.) The effect of learning motivation on interest in learning 3.) The effect of teacher teaching skills on interest in learning 4.) The effect of learning media on interest in learning 5.) To analyze learning discipline , learning motivation, teacher teaching skills and learning media simultaneously on online learning outcomes in economics class XII AKL SMK Negeri 2 Bukittinggi. The population of this study were students of class XII AKL SMK Negeri 2 Bukittinggi, amounting to 90 people. The sampling technique used was Stratified Sampling with a total sample of 62 people. The instrument used for this research is a closed questionnaire using the Multilevel Linear Regression test and hypothesis testing with t test and F test.The results of the study show that: (1) learning discipline greatly affects students' interest in learning, a greater influence is found in the sample group of non-current internet network ownership, this is because if internet access is inadequate it will affect students' interest in learning; (2) learning motivation greatly affects students' interest in learning, the biggest influence comes from students with poor internet access this is due to the lack of student motivation in distance learning because the network is less stable this affects interest in learning; (3) teacher's teaching skills greatly affect interest in learning, the greater influence comes from samples with ownership of internet access that is not smooth, this is because if internet access is lacking, the learning process changes from conventional to network that still does not master technology so that the learning process does not run. maximum ; (4) learning media greatly influences interest in learning, the biggest influence comes from samples of internet access that are not smooth, this is because not all students have internet access and difficulties in using the learning media provided, so that it will affect students' interest in learning.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze: 1) To determine the effect of learning methods on the learning outcomes of class X accounting students at SMK N 1 Sutera. 2) To determine the effect of learning motivation on the learning outcomes of class X accounting students at SMK Negeri 1 Sutera. 3) To determine the effect of the school environment on the learning outcomes of class X accounting students at SMK Negeri 1 Sutera. 4) To determine the effect of learning methods, learning motivation and school environment simultaneously affect the learning outcomes of class X accounting students at SMK Negeri 1 Sutera. This type of research is associative and descriptive. The population of this research is accounting students of class X at SMK Negeri 1 Sutera totaling 101 people. The sampling technique used is proportional random sampling with a sample size of 81 people. Data analysis was assisted by SPSS version 15 and eviews version 8. The results of this study indicate that: 1) Learning methods have a positive and significant effect on student learning outcomes. Learning motivation has a positive and significant effect on student learning outcomes. The school environment has a positive and significant effect on learning outcomes. There is a simultaneous influence of learning methods, learning motivation and school environment on learning outcomes, so it can be concluded that Hypothesis 4 is accepted which means there is an influence of learning methods (X1), learning motivation (X2) and school environment (X3). Based on the results of this study, the authors suggest that teachers can provide varied learning methods and make students not bored, suggest students to further increase student learning motivation, it is hoped that in learning, especially in completing the tasks given by the teacher, it should be done faster and not negligently as well as the environment. a clean and good school to take part in learning because the school environment is very important for the learning process.

Abstract

Community service is one of the Tridharma of university lecturers apart from teaching and research. To realize this, Lecturers at the Faculty of Economics and Business, PGRI University, West Sumatra, are carrying out Community Partnership Program (PKM) activities with the theme Fishery Product Processing Training for Students of the Freshwater Fisheries Agribusiness Department at SMK Negeri 10 Padang. This PKM aims to provide skills and knowledge to students regarding the processing of freshwater fisheries products and as a form of integrating PKK subjects and productive freshwater fisheries cultivation in implementing the Merdeka Curriculum. In implementing the independent curriculum, there are many ways or models of learning that can be used in the hope that the quality of learning will increase. One model that can be applied is the integrative learning model. This learning model is inductive, which combines several aspects into one process. Class XII students attended this activity and carried out using the lecture method, practical processing of freshwater fishery products, and questions and answers. After participating in this activity, students are expected to be able to practice for themselves how to process freshwater fish into products that have economic value and a high selling value.

Abstract

This research aimed to analyse the influence of member loans, own capital, total assets, and number of members on Surplus in Sharia Financing Saving and Loan Cooperatives (SFSLC) in Padang City. This type of research was associative research. The sample in this research was a Sharia financing savings and loan cooperative in Padang City in 2018-2022. The sampling used a purposive sampling technique. The data analysis technique used panel data regression with EViews 8 software. The research results showed that: 1) Member loans had a positive and significant effect on the surplus of SFSLC in Padang city. 2) Own capital had a positive and significant effect on the surplus of SFSLC in Padang city. 3) Total assets did not have a positive and significant effect on the surplus of SFSLC in Padang city. 4) The number of members had a positive and significant effect on the surplus of SFSLC in Padang city. In conclusion, member loans, own capital, and number of members have a positive and significant effect on the surplus of SFSLC in Padang city.

Abstract

This study aims to determine 1) the development of the agricultural sector in the economies of developed an developing countries, 2) the growth of agricultural sector in the economies of developed and developing countries, 3) the contribution of the agricultural sector to the economies of developed and developing countries, and 4) productivity of the agricultural sector in the economy of developed and developing countries. This study uses 50 analytical articles based on filtering articles based on the specified topic. The research method uses a systematic literature review. The data used is secondary data. The data sources used in the research were obtained from Lens.org and Google Scholar in the form of articles and journals. The results show that the development of the agricultural sector in the economy is a sector that a role in the country’s economy, both in developed and developing countries.
