Abstract

Perkembangan radikalisme agama yang masuk pada sektor pendidikan melalui berbagai macam strategi dakwahnya, tentu menjadi perhatian serius bagi para pemangku kebijakan disetiap jenjang pendidikan. Tidak terkecuali pendidikan tinggi berbasis pesantren salaf. Penelitian ini membahas tentang desain pembelajaran fiqh multi madhab, kandungan nilai-nilai moderasi dalam pembelajaran tersebut, dan ragam penerapan metode pembelajaran yang digunakan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif yang menekankan pada metode deskriptif untuk memperoleh gambaran tentang desain pembelajaran fiqh di Mahad Aly Situbondo dalam menangkal radikalisme agama. Dalam mengumpulkan data, peneliti menggunakan teknik wawancara, observasi dan studi dokumen. Hasil penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa konsep pembelajaran fiqh progresif digunakan untuk mencegah pemahaman radikal santri terhadap hukum Islam. Konsep pembelajaran ini diantaranya menyajikan kajian fiqh multi madhab, interkoneksi antar disiplin ilmu, dan menjadikan fiqh tekstualis menjadi kontekstual. Nilai-nilai moderasi yang ditanamkan dalam konsep pembelajaran fiqh progresif ini diantaranya adalah pandangan washatiyah, sikap nasionalisme, dan nilai keadilan. Sedangkan metode pembelajaran yang digunakan adalah ekspositori, diskusi mandiri dan bahtsul masail.

Abstract

Islamic Religious Education (IRE) in secondary schools is often implemented in a normative and text-oriented manner, limiting dialogical learning and the development of students’ questioning skills. Existing studies largely view questioning skills as outcomes of individual teachers’ pedagogical practices, paying little attention to school-level managerial factors. Addressing this gap, this qualitative descriptive study examines students’ questioning skills in IRE and the pedagogical and managerial factors supporting their development at SMP Negeri 1 Asembagus. Data were collected through classroom observations, in-depth interviews, and document analysis, and analyzed using the Miles and Huberman interactive model with triangulation. The findings show that students’ questioning skills developed from LOTS to HOTS levels. Importantly, this development is supported not only by interactive pedagogy but also by instructional leadership, continuous academic supervision, curriculum guidance, and a sustainable evaluation culture, indicating a synergistic interaction between pedagogy and school management. The synergistic findings of teacher and managerial pedagogy of teachers and principals are the theoretical contribution of this research, which practically has implications for the need for visionary, progressive, and innovative school principals to improve teacher pedagogics that can improve the quality of the learning process.

Abstract

This article examines the possibility of reconstructing Islamic epistemology through the integration of classical Ilm al-Usūl principles with modern epistemic challenges. The revivalist/textualist, reformist/maqāṣidī, and critical-hermeneutic approaches to Islamic epistemology are discussed, each contributing a unique perspective on the reconciliation of traditional Islamic knowledge with modern intellectual developments. The main objective is to analyze how Ilm al-Usūl can maintain its normative foundations while responding to contemporary issues such as misinformation, the growing complexity of scientific knowledge, and the fragmentation of epistemic authority. By examining maqāṣid al-sharīʿa, ḥujjiyyah, and other core concepts within Ilm al-Usūl, the article proposes a conceptual bridge that balances revelation with empirical data, fostering a more adaptive epistemological framework. The research design follows a conceptual-analytical library approach, utilizing both classical Islamic legal texts and modern epistemological literature, including social epistemology and theories of knowledge justification. The results reveal that the reconstruction model offers a more comprehensive solution compared to traditional approaches, addressing modern epistemic challenges without abandoning foundational Islamic principles. The discussion highlights the importance of modernizing the methodology to include empirical tools like data literacy and ethical considerations, while maintaining the normative integrity of Islamic knowledge. The article concludes by presenting practical implications for Islamic education and religious authority, recommending the integration of scientific literacy and modern epistemic practices into Ilm al-Usūl curricula. It also suggests future research on specific case studies and the development of modern indicators of epistemic authority.

Abstract

Motivasi belajar siswa kelas VII MTs. Al-Islamiyah Bebidas Lombok Timur NTB pada mata pelajaran Al-Qur’an Hadis masih kurang/rendah, karena disebabkan proses pembelajaran kurang menyenangkan dan kurang bervariasinya metode pembelajaran. Oleh sebab itu, metode pembelajaran perlu diperbaiki agar dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa sehingga hasil belajarnya pun meningkat. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut diterapkan metode play game numbered head together (NHT) untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa. Desain penelitian menggunakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan metode pembelajaran Numbered Head Together (NHT) mampu meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa pada pelajaran al-qur’an hadist siswa kelas VII MTs. Al-Islamiyah Bebidas Lombok Timur NTB. Hal itu dapat dibuktikan: 1) Adanya peningkatan ketepatan aktivitas guru sesuai prosedur pada siklus I yaitu 78% (cukup), pada siklus II 97% hasinya meningkat (sangat baik) dan 2) Adanya peningkatan motivasi belajar siswa MTs Al-Islamiyah Bebidas disetiap siklusnya yaitu pada pra siklus 35% dengan kriteria kurang, pada siklus I diperoleh prosentase sebanyak 55% dengan kriteria kurang, pada siklus II diperoleh prosentase sebanyak 80% dengan kriteria baik

Abstract

This research aims to provide an explanation of the urgency of the academic supervision strategy carried out by the head of the madrasa. Teacher performance is the policy line for the head of the madrasah in Lamongan. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study design, madrasah in Lamongan. Data collection was carried out by interview, observation, and documentation techniques. Data analysis techniques include reduction, presentation, and drawing conclusions as well as checking the validity of the data by means of data triangulation techniques. The results of the study confirm that the strategy used by the madrasa head in improving teacher performance is by planning academic supervision starting from the head of the madrasa to forming a supervising team. Then the team that has been formed formulates goals, sets goals, makes schedules and reviews academic monitoring instruments. Then the planning of the academic supervision program is carried out routinely at the beginning of each new school year. The preparation of the academic supervision program includes the entire learning process, namely planning, implementing and evaluating learning.

Abstract

Contextual learning media is not much developed by PAI teachers. In addition, there are limitations of teacher competencies to develop creative learning media for students. Therefore, this study aims to describe the design specifications of digital comic learning media with a contextual approach in improving student learning outcomes in class VII PAI subjects. After that, the second goal is to find out the feasibility of digital comic learning media with a contextual approach from material experts and media experts. This research method uses a research and development approach. The research model used is Analyze, Design, Develop, Implementation and Evaluation. Data collection was obtained through observation, documentation, interviews, and validation instruments. The results of this study indicate that the design specifications for digital comic learning media discuss religious material that requires contextual explanation, in this case, honest, trustworthy, and consistent material. The output of learning media can be used via a smart phone based on the Android system. The feasibility of comics from the material aspect obtains a very feasible category with a mode of 84.7%. While the feasibility of comics in the media aspect is smaller than the feasibility of the material, arround 80%, but it is still a proper level using in learning. Through a sufficiently mature initial study and recommendations for the feasibility of comic media from experts, it is strongly predicted that this learning media can improve learning outcomes for class VII junior high school students with contextual-based learning

Abstract

Halaqoh is a learning system that has an important role to play in the development of academic and spiritual competence in the darul fiqhi boarding house. In the abstract, it will be discussed the significance, methods, and results of the implementation of halaqoh in the boarding school. Halaqoh is a religious discussion forum that is held regularly in boarding schools, where santri gathers to discuss religious issues, to understand religious texts, and to explore spiritual values. These methods of learning enable santri to interact directly with educators and fellow santri, facilitate a deep understanding of islamic doctrine, and promote moral and ethical values. The implementation of halaqoh has had a positive impact on the development of academic and spiritual competence in the darul fiqhi boarding house. Santri became more adept at learning religious teachings, improved in speaking and discussion skills, and integrated religious values into everyday life. The result was that santri not only excelled in academic aspects, but also had strong spiritual depth. In the context of islamic education, halaqoh in the darul fiqhi boarding house became a successful model of blending academic and spiritual education. It provides a solid foundation for santri to be a competent and ethical leader in society, and it makes the boarding school an educational institution that contributes to the formation of a faithful and knowledgeable generation.

Abstract

In the context of Islamic Religious Education in Indonesia, Islamic boarding schools (pesantren) play an important role in fostering the moral and spiritual development of society. However, the reality shows that many Islamic boarding schools face challenges in attracting community participation. This study aims to analyze the strategies implemented by the Al-Futuhat Islamic Boarding School in Garut to increase community interest in religious activities. This study uses a qualitative approach. The results of the study show that the Al-Futuhat Islamic Boarding School carries out 3 strategies to attract community attention and participation, namely: (1) learning innovation by promoting the 'talaran nadhom' method, (2) innovative programs for the community such as free hajj-umrah and others, (3) establishing close cooperation with community leaders and graduates of this Islamic boarding school.

Abstract

SMP Negeri 1 Asembagus (State Junior High School 1 Asembagus) is the one of reference schools in implementing Situbondo Regent’s Regulation Number 5 in 2015 with coaching activities of reading and writing al-Qur’an in the form of Pesantren Sekolah (Concept of Islamic Boarding School in the School) so that the students can read al-Qur’an well and memorize Juz Amma at least 25 chapters correctly until these activities can give birth to the generation who have intellectual intelligence and noble character. The results showed that the Implementation of Regent’s Regulation Number 5 in 2015 at SMP Negeri 1 Asembagus (State Junior High School 1 Asembagus) by hold up Pesantren Sekolah (Concept of Islamic Boarding School in the School) activities. Supporting factors include intrinsic motivation of the students, Support from their family, and support from teaching staff of Tahfidul Qur’an Institution of Sukorejo Islamic Boarding School. Inhibiting factor include bad friends.

Abstract

Abstract: technological development and globalization flow have got change rapidly from one sector to another sector. That matter becomes a vital indicator to Pesantren for upgrade and keeping the qualities of graduates. So that many efforts do to provide militant, integrity, clever, and creative cadres who can give a huge contribution to the development of Indonesia country. Lesson activity that made more active and communicative can stimulate student to have enthusiasm, motivation, and concentration to get the goal of learning. One of the important competencies that have to owned by teacher based on the two ways communication paradigm is class management. Class management is a systematic and structured effort to get the goal of learning activities. The urgency of class management for the teacher in pesantren caused it can provide student to get actual work in thinking, interaction, and argue abilities.
