This research is a quantitative research with correlational type involving 91 final year students at Universitas Islam “45” Bekasi. The sampling technique used a non-probability sample technique with a proportionate strafied random sampling technique. This study uses an academic resilience scale with a reliability value of 0.891 Chronbach's Alpha, an academic stress scale with a Chronbach's Alpha reliability value of 0.943 and an optimism scale with a Chronbach's Alpha reliability value of 0.895. The data analysis technique used Rank- Spearman correlation test and multiple linear regression. This study found that there is a positive relationship between academic stress and optimism on academic resilience. Then, there is also an influence between academic stress and optimism on academic resilience with an effective contribution of 13.8% for final year students at Universitas Islam "45" Bekasi.

Abstract

The rapid development of technology has a significant impact on various fields, one of which is technology in agriculture. The use of technology in agriculture, such as the Internet of Things (IoT), aims to make it easier for farmers to monitor, manage and carry out agricultural activities. The solution for farmers to utilize technology in monitoring agricultural land to get more effective and efficient harvests so that they can increase productivity and yields is by using IoT technology. The application of IoT technology in hydroponic farming systems can be done to determine the parts per million (ppm) content in water and water levels in real-time. The method used in this community service is socialization and training for farmers in Medalkrisna Village, as well as testing using the prototyping method connected to the Blynk application. This tool allows farmers to monitor parts per million of water and water levels online and makes it easier for farmers to monitor. The managerial implications of implementing Blyink’s Internet of Things-based hydroponic system to improve food security include increasing the efficiency of resource management and optimizing agricultural production.

Abstract

This study examines the relationship between social support and subjective well-being among students at Universitas Islam 45 Bekasi. College students, transitioning from adolescence to adulthood, often face academic pressures and life challenges impacting their well-being. This study use a quantitative correlational design and involved 134 students selected through simple random sampling, with the sample size determined via G*Power using a medium effect size. Data collection utilized validated and reliable subjective well-being and social support scales. Data analysis included assumption tests (normality and linearity) and hypothesis testing with simple regression and Spearman correlation. The findings reveal that social support significantly influences subjective well-being, indicating that higher social support corresponds to greater well-being levels. This highlights the importance of developing social support programs in universities to enhance student well-being. Future research could broaden the scope by involving students from diverse universities and incorporating additional variables, such as self-efficacy or coping strategies, to deepen insights into factors influencing subjective well-being.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of emotional intelligence on self-efficacy in students of Universitas Islam 45 Bekasi. This study uses a quantitative method with a research design using correlational research. The subjects in this study are all students of Universitas Islam 45 Bekasi, The population sample we used in this study amounted to 134 students using a simple random sampling method using G*Power by stating the number of samples in this study. This study used a self-efficacy scale with an alpha Cronbach reliability value of 0.895 and an emotional intelligence scale with an alpha Cronbach reliability value of 0.920. The data analysis technique uses the spearman Rho correlation. The study found that there was a positive relationship between emotional intelligence and self-efficacy. However, students who have a fairly high level of emotional intelligence automatically have good self-efficacy. On the other hand, if students have a low level of emotional intelligence, it will affect the student's self-efficacy.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of self-concept and self-regulation on academic stress in students of Universitas Islam 45 Bekasi. A quantitative approach with a correlational design was used to test the relationship between these variables. Data were collected through a Likert-based questionnaire on 137 active students aged 18–23 years. The results of the analysis showed that self-concept had a significant negative relationship with academic stress, while self-regulation did not show a significant effect. These findings indicate the importance of self-concept in managing students' academic stress. Although self-regulation was not statistically significant, there was still a relevant negative relationship. The implication of this study is the need for self-concept development programs to support student well-being, while improving self-regulation can be considered in other contexts. This study provides new insights into managing academic stress and supports more effective interventions in higher education settings.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of social support and self esteem on work motivation in working students. The research method used in this study is quantitative with a correlational design used to examine the relationship between social support variables and self esteem to work motivation with the sampling technique used, namely purposive sampling. Data collection in this study is using a social support scale, self esteem scale, and work motivation scale on 134 students who have worked with a length of work <1 year - >4 years. The analysis techniques used in this study are spearmen correlation and multiple linear regression. The results of the analysis that has been done show that there is a significant positive relationship in social support to work motivation. These results indicate that students who are already working and have high social support will increase their work motivation. However, self esteem shows that there is no significant influence on work motivation. In this study, the effective contribution value given from each variable is r2 = 0, 658 or 65.8%.

Abstract

The transition to college life often requires students to face various challenges and significant changes in their lives. Individuals who have a high level of subjective well-being tend to have the ability to assess life events in a more positive way. This study aims to analyze the relationship between religiosity and grit with subjective well-being in Psychology students at Universitas Islam 45 Bekasi. This study used a quantitative method involving 134 respondents who were determined using a non-probability sampling technique with a consecutive sampling method. Data collection was carried out using three psychological scales, namely the religiosity scale, the grit scale, and the subjective well-being scale, and the data analysis techniques applied included assumption tests using normality and linearity tests, as well as hypothesis tests using correlation tests and multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that there was a significant positive relationship between religiosity and subjective well-being (r = 0.546, p <0.005), as well as between grit and subjective well-being (r = 0.738, p <0.005). Multiple linear regression analysis revealed that religiosity and grit together could predict 57.6% of the variance in subjective well-being (R2 = 0.576), (F(2,121) = 89.037), (p < 0.001), while the remaining 42.4% was influenced by other factors.

The sampling technique used in this study was probability sampling with simple random sampling. The data collection method in this study uses psychological scales, namely the anxiety scale, self-efficacy scale, and optimism scale in Likert form. Judging from each X variable, stated self-efficacy predicts anxiety significantly while optimism cannot predict anxiety significantly. Self-efficacy and optimism have a very strong negative relationship with anxiety in first-year students at Islamic University 45 Bekasi..
