Abstract

Rosella flower petals contain anthocyanin dyes which can be used as natural dyes. One of the uses of rosella is to add it to transparent bath soap with dietanolamide as surfactant. Dietanolamide is a surfactant that can function to increase the stability of foam in transparent soap. This study aims to determine the best formulation, characteristics and consumer acceptance of transparent soap with rosella extract with dietanolamide as surfactant. The treatment given in this study is the concentraction of rosella extract by 1%, 2%, and 3%. Whereas for DEA is 1% and 3%. Observations made on transparent soap include physicochemical tests of soap, organoleptic tests, and statistical tests with ANOVA variance. The results of the analysis show that all formulations do not meet the requirements of SNI 06-3532-1994. Except for pH, foam stability, and emulsion stability. Organoleptic results (shape, color, transparency, lots of foam, and impression of fatigue) showed that panelists liked formulation 2 with the addition of 2% roselle extract and 1% dietanolamide.Keywords: Transparent soap, rosella extract, dietanolamide

Abstract

Pemerintah Republik Indonesia telah menerbitkan Undang-Undang Jaminan Produk Halal Nomor 33 Tahun 2014. Makanan, minuman, obat, kosmetika, dan barang gunaan yang masuk, beredar, dan dijual di wilayah Indonesia wajib bersertifikat halal. PT. XYZ memproduksi barang gunaan hand sanitizer. Perusahaan ini belum memiliki dan menerapkan Sistem Jaminan Halal (HAS 23000). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menyusun, mengimplementasikan, dan mengevaluasi SJH di PT. XYZ. Metode penelitian menggunakan data kualitatif. Penyusunan kebijakan halal, penunjukan tim manajemen halal, matriks halal dan dokumen pendukung bahan, serta fasilitas produksi menggunakan metode deskriptif. Penyusunan SOP dalam bentuk diagram alir menggunakan Microsoft Visio. Implementasi SJH dilakukan sesuai Manual SJH yang telah disusun. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dokumen SJH yang disusun telah sesuai dengan proses bisnis perusahaan. Penerapan SJH juga telah diterapkan dengan baik. Seluruh karyawan lulus dalam evaluasi pelatihan SJH dengan post test. Evaluasi dengan diagnostic model, sistem traceability berada di level bawah. Evaluasi implementasi SJH ditemukan belum ada bukti pelatihan halal eksternal. Usulan perbaikan diberikan agar PT. XYZ memberikan pelatihan SJH secara berkala kepada karyawan, meningkatkan sistem traceability agar berada di level sedang, dan berpartisipasi dalam pelatihan halal yang diselenggarakan oleh LPPOM MUI.

Abstract

The overall equipment effectiveness assessment (OEE) result on the rollwrap machine at Sugar Candy Co.Ltd reached 69.1%. This OEE result needs to meet the requirement of companies that apply OEE values above 72.5%. The Purpose of this research is to analyze the effectiveness of the roll wrap machine and identify the cause of its ineffectiveness of the machine. Besides, this study also uses a fuzzy inference system to classify the variables of downtime losses, frequency of speed losses, and OEE into linguistic variables to make it easier for operators to identify machine status. Improvement plan with a proposed quantitative approach using goal programming by minimizing deviational variables at low, medium, and high OEE status frequencies. The research results show that unscheduled machine maintenance reduces machine performance and is the main factor causing low machine availability. There were nine fuzzy rules for the machine OEE status inference process at high, medium, to low-status levels. Based on the calculation of goal programming, to achieve the OEE target above 80% within 30 working days, The OEE status must achieve the high level at least 20 times. The machine can achieve OEE with a moderate level eight times, and a low level occurs a maximum of two times.
