Abstract

Efikasi diri merupakan keyakinan individu untuk dapat bertahan dan mencapi tujuan tertentu. Efikasi diri dapat mempengaruhi usaha dan ketekunan mahasiswa dalam menyelesaikan tujuan belajarnya. Dalam konteks perguruan tinggi, salah satu indikasi dari keberhasilan tujuan belajar melalui nilai atau Indeks Prestasi Kumulatif (IPK) yang diperoleh mahasiswa. Selain itu, diperlukan faktor lain yaitu intelegensi individu yang merupakan faktor kognitif, mencakup kemampuan proses berpikir dalam mencari pemecahan masalah serta beradaptasi dengan lingkungan. Untuk mengukur intelegensi dalam penelitian ini menggunakan alat tes Intelegensi yang terstandart yaitu Culture Fair Intelligence Test (CFIT). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peranan efikasi diri dan intelegensi terhadap prestasi belajar pada mahasiswa. Partisipan dalam penelitian ini adalah 155 mahasiswa aktif di Universitas XYZ dengan rentang usia 18 – 21 tahun. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa adanya pengaruh efikasi diri dan intelegensi sebesar 12,4% terhadap prestasi belajar mahasiswa (R=.352, = .124).

Abstract

Tahun pertama bagi mahasiswa merupakan masa transisi yang kompleks, selain itu di masa pandemi Covid-19 juga terdapat berbagai kendala akibat pembelajaran jarak jauh (PJJ). Mahasiswa yang tidak mampu menghadapi tantangan dan kendala tersebut berpotensi mengalami stres akademik yang dapat berdampak secara negatif bagi mereka. Mahasiswa tahun pertama memerlukan keyakinan yang kuat pada kemampuan yang dimiliki agar mereka mampu mengelola dan memaksimalkan potensinya untuk menghadapi tantangan transisi dan kendala PJJ. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh self-efficacy terhadap stres akademik mahasiswa tahun pertama di masa pandemi. Penelitian ini diikuti oleh 274 mahasiswa tahun pertama dari berbagai perguruan tinggi dengan rentang usia 18-21 tahun. Self-efficacy dalam penelitian ini diukur menggunakan skala Self-efficacy, sedangkan stres akademik diukur menggunakan alat ukur Stressor Scale for College Student. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh signifikan self-efficacy terhadap stres akademik mahasiswa tahun pertama di masa pandemi Covid-19 sebesar 13,6%.

Abstract

This Community Service Activity (PKM) aims to enhance the teaching quality of Sunday school teachers at The Grace Pakuan Yogyakarta through psychoeducation focused on understanding child development. Recognizing the need for information on teaching methods that consider developmental stages, the Faculty of Psychology at UPH initiated an educational program addressing developmental stages and specific cases encountered by Sunday school teachers. The program includes a series of workshops and training sessions designed to equip teachers with knowledge of child development and effective teaching techniques. By understanding cognitive, emotional, and social developmental stages, teachers are expected to create more engaging, supportive, and effective learning environments. The psychoeducation program includes both pre-test and post-test evaluations to measure changes in teachers' knowledge about child development. Evaluations reveal significant improvements in understanding the developmental stages of Sunday school children and children with special needs. These findings suggest that the psychoeducation program can be extended to include training for new teachers to help them comprehend child development stages and develop teaching methods that are easily understood by Sunday school children. Additionally, there is a need for continuous programs aimed at creating inclusive and effective Sunday school environments within the church.

Abstract

SMA X, located in Yogyakarta, is committed to providing quality education to its students, the majority of whom come from outside Java, particularly from Eastern Indonesia. In addition to its educational responsibilities, SMA X faces challenges such as students from broken homes, economic and social issues, and a lack of teachers skilled in counseling and handling students with personal issues. These challenges negatively impact students' academic performance. The Community Service Team conducted teachers training on self-regulated learning teaching strategies and basic counseling focusing on emotion regulation strategies. Workshops, group discussions, and practical exercises were employed during the training, and significantly improving teachers' cognitive understanding, with average scores increasing from 46.9 to 70.3. Behaviorally, some teachers began implementing strategies such as offering task choices to enhance student motivation and teaching students to plan and monitor their task completion processes. Continuous evaluation and mentoring are ongoing to ensure the optimal implementation of the training material. Additionally, SMA X has been designated as a mentored school to more effectively address its challenges.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the influence of anxiety on academic procrastination across university students in Indonesia, measuring both state and trait anxiety. The research used a quantitative approach with correlational design. A total of 559 university students in Indonesia participated in this study. The measurement tools employed were the STAI-5 for anxiety and the PASS for academic procrastination. Data analysis using multiple linear regression tests showed a significant influence of anxiety on academic procrastination, accounting for 14.1% of the variance. A significant positive relationship was found between state anxiety and academic procrastination. Additionally, this study identified a significant positive relationship between trait anxiety and academic procrastination. This study found that female university students had higher levels of both state anxiety and trait anxiety compared to male university students. Additionally, the research discovered that university students who participated in organizations tend to have lower levels of academic procrastination than those who did not. Furthermore, academic procrastination was significantly different when analyzed by academic year.

Abstract

Kematian suami mendorong istri untuk mengambil peran ganda dalam keluarga, sehingga menyebabkan munculnya berbagai tantangan yang dihadapi oleh ibu tunggal karena harus menghidupi keluarga seorang diri. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap kontribusi kebersyukuran dan regulasi emosi terhadap resiliensi ibu tunggal. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan purposive sampling. Responden penelitian terdiri dari 143 ibu tunggal berusia 30–60 tahun yang telah ditinggal suami karena kematian selama minimal dua tahun. Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan skala Connor Davidson Resilience Scale (CD-RISC) 25, Emotion Regulation Questionnaire (ERQ), dan Gratitude Questionnaire (GQ-6). Hasil penelitian yang dianalisis menggunakan JASP dan SPSS menunjukkan bahwa kebersyukuran dan regulasi emosi secara simultan signifikan memprediksi resiliensi ibu tunggal sebesar 23,6 persen (R²=0,236, F=14,338, p<0,001). Kebersyukuran memprediksi resiliensi sebesar 13,1 persen, sementara regulasi emosi sebesar 15,9 persen. Secara khusus, dimensi regulasi emosi cognitive reappraisal memberikan kontribusi signifikan sebesar 15,7 persen dan expressive suppression sebesar 5,2 persen. Temuan ini menekankan pentingnya kebersyukuran dan regulasi emosi dalam membentuk resiliensi ibu tunggal.
