Abstract

Saat siswa mengerjakan soal yang diberikan oleh guru didapati bahwa mereka masih belum mampu mengerjakan setiap soal dengan baik, ini berhubungan dengan kemampuan literasi matematika mereka yang masih tergolong rendah. Permasalahan inilah yang melatarbelakangi penelitian ini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis sejauh mana kemampuan literasi matematika siswa ditinjau dari penggunaan soal matematika tipe HOTS. Pendekatan kuantitatif deskripsi adalah jenis/metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah 4 siswa SMAK 7 Penabur Jakarta kelas XI MIA 1. Data penelitian dianalisis menggunakan beberapa tahapan yaitu tes tertulis setelah itu dilakukan wawancara untuk mengkonfirmasi hasil tes tertulis dan diakhiri dengan pemberian skor untuk keterampilan literasi matematika siswa. Kesimpulan yang didapat dari peneltian ini yaitu kemampuan literasi matematika siswa ditinjau dari soal-soal matematika tipe HOTS sudah cukup baik, dilihat dari 4 aspek yang dinilai yaitu aspek pemahaman, aspek representasi, aspek analisis dan aspek komunikasi. Oleh karena itu, siswa perlu dilatih kembali agar membantu siswa dalam meningkatkan kemampuan literasi matematika mereka, khususnya yang menggunakan soal matematika tipe HOTS.

Abstract

Based on the results of observations and interviews that have been conducted at SMP Negeri 1 Tondano, information was obtained that the learning process is still using the direct learning model. Where learning is only centered on the teacher, so students are less active in learning mathematics.This causes students to have grades that are standard or below average. This cen be seen from the average score of students, which is 67.5, while the Minimum Completeness Criteria (KKM) set in schools is 75. The purpose of this study is to determine whether the learning outcomes of students who use the cooperative learning model of the student teams achievement division type are higher from student learning outcomes using direct learning models on circle material. The experimental design used in this study was a posstest control group design. the sample of this study was class VIIIC as the experimental class with 28 students and class VIIIB as the control class with 29 students at SMP Negeri 1 Tondano. Data obtained from student learning outcomes tests. With the average student learning outcomes in the experimental class was 81.64 and the average student learning outcomes in the control class was 72.85. analysis of the data using the t-test with a value of then reject and accept . The results of the study concluded that student learning outcomes taught by cooperative learning model type student teams achievement division were higher than student learning outcomes taught using direct learning models, so that they were well applied to the process of learning activities.

Abstract

The lack of use of technology makes learning monotonous as well as the packaging of teaching materials that are less attractive makes students bored to learn mathematics so that solutions are needed to create or develop teaching materials in which the teaching materials are packaged attractively and help mathematics learning activities. The purpose of this research is to develop matrix teaching materials by utilizing or using professional flip pdfs and to determine the quality of teaching materials from the aspects of validity, practicality, and effectiveness of the developed teaching materials. Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE development model used in this study. The percentage of validity of the assessment by expert I 83%, expert II 95%, expert III 92% where the results are in the valid and very valid criteria. The practicality of the matrix teaching materials based on the average student response is 89% with very practical criteria, while the teacher's response on the presentation results is 92% with very practical criteria. The effectiveness of matrix teaching materials based on student learning outcomes tests with a mastery percentage of 82.85% is in the very effective criteria. So, the conclusion is that the matrix material teaching materials developed are valid, practical and effective for use in the learning process.

Abstract

Penelitian ini berfokus pada ekperimentasi model blended learning pada materi sistem persamaan linear dua variabel. Penelitian ini membandingkan rata-rata hasil belajar siswa yang diajarkan dengan model blended learning dan model pembelajaran langsung. Populasi adalah seluruh kelas VIII SMP Negeri 2 Tondano, dan sampel yang menjadi subjek penelitian adalah kelas VIIIA (Kelas Eksperimen) dan kelas VIIIB (Kelas Kontrol). Metode yang digunakan adalah model eksperimen semu dengan desain Randomized Subjects Posttest Only Control Group Design. Hasil analisis Uji-t mendapatkan thitung = 2,67 > ttabel = 1,68 dengan taraf nyata α = 0.05. Hal ini berarti H1 diterima dan H0 ditolak. Kesimpulan nyang didapat adalah penggunaan model blended learning berpengaruh positif terhadap hasil belajar siswa.

Abstract

Model pembelajaran PIMCA dapat memicu peserta didik untuk mengkonstruksi konsep dengan benar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana peningkatan rata-rata hasil belajar peseta didik pada pembelajaran pemrograman komputer dasar pada materi looping dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran PIMCA. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian campuran khususnya embedded design dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui tes dan studi dokumentasi. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Jurusan Pendidikan Matematika Universitas Negeri Manado dengan subjek penelitian sebanyak 24 orang mahasiswa. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, perhitungan hasil pretest dan posttest peserta didik menunjukkan peningkatan dari 9,58 menjadi 65,38 dari skala 0-100 dan skor n-gain diperoleh peningkatan rata-rata hasil belajar sebesar 62,13% dan rata-rata persentase peningkatan pemahaman konsep sebesar 83,86%. Peserta didik masih mengalami kesalahan sintaks pada code yang dibuat pada tugas proyek, namun sebanyak 83,3% subjek penelitian tidak memiliki masalah dalam memahami semantik, oleh karena itu pengajar harus lebih fokus dalam memahami sintaks.

Abstract

Online learning has several challenges such as the internet connection as well as convoluted explanations of math problems which oftentimes affect the capability of teacher to deliver the material optimally. For teachers, weaknesses and potential threats that have been mentioned then become a problem in finding solutions to maintain strengths and opportunities. Thus, the utilization of SWOT analysis was intended to identify all aspects of the application of courageous learning carried out by SMA Negeri 1 Tomohon. The research was conducted to achieve specific objectives, to describe SWOT aspects in the implementation of online learning on math subject in the 11th science class of SMA Negeri 1 Tomohon. The qualitative descriptive method was adapted in this study. The results showed that the implementation of online learning in a SWOT perspective had a correlation with time, costs and economic conditions, unconducive situations, learning resources, and learning motivation as well

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik dengan menggunakan model PIMCA Berbasis Multiple-Representation pada Pembelajaran Materi Barisan dan Deret. Tahap-tahap pelaksanaan Model PIMCA Berbasis Multiple-Representation, yaitu Presentation, Idea Mapping, Conceptualization, dan Assesment Formative. Hasil data diperoleh baha rata-rata hasil belajar mahasiswa kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan rata-rata hasil belajar kelas kontrol, yaitu hasil selisih rata-rata kelas eksperimen, yaitu 56,25 sedangkan hasil rata-rata kelas kontrol, yaitu 29,9. Maka, dapat disimpulkan bahwa hasil data ini membuktikan bahwa Penggunaan Model PIMCA Berbasis Multiple-Representationpada Pembelajaran Materi Barisan dan Deret efektif dan tepat digunakan dalam pembelajaran untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar. Kata kunci : PIMCA, Multiple-Representation, Hasil Belajar.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the efficacy of learning from learning material on a system of two-variable linear equations (SPLDV) based on the learning outcomes of students at SMP Negeri 2 Kotamobagu. This research is descriptive in nature and employs a quantitative methodology. The participants in this research were Mathematics teachers and seventh-grade students at SMP Negeri 2 Kotamobagu for the academic year 2021/22. The purpose of this study is to determine the efficacy of risky learning on the mathematics topic of the two-variable linear equations (SPLDV) system. This research's data acquisition occurred in March 2021. Data on student learning outcomes and teacher and student responses to the implementation of courageous learning were included in this study. This study's data were collected via written examinations, questionnaires, and interviews. 1) the effectiveness of learning mathematics subject material on a system of two-variable linear equations (SPLDV) in terms of effective student learning outcomes and included in the very high effectiveness criteria with a percentage of 95%; 2) student responses to courageous learning of the mathematics subject system of two-variable linear equations (SPLDV) are excellent or practical with a percentage of 100% as well as responses from teachees.Effectiveness of courageous learning in mathematics

Abstract

This study aims to analyze students' errors in working on the System of Two Variable Linear Equations using the Newman procedure at SMP Negeri 1 Tondano. The research approach is a collective case study approach with a critical paradigm. Data was collected through interviews, written tests, observation, and documentation. In contrast, data analysis techniques include data reduction, presentation, and conclusion. The results obtained were (1) There was an error in the second stage of the Newman error procedure: students needed to understand all the questions the researcher gave. (2) In the Transformation section or the third stage in the Newman error procedure, students have not been able to convert the information obtained from the questions into a mathematical model (3) In the Process Skills section or the fourth stage, most students have not been able to work on the questions with good processing skills ( 4) then in the Answer Writing section there are primarily students who make mistakes when writing the final answer, where students do not write conclusions.

Abstract

Mathematics is a very important science because human activities generally use mathematics. Mathematics itself is a subject that is taught from elementary school to university. Based on observations made by researchers, most students were unable to understand mathematical concepts, this caused students to experience many difficulties and make mistakes in working on math problems. Besides that, many students experience difficulties when memorizing formulas in learning mathematics. The purpose of this study was to find out and analyze the difficulties and factors that cause students' difficulties in working on word problems on a system of two-variable linear equations. The type of research used is qualitative research. The approach to be used in this research is a descriptive approach. And the results of his research, the average student still has difficulty understanding the basic concepts of mathematics, difficulty understanding concepts, difficulties in solving and calculating steps. Because students still need more guidance and encouragement with students who still encounter many obstacles in solving story problems of a system of two-variable linear equations.
