Abstract

A study was conducted to analyze the functional groups in green synthesized (GS) Fe3O4 samples using Moringa Oleifera (MO) and black iron oxide (Fe3O4) nanoparticles using FTIR-Spectroscopy. Functional group analysis of the samples was carried out to ascertain whether there was any difference in the formation of MNPs from the use of MO, molecular bonds were observed using FTIR spectra. The presence of magnetite nanoparticle absorption peaks showed two vibrational bands in the range of wave numbers 596-642 cm-1, which correspond to the stretching vibrations of the M-O (metal-oxide) bond. The absorption around 578 cm-1 corresponds to stretching vibrations on the tetrahedral sites of the metal (Fetetra-O). The formation of GS-Fe3O4 is strongly confirmed by the presence of characteristics similar to conventional Fe3O4 in the range of wave numbers 1391, 1633 and 2318 cm-1, which represent stretching vibrations of C=O, N-H, C=O chemical bonds, and another absorption peak at wave number 3167 cm-1 corresponding to vibrations of O-H (hydroxyl) groups.

Abstract

This study describes how phase composition affects the ability of giant magnetoresistance (GMR) chip-based sensors to detect magnetic labels made of Fe3O4 and Fe3O4/chitosan that were synthesized using the co-precipitation method. X-ray diffraction (XRD) analysis revealed that the synthesized nanoparticles were a mixture of magnetite and maghemite phases. The most intense diffraction peak at 2θ = 35.6° (311) confirmed the presence of the magnetite phase. The addition of chitosan significantly increased the proportion of the maghemite phase from 10% to 25%, with the appearance of an additional peak at 2θ = 33° (221). The modification of Fe3O4 nanoparticles into Fe3O4/chitosan nanocomposites resulted in changes in sensor sensitivity. The GMR sensor successfully detected Fe3O4 and Fe3O4/chitosan magnetic labels within 30 seconds with high sensitivities of 0.746 and 0.761 mV/( g/mL), respectively. The limit of detection (LOD) was also very low at 0.419 and 0.428 g/mL. These findings show that Fe3O4/chitosan nanocomposites integrated GMR chip-based sensors can be a dependable instrument for detecting a variety of biomolecules such as Bovine serum albumin (BSA).

Abstract

Abstract: One of the factors causing low student learning outcomes is the teacher's inability to create exciting learning and appropriate teaching materials. Therefore, researchers developed teaching materials as inquiry-based learner worksheets with renewable energy materials. This research aims to determine the appropriateness of the learner worksheets being developed and their influence on improving students' critical thinking abilities. This research uses a development approach or Research and Development. The learning model is ADDIE. In the implementation stage, one group pretest-posttest experimental design was used. This research results in the learner worksheet being developed in printed form. The results of the quantitative data are the validator value for learner worksheets, with an average of 83.5%, which is a very feasible category. The results of the quantitative data analysis are average values with sig. 0.138 is normally distributed, the homogeneity value is 0.137, which is homogeneous, and the hypothesis value is 0.000, which means H0 is accepted and H1 is rejected. The N-gain value is 0.42 in the medium category. The analysis of student responses showed that 33% strongly agreed, 63% agreed, 3% disagreed, and 1% disagreed. So, it can be concluded that the learner worksheets are suitable for use and have an effect on improving students' critical thinking skills.Keywords: inquiry learning; learner worksheet. Abstrak: Faktor rendahnya hasil belajar siswa salah satunya disebabkan oleh ketidakmampuan seorang guru dalam menciptakan pembelajaran yang menarik serta bahan ajar yang tepat. Oleh karena itu, dikembangkan bahan ajar berupa LKPD berbasis inkuiri dengan materi energi terbarukan. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui tingkat kelayakan LKPD yang dikembangkan dan pengaruhnya terhadap peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan pengembangan Research and Development. Model pembelajaran yang digunakan yaitu ADDIE. Dalam tahap implementasi menggunakan desain eksperimen one group pretest-posttest design. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah LKPD yang dikembangkan berbentuk cetak. Hasil data kuantitatif yaitu nilai validator terhadap LKPD dengan rata-rata 83,5% dengan kategori sangat layak. Hasil analisis data kuantitatif berupa nilai normalitas dengan sig. 0,138 berdistribusi normal, nilai homogenitas 0,137 yang bersifat homogen, nilai hipotesis 0,000 yang berarti H0 diterima dan H1 ditolak, dan nilai N-gain 0,42 dengan kategori sedang. Hasil analisis respon siswa menyatakan 33% sangat setuju, 63% setuju, 3% kurang setuju, dan 1% tidak setuju. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa LKPD layak digunakan dan berpengaruh pada peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa.Kata kunci: LKPD; Pembelajaran Inkuiri; Energi Terbarukan

Abstract

The background behind this research is the low level of science literacy of Indonesian students, as shown by the PISA 2022 results. Environmental pollution is a socio-scientific phenomenon that often occurs and has not been resolved. Socio-scientific issue-based learning about environmental pollution can help students understand the environment and find scientific solutions to overcome these challenges. Creating a socio-scientific issues-based module on environmental pollution is one of the efforts to improve science literacy. The purpose of this research is to develop a socio-scientific issues-based module that can improve students' science literacy. The research method used was the research and development (R&D) method with the ADDIE development model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). A total of 34 Olympic X-class students were selected as research subjects through the application of the purposive sampling technique. The data collection instruments used were expert validation sheets, student response questionnaires, and science literacy tests (pre-test and post-test). Likert scale and n-gain analysis were used as data analysis techniques. Material and media experts assessed the feasibility of the module and gave an assessment of 83.21% and 86%, respectively, with a very valid category. The student response score of 82.63% was included in the very good category. The results of the trial use of the module on students give an n-gain value of 0.44 with a moderate improvement category. Thus, the socio-scientific issues-based module developed can improve students' science literacy.

Abstract

This research was conducted to find out the difficulties experienced by class XII students of SMA Muhammadiyah Serang City in understanding the concepts of momentum and impulse. This research uses a qualitative method with a population of class XII who have studied momentum and impulse material, then the sample is all students of class From the results of written tests and interview tests, it was found that the learning difficulties and lack of understanding of concepts experienced by students came from not paying attention when the material was given, as well as misperceptions when working on questions, and a lack of use of the correct formula equation for each quantity being calculated or searching for.

Abstract

Dalam penelitian ini, peneliti bereksperimen membuatan inovasi dalam meningkatkan mutu dan kuantitasnya dengan cara mengaplikasikan nanomaterial pada bidang pertanian. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan pertumbuhan tanaman cabai dengan mengaplikasikan nanomaterial C-dots pada bidang pertanian. Metode yang digunakan adalah eksperimental, dimana jenis metode yang digunakan yakni eksperimental murni (true experimental). Hasil eksperimen menunjukkan bahwa laju pertumbuhan tanaman cabai yang diberi larutan C-dot dengan konsentrasi 50 mg/L lebih optimal pertumbuhannya dibandingkan dengan pertumbuhan yang diperoleh dari konsentrasi C-dots lainnya yang digunakan. Abstract

Perubahan iklim merupakan salah satu isu global yang memerlukan pemahaman mendalam dan solusi berbasis sains. Pendidikan memiliki peran penting dalam membekali siswa dengan pengetahuan dan keterampilan untuk memahami dan menaggapi perubahan iklim. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan adanya bahan ajar yang terintegrasi Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) pada topik perubahan iklim. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kelayakan e-modul terintegrasi ESD pada topik perubahan iklim untuk memfasilitasi kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan model penelitian 4D (define, design, develop, dan dissaminate) yang dibatasi sampai tahan develop. Penelitian ini menghasilkan e-modul fisika terintegrasi ESD pada topik perubahan iklim untuk memfasilitasi kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa, yang dikategorikan sangat layak sesuai penilaian validator. Hasil validasi ahli materi memperoleh persentase 88,2% dengan kategori sangat layak, validasi ahli media memperoleh persentase 86,7% dengan kategori sangat layak, dan uji keterbacaan siswa memperoleh persentase 93,6% dengan kategori tinggi. Dengan demikian, e-modul fisika terintergrasi ESD pada topik perubahan iklim ini layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran.

Abstract

Pendidikan untuk Pembangunan Berkelanjutan berfokus pada penyebaran informasi, transformasi sikap, serta perubahan perilaku. Melalui berpikir kritis, ESD mendorong perubahan kebijakan dan praktik. Selain itu, ESD bertujuan memberdayakan individu agar siap menghadapi masa depan yang berkelanjutan. Penelitian ini menganalisis efektivitas e-modul terintegrasi ESD materi energi terbarukan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa. Metode penelitian yaitu kuasi eksperimen dengan desain pretest-posttest non-equivalent control group. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa SMAN 6 Pandeglang, kelas X.9 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan X.10 sebagai kelas kontrol, masing-masing 30 siswa. Instrumen penelitian berupa soal tes berpikir kritis dan angket respon siswa terhadap e-modul. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan perbedaan signifikan skor berpikir kritis siswa setelah belajar dengan e-modul. Hasil uji independent sample t-test nilai sig. (2-tailed) < 0,001 menunjukkan nilai lebih kecil dari 0,05. Ini menunjukkan e-modul terintegrasi ESD dapat meningkatkan berpikir kritis siswa dalam energi terbarukan. Hasil angket respon siswa terhadap e-modul memperoleh rata-rata di atas 80%, cukup baik dalam mendukung pembelajaran ESD.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the characteristics and feasibility of Physics Parameter Monitoring System (PPMs) media on Temperature Heat material to analyze the weather. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D) with the 4-D development model. The stages of the 4-D model consist of 4 stages, namely the define stage, design stage, develop stage, and disseminate stage. The subjects of this study consisted of an expert validation and a limited trial to 20 students who had not learned the material of Heat Temperature. The results of expert validation of teaching aids obtained a score of 87%. The results of expert validation of LKPD obtained a value of 82%. The assessment results from students as users amounted to 83.6%. The PPMs media on temperature and heat material that has been developed shows its suitability for use in learning.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the feasibility of developing a physics pocketbook mobile on Android (Phy-pockemon) to address scientific literacy skills in energy source material. The research method used is Research and Development (RD) with the ADDIE development model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). The result of the developed media is the Phy-Pckemon application. Through expert validation referring to the educational information and communication technology center, subject matter expert validation carried out by three validators obtained a percentage value of 95% with a very feasible category. Media expert validation received a percentage value of 94% with a possible category, while based on trials limited to the Technological Acceptance Model (TAM) evaluation, which was conducted on 20 class XII students at one of the Islamic senior high school in Indonesia, an average response percentage of 93% was obtained with a very decent category. The results show that using Phy-Pockemon to address scientific literacy skills in energy sources is appropriate for use in learning.
