Abstract

This study aims to analyze the prediction of the possibility of an auditor switching in property companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2017 based on the Public Accountant Firm’s size and management switching using a linear probability model. The data used are secondary data obtained from the financial statements of property companies. Property companies that meet the requirements in the study as a sample of 33 companies. To estimate the linear probability model using the ordinary least square method. The model that has been obtained was tested by t-test and F test. The results of the data analysis can be concluded that the model obtained can be used to predict the possibility of a property company auditor switching based on the predictor variable of Public Accountant Firm’s size and management switching with a predictive reliability level of 84.84%.  Keywords: linear probability model, auditor switching, Public Accountant Firm’s size, management switching, ordinary least square method.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of service quality dimensions consisting of credibility, responsiveness, courtesy and security on Gojek service user satisfaction. This is motivated by the tendency of changing consumer behavior in using transportation services from conventional to online. And this requires companies to provide quality service in accordance with changes in consumer behavior. The population in this study were students of the University of Surakarta who used Gojek services. The population size in this study cannot be known with certainty. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling method, with a total sample size of 100. The data analysis techniques used included the coefficient of determination (R2), multiple linear regression, F test and t test. The results showed R2 of 0.529, this means that 52.90% of Gojek service user satisfaction is explained by the dimensions of service quality consisting of credibility, responsiveness, courtesy, and security, while the remaining 47.10% is explained by other variables. The results of multiple regression analysis obtained the equation Y = 0.305X1 + 0.224 X2 + 0.123 X3 +0.239 X4. The results of the F test show that the value of F count ˃ F table (28.821 ˃ 2.467) and significance

Abstract

The effectiveness of good management can guarantee a maximum profit through sales and investment. Profitability is one of the tools to assess it. There are not many studies that highlight profitability as proxied by Return in Assets (ROA) and use independent variables in the form of Debt to Assets Ratio (DAR), Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), and Longterm Debt to Equity Ratio (LtDER). Some research about profitability proxied by ROA still showed different results among each other. The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of DAR, DER, and LtDER on ROA on food and beverage companies in Indonesia both partially and simultaneously. Data obtained from the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in the form of annual financial statements. The research sample included 36 time series data from 9 food and beverage companies during the period of 2016 to 2019. Data analysis using multiple linear regression, t-test, F test, and the coefficient of determination. The result of the study stated: 1) DAR has a negative significant effect on ROA, 2) DER has a negative effect but not significant on ROA, 3) LtDER has a significantly positive effect on ROA, 4) DAR, DER, and LtDER have significantly positive effect on ROA simultaneously. Those results illustrate that the higher ratio of DAR and DER will decrease ROA; on the contrary, the higher LtDER will increase ROA. Those results are important for stakeholders in their decision making process to maximize profits.

Abstract

The problem in this study is the many financial institutions that still use the flower or RIBA system. The purpose of this research is to encourage the management of financial institutions to implement sharia systems and avoid the RIBA system. This method of research uses quantitative research methods. Results of calculation of regression coefficient obtained thitung results from the marketing orientation variable of 4.287 and obtained the variable thitung results from the product innovation variable of2,235. Be The number of respondents in this study as much as 60. Based on result data manner SPSS data version 22.0 Fhitung price as big as 29,718. Because the value of Fcount 29.718 > Ftabel 2.77, it can be concluded that the hypothesis is acceptable. Therefore the marketing orientation (X1) and product innovation (X2) simultaneously affect the marketing strategy (Y).

Abstract

The aim of this community service is to identify the problems of the partner, Copper Crafts Muda Tama Gallery, Tumang, Boyolali and provide scientific solutions. The service team identified that the number of craftsmen was starting to decline due to the tendency of the younger generation to prefer to pursue business as marketers. The team uses the extension method to share knowledge with partner communities. Human Resources Management can be carried out in several ways apart from continuing to maintain good direction efforts at each stage of production, establishing controlled production procedures, evaluating employee work results, and developing employees in terms of reward and punishment; The service team proposed that the company collaborate with several vocational schools with a concentration in arts and crafts. This is important so that this skill does not become extinct, and in fact so that it can grow in terms of manufacturing and the number of craftsmen. The result of this activity is an increase in the understanding of partners (owners of Muda Tama Gallery) in managing human resources so that there is no shortage/loss of craftsmen. Abstract

The research objectives are based on the research of Bohnert, A., et al., 2023 and Nguyen, Lan, et al. 2021, namely to examine the impact of size and leverage on firm value with enterprise risk management (ERM) as mediation. The sample technique used is purposive sampling, and the data used is secondary data from annual financial report data listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2016-2020, totaling 15 property and real estate industry sectors. Path analysis and the Sobel test are used in the data analysis technique. The findings indicated that: (1) firm size has a negative and insignificant impact on ERM; (2) leverage has a positive and insignificant impact on ERM; (3) firm value is positively but insignificantly impacted by company size and leverage; and (4) ERM has a negative and insignificant impact on firm value. (5) The impact of firm size and leverage on firm value is not mediated by ERM

Abstract

Abstract The first activity carried out in this service activity was observation to determine problems in activities at PT Bali Moda Busana. Observations are only focused on the production department and some management staff. Based on the observations that have been made, it is found that the working environment at PT Bali Moda Busana, has the potential for physical hazards and the workers have not Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at work which allows work accidents. The expected results in service activities are that employees in the production department have more knowledge about Occupational Safety and Health (K3); acquire knowledge of identifying potential hazards in the workplace and preventive measures for work accidents; and gain knowledge about the types of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment). Based on the results of this service activity in the form of counseling, training and mentoring that has been carried out; employees of the production department, to acquire knowledge about Occupational Safety and Health (K3); acquire knowledge of identifying potential hazards in the workplace and preventive measures for work accidents; and gain knowledge about the types of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment), then implement it in daily work, as the motto of work “Savety 1st”  Kata Kunci:  K3, APD, karyawan
