Abstract

Motivation to learn can function as a driving force in achieving achievement. The approach used in this research is a quantitative approach. Researchers chose the type of experimental research. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the discussion learning method, parental attention and learning motivation on social studies learning outcomes of SDN Gugus Bumi Nickel Bohodopi Morowali Elementary School. The results of the analysis are 1). the results of the t test and reinforced by the results of the ANOVA test found that partially the use of the discussion method had an effect on student social studies learning outcomes. 2). the results of the t test and reinforced by the results of the Anava test found that partially parental attention influences student social studies learning outcomes. 3). the results of the t test and reinforced by the results of the Anava test found that partially student learning motivation influences student social studies learning outcomes. 4). ANOVA test shows that the use of the discussion method, student learning motivation, and parental attention influence student social studies learning outcomes together. The conclusion is that discussion learning methods, parental attention and learning motivation affect social studies learning outcomes of SDN Gugus Bumi Nickel Bohodopi Morowali students.

Abstract

Abstract:  In the springs in Sumberagung Village, Sumbermanjing Wetan District, there is an HCO3- content of 565.50 mg/l (Perdana, 2016). The dissolved HCO3- content in the karst springs makes the water unfit for daily use. So from this situation, it is necessary to have appropriate technology in an effort to minimize substances dissolved in water by filtering clean water so that it is more suitable for use by the community for household needs. Community service by using natural zeolite as a filter media has the following work procedures: 1) collecting water filter materials, 2) making an installation design framework, 3) compiling natural zeolite into the installation, 4) product trials, 5) making media posters or banners regarding the dangers of lime content for health, and also regarding the stages of making a water filter installation so that the general public can read it. The results obtained from community service activities are as follows: 1) fulfillment of water filter material in the form of natural zeolite, 2) arrangement of the installation design framework for water filter media, 3) arrangement of water filter material into the installation, 4) ready-to-use products, 5) media posters as a medium of socialization has been accepted by society.Abstrak: Pada mataair di Desa Sumberagung Kecamatan Sumbermanjing Wetan terdapat kandungan HCO3- sebesar 565,50 mg/l (Perdana, 2016). Kandungan HCO3- yang terlarut pada mataair karst tersebut membuat kondisi air kurang layak digunakan untuk keperluan sehari-hari. Sehingga dari situasi tersebut perlu adanya teknologi tepat guna sebagai upaya meminimalisir zat yang terlarut dalam air dengan melakukan penyaringan air bersih agar lebih layak digunakan oleh masyarakat untuk keperluan rumah tangga. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat dengan menggunakan zeolit alam sebagai media penyaring memiliki prosedur kerja sebagai berikut: 1) mengumpulkan bahan penyaring air, 2) membuat kerangka desain instalasi, 3) menyusun zeolit alam ke dalam instalasi, 4) uji coba produk, 5) pembuatan media poster atau spanduk mengenai bahaya kandungan kapur bagi kesehatan, dan juga mengenai tahapan pembuatan instalasi penyaring air agar bisa dibaca oleh masyarakat secara umum. Hasil yang diperoleh dari kegiatan pengabdian adalah sebagai berikut: 1) terpenuhinya bahan penyaring air berupa zeolit alam, 2) tersusunnya kerangka desain instalasi media penyaring air, 3) tersusunnya bahan penyaring air ke dalam instalasi, 4) produk siap digunakan, 5) media poster sebagai media sosialisasi telah diterima masyarakat.

Abstract

Gadungsari Village, Tirtoyudo District, has a fairly high coffee productivity. However, these conditions make the productivity of the coffee harvest sometimes not enough to meet the economic needs of the community. This research aims to achieve livelihood sustainability for coffee farmers using five assets by analyzing efforts or strategies that can improve livelihood sustainability. The research method used is quantitative descriptive analysis of the results of observational data and questionnaires. This study used a population of 235 Gadungsari Village coffee farmers with 70 farmers as the sample as respondents. The strategy produced in the research consists of three strategies, namely intensification and extensification, diversification strategy and migration strategy. The livelihood strategy carried out by farmers is highest, namely agriculture (53%), then farmers also depend on their livelihood by being traders and breeders (27%), and a small number of others have jobs outside the area by temporarily migrating (20%) . For the value of the livelihood asset level of the coffee farming community in Gadungsari Village, it includes human and social assets classified as low sustainability, while natural, physical and financial assets are classified as medium sustainability. Thus, efforts are needed to be able to maximize the quality of each livelihood asset for coffee farming communities in order to obtain a high level of sustainability, and achieve sustainable livelihoods for coffee farming communities. Abstrak Desa Gadungsari Kecamatan Tirtoyudo memiliki produktivitas kopi yang cukup tinggi. Namun kondisi tersebut membuat produktivitas hasil panen kopi terkadang tidak cukup untuk memenuhi kebutuhan ekonomi masyarakat. Adapun penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk tercapainnya keberlanjutan penghidupan bagi petani kopi menggunakan lima aset dengan menganalisis upaya ataupun strategi yang dapat meningkatkan keberlanjutan penghidupan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif kuantitatif dari hasil data observasi dan kuisioner. Penelitian ini menggunakan populasi petani kopi Desa Gadungsari sejumlah 235 orang dengan responden berjumlah 70 orang petani yang dijadikan sampel. Strategi yang dihasilkan pada penelitian terdiri atas tiga strategi yaitu intensifikasi dan ekstensifikasi, strategi diversifkasi serta strategi migrasi. Adapun strategi penghidupan yang dilakukan oleh petani yang paling tinggi yaitu pada pertanian (53%), kemudian para petani juga menggantungkan hidupnya dengan menjadi pedagang dan peternak (27%), dan sebagian kecil lainnya mempunyai pekerjaan diluar daerah dengan bermigrasi sementara sebanyak (20%). Untuk nilai tingkat aset penghidupan masyarakat petani kopi Desa Gadungsari meliputi aset manusia dan sosial tergolong pada keberlanjutan rendah, sedangkan pada aset alam, fisik, finansial tergolong pada keberlanjutan sedang. Maka, perlunya upaya untuk dapat meningkatkan kualitas setiap aset penghidupan masyarakat petani kopi secara maksimal agar memperoleh pada tingkat keberlanjutan tinggi, dan penghidupan berkelanjutan masyarakat petani kopi tercapai.

Abstract

This research aims to explore the relationship between human geography, culture and social identity in the context of globalization and will examine geographical factors. Cultural exchanges, migration flows, and the penetration of information technology have accelerated intercultural integration but have also created new challenges in maintaining local identity. The research method applied in this article involves literature study or literature analysis.This research involves techniques such as studying related literature, summarizing data, sorting data, and concluding the results. Through data analysis and field findings, it shows that geographical factors such as location, physical environment and social structure have a significant impact in shaping and changing culture and human social identity, globalization has become the dominant factor that shapes the dynamics of culture and social identity throughout the world. world. Globalization, as a process of global economic, social and cultural integration, has produced various complex impacts on human life. This research provides new insights in understanding social and cultural dynamics in the era of globalization. By understanding how human geography influences cultural interactions and the formation of social identities, policies can be designed that are more effective in managing cultural diversity and promoting inclusive social development.

Abstract

Indonesia, with its abundant cultural diversity, is fertile ground for understanding cultural heritage and local identity. From Aceh to Papua, every region in Indonesia exudes unique cultural richness. Indonesia has a rich tribal culture that is spread widely throughout the islands of this country so that the diversity of tribes and races in Indonesia has led to the formation of various cultures. This article is to provide a better insight into the richness of Indonesian culture and explore various efforts to preserve local identity that have been undertaken by the government, NGOs and civil society in Indonesia. The research methods used include collecting data, analyzing information, and compiling findings. The initial step in this research is to conduct a literature study on the topic being researched. Through searches in academic databases and other sources, relevant literature on cultural heritage, local identity and Indonesia will be collected. Journal articles, books, research reports, and online sources will be used to gain a comprehensive understanding of the topic. The results of this research highlight the importance of understanding and preserving cultural heritage and local identity in Indonesia. With concrete steps, such as empowering local communities and implementing supportive policies, Indonesia can maintain its extraordinary cultural wealth and strengthen local identity in facing the challenges of globalization and modernization. Cultural heritage and local identity have a very important role in shaping the social, cultural and political framework in Indonesia. Abundant cultural riches, ranging from art, music, dance, language, to traditional traditions, reflect the diversity and uniqueness of Indonesian society. Local identity plays a central role in forming community unity and strengthening solidarity and a sense of pride in local culture.

Abstract

Nahdlatul Ulama in Malang Regency, some of the people are engaged in home-based businesses and are farm Laboure’s. The first problem is semi-finished products that are sold or deposited to collectors so that the added value is low. The second problem is limited production capacity because the production process is done manually or relying on human labor, the third problem is not implementing good business management, not having financial reports, so business development analysis cannot be carried out. The solutions offered are product diversification, namely producing finished products, increasing production capacity by applying technology and digital technology; and the third solution is to increase business management knowledge and skills. The main activities to be carried out include 2 programs: the first is training and mentoring, the second is science and technology substitution. Training and mentoring include training and mentoring in financial management and marketing management. The aim is to provide knowledge and ability to apply simple financial management in the form of business cash flow and business turnover. In addition, target partners are given knowledge and skills about digital technology marketing to optimize their business for the Nahdlatul Ulama community in Malang Regency.

Abstract

Teachers are the spearhead in achieving national education goals. Teacher competence is needed in improving school-based quality. Schools can be qualified if the teachers are qualified. However, not all teachers are qualified, it still takes hard work to improve the quality of teachers. In addition to teacher competence, teacher motivation also influences school-based quality improvement. The research objectives are to analyze the simultaneous influence of competence, motivation, and work environment on the implementation of school-based quality improvement, the effect of competence on the implementation of school-based quality improvement, the influence of motivation on the implementation of School-Based Quality Improvement, and the influence of the work environment on the implementation of school-based quality improvement. school. The research method for the variables of competence, motivation, and work environment uses a questionnaire. As for the learning achievement variable, it uses the documentation of the value of the report card. The questionnaire was tested on 39 teachers using validity and reliability testing techniques. Hypothesis test using t-test for partial effect, and F-test for simultaneous effect. Data analysis used multiple linear regression formula with classical assumption test preceded. The results showed that: learning achievement was influenced by the variables of competence, motivation, and the work environment of elementary school teachers together significantly, competence could make a significant contribution to learning achievement, motivation could make a significant contribution to achievement, and the teacher's work environment SD can make a significant contribution to PMBS.

Abstract

Based on observations made by the author at SMA Negeri 6 Malang, it was found that the application and implementation of learning from the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (P5) in terms of the theme of Global Diversity using a project-based learning model for class X (Ten) students is seen as new, innovative and participatory . students are active in the learning process. So the authors are interested in conducting research. The purpose of this study was to determine the implementation of P5 on the theme of Global Diversity as the implementation of the Independent Curriculum and the implementation of P5 using a project-based learning model. The research method used is descriptive method with data collection tools in the form of documents, observations and interviews. The implementation of P5 as an implementation of the Independent Curriculum at SMA Negeri 6 Malang is a curriculum structure consisting of 2/3 intracurricular or face-to-face activities (KBM) and 1/3 co-curricular activities or P5 Projects. Designing the learning implementation of the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (P5) with the theme of Global Diversity using the Project Based Learning learning model. The stages in its implementation are the stages of socialization, planning, monitoring in the form of holding action activities, holding celebrations, evaluating and reflecting. Each stage carried out in the learning implementation of the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (P5) uses the syntax in PjBL. The teacher as a facilitator is in charge of assisting, directing and providing input and suggestions for project implementation so that students are expected to develop according to their talents and interests. The conclusion from the implementation of P5 students is expected to be able to develop Pancasila student profiles and become agents of social change who are actively involved in solving social problems that exist in society. So that it can maximize its role as an important part of society and the state.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan indeks kerentanan sosial ekonomi masyarakat di Kelurahan Buring pada tahun 2023. Menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif, pengumpulan data melalui pengisian kuesioner, wawancara, dan studi literatur. Populasi sebanyak 57 RT dengan sampel sebanyak 36 responden. Menggunakan teknik purposive sampling untuk pengambilan sampel. Analisis data menggunakan metode Analytical Hierarchy Proccess (AHP) dan metode Weight Overlay. Indikator kerenatanan sosial ekonomi yang digunakan adalah tingkat pendidikan, jumlah penduduk lansia dan anak-anak, rasio penduduk berdasarkan jenis kelamin, jenis pekerjaan, dan persentase rumah tangga miskin. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data diperoleh bobot prioritas sebesar 21%, 18%, 18%, 23%, dan 20% secara berurutan untuk masing-masing indikator. Nilai indeks kerentanan sosial ekonomi di RW 01, RW 03, RW 06, dan RW 09 adalah 1 yang berarti rendah. Sedangkan untuk RW 02, RW 04, RW 05, RW 07, RW 08, dan RW 10 diperoleh nilai indeks kerentanan sosial ekonomi yaitu 2 yang berarti sedang. Kata Kunci: Indeks Kerentanan; AHP; Weight Overlay

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of audio-visual learning media on the geography learning outcomes of tenth-grade students at SMA Negeri 6 Malang. The research employed a quasi-experimental method with a Nonequivalent Control Group Design, involving one experimental class (X-3) and one control class (X-4), each consisting of 35 students. The research instrument was an essay test comprising five questions that had been tested for validity, reliability, difficulty level, and discriminating power. Data were collected through essay tests, observation, and documentation, and analyzed using the t-test. The results showed a significant difference in learning outcomes between students taught using audio-visual media and those taught through conventional methods. The post-test average score of the experimental class was higher than that of the control class, with a greater gain score improvement. These findings demonstrate that audio-visual media can effectively enhance students’ motivation, engagement, and understanding of geography material, particularly in the topic of maps. The study suggests that teachers should optimally integrate audio-visual media into geography instruction to create engaging, interactive, and effective learning experiences that improve student achievement.
