Abstract

This study aims to: 1) To analyze the development of industrial sector GRDP, UMP, and the number of companies in Jambi Province. And 2) To analyze what factors influence the absorption of labor in the industrial sector in Jambi Province by using panel data regression analysis tools. Based on the development of the GRDP of the industrial sector and the provincial minimum wage, it continues to increase every year, as well as the variable number of companies that fluctuates every year. Based on the results of the F test, it can be concluded that the GRDP of the industrial sector, the provincial minimum wage, and the number of companies jointly have a significant effect on employment in the industrial sector because the probability is less than 0.001. Based on the results of the t-test, it can be concluded that the variables that affect employment in the industrial sector are the GRDP of the industrial sector and the number of companies because the probability is less than 0.05.  Keywords: Absorption of labor in the industrial sector, GDP, Provincial minimum wages and number of companies.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the development of exchange rates, net exports, FDI, and Indonesia's economic growth in 1998-2017 and to analyze the effect of exchange rates, net exports, and foreign investment (FDI) on Indonesia's economic growth in 1998-2017. used in this study is secondary data sourced from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS). The analytical tool used in this study is descriptive and quantitative analysis, namely by multiple linear regression. The research method used in this study is the "Ordinary Least Square (Ordinary Least Square) method. OLS). The test results using OLS show that together the variables of the exchange rate, net exports, and FDI have a significant effect on Indonesia's economic growth. While partially, the exchange rate has a positive and significant effect on Indonesia's economic growth. Meanwhile, net exports have a positive and significant impact on Indonesia's economic growth. Meanwhile, FDI has a positive and significant impact on Indonesia's economic growth. Keywords: Exchange rate, Net exports, Foreign investment, Economic growth.

Abstract

This research aims to find out and analyze the socio-economic characteristics of pulse kiosks and data packages and to find out and analyze the effect of capital. Product prices sold several credits, and sales volume on pulse and data package traders in Tungkal Ilir District, Tanjung Jabung Barat Regency.  The data used in this study is primary data. The analytical tool used is multiple linear regression. The results showed that the variables of capital, the price of products sold, the number of credit balances, and the volume of sales of data packages had a significant effect on the income variable of pulse traders and data packages. In contrast, partially, the variables of working capital and sales volume of data packages had a considerable effect. In comparison, the price of products sold and the number of credit balances do not significantly affect the income variable of pulse traders and package data in Tungkal Ilir District, Tanjung Jabung Barat Regency. Abstract

This study aims to analyze: 1) economic growth rate, the minimum wage of Jambi Province and the development of poverty in Jambi City; 2) the influence of economic growth and provincial minimum wage for poverty in Jambi City. The data used is secondary data, during the period 2001 - 2015. Data analysis tool using multiple linear regression methods in semilog form. Based on the analysis obtained results: 1) The average economic growth of Jambi during the period of 2001-2015 is 6.28 percent, the minimum wage growth of Jambi Province is 14.30 percent and the poor population growth in Jambi is 17.84 percent; 2) simultaneously economic growth and minimum wage of provinces have a significant effect on poverty in Jambi City, whereas partially significant variable to poverty is provincial minimum wage. Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis: 1) laju pertumbuhan ekonomi dan upah minimum provinsi di Kota Jambi; 2) perkembangan kemiskinan di Kota Jambi; 3) pengaruh pertumbuhan ekonomi dan upah minimum provinsi terhadap kemiskinan di Kota Jambi. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data sekunder selama periode Tahun 2001 - 2015. Alat analisis data dengan menggunakan metode regresi linier berganda dalam bentuk semilog. Berdasarkan hasil analisis diketahui bahwa: 1) Rata-rata pertumbuhan ekonomi Kota Jambi periode 2001-2015 sebesar 6,28 persen, pertumbuhan upah minimum Provinsi Jambi sebesar 14,30 persen dan pertumbuhan penduduk miskin sebesar 17,84 persen; 2) secara simultan pertumbuhan ekonomi dan upah minimum provinsi berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kemiskinan di Kota Jambi, sedangkan secara parsial variabel yang berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kemiskinan adalah upah minimum provinsi. Abstract

This study aims to analyze: 1) the development of domestic investment, foreign investment, and the economic growth rate of Jambi Province; 2) the influence of domestic investment and foreign investment on the economic growth of Jambi Province. The data used are secondary data from Jambi Province for the period of 2000 - 2015. Data is sourced from the Central Bureau of Statistics of Jambi Province. Data were analyzed descriptively and used multiple linear regression methods. The results of the study found that (1) the average growth of domestic investment in Jambi Province was 11.67 percent per year and foreign investment was 64.32 percent per year. During the analysis period, the average economic growth was 5.45 percent per year; (2) simultaneously and partially, domestic investment and foreign investment have a significant effect on economic growth in the economic growth of Jambi Province.

Abstract

This study aims to: 1) analyze inflationary developments, road infrastructure, government spending, provincial minimum wage, and economic growth provincial in Sumatra; 2) analyze the influence of road infrastructure, government spending, provincial minimum wage, and economic growth provincial in Sumatra. This research uses a descriptive analysis method to determine the development of each research variable and quantitative methods using panel data regression approach random effect. Based on the descriptive analysis of inflationary development, road infrastructure stagnated, government spending, provincial minimum wage, and economic growth was increased every year. The regression of panel data with random effect approach variable of the provincial minimum wage has a positive and significant influence on the inflation of provincial in Sumatra. While road infrastructure, government spending, economic growth have no significant effect on provincial inflation in Sumatra. Keywords: Inflation, Government spending, Economic growth.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze: 1) the characteristics of cinnamon syrup entrepreneurs; 2) factors affecting the production of cinnamon syrup and 3) the prospect of developing the cinnamon syrup industry in Kerinci Regency. The data used are primary data based on surveys of cinnamon syrup entrepreneurs. Data were analyzed descriptively, multiple regression analysis and SWOT analysis. The results of the study found: 1) The age of cinnamon syrup entrepreneurs is generally in the productive age. The education level of cinnamon syrup entrepreneurs is relatively good. More than half (60.00 percent) have high school education and above. The average income of cinnamon syrup entrepreneurs in Kerinci Regency is Rp. 22,833,333 per year; 2) The factors that significantly influence the production of cinnamon syrup in Kerinci Regency are raw materials and capital, while the workforce and the frequency of coaching do not have a significant effect; 3) Based on the SWOT analysis, the cinnamon syrup industry in Kerinci Regency has good prospects to develop

Abstract

The study aims to analyze the influence of the quality of human resources, employment opportunities and economic growth on the number of poor people in Sarolangun District. The data used in this study are secondary data, from 2002 to 2012. Data is sourced from the Central Bureau of Statistics of Jambi Province, the Sarolangun Regency Central Bureau of Statistics and the Regional Planning and Development Agency of Sarolangun Regency. The analysis tool used is a multiple linear regression method. The results showed that simultaneously the quality of human resources, employment opportunities, and economic growth had a significant effect on the number of poor people in Sarolangun District. Partially. employment and economic growth have a significant effect while the quality of human resources has no significant effect on the number of poor people

Abstract

This study aims to analyze: 1) The effect of economic growth, HDI, and Provincial minimum wage (PMW) on poverty levels in Merangin Regency. 2) The effect of economic growth, HDI, and PMW on the depth of poverty in Merangin Regency. 3) The effect of economic growth, HDI, and PMW on the severity of poverty in Merangin Regency. The data used are secondary data during the period 2002-2017. Data analysis tool using multiple linear regression method. Based on the results of the analysis, it is known that: 1) Simultaneously, economic growth, HDI, and PMW have a significant effect on the level, depth, and severity of poverty in Merangin Regency. 2) Partially economic growth has a significant effect on the level, depth, and severity of poverty in Merangin Regency, 3) HDI partially has a significant effect on the level, depth, and severity of poverty in Merangin Regency. 4) The PMW partially has a significant effect on the poverty level, but the PMW has no significant effect on the depth and severity of poverty in Merangin Regency. Abstract

This study aims to determine the economic value and analyze the effect of income and distance from houses to tourist objects on travel costs of the Depati VII Coffee & Resort Tourism Object in Sungai Penuh City. The population in this study were 5,724, 8,886, and 15,771 visitors in 2017,2018 and 2019. The sample in this study was 44 people, and accidental sampling was carried out, meaning anyone who happened to meet the researcher when collecting data. The method used in this research is descriptive and quantitative data collection, quantitative analysis using multiple linear regression based on a questionnaire, with the method of travel costs, it can be shown that the economic value of the Tourism Object of Depati VII Coffee & Resort is Rp. 1,225,884,089.18. In multiple linear regression, income has a significant effect, and the distance does not have a significant effect on travel costs to the Tourism Object of Depati VII Coffee & Resort while using the F test shows that income and distance affect travel costs to the Tourism Object of Depati VII Coffee & Resort.  Keywords: Tourism object of Depati VII Coffee & resort, Economic value, Travel cost method
