Abstract

The objectives of the research include 1) Knowing the results of implementing learning to design home clothing digitally with the help of Jobsheets for class XI students at SMKN 1 Jabon. This type of research is quantitative descriptive. This research was carried out at SMKN 1 Jabon in class digital. The results of the research show that the implementation of learning to apply Jobsheets for making digital home fashion designs using the Sketchbook application has been carried out very well with a score of 94%. Meanwhile, student learning outcomes are in accordance with the application of the Jobsheet. The learning outcomes of students who got a cognitive score were an average of 83, and a psychomotor score was an average of 80,5. The results of students' classical learning calculations obtained a result of 92% which was stated to be very effective and efficient regarding student competence.

Abstract

Stylization is a process of changing shape by looking at objects from various directions with stylization so as to create new motifs that are more varied and innovative without losing the characteristics of the source of the idea itself. Carica plants have contrasting colors between the leaves, fruit and stems. The large, shiny green leaves contrast with the bright yellow or orange fruit, making the carica plant look attractive and alluring to those who see it. This study aims to determine 1) the process of creating batik motifs using stylization techniques, 2) the results of stylized motifs applied to batik cloth. The method used is the Double Diamond Model which consists of 4 stages, namely: discover (find the uniqueness of the carica plant and the characteristics of the carica batik motif), define (summarize the findings in the form of a moodboard as the basis for making designs), develop (realize ideas by making stylized and batik designs by using the source of the idea of the carica plant), and deliver (production of carica motif batik cloth). This research resulted in 10 designs of carica batik motifs, and of the 10 designs, 1 design was selected which was embodied in the form of carica batik cloth.

Abstract

Daisies are often referred to as stars, have many types of colors that make anyone stunned to see them. With its beauty, daisies are used as a source of ideas for the creation of a collection of evening party dresses. This study aims to determine the process of creating an evening party dress design with the source of the daisy flower idea. This research method uses the Double Diamond Design Process, which is divided into 4 stages, including discover, which is an exploration of the theme discussed in this study, namely "daisies" in which the appearance of a star-like flower figure, strands of daisies are in the shape of a circle, ranging from round to shaped like a disc. . The results obtained from applying the source of ideas to a work in the form of a moodboard. The define stage, from the results of the moodboard then makes 10 design developments. The develop stage is the stage of choosing 2 designs to be realized according to the inspiration pictures that emerged from the source of ideas to be realized in the draping pattern technique using medium size on dressfoam. The deliver stage is the process of making the details of the daisy-shaped decoration taken from the shape of the daisy crown by cutting staples according to the pattern, pressed with a satin/organza cloth to make flower crown strands and finally decorated with sequins and arranging the lace on the dress that has been given sequins and stabbed tracks. The results of the research are the finished clothes using the drapping technique and the manufacture of decorative details according to the source of ideas that apply the design principles of the center of interest and proportions.

Abstract

Butterfly has a unique beauty, this unique beauty makes those who see it interested. The purpose of this research is to describe the process of making and finished dresses with the source of the idea, namely butterflies, using the laser cut technique. This research method uses a three stages design process approach or three stages of the design process. This method consists of 3 stages of research: problem definition and research, creative exploration and implementation. In the early stages of determining the design direction, namely making women's dresses with butterfly inspiration made for young women with the art of beat type. In the second stage, the researcher made a moodboard and developed 10 sketch designs for dresses in the form of one piece dresses. The two selected designs were created using construction and draping patterns. The implementation stage is by applying laser cut butterflies and ruffles as the center of interest in the party dress. The process of making a laser cut starts from preparing the leather jahard fabric that has been laser cut in the shape of a butterfly, then it is pinned according to the design. The result of the party dress is as expected, namely a dress that can fit the body properly for an art of beat type woman and applies laser cut decoration and ruffles certain parts that apply the center of interest design principle.

Abstract

Pada awal tahun 2020 hampir semua negara di dunia mengalami masa pandemi COVID-19 termasuk negara kita Indonesia sehingga pembelajaran dilakukan secara secara jarak jauh dari rumah mahasiswa masing-masing. Pembelajaran jarak jauh secara daring juga dialami pada program vokasi di Fakultas Teknik, Universitas Negeri Surabaya. Kepuasan belajar mahasiswa secara jarak jauh di evaluasi untuk perbaikan program selanjutnya. Tujuan penelitian dalam era COVID ini adalah untuk menguji faktor-faktor yang diprediksi dapat mempengaruhi kepuasan belajar jarak jauh secara daring mahasiswa vokasi di masa pandemi COVID-19. Kami melakukan penelitian survei untuk mengumpulkan data melalui kuesioner yang telah disusun dalam google form dan disebar melalui WAG. Pengambilan sample dilakukan secara convenience sampling pada mahasiswa program vokasi di Fakultas Teknik, Universitas Negeri Surabaya. Pada bulan Juli sampai Agustus 2020 dilakukan pengambilan data secara online, dan diperoleh 170 responden. Dalam penelitian ini data diananalisis secara kuantitatif menggunakan program SPSS. Dari sembilan faktor yang diprediksi  berpengaruh terhadap kepuasan belajar jarak jauh, hanya empat faktor terbukti secara signifikan berpengaruh terhadap kepuasan belajar jarak jauh yaitu sumber belajar elektronik yang baik (good e-resourches), konten pembelajaran (learning content), manfaaat yang dirasakan (perceived usefulness) dan interaksi antara pembelajar dan dosen (learner-instructor interaction). Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi terhadap baik terhadap pengelola pembelajaran maupun dosen.

Abstract

Sekolah menengah Kejuruan Tata Busana akan menghasilkan lulusan yang siap kerja. Guru-guru memiliki kompetensi yang sudah disetarakan dengan kompetensi di industry dengan jalan magang di industri. Dengan demikian guru-guru dapat memberikan materi sesuai dengan kompetensi yang ada di industri. Namun perkembangan fashion saat in berkembang dengan cepat, sehingga tidak semua materi yang ada di industri bisa diberikan di sekolah. Seperti wrap and drape. Berdasarkan kondisi tersebut perlu diadakan pelatihan wrap and drape bagi siswa dan guru. Adapun tujuan pelatihan adalah: 1) menambah keterampilan guru dan siswa dalam pembuatan wrap and drape 2) melatihkan pengembangan wrap and drape rok. Metode pelatihan menggunakan pembelajaran langsung. Peserta pelatihan sebanyak 20 orang. Evaluasi diadakan pada tahap awal, proses dan akhir. Hasil PKM menujukkan materi wrap and drape dapat dimasukkan dalam kurikulum Merdeka pada elemen sustainable fashion. Respon peserta pelatihan sangat baik. Masing-masing indikator pada angket pelatihan memiliki rata-rata sangat baik.

Abstract

The aim of the research is to find out the process of creating evening party clothing designs and the process of making them using the source of shoe flower ideas. This research method uses the Double Diamond Design Process, which is divided into 4 stages, including discover, define, develop, deliver. The discover stage is an exploration of the theme in the form of a moodboard featuring hibiscus flowers and evening party fashion designs. At the define stage, the resulting moodboard is then developed into 8 designs. The develop stage is choosing 2 designs to be realized according to the source of the idea using construction pattern and draping techniques. The design is realized using medium size dressfoam. The deliver stage is the process of making detailed shoe flower decorations which are taken from the shape of a flower crown by cutting the staples according to the pattern, pressing them with satin or organza fabric to make flower crown strands and decorating them with sequins and arranging the lace on the dress which has been given sequins and then stitching a trace. . The results of the research are party clothing using construction and draping techniques. making decorations using manipulating flower fabric and manipulating shasiko. Decorative details are applied according to design principles, namely center of interest and proportion.

Abstract

Haute couture-making techniques are critical competencies to be mastered by fashion engineering education (CEE) graduates. However, until now, many graduates have been unable to master these techniques optimally. Various studies and field phenomena confirm that they are unprepared for supporting knowledge (SK), socio-cultural, and psychological aspects. This phenomenon prompted us to measure practical learning readiness (PLR) in these three dimensions. In addition, we also examine the differences between dimensions and indicators and test the determination in constructing the PLR to determine the order of solving the problem. The survey was conducted on 386 CEE students with criteria who were currently studying haute couture (HC). The results of the descriptive analysis confirmed that psychological conditions (PC) and SK had a low level, while socio-cultural support had a high level. The results of the comparison test show that the three are generally similar, although there are notes in several indicators. Although all dimensions contribute significantly to constructing PLR, PC contribute the highest. This indicates that low PC are the first step to be addressed by CEE. Furthermore, several notes related to the decrease in knowledge-supporting practice are also the second effort that CEE must make to boost PLR in its students.

Abstract

The aim of the research is to find out the results of applying manipulating fabric creping to Evening Gowns and Accessories. Using organza and duces fabric as the main material. Inspired by the source of the idea taken. The process of applying manipulating fabric creping begins with determining the application of manipulating creping on the evening gown, after which the manipulating is made using marble binding and boiling techniques. The silhouette used in this clothing is the L silhouette, namely the shape of a wide mermaid dress at the bottom, and is equipped with accessories. The application of manipulating fabric creping is found on the sleeves, body of the clothing and accessories, giving a unique and boldly different impression. This research uses the double diamond model research method which has 4 stages, namely discover, define, develop, and deliver. The result of this research is the application of manipulating creping on evening gowns and accessories.

Abstract

Komunitas Pengajian di setiap Rukun Tentangga, Rukun Warga, Kelurahan, dan lebih luas lagi, semakin meningkat. Tujuannya adalah meningkatkan ketaqwaan terhadap Allah S.W.T. Selain itu untuk meningkatkan kerukunan setiap warga. Banyak manfaat adanya komunitas ini, yaitu: dapat bekerja sama membantu setiap warga yang mengalami musibah atau memperoleh kebahagiaan. Setiap warga saling mendukung dalam hal kebaikan. Komunitas pengajian Nurul Islam beranggotakan 60 orang. Komunitas tersebut memiliki banyak kegiatan: Pengajian rutin tiap bulan, santunan terhadap anak yatim, olahraga, rekreasi, mengikuti berbagai pelatihan yang diadakan oleh kelurahan, maupun pemkot. Pelatihan tersebut lebih mengarah pada bidang kuliner. Sedangkan pelatihan bidang fashion masih belum pernah ada, disebabkan tidak ada penawaran. Pelatihan wrap and drape adalah pelatihan menggunakan hijab yang praktis, tanpa banyak menggunakan jarum atau kemiti. Selain wrap and drape hijau, peserta akan dilatih juga membuat rok wrap and drape. Dua hal tersebut penting sekali untuk komunitas ibu-ibu pengajian. Hasil pelatihan selain dapat digunakan sendiri, juga bisa dibuat wirausaha menerima jasa memasang hijab dan membuat wrap and drape rok. Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan dengan materi pembuatan wrap and drape 4 desain rok sangat sesuai dengan jadwal waktu yang disediakan. Instruktur memberikan wateri step by step yang diikuti oleh peserta dengan baik, sehingga peserta dapat menyelesaikan rok hampir bersamaan. Pelatihan tersebut merupakan hal baru bagi peserta dan hasilnya dapat diterapkan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Berdasarkan hal tersebut peserta berminat untuk menerima jasa pembuatan rok wrap and drape. Dengan demikian dapat meningkatkan penghasilan ibu-ibu.
