Abstract

An engineering-to-order company has developed multi-spindle wheel nutrunner machines for automotive wheel mounting. The rotating shaft component that supports that machine has experienced compressive and twisting stress during operation, resulting in damage not only to the shaft but also some parts attached to the wheel. This study uses the house of quality (HOQ) and finite element method (FEM) approaches to redesign the rotary shaft to meet quality standards for its engineers, as customers, in a systematic way by using qualitative data from interviews, documents, and questionnaires provided by five rotary shaft engineering experts. Based on the importance levels of technical specifications obtained from the HOQ results, two rotary shaft redesign models for the redesigned models 1 and 2 obtain the maximum von Mises stress from the virtual testing using FEM analysis of 277.5 MPa and 111.8 MPa, respectively, which are below the company standard maximum yield strength of 470 MPa. Hence, using the company's minimum safety factor, the redesigned model 2 is chosen for the improved version of rotary shaft design.

Abstract

Climbing mountains in Indonesia requires careful preparation, especially in understanding safe hiking routes and related information. A hiking route information website serves as a practical solution for hikers to access data easily and quickly. This study compares the performance and SEO optimization between Laravel Blade and Laravel Inertia in the development of the muncak.id website, which provides information on mountain hiking routes. The performance indicator tested is execution time, measured using Laravel Dusk. One of the test results for the hiking route access feature shows that Laravel Inertia Vue.js has an average execution time of 1.56 seconds, which is faster compared to Laravel Blade, which reached 3.89 seconds. In terms of SEO, both websites show good quality with no issues found. However, there are still opportunities for improvement in some areas marked as warnings and opportunities. Overall, Laravel Inertia with Vue.js proves superior in performance and consistency, as well as more effective in SEO optimization, making it the better choice for developing informative websites.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This research is to find out the delivery procedures at PT. Li Fung Service Indonesia starting from receiving delivery orders (delivery orders), the process of preparing goods, the process of dispatch (loading), to receiving goods at the destination location and to find out the causes of delays in delivery at PT. Li Fung Service. Indonesia which includes the limited availability of fleets from vendors, government regulations, and natural conditions. This research is included in qualitative research that uses field research methods, namely research conducted in the realm of actual life. In this case the researchers conducted an analysis of the process of shipping goods carried out at PT. Li Fung Service Indonesia through observation and interviews. The results show that standard operating procedures for shipping goods at PT. Li Fung Service Indonesia include standard operating procedures for order processing, standard operating procedures for loading and dispatching, and standard operating procedures for domestic transportation that have been implemented in the field, but there are several steps that have not been carried out in accordance with it’s terms. With several standard operating procedures that have not been implemented in the field, this can become an obstacle in the delivery of goods at PT. Li Fung Service Indonesia, namely the cut off of receiving delivery orders exceeding the agreed limit, so a mutual agreement is needed between PT. Li Fung Service Indonesia and PT. Beiersdorf Indonesia. Keywords : Standard Operating Procedures, Goods Delivery ABSTRAK Penelitian ini untuk mengetahui prosedur pengiriman di PT. Li Fung Service Indonesia mulai dari penerimaan delivery order (perintah pengiriman) , proses penyiapan barang, proses dispatch (pemuatan), sampai dengan penerimaan barang di lokasi tujuan dan Untuk mengetahui penyebab keterlambatan pengiriman di PT. Li Fung Service Indonesia yang meliputi terbatasnya ketersediaan armada dari vendor, regulasi pemerintah, serta kondisi alam. Penelitian ini termasuk dalam penelitian kualitatif yang menggunakan metode penelitian lapangan yaitu yaitu penelitian yang dilakukan dalam ranah kehidupan yang sebenarnya. Dalam hal ini peneliti melakukan analisis terhadap proses pengiriman barang yang dilakukan di PT. Li Fung Service Indonesia melalui observasi dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, standar operasional prosedur pengiriman barang di PT. Li Fung Service Indonesia meliputi standar opersional prosedur order processing, standar operasional prosedur loading dan dispatch, dan standar operasional prosedur transportasi domestik sudah dijalankan di lapangan, namun ada beberapa langkah yang masih belum dijalankan sesuai dengan ketentuannya. Dengan adanya beberapa langkah standar operasional prosedur yang belum diterapkan dilapangan maka hal ini dapat menjadi kendala dalam pengiriman barang di PT. Li Fung Service Indonesia yaitu cut off penerimaan order pengiriman melebihi batas yang telah disepakati, sehingga diperlukan kesepakatan bersama antara PT. Li Fung Service Indonesia dan PT. Abstract

Rare earth elements are elements that widely used in many products. Rare earth elements nature are not found in a free state, but they are in the complex compounds, so that chemically processing is required to separate the Rare earth elements from their complex compounds. Monazite as by product of Bangka tin process contains several major elements, such as 0.298% uranium (U), 4.171% thorium (Th), 23.712% phosphat (P2O5) and 58.97% rare earth elements (REE) oxide. These elements can be individually separated through a process of precipitation stages. The separation process used in the study is the method of acid by using sulfat acid as reagen and filtrat digestion as feeds. The process of digestion dissolve the elements U, Th, RE and phosphate from the complex compound. Rare earth elements that are disolved can be separated from the complex compounds by using sulfat acid precipitation process. The objective of research is to set the optimal conditions for the Rare earth elements precipitation with sulfat acid. The result showed that the amount of sulphuric H2SO4 which added is 3.5 times volume of feed and precipitation time is 20 minutes, percentage of precipitation recovery is 61.21 % REE, 78.46 % U, and 93.56 % PO4.

Abstract

Tin smelting process produces waste in the form of large amount of slag II. Slag II still consist of major elements such as 0.0619% uranium, 0.530% thorium, 0.179% P2O5 and 6.194% RE total oxide. Based on that fact, the processing of slag II is interesting to be researched, particularly in separating uranium and thorium which contained in slag II. Uranium and thorium dissolved using acid reagent (H2SO4). Percentage recovery of uranium, thorium, phosphate and RE oxides by dissolution method are 98.52%, 83.16%, 97.22%, and 69.62% respectively. Dissolved uranium, thorium, phosphat, and RE were each precipitated. The factors which considerable affect the precipitation process are reagent, pH, temperature, and time. NH4OH is used as precipitation reagent, optimum condition are pH 4. Temperature and time reaction did not influence this reaction. Percentage recovery of this precipitation process at optimum condition are 93.84% uranium and 84.33% thorium.
