Abstract

Penelitian yang dilakukan bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media Busy Book Berbasis Kearifan Lokal dalam meningkatkan keterampilan membaca permulaan pada anak usia dini kelompok B di TK Negeri Pembina Merauke.  Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Research and development R&D dengan mengacu pada model 4D. Penelitian dilaksanakan di kelompok B TK Negeri Pembina Merauke. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara dan angket. Validasi dilakukan oleh ahli materi, ahli media dan guru. Media dikembangkan dan diuji cobakan kepada 17 anak kelompok B4 di TK Negeri Pembina Merauke. Penelitian ini menghasilkan sebuah produk berupa media Busy Book  bernuansa kearifan lokal papua sebagai media pembelajaran. Berdasarkan penilaian dari ahli materi diapatkan nilai  presentasi yaitu 93,18% dengan kategori sangat layak, penilaian ahli media mendapatkan presentasi 100% dengan kategori sangat layak, dan penilaian guru mendapatkan presentasi 95,00% dengan kategori sangat layak, penilaian kemampuan membaca permulaan mendapatkan presentasi 74,68% dengan kategori efektif, penilaian respon siswa mendapatkan presentasi 83,85% dengan kategori sangat efektif.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the implementation of the REACT strategy on critical thinking skills of SMA Negeri 4 Merauke students. This research was an experimental research design with pretest-posttest control group design, where the research was conducted, namely in SMA Negeri 4 Merauke. Hypothesis testing used homogeneity test. The implementation of the REACT strategy is seen through the acquisition of an average posttest score of 75.58 which was more than the average pretest score of 42.65 in the experimental class, with an increase in the moderate category of 0.5738 and based on a paired T-test sample with a sig value. (2-tailed) 0,000 <0.05 which means that there is a difference between the pretest and posttest, in other words the influence of the application of the use of REACT strategies to the critical thinking skills of SMA Negeri 4 Merauke students. Students' thinking skills are better in which students can solve critical thinking questions given in accordance with predetermined scoring indicators, students write what is known from the problems, students make mathematical models, students use strategies in solving problems and are able to make conclusions from solving the given problem. With the test results obtained by students almost weak on the average criteria of the analysis indicators.

Abstract

This research aims to see the increase in cognitive abilities in recognizing geometric shapes through the geometric Dakon game in early childhood group B at St. Mary’s Kindergarten Bernadetha. This research is descriptive qualitative research using the Classroom Action Research (PTK) method, which was carried out in one cycle of two meetings. Classroom action research is designed through planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The tools used in collecting data are student observation sheets, student worksheets, student activity sheets, and documentation results. The research subjects were children from group B class of St. Mark, totaling 16 children.The results of the research show that children's ability to recognize geometric shapes has a fairly good percentage. Before the action was carried out, the child's understanding of geometric shapes was still 0%. However, children's understanding experienced an increase seen in the first cycle of action at meeting I by 68.5% and increased to 81.25% at meeting II. The indicator for achieving success is at least 75% in the very good category.
