Abstract

The increase of timber consumption by the industry is not balanced with the supply of raw materials which is precisely reduced in number. One of the types of alternative plants that can be utilized is Nyawai. This research aims to determine the variation of growth and percent of life of each family, in order to provide recommendations of the best families that are able to adapt in a KHDTK Riam Kiwa environment. This research uses Nyawai plant in forest area with special purpose (KHDTK) Riam Kiwa is 27 months old with 9 families from 3 different Provenans namely South Kalimantan, East Kalimantan and central Kalimantan with a planting distance of 3 m x 3 m. Based on measurements obtained by the result of the highest lifetime survival percentage of 27 months Nyawai which averages 96%, the average height is 5, 539 m, the average diameter of 9.9 cm and the average bar straightness 4.45.

Abstract

This research is done to identify Pine tree damage in Banjarbaru’s urban forest, analyze the most founded damage causes in Pine tree at Banjarbaru’s urban forest and count Pine tree damage percentage. Method which used in this research is census with observing all Pine tree in Mentaos I Pine’s urban forest. Results that have been obtained in this research is the most found damage cause is weather which can make result in broken branch, meanwhile the most found damage type is open wounded at stem before branch. The most founded crown condition has percentage 30-39%. Percentage of damage frequency that has been obtained is 75.4% so that from all Pine trees which have been observed so many damaged well in big or small scale.Keywords: damage, frequency, percentage, Pine tree

Abstract

This study aims to: Finding and analyzing macroscopic mushroom types based on the type, substrate and abiotic parameters found at the observation point in Special Purpose Forest Areas (KHDTK) education and training ULM, for 3 months. The method used in this study is a direct survey in the field by exploring the area arboretum KHDTK education and training ULM. The results of this study note that the macroscopic fungal species found in this study were divided into 2 divisions, 6 classes, 9 orders and 17 families. Macroscopic fungi that were found consisted of Ascomycota and basidiomycota. There are 2 species of macroscopic fungi that are included in Ascomycota, the remaining 34 macroscopic fungal species were found, including the Basidiomycota division. Macroscopic fungi are known that 36 types of macroscopic fungi were found in (KHDTK) education and training ULM, most of the fungus that grows on the substrate of dead and living wood as many as 19 species for dead wood as many as 14 types and fungus that grows on live wood as many as 5 types, while on the ground there are 15 types and grow with 3 types of leaves.Keywords: Diversity, mushroom, substrate, Abiotic parameters

Abstract

This research aims to know the percentage of life on each treatment and to analyze the growth response of kayu putih (Melaleuca cajuputi) to the Various combination of Filicium sp. leaf litter compost and manure as seedling media. This research was held at Shadehouse Faculty of Forestry University of Lambung Mangkurat Banjarbaru, for 3 months. The data was analyzed using Completely Randomized  Design (CRD) with 4 treatments and 10 replications, so it gained 40 experiment units. The treatments were A =Top soil 100% as control, B = Top Soil + Filicium Leaf Litter Compost.  C =  Top Soil + Filicium Leaf Litter Compost + Cow Manure. D = Top Soil + Filicium Leaf Litter Compost + Goat Manure. The results showed that living percentage was 100%  for each treatment. The ANOVA shows there was non significant differences for all treatments and all growth parameters (increase in height and trunk diameter). Combination of seedlings media Top Soil + Filicium Leaf Litter Compost + Goat Manure (D) showed the best growth to all parameters (increase in height 17.6 cm and trunk diameter 1.03 mm). Goat manure in the media composition is able to increase the seedlings growth. Keywords: Growth; Kayu Putih; Filicium Litter Compost

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the effect of liquid compost fertilizer on growth of Samanea saman seedlings, some parameters of growth such as life percentage, height, number of leaves are measured and diameter increament. Is used in the research Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 4 treatments and 10 replications. Abstract

Some of the goals that exist in this research are to analyze how the effect of giving Rootone F, giving Rootmost and giving Bean Sprouts Extract to the growth response of stem cuttings in Pulai Rawa (Alstonia spatulata. Growth Regulatory Substances used in this study there are 3 types of treatments such as giving Rootone F as the first treatment, the second treatment is by giving rootmost and by giving Bean Sprouts Extract as the third treatment and in this study there is control as one of the comparison between the differences between Stem cuttings that use Growth Regulatory Substances with no provision of ZPT. In November 2019 until January 2020 this study took place in the shade house of the forestry faculty at Lambung Mangkurat University.  RAL (Completely Randomized Design) The method used in this study is to use with a set of 4 treatments that were repeated 20 times in each treatment, then there were 80 experimental units in this study.  The results obtained in this study showed the effect of various growth regulators which differed to the response of the growth of Pulai Rawa plant stem cuttings.  The provision of rootone F did not affect the growth response while the administration of Growth Regulator Substance Rootmost gave an effect on the response of root growth of Pulai Rawa cuttings (Alstonia spatulata) and by giving Bean Sprout Extract which had an influence on the growth in number of cuttings.Keywords : Growth regulators; Stem cuttings; Pulai Rawa

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of presenting mycorrhizae on the growth of eucalyptus plant (Melaleuca leucadendron Linn), to analyze the proper mycorrhizal dose for the growth of eucalyptus plant. This research was conducted in Cindai Alus Village, Martapura District, Banjar Regency, Kalimantan selatan. The implementation of this study took 4 months. The experimental design used was CRD (Completely Randomized Design) by giving mycorrhizae whit 5 treatments, each treatment with 20 replications, so that all of them had 100 experimental units.The results showed that the setetage of live eucalyptus plant seedlings in each treatment mycorrhizae was 100%. , and offered eucalyptus plant mycorrhizae had a very significant effect on increasing height, increasing the number of shoots, but not affecting the increase in diameter. The administration of 40 grams of mycorrhizae had the best effect on increasing height (9.55 cm), number of ban (11.75) and increasing diameter (0.493 mm). Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pengaruh pemberian mikoriza pada pertumbuhan kayu putih (Melaleuca leucadendron Linn), menganalisis dosis mikoriza yang tepat untuk pertumbuhan kayu putih. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Desa Cindai Alus, Kecamatan Martapura, Kabupaten Banjar, Kalimantan Selatan. Implementasi penelitian ini membutuhkan 4 bulan. Desain eksperimental yang digunakan adalah RAL (Rancangan Acak Lengkap) dengan pemberian mikoriza dan 5 perlakuan, masing-masing perlakuan dengan 20 ulangan, sehingga semuanya memiliki 100 unit percobaan, Hasil pengamatan menunjukkan bahwa persentase semai kayu putih hidup dalam setiap perlakuan pemberian mikoriza adalah 100%, dan pemberian mikoriza bibit kayu putih memiliki efek yang sangat signifikan terhadap peningkatan tinggi, peningkatan jumlah tunas, tetapi tidak mempengaruhi peningkatan diameter. Pemberian mikoriza sebanyak 40 gram memberikan efek terbaik pada peningkatan tinggi (9,55 cm), jumlah tunas (11, 75 bua) dan peningkatan diameter (0,493 mm).

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui hasil dari proses perlakuan berkecambah benih Akasia ( Acacia mangium Willd) dengan 4 (empat) cara perlakuan yaitu: Tanpa perlakuan (kontrol), perlakuan pencelupan selama 1 menit dalam air mendidih, perlakuan pencelupan dalam air mendidih selama 5 menit dan perlakuan perendaman selama 24 jam dalam air dingin. Manfaat penelitian ini adalah sebagai bahan informasi mengenai perlakuan pendahuluan benih akasia, agar dapat digunakan oleh masyarakat luas dalam hal efesiensi biaya, waktu dan memudahkan dalam pengaplikasian di lapangan. Persentase perkecambahan benih akasia dengan perlakuan pencelupan dalam air mendidih selama 1 menit menghasilkan nilai paling baik sebesar 76.5% dan persentase paling kecil benih tanpa perlakuan yaitu sebesar 13.5%. Kecepatan berkecambah yang paling tinggi adalah benih tanpa perlakuan yaitu sebesar 2.02 hari dan yang paling rendah adalah benih dengan perlakuan pencelupan dalam air mendidih selama 1 menit yaitu sebesar 9.27 hari. Nilai perkecambahan yang terbaik adalah nilai perkecambahan yang dihasilkan oleh benih dengan perlakuan pencelupan air mendidih selama 1 menit yaitu 2.23 % / hari, sedangkan yang paling rendah adalah benih tanpa perlakuan (perlakuan A) yaitu 0.082 % / hari. Benih dengan perlakuan pendahuluan pencelupan dalam air mendidih selama 1 menit (perlakuan B) adalah pilihan terbaik dalam kegiatan penelitian ini karena menghasilkan jumlah benih berkecambah yang terbanyak dibandingkan perlakuan lainnya.

Abstract

Banjarbaru is a such a town that has a dense citizen and nowadays this town becomes the most vehicle user that caused high pollution. Therefore, it is necessary to make a green strip in order to avoid pollution effect, yet nowadays an open green space is hard to find. The reason is because the awareness of health care for pollution trees decrease and it made the absorption of pollution air disturbed. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to clarify the diameter and the height based on the species of the trees on the green strip. The result of this research found that the total of trees’ species were 11 species of trees. The highest total of the species of trees (30,8%) in the diameter class of 10-29 cm, while the lowest total of the smallest trees (0,51%) in the diameter class of > 90 cm. (7,96%) on the class of 70-89 cm, (30-54%) on the class of 50-69 cm, (30-02%) on the class of 10-29 cm. Based on the highest total of trees on the green strip at Banjarbaru, it found that (47,25%) on the high class of (>12 m), (37,59%) on the medium class of (6-12 m), (15,14%) on the low class of (T < 6 m) .Keywords: Green Strip; Diameter; Height
