Abstract

This research aims to explore the influence of the work environment, emotional intelligence and compensation on employee job satisfaction with motivation as a moderator as well. This research uses the Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) method to analyse the relationship between research variables with the help of Smart PLS software. The saturated sampling method was used for research where the entire population of Buddhi College School employees was sampled as 157 respondents. The research results support the proposed hypothesis that the work environment, emotional intelligence, compensation and motivation have a positive and significant effect on employee job satisfaction.  Meanwhile, the research results show that the relationship between motivation and the influence of the work environment on job satisfaction has a positive and significant effect. Meanwhile, the relationship between motivation and the influence of emotional intelligence and compensation on job satisfaction has a negative and significant effect. Implications for organizations, if organizations want to increase job satisfaction, then organizations need to improve the work environment, emotional intelligence, compensation and motivation.

Abstract

This study investigates the impact of organizational culture, leadership style, and training on employee performance, with job satisfaction acting as a moderating variable. Utilizing the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) approach and Smart PLS software, the study analyzes the relationships between variables. A saturated sampling method was employed, involving all 157 employees of Buddhi College School as respondents. The findings confirm the proposed hypothesis, indicating that organizational culture, leadership style, training, and job satisfaction positively and significantly influence employee performance. However, job satisfaction moderates the relationship between organizational culture and employee performance negatively and significantly. Conversely, job satisfaction positively and significantly moderates the effects of leadership style and training on employee performance. These findings suggest that organizations aiming to enhance employee performance should focus on strengthening organizational culture, leadership effectiveness, training programs, and job satisfaction.

Abstract

Dalam era globalisasi yang kompetitif, efektivitas pengelolaan sumber daya manusia menjadi faktor kunci dalam meningkatkan kinerja organisasi. Studi ini ditujukan untuk menganalisis pengaruh beban kerja, stres kerja, dan motivasi kerja pada kinerja karyawan, dengan kepuasan kerja sebagai variabel mediasi. Studi dilakukan pada karyawan STAB Dharma Widya Tangerang dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner terstruktur yang diukur dengan Skala Likert dan dianalisis dengan Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) dengan 111 responden sebagai sampel. Hasil analisis outer model menunjukkan validitas dan reliabilitas konstruk yang memadai. Evaluasi inner model mengungkapkan bahwa beban kerja dan stres kerja berdampak signifikan pada kepuasan kerja, yang selanjutnya berdampak positif pada kinerja karyawan. Secara langsung, stres kerja berdampak positif pada kinerja, sedangkan beban kerja dan motivasi kerja menunjukkan pengaruh tidak langsung melalui kepuasan kerja. Model studi menunjukkan nilai R² sebesar 0,384 untuk kepuasan kerja dan 0,506 untuk kinerja karyawan, mengindikasikan kemampuan prediktif moderat. Nilai Q² yang diperoleh juga menunjukkan relevansi prediktif yang baik. Kesimpulannya, kepuasan kerja berperan penting dalam memediasi hubungan antara beban kerja, stres kerja, dan motivasi kerja pada kinerja karyawan. Organisasi perlu memperhatikan keseimbangan beban kerja, manajemen stres, serta strategi peningkatan motivasi untuk mendukung kepuasan dan kinerja karyawan secara berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Studi ini bertujuan menganalisis hubungan motivasi, pelatihan, dan budaya organisasi dengan kinerja guru SMK di Kota Tangerang, dengan kepuasan kerja sebagai variabel mediasi. Pendekatan kuantitatif digunakan dengan desain eksplanatori, melibatkan 160 responden guru SMK yang dipilih melalui purposive sampling. Instrumen penelitian berupa kuesioner skala Likert lima poin dengan indikator yang telah tervalidasi. Analisis data dilakukan melalui Partial Least Square–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) menggunakan SmartPLS. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa motivasi, pelatihan, budaya organisasi, dan kepuasan kerja berhubungan positif dengan kinerja guru. Budaya organisasi (β = 0,312; p < 0,001) dan kepuasan kerja (β = 0,324; p < 0,001) menjadi faktor dominan dalam peningkatan kinerja, sementara motivasi hanya berhubungan langsung dengan kinerja tanpa memengaruhi kepuasan kerja. Pelatihan berkontribusi signifikan baik secara langsung (β = 0,147; p = 0,008) maupun melalui kepuasan kerja (β = 0,086; p = 0,001). Temuan ini memperkuat literatur terdahulu yang menekankan pentingnya budaya organisasi dan pelatihan dalam pendidikan vokasi, sekaligus menunjukkan perbedaan pada peran motivasi. Secara praktis, hasil penelitian ini menyarankan perlunya penguatan budaya kerja, peningkatan kualitas pelatihan, serta penciptaan lingkungan yang mendukung kepuasan kerja guna meningkatkan kinerja guru SMK.

Abstract

Kinerja merujuk pada tingkat keberhasilan seseorang dalam menyelesaikan tugas yang diberikan kepadanya. Kompensasi menjadi salah satu kebutuhan utama seorang karyawan. Agar lingkungan kerja menjadi positif dan produktif, sebuah kompensasi harus merata dan sesuai. Tujuan dari studi ini untuk mengetahui bagaimana mencari pengaruh dari variabel dependen terhadap variabel independen. Jenis penelitian ini dilakukan secara statistik dan kuantitatif dengan menggunakan sistem SPSS. Hasil studi menyampaikan bahwa ada hubungan antara lingkungan kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan magang pada BCA BSD. Tidak adanya hubungan antara beban kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan magang pada BCA BSD. Ada hubungan antara kompensasi terhadap kinerja karyawan magang pada BCA BSD. Ada hubungan antara lingkungan kerja, beban kerja, dan kompensasi terhadap kinerja karyawan magang pada BCA BSD. F hitung untuk model didasarkan pada hasil uji ANOVA dan memang demikian 7,738 dengan tingkat signifikan 0,000 dimana angka 0,000 < 0,06 dan juga Fhitung > Ftabel atau 7,738 > 2,70 dengan demikian Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima Model analitik dapat dipraktekkan dan cocok untuk meramalkan kinerja pekerja magang jika terdapat interaksi simultan (bersama-sama) yang substansial antara faktor lingkungan kerja (X1), variabel beban kerja (X2), dan variabel kompensasi (X3) terhadap kinerja (Y) personel magang. Oleh karena itu, terdapat hubungan antara variabel terikat pegawai dengan variabel bebas.

Abstract

This study examines and analyzes the influence of cash on delivery, free shipping promos, on customer reviews with purchase decisions as an intervening variable. The purpose of this study is to find the influence of each variable. The research method used a quantitative approach with a sample of 115 respondents. The analysis tool uses Smart-PLS. The results of this study show that cash on delivery has an effect on customer reviews explaining that cash on delivery has an effect on customer reviews seen from the significance level of 0.015<0.05 which means H1 is accepted. Cashon delivery has an effect on purchase decisions based on the results processed that the cash on delivery variable affects purchase decisions with a significance value of 0.000<0.005. Therefore, it can be concluded that H2 is accepted. Customerreviews have an effect on purchase decisions based on the results of the study that customer reviews have a significance value of 0.033<0.05, therefore it can be concluded that H3 is accepted. The freeshipping promo affects customerreviews explaining that the free shipping promo affects customer reviews with a significance level of 0.000<0.05 which means H4 is received. Customer reviews and free shipping promos are things to consider when buying goods online. The freeshipping promo has an effect on purchase decisions based on research that is processed that the variable of free shipping promo with a significance value of 0.130>0.05 which means H5. Cashon delivery affects customer reviews through purchase decision variables as intervening variables, based on research that the cash on delivery variable on customer reviews with a significance value of 0.010 which means H6 is accepted. The free shipping promoaffects customer reviews through the purchase decision variable as an intervening variable, based on the research that the free shipping promo variable on customer reviews with a significance value of 0.040 which means that H7 is accepted.

Abstract

Indonesia has risen to 34th place globally in performance competitiveness, up from 44th the previous year, highlighting significant potential for improvement. To maintain and enhance this competitiveness, it is essential to focus on the factors influencing performance. Companies in Indonesia must effectively engage with their employees to foster a productive work environment. This study aims to examine the influence of work pressure, task complexity, and work motivation on employee performance, along with the moderating effect of resilience ability. Utilizing the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) method and Smart PLS software, the research analyzes data from a sample of 215 respondents, determined based on the Hair method. The findings indicate that work pressure has a direct impact on performance, as does task complexity, suggesting that both factors significantly influence employee outcomes. Additionally, resilience ability moderates the relationship between work pressure and performance, meaning that employees with higher resilience can better cope with job pressures, ultimately enhancing their performance. However, the study found that resilience ability does not significantly moderate the relationships between task complexity and performance, nor between work motivation and employee performance. This indicates that while resilience plays a crucial role in handling work pressure, it may not affect the other dimensions as strongly. The implications of these findings suggest that companies should focus on balancing work pressure and reducing unnecessary task complexity. Additionally, enhancing work motivation is vital for improving overall employee performance. By creating a supportive environment that reduces pressure and complexity while fostering motivation, companies can cultivate a more effective and resilient workforce, contributing to the overall enhancement of Indonesia's global competitiveness.

Abstract

This study is motivated by the frequent job-hopping behavior of Generation Z. Several surveys indicate that Gen Z tends to change jobs due to salary, opportunities for growth, and work environment. The aim of this research is to analyze the influence of compensation, career advancement, and work environment on the loyalty of Generation Z employees in Tangerang City, with job satisfaction as a mediating variable. This research employs a quantitative approach using the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) method. The sample consists of 187 respondents aged 15–27 years who work across various industry sectors in Tangerang City and were selected using purposive sampling. The results show that each independent variablecompensation, career advancement, and work environment has a significant effect on both loyalty and job satisfaction. Job satisfaction also has a significant influence on employee loyalty. However, job satisfaction does not mediate the influence of compensation, career advancement, and work environment on loyalty. This study highlights the importance of improving compensation packages, providing clear career paths, and fostering a supportive work environment to enhance the loyalty of Generation Z employees in Tangerang City. Future research is expected to explore other variables not measured in this study and to select respondents with experience in specific industry backgrounds.

Abstract

MSMEs play a crucial role in Indonesia’s economy but still face challenges related to human resource quality, such as experience, competence, and compensation, which affect employee performance. This study examines the influence of experience, competence, and compensation on the performance of MSME workers in Pasar Lama Tangerang, with motivation as a mediating variable. Using a quantitative causal research approach, data were collected through a Likert-scale questionnaire from 300 respondents with diverse backgrounds, and analyzed using SEM with SmartPLS. The results show that all variables have T-statistics above 1.96 and P-values below 0.05. Experience, competence, and compensation significantly and positively impact performance, both directly and through motivation as a mediator. The study suggests improving competency training, offering fair compensation, and managing work experience to enhance worker performance. Future research is encouraged to explore additional variables.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine how tax avoidance is impacted by managerial ownership, independent commissioners, audit committees, CEO Compesation, and foreign ownership. This study employed a quantitative methodology using secondary data from corporate financial statements and annual reports. Purposive sampling was used to choose 180 firms that were listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange between 2020-2025. Panel data regression was the method utilized for data analysis. The study's partial findings show that independent commissioners have a considerable negative impact on tax avoidance, whereas management ownership and foreign ownership have a significant beneficial impact. In the meanwhile, tax evasion is not much impacted by audit committees or CEO compensation. Concurrently, tax evasion is not significantly impacted by any of the independent variables. According to the coefficient of determination, 32.49% of the dependent variable may be explained by the research model, with other factors influencing the remaining portion. When making judgments about corporate tax policy, investors, management, and regulators may take ownership structure and corporate governance systems into account. This study suggests that these factors have an impact on tax avoidance techniques.
