Abstract

This study aims to implement promotional and marketing strategies using social media for UMKM Omer Prata & Teh Tarek through social media, namely Instagram by creating attractive promotional content and creating accounts on the online ordering application, namely Go-Food. The implementation aims to provide solutions to increase sales and revenue, reach more new customers and make it easier for customers to place orders online. Data collection in this study used 3 techniques namely observation, interviews, and documentation. The results obtained are that Omer Prata & Teh Tarek are better known by new potential customers and get an increase in orders and revenue. This can be a recommendation for further research in order to increase the creation of interesting content on social media for promotion and marketing strategies in terms of increasing sales and revenue.

Abstract

Rasa 244 is a business that was established since 2001 by Mr. Akun. There are various dishes in this Mr. Akun, namely capcay, special fried noodles, special fried kwetiau, special fried rice, and others with a 100% halal label. The method used to find out the problems that occur in Rasa 244 is the observation and interview method, so the problems that occur in Rasa 244 belonging to Mr. Akun are the lack of digital marketing strategies and promotion mix Rasa 244 is still not well-known by the public. Based on the problems that occur, the next step is to design using a digital marketing strategy and the application of a promotion mix, namely by creating a social media account in the form of Instagram as a direct marketing medium, doing advertising on Instagram so that the surrounding community can get to know Rasa 244 with affordable dishes, create a menu list and brochures that are as attractive as possible so that old and new customers can find out about additions and changes to the menu and prices contained in this Rasa 244 and the distribution of brochures to the surrounding community as a public relations.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisa faktor-faktor yang dapat mempengaruhi loyalitas karyawan di perusahaam sparepart alat berat yang ada di Kota Batam. Adapun variabel indpenden yang digunakan yaitu compensation, work-life balance, career development, workload dan work environment. Sementara variabel dependen yang digunakan yaitu employee loyalty dengan job satisfaction sebagai variabel mediasi. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan yaitu dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan menggunakan data primer yang didapatkan melalui penyebaran kuesioner melalui google form. Teknik purposive sampling merupakan metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini dengan jumlah responden sebanyak 311 orang dimana merupakan karyawan di 9 perusahaan sparepart alat bereat dan lori yang ada di Kota Batam. Data kemudian dianalisis dengan menggunakan metode Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) PLS dengan aplikasi SmartPLS versi 3.0 untuk dapat menjelaskan keterkaitan yang terjadi diantara variable yang berhubungan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa compensation, workload dan work environment memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap employee loyalty. Work-life balance dan career development tidak memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap employee loyalty. Job satisfaction diketahui mampu memediasi hubungan antara compensation terhadap employee loyalty dan work environment terhadap employee loyalty. Job satisfaction juga memiliki hubungan dan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap employee loyalty.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of learning and development, career management, talent attraction, talent development, talent retention and employee recognition on employee performance. This research is motivated by the decrease in the number of tourist visits that occurred due to the pandemic which had an impact on the ups and downs of employee performance at 4-star hotels in Batam City. This study uses a population of 4-star hotels in Batam City with samples of employees who work at Pacific Palace, Traveloge (Novotel), Planet Holiday and Swiss-Belhotel hotels. This study uses quantitative methods and non-probability sampling techniques through a purposive sampling method involving 285 respondents. The results showed that learning and development, career management, talent interest, talent development, talent retention, and employee recognition have a significant positive influence on employee performance.Keywords:learning and development, career management, talent attraction, talent development, talent retention, employee recognition, employee performance

Abstract

My Indothai Spa & Massage was formed in 1999 by Gideon Septianto Hidayat, the owner. My Indothai Spa & Massage is domiciled at Komp Penuin Center Blok K No 2-3-4, Batu Selicin, Kec. Lubuk Baja, Batam City. This business is engaged in services, which offers various types of massage and spa services for body relaxation. The purpose of this practical work is to assist MSMEs in preparing and forming forms for employees. The scope of this project is to design or develop a performance management system (HR) at My Indothai Spa & Massage as a source of information, recording and assessment of human resources. Data collection techniques used are interviews and observation. The result is the creation of organizational structures, attendance forms, leave forms, permit forms, training & development forms, attendance forms, performance appraisal forms, skills matrix and forms for filling in data regarding human resources using MS Excel.

Abstract

This study investigates the influence of organizational culture on the performance of officials in Batam City. Factors such as competence, innovation, knowledge sharing, and organizational culture are analyzed in relation to staff performance. The study uses a quantitative approach to data collection through questionnaires. Analysis results show a positive relationship between competence, innovation, knowledge sharing, and organizational culture with staff performance. The recommendation of this study is that governments should provide an integrated learning platform and training that fits the positions of staff to improve their performance.

Abstract

This study investigates the interplay between leadership styles, leader emotional intelligence, and trust in supervisors, focusing on their impact on individual job performance in Batam City's manufacturing sector. Structural equation modelling (SEM) was used in this study. The result of analysis shows that leader emotional intelligence exert a direct, significant, and positive influence on trust in supervisors. Additionally with trust in supervisors included as a mediator, transformational leadership demonstrate a positive influence on job performance. Although the results indicate that transactional leadership and leader emotional intelligence has no direct, significant and positive impact on job performance, trust in supervisors that was influenced by a leader's approach to leadership will empower and boost employee's morale, and indirectly have a positive influence on job performance. Overall, the research underscores the importance of cultivating the right style of leadership, emotional intelligence, and trust in supervisors relationships to foster better employee outcomes in the manufacturing industry.
