Abstract

AbstrakUpaya meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan salah satunya mengimplementasikan Manajemen Berbasis Sekolah. Perilaku kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dan peran komite sekolah merupakan dua faktor yang ikut berkontribusi terhadap keberhasilan pengimplementasian manajemen berbasis sekolah. Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana gambaran dan kontribusi kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dan kinerja komite sekolah terhadap efektivitas implementasi Manajemen Berbasis Sekolah di Sekolah Dasar Negeri se-Kecamatan Ligung Kabupaten Majalengka.  Secara umum penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh gambaran mengenai kontribusi perilaku kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dan kinerja komite sekolah terhadap efektivitas implementasi Manajemen Berbasis Sekolah di Sekolah Dasar. Dalam penelitian ini peneliti menggunakan metode survey dengan menggunakan angket sebagai alat pengumpul data. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah gambaran umum perilaku kepemimpinan kepala sekolah  memiliki kategori sedang, kinerja komite sekolah memiliki kategori tinggi, serta efektivitas implementasi Manajemen Berbasis Sekolah memiliki kriteria sangat tinggi. Kontribusi perilaku kepemimpinan kepala sekolah terhadap efektivitas implementasi Manajemen Berbasis Sekolah di Sekolah Dasar Negeri Se-Kecamatan Ligung Kabupaten Majalengka adalah sedang. Kontribusi kinerja komite sekolah terhadap efektivitas implementasi Manajemen Berbasis Sekolah di Sekolah Dasar Negeri Se-Kecamatan Ligung Kabupaten Majalengka adalah kuat. Kontribusi perilaku kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dan kinerja komite sekolah terhadap efektivitas implementasi Manajemen Berbasis Sekolah di Sekolah Dasar Negeri Se-Kecamatan Ligung Kabupaten Majalengka adalah kuat.  Kata Kunci : Kepemimpinan Transformasional Kepala Sekolah, Kinerja Komite Sekolah, Efektivitas Implementasi MBS

Abstract

Salah satu permasalahan yang dihadapi pemerintah daiam pembangunan pendidikan Nasional adalah masalah mutu. Untuk meningkatkan mutu pendidikan perlu ditingkatkan fungsi penendalian yang dilakukan oleh kepala sekolah maupun pengawas pendidikan. Pengendalian yang akan dapat memberikan manfaat yang berarti dalam peningkatan mutu jika ditujuan pada aspek inputproses-output pendidikan. Pengendalian yang ditujukan pada komponen tersebut disebut pengendalian mutu. Pengendalian mutu merupakan suatu tindakan yang berisi kegiatan pengukuran atau penilaian dan perbaikan. Pengendalaian merupakan suatu proses yang terdiri dari merencanakan (menyusun tujuan dan standar performansi), pengyukuran performansi nyata, membandingkan perfbrmansi dan melakukan perbaikan. Pengendalian mutu pendidikan ditujukan pada aspek kurikulum pembelajaran, pembinaan murid dan aspek manajemen, Ketiga bidang sasaran ini semuanya mengacu pada pengembangan kompetensi siswa secara optimal

Abstract

Supervisi akademik kepala sekolah merupakan aspek yang menunjang pada kinerja mengajar guru. Selain faktor supervisi, faktor kesejahteraan dalam hal ini kompensasi juga memberikan pengaruh terhadap kinerja mengajar guru. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh antara supervisi akademik kepala sekolah dan kompensasi terhadap kinerja mengajar guru pada SD Negeri  dan Swasta di Kota Sukabumi. Metode yang digunakan deskriptif analisis menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Pada unit lembaga sebanyak 31 sekolah negeri dan swasta di Kota Sukabumi. Tekhnik Analitis data menggunakan tekhnik analitis regresi (regression analysis). Temuan penelitian ini adalah  pelaksanaan supervisi akademik kepala sekolah, kompensasi dan kinerja mengajar guru telah terlaksana dengan baik; Supervisi akademik kepala sekolah memberikan pengaruh sedang terhadap kinerja mengajar guru  dan menunjukan adanya hubungan yang signifikan; kompensasi memberikan pengaruh sedang terhadap kinerja mengajar guru  dan menunjukan hubungan yang signifikan; Supervisi akademik kepala sekolah dan kompensasi secara simultan memberikan pengaruh terhadap terhadap kinerja mengajar guru, dan secara bersama-sama memberikan pengaruh yang kuat terhadap kinerja mengajar guru. Saran dari peneitian ini adalah  sebaiknya Guru SD perlu ditingkatkan semangat kerjanya melalui dua pendekatan, yaitu pendekatan struktural dan pendekatan proses. Pendekatan struktural meliputi: otonomi, variasi tugas, signifikansi tugas, identitas tugas, dan feed back. Pendekatan proses adalah melakukan berbagai proses keorganisasian untuk menciptakan adanya saling percaya di antara guru, saling membantu, mengurangi munculnya kelemahan manusia, dan membantu memecahkan masalah yang dihadapi guru, di antaranya dapat dilakukan melalui: (1) meningkatkan suasana kerjasama yang baik antar guru-kepala sekolah-pegawai sekolah, (2) pemberian penghargaan, dan (3) mengadakan pengawasan  rutin dan berkala dan memberi bantuan kepada para pengawas agar terjadi peningkatan kinerja mengajar di SD Negeri dan Swasta di Kota Sukabumi melalui penataran-lokakarya-seminar. Academic supervision is the principal aspects that support the teaching performance of teachers. In addition to the supervision, welfare factor compensation in this case also gives effect to the teaching performance of teachers. This study aims to determine the effect of the principal academic supervision and compensation to the performance of teachers teaching in public and private elementary school in Sukabumi. The method used descriptive analysis using a quantitative approach. In as many as 31 units of institutions public and private schools in the city of Sukabumi. Analytical techniques of analytical data using regression techniques (regression analysis). The findings of this research is the implementation of the principal academic supervision, compensation and teachers' teaching performance has been carried out well ; Academic supervision was the principal influence on the performance of teachers to teach and demonstrate a significant relationship ; compensation effect was the teacher's teaching performance and showed a significant relationship ; Academic supervision and compensation principals simultaneously influence on the teaching performance of teachers, and together provide a strong influence on the performance of teachers to teach. This is the suggestion of fieldwork should be elementary school teachers need to be improved spirit works through two approaches , namely the structural approach and the process approach . Structural approach include : autonomy, task variation, task significance, task identity, and feedback. Process approach is to perform a variety of organizational processes to create mutual trust among teachers , helping each other, reducing the appearance of human weakness, and help solve problems faced by the teacher, which can be done through : (1) improve the atmosphere good cooperation between teacher- head schools, school personnel, (2) the award, and (3) conduct regular and periodic monitoring and provide assistance to the supervisor so that an increase in the performance of teaching in public and private elementary school in Sukabumi through courses- workshops-seminars .

Abstract

This study aims to examine the implications of the implementation of the Pengembanagan Keprofesian Berkelanjutan (PKB) policy on teacher career management in junior high schools in Bandung.  The implication is seen in Penilaian Kinerja Guru  (PKG) planning where the teacher explores her career needs, in the implementation of PKB where the teacher tries her career strategy, and in the evaluation where the teacher reflects on PKB. Abstract

This study aims to identify and analyze the role of teachers in shaping character education management in Senior High Schools (SMA). Character education is a top priority in shaping students' personalities and morals, and teachers play a central role in its implementation. Using qualitative methods with a case study approach in several selected high schools, this study found that teachers not only act as learning facilitators, but also as the main agents in instilling character values ​​such as honesty, responsibility, and discipline. However, the implementation of character education in high schools faces several challenges, including the lack of special training for teachers, minimal support facilities, and inconsistent school policies in integrating character education. Therefore, strong support from school management and the involvement of parents and the community are important factors in the success of the implementation of character education. Based on the research results, it is recommended that there be ongoing training for teachers and increased synergy between schools, families, and the environment in supporting character education.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengidentifikasi unsur tantangan dan unsur strategi pada praktik-praktik supervisi akademik di sekolah-sekolah Indonesia yang muncul dalam periode 5 tahun terakhir (2019-2024) untuk memungkinkan penanggulangan yang cermat terhadap tantangan yang muncul dan peningkatan strategi supervisi akademik di masa mendatang. Pendekatan kualitatif model library research dengan metode scoping review digunakan. Pencarian data artikel dilakukan pada database Google Schoolar dengan bantuan Harzing’s Publish or Perish. Pengumpulan data tahap awal ini mengekstraksi 199 artikel. Tetapi filterisasi yang ketat melalui tiga tahapan dengan memperhatikan pemenuhan kriteria inklusi, mengeksklusi 188 artikel. Sehingga 11 artikel ditetapkan untuk ditinjau secara mendalam. Hasil penelitian mengidentifikasi, bahwa terdapat 18 unsur tantangan dan 22 unsur strategi yang muncul dalam praktik supervisi akademik pada sekolah-sekolah di Indonesia. Unsur tantangan paling besar didominasi oleh kategori domain manajemen kepegawaian yang menghambat supervisi akademik. Sedangkan unsur strategi didominasi oleh tiga kategori, yaitu strategi pengembangan tahapan dalam supervisi akademik, model keputusan transformtif kepala sekolah, dan pemanfaatan teknologi ke dalam supervisi akademik. Hasil penelitian ini menimbulkan implikasi yang besar bagi arah penelitian selanjutnya. Pertama, penelitian supervisi akademik di Indonesia yang sebelumnya cenderung berkutat pada pencarian korelasi antara supervisi akademik dengan kompetensi tertentu pada guru – dipromosikan agar berganti arah untuk mencari bukti korelasi antara domain manajemen kepegawaian guru dengan supervisi akademik. Kedua, Keputusan-keputusan transformatif kepala sekolah dan pemanfaatan teknologi yang mutakhir dalam kegiatan supervisi akademik perlu dikembangkan lebih lanjut.

Abstract

This study aims to explore how environmental leadership in Islamic boarding schools plays a role in supporting the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through the integration of Islamic spiritual values, sustainable education, and technological innovation. The global environmental crisis and the urgency of implementing the SDGs demand educational innovations that can combine ecological awareness, spirituality, and environmentally friendly technology. Pesantren, as a community-based Islamic educational institution, has great potential in shaping the character of students who are not only religious but also care about environmental sustainability. However, research on the role of pesantren in supporting the sustainability agenda is still limited. Using a qualitative approach and an exploratory descriptive design, this study collects data through semi-structured interviews, direct observation, and documentation involving leaders, teachers, and students at Al Ashriyyah Nurul Iman Ecopesantren. The results of the study show that environmental leadership in Islamic boarding schools contributes to SDG3 through organic agriculture and ecology-based sanitation, SDG4 with a spiritual and environment-based curriculum, and SDG5 through women's empowerment in environmental leadership. In addition, SDG6 and SDG7 are realized with environmentally friendly technologies such as biogas, solar panels, and reverse osmosis systems, while SDG17 is strengthened by global and local collaborations. Although this study has limitations in geographical scope and long-term impact exploration, the results enrich the discussion on the integration of environmental education in pesantren and provide recommendations for the Islamic education system in supporting sustainable development.

Abstract

Elementary schools play an important role in developing students' understanding and skills. Therefore, the transformation of elementary schools is very important to produce a critical, creative and innovative generation capable of facing the challenges of the 21st century. The purpose of this research is to determine the application of 4C skills (Critical Thinking Skills, Creativity and Innovation Skills, Communication Skills, Collaboration Skills) in teachers' teaching in 21st century learning at SD Negeri Serang 20. The research method uses qualitative methods by conducting structured interviews. The target respondents were all 10 teachers of SD Negeri Serang 20. The results of the research show that the respondents have integrated 4C skills into the curriculum and daily learning activities.

Abstract

This study investigates an ecology-based education model incorporating local wisdom to support Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in Islamic boarding schools (pesantren). The research focuses on Al-Ashriyyah Nurul Iman Islamic Boarding School in Bogor, Indonesia, examining its approach to sustainability within an Islamic educational framework. A qualitative research approach was employed, utilizing semi-structured interviews, observations, and document analysis. Informants included school leaders, students, teachers, staff, the eco-pesantren team, and the surrounding community. Data were analyzed using qualitative descriptive techniques and triangulation to ensure reliability. Findings indicate that Al-Ashriyyah Nurul Iman Ecopesantren integrates Islamic values, local wisdom, and sustainability principles through a holistic educational model. This includes an environment-based curriculum, inclusive community engagement, eco-friendly campus management, a sustainability culture, and circular economy practices. The pesantren applies local wisdom values such as silih asih (mutual care) and reciprocal nurturing, positioning students as key agents of sustainable transformation. Through circular economy initiatives, students actively contribute to sustainability by converting waste into productive resources. These efforts align with multiple SDGs, including SDG1 (No Poverty), SDG2 (Zero Hunger), SDG3 (Good Health and Well-being), SDG4 (Quality Education), SDG5 (Gender Equality), SDG6 (Clean Water and Sanitation), SDG7 (Affordable and Clean Energy), SDG13 (Climate Action), and SDG17 (Partnerships for the Goals). The integration of ecological education and local wisdom in Islamic boarding schools fosters sustainability and enhances student participation in achieving SDGs, demonstrating the potential of pesantren as models for sustainable education.

Abstract

In an increasingly competitive educational landscape, Total Quality Management (TQM) offers a strategic approach to enhance institutional quality, stakeholder satisfaction, and long-term sustainability. Despite its potential, consistent implementation of TQM remains challenging due to limited resources, institutional readiness, and cultural variations. This study investigates how TQM can be effectively adapted in Indonesian secondary schools by incorporating culturally relevant leadership practices—an area that remains underexplored. A qualitative case study approach was employed, involving three public high schools in Bandung Regency, Indonesia. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, direct observations, and document analysis to understand TQM implementation in these educational settings comprehensively. The findings indicate that TQM practices have contributed to improvements in school accreditation scores, stakeholder engagement, and operational efficiency. Notably, culturally embedded leadership approaches enhanced stakeholder trust and alignment with local values. However, challenges persist in the form of limited training opportunities, resource constraints, and inconsistencies in cultural adaptation, which have impeded the full realization of TQM benefits. This study demonstrates that while TQM can substantially improve educational quality and institutional competitiveness, its long-term success depends on sustained investment in capacity-building, culturally responsive leadership, and strategic resource allocation. The integration of local leadership values within TQM frameworks emerges as a critical factor for effective adaptation in Indonesian schools. These insights are transferable to other contexts facing similar barriers in implementing quality management systems in education.
