Abstract

AbstractThe problems discussed in this paper are, "How are the teaching materials that can push towards the creation of human beings who have IPTEK and also IMTAQ, facing the challenge of the Industrial Revolution of 4.0?" Elementary school teacher Education is one of the important containers to make the world of education play a role in facing the challenges of the current revolution. For that it needs to be developed and compiled the latest teaching materials based on character education. By preparing teaching materials that contain character education values that are in line with the access of learning and curriculum, will be produced graduates who not only have high knowledge and skills, but also have a attitude, personal and social, which is capable. Through the literature and research results, in this paper presented product development based on character education, which can be a reference for the development and preparation of teaching materials at the basic level, as a shoulder effort in the planting of positive attitudes to learners.  Keywords: teaching materials, character education, IPTEK and IMTAQ, the challenge of Industrial revolution Abstrak            Permasalahan yang dibahas dalam makalah ini adalah, “Bagaimanakah bahan ajar yang dapat mendorong ke arah terciptanya insan-insan yang memiliki IPTEK sekaligus juga IMTAQ, menghadapi tantangan revolusi industri 4.0?” Pendidikan Guru Sekolah Dasar merupakan salah satu wadah yang sangat penting untuk menjadikan dunia pendidikan berperan dalam menghadapi tantangan revolusi saat ini. Untuk itu perlu dikembangkan dan disusun bahan ajar yang mutakhir yang berbasis pendidikan karakter. Dengan menyiapkan bahan ajar yang memuat nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter yang sejalan dengan capaian pembelajaran dan kurikulum, akan dihasilkan lulusan yang tidak hanya memiliki pengetahuan dan keterampilan yang tinggi, tetapi sekaligus memiliki sikap, personal dan sosial, yang mumpuni. Melalui kaji literatur dan hasil penelitian, dalam makalah ini disajikan produk hasil pengembangan berbasis pendidikan karakter, yang dapat menjadi acuan untuk pengembangan dan penyusunan bahan ajar di tingkat dasar, sebagai upaya yang pundamen dalam penanaman sikap-sikap positif kepada pembelajaran. Kata-kata kunci: bahan ajar,  pendidikan karakter, IPTEK dan IMTAQ, tantangan revolusi    industri

Abstract

This article is a part of the research and development that aims to produce poem teaching materials based on the local wisdom for IX grade of MTs in Palembang in the form of modules and CD. The problem is how are the perceptions and expectations that needed by students and teachers about the material that will made. This study uses the procedures of Bolg & Gall and Jolly & Ballito. The subject of this research are the students and teachers on the IX grade of MTs in Palembang with academic year 2015/2016, one state MTs and two private MTs. Collecting data using documentation, surveys, interview, observations, questionnaires, and focus group discussions. Data analysis using quantitative and qualitative approaches. The results showed: 1) In the curriculum, it is a competence to understand the poem. In the textbook there was only a few materials about poem, no special book that talks about poem, no special literary of teaching materials about poem, poem examples that provided from outside, and learning activities doesn't compatible with the demands of SK and KD. 2) Teachers and students perception's data towards the poem teaching materials used, 87% of teachers and 88% of students stated that poem teaching materials used in schools is not appropriate. 3) Analysis of the poem teaching materials should be developed data is 95.9% of teachers and 85.7% of students claimed it’s a good thing that poem teaching materials develops in the module and CD form. Based on the results of forum group discussions (FGD) concluded that the existing poem teaching materials is not suitable with the curriculum, students are required to have competence in understanding poem. Poem as a literary work that has dulce et utile, contains the values of local wisdom that can be used to increase positive values for the students. The results is perceptions and needs analysis can be used as input for the developmentof poem teaching materials. Teaching materials that will be developed, expected to preserve the localwisdom and useful for the cultivation of moral values which identical to the value of character education.

Abstract

ABSTRAK: Perencanaan Pembelajaran merupakan matakuliah wajib yang harus diikuti oleh mahasiswa program studi pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia FKIP Universitas Sriwijaya pada semester enam. Matakuliah tersebut memberikan panduan untuk calon guru dalam membuat perangkat pembelajaran dan meyimulasikannya. Untuk mengetahui kepraktisan buku ajar Perencanaan Pembelajaran Bahasa  Berbasis Pendidikan karakter dan Pendekatan Saintifik (PPBPKPS) yang sudah dikembangkan dan divalidasi oleh para ahli dan sudah diterbitkan cetakan pertama, perlu diketahui, “Bagaimanakah kepraktisan  buku  PPBPKPS, dilihat dari uji one-to-one dan uji small grup? Metode yang digunakan, bagian dari penelitian dan pengembanganfase keempat, deskriptif kuantitatif. Subjek penelitiannya adalah mahasiswa semester 6 kelas Inderalaya dan kelas Palembang, teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket, wawancara, dan tes,  analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis statistik deskriptif. Tingkat kepraktisan yang digunakan mengacu pada kriteria berikut ini. 1) tidak praktis (0—54), 2) kurang praktis (55—59), 3) cukup praktis (60—75), 4) praktis (76—85), dan 5) sangat praktis (86—100). Dari uji kepraktisanbahan ajar PPBPKPS, terlihat dari  4 aspek yang terpenuhi yakni: efektif, kreatif, efisien, dan menarik. Hasil nilai kepraktisan dari data one to one diperoleh rata-rata nilai 80.05 dan dari small grup diperoleh rata-rata 81,03, berarti bahan ajar ini tergolong praktis. Selanjutnya bahan ajar tersebut dapat digunakan oleh mahasiswa dalam kegiatan perkuliahan dan oleh guru di lapangan.KATA KUNCI: Bahan Ajar; Karakter;  Kepraktisan; Saintifik. PRACTICES OF TEACHING MATERIALS LEARNING BASED ON CHARACTER AND SAINTIFIC EDUCATION ABSTRACT: Learning Planning is a compulsory subject that must be attended by students of the Indonesian Language and Literature education program FKIP Sriwijaya University in the sixth semester. The course provides guidance for prospective teachers in making learning tools and simulating them. To find out the practicality of textbooks based on Character Learning and Scientific Approaches (PPBPKPS) that have been developed and validated by experts and published the first print, the problem is, " What is the practicality of the PPBPKPS book, seen from the one-to-one test and the small group test? The method used is part of research and development, the fourth phase. The research subjects were 6th semester students of Inderalaya and Palembang classes, data collection techniques using questionnaires, interviews, and tests, the data analysis used was descriptive statistical analysis. The level of practicality used refers to the following criteria. 1) impractical (0-54), 2) rather-practical (55-59), 3) quite practical (60-75), 4) practical (76-85), and 5) very practical (86-100). From the practicality test of PPBPKPS teaching materials, it can be seen from 4 aspects that are fulfilled namely: effective, creative, efficient, and interesting, the results of practicality values from one to one data obtained an average value of 80.05 and from the small group an average of 81.03 means this teaching material is classified as practical. Furthermore, these teaching materials can be used by students in lecturing activities and by teachers in the field.KEYWORDS: Teaching Material; Practicality; Character, Scientific

Abstract

This study aims to produce valid and practical PISA-based numerical problems in the context of the pandemic period and to find out the role of the questions in the form of potential effects on the mathematical literacy skills of secondary school students. This research uses developmental research design, which has 2 stages, namely preliminary and formative evaluation (self evaluation, expert review, one-to-one and small group validation, and field test). The participants in this study were students in Grade 8 who were under the age of 15 and different levels of skills. Data analysis was done descriptively by conducting observations, tests, interviews, and document analysis. The research was conducted face-to-face and via Zoom and WhatsApp Group (WAG) to produce valid and practical PISA-like arithmetic questions. Based on the students' responses, it can be stated that the questions presented are in the practical category because they can be completed quickly by students, they can be understood well by students, and they have the potential effect on students' mathematical literacy skills. In addition, there is a diversity of answers between one students and another according to the level of difficulty that is appropriate for Grade 8 students. This proves that a PISA-like numeration problem in the context of the religious day during a pandemic can help improve students' mathematical literacy.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui: (1) nilai-nilai moral dalam Novel Nanti Kita Cerita Tentang Hari Ini karya Marchella F.P; (2) implikasi nilai-nilai moral dalam Novel Nanti Kita Cerita Tentang Hari Ini karya Marchella F.P terhadap moral siswa SMA. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif. Subjek dari penelitian ini adalah novel Nanti Kita Cerita Tentang Hari Ini karya Marchella F.P. Subjek penelitian ini adalah aspek nilai moral yang terdapat dalam Nanti Kita Cerita Tentang Hari Ini karya Marchella F.P. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan temuan sebagai berikut. Hubungan manusia dengan tuhan terdiri dari: 1) 2 nilai berserah diri kepada Tuhan; 2) 3 nilai bersyukur kepada Tuhan; dan 3) 2 nilai memanjatkan do’a. Hubungan manusia dengan diri sendiri terdiri dari: 1) 7 nilai kesabaran; 2) 2 nilai tanggung jawab; 3) 11 nilai pantang menyerah dan bekerja keras; 4) 8 nilai menerima kenyataan; 5) 3 nilai keikhlasan 6) 1 nilai percaya diri; 7) 4 nilai kesadaran diri; 8) 1 nilai kejujuran; 9) 2 nilai ketegasan dan teguh pendirian; 10) 5 nilai ketenangan dan jangan mempersulit diri sendiri; 11) 8 nilai optimis. hubungan manusia dengan manusia lain lingkup sosial terdiri dari: 1) 10 pemberian nasihat kepada manusia; 2) 5 peduli sesama; 3) 3 saling menghargai dan menghormati; 4) 5 tolong-menolong; dan 5) 3 berbuat baik. Implikasi nilai-nilai moral dalam novel Nanti Kita Cerita Tentang Hari Ini karya Marchella F.P terhadap Moral Siswa SMA yaitu pembelajaran bahasa dan sastra Indonesia pada kurikulum 2013 diformulasikan dengan kompetensi dasar antara bahasa dan sastra Indoneisa dengan seimbang. Dalam kurikulum 2013 untuk kelas X SMA/MA terdapat KD pembeljaaran sastra dengan menggunakan media novel. Hal tersebut tertuang dalam KD.3.9 mengidentifkasi butir-butir penting dari dua buku nonfiksi (buku pengayaan) dan satu novel yang dibaca menentukan nilai-nilai kebahasaan cerita. Kompetensi dasar ini diajarkan pada semester ganjil kelas X.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menemukan dan mengetahui kesalahan dalam bernalar pada karangan argumentasi. Penelitian dilaksanakan terhadap mahasiswa Universitas Sriwijaya pada Mata Kuliah Bahasa Indonesia, dengan subjek penelitan tentang kesalahan bernalar yang dilakukan mahasiswa semester 2 angkatan 2021 pada karangan mereka. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif dengan menggunakan teknik analisis isi. Sumber data penelitian adalah karangan argumentasi mahasiswa. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kesalahan nalar yang ditemukan hanya kesalahan yang disebabkan penggunaan bahasanya atau kesalahan informal. Kesalahan formaldan informal yang dijadikan acuan berdasarkan teori Hurley. Kesalahan formal tidak didapati. Kesalahan informal terdiri 18, yaitu appeal to the people, red herring, missing the point, accidence, hasty generalization, weak analogy, false cause appeal to ignorance, slippery slope, appeal to the author, amphiboly, begging the question, complex question, false dichotomy, suppressed evidence, division dan composition. Kesalahan nalar baru penulis namakan kesalahan kompleks. Jumlah kesalahan nalar yang ditemukan adalah 214. Jenis kesalahan nalar yang berfrekuensi paling tinggi adalah kesalahan amphiboly, sebanyak 23,14%, sedangkan yang paling rendah adalah kesalahan appeal to authority, accidence, composition, dan division, masing-masing 0,58% atau 1 kesalahan. Kesalahan nalar yang tidak ditemukan berjumlah lima, yaitu appeal to force, appeal to pitty, argumentum againts the person, straw man, dan equivocation. Penelitian ini menghasilkan simpulan bahwa adanya kesalahan nalar menunjukkan bahwa penalaran memiliki peran yang sangat penting dalam karangan argumentasi. Permasalahan eksternal mengacu pada faktor mahasiswa itu sendiri, minimnya buku tentang penalaran, serta permasalahan pengajaran terkait pemahaman penalaran mahasiswa.

Abstract

Research and development of a module for reading explanatory texts based on inquiry methods and PISA standardized questions has been carried out in class VIII SMP N 52 Palembang. This study aimed to produce reading modules that suit the needs of teachers and students. The research method used was development research with the steps of research on the development of the Jolly and Bolitho and Dick, Carey & Carey models which include identification of needs, exploration of material needs, contextual realization, production of materials, expert validation, one to one evaluation, small group and field tests. Data was collected through questionnaires, interviews, validation sheets, and tests. The results showed that the feasibility aspect of content and presentation obtained a percentage of 84% in the very good category, linguistic feasibility obtained a percentage of 90% and was categorized as very good, graphics obtained a percentage of 76% in the good category, validation questions received a percentage of 85% in the very good category. Practicality in the one-to-one evaluation stage and the small group gets a percentage of 80% in the practical category. The effectiveness measured in the field test is 0.49 and is in the medium category. Thus, the product in the form of a module for reading explanatory texts based on inquiry methods and PISA standardized questions can be used in learning explanatory texts.

Abstract

Wild animal material has been introduced by teachers and parents only in the traditional. Early reading can be challenging since it might be difficult to recognize new words. Technology has been used to this issue in the form of flashcard with augmented reality (AR). This study aims to develop a flashcard material for wild animals based on augmented reality for children aged (5-6) years in Kayu Agung which has been tested for validity and practicality. The research method used in this research was Research Development (RD) research. The research procedure was Rowntree and formative evaluation Tessmer. The formative evaluation stage of Tessmer consisted of self-evaluation, expert review, one-to-one evaluation, and small group evaluation. The results showed the wild animals flashcard-based AR was developed had met the valid and practical criteria and was suitable to children aged (5-6) as an early reading game years in Kayu Agung

Abstract

This research belongs to the type of development research, which consists of the main stages, including preliminary design and formative evaluation. This study aims to obtain valid and practical PISA-type development questions consisting of initial design, self-evaluation, expert review, one-to-one, and small group. The emergence of this research is due to the low mathematical literacy of students in Indonesia. This study took a particular research subject for grade IX junior high school students in Palembang City. From this study, the results obtained include the development of PISA-type questions and activities using the context of social distancing during the pandemic.

Abstract

Kondisi pandemi Covid-19 menuntut perubahan proses belajar mengajar dari belajar tatap muka disekolah menjadi belajar dari rumah melalui pembelajaran daring. Berkaitan dengan hal tersebut, selfregulationoflearningmemegangperananpentingdalampembelajaranpesertadidikkarenamembentukmerekauntukbagaimanaberinteraksi,merespon,danbereaksiselamaprosespembelajaran.Penelitianinibertujuanuntuk mengetahui ada tidaknya hubungan yang signifikan antara self-regulation of learningmahasiswa dalam pembelajaran online dengan prestasi belajar. Populasi yang juga menjadi sampelpenelitian ini adalah 175 mahasiswa semester 3, 5, dan 7 Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa InggrisFakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas Sriwijaya. Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakankuesioner Self-Regulation (SR) dalam tiga jenis interaksi online dan nilai Indeks Prestasi Kumulatif (IPK).Data dianalisis menggunakan Korelasi Pearson. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya korelasi yangsangat lemah dan tidak signifikan antara kedua variabel (r= 0.104, p-value=0.169). Kata Kunci : self-regulation of learning, tiga jenis interaksi (mahasiswa dan materi, mahasiswa dan dosen,mahaiswa dan teman). Pembelajaran online, prestasi akademik.
