Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi, khususnya media sosial, telah membawa dampak signifikan dalam penyebaran dakwah di kalangan generasi muda. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi peran media sosial dalam menyebarkan pesan-pesan agama dan pengaruhnya terhadap pemahaman serta perilaku generasi muda. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, penelitian ini melibatkan wawancara mendalam dan diskusi kelompok fokus dengan generasi muda berusia 18 hingga 34 tahun yang aktif menggunakan platform media sosial seperti Instagram, Facebook, dan TikTok. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media sosial tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai alat komunikasi, tetapi juga sebagai ruang interaksi yang memungkinkan generasi muda untuk terlibat secara aktif dalam diskusi keagamaan. Konten dakwah yang disajikan dalam format multimedia, seperti video pendek dan infografis, lebih mudah diterima dan menarik perhatian generasi muda. Oleh karena itu, penting untuk memberikan edukasi tentang literasi media dan etika penggunaan media sosial.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka di perguruan tinggi Indonesia, dengan fokus utama pada dampak kurikulum terhadap metode pembelajaran, adaptasi mahasiswa, dan kesiapan tenaga pengajar dalam mengimplementasikan kurikulum baru. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menggali tantangan yang dihadapi mahasiswa dalam beradaptasi dengan Kurikulum Merdeka, serta kesiapan dan pemahaman dosen dalam menjalankan kurikulum tersebut, dan dampaknya terhadap pengalaman serta keterampilan mahasiswa. Pendekatan kualitatif digunakan dalam penelitian ini dengan wawancara sebagai instrumen utama. Sampel penelitian melibatkan 7 narasumber, yaitu mahasiswa semester 2 yang sudah mengalami Kurikulum Merdeka, mahasiswa semester 4 yang masih mengikuti kurikulum sebelumnya, serta dosen yang terlibat langsung dalam proses pengajaran. Pemilihan responden dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling, yaitu memilih individu yang masih aktif sebagai bagian dari civitas akademika. Data yang terkumpul kemudian dianalisis menggunakan studi kasus dan pendekatan analisis konstruktif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa meskipun Kurikulum Merdeka memberikan fleksibilitas dalam pembelajaran, implementasinya belum sepenuhnya menghasilkan perubahan yang signifikan dalam pengalaman belajar mahasiswa. Faktor utama yang menghambat adaptasi mahasiswa adalah kesulitan dalam beralih ke metode pembelajaran yang lebih mandiri dan pemanfaatan teknologi dalam pendidikan. Selain itu, evaluasi yang kurang mencerminkan pemahaman mahasiswa secara nyata juga menjadi kendala. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa keberhasilan Kurikulum Merdeka sangat bergantung pada kesiapan tenaga pengajar dalam memahami dan mengimplementasikan kurikulum tersebut dengan efektif, serta pada konsistensi kebijakan pendidikan yang harus dijaga untuk menciptakan stabilitas dalam sistem pendidikan di Indonesia.

Abstract

Ospek merupakan kegiatan orientasi bagi mahasiswa baru yang bertujuan untuk memperkenalkan budaya akademik dan sosial kampus. Namun, dalam praktiknya, ospek sering kali mengandung unsur kekerasan simbolik yang menempatkan mahasiswa baru dalam posisi subordinat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis bentuk kekerasan simbolik dalam ospek dan dampaknya terhadap pembentukan identitas mahasiswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan teknik wawancara terhadap mahasiswa angkatan 2024 dari Fakultas Pendidikan Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial (FPIPS) Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ospek tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai ajang pengenalan kampus tetapi juga sebagai mekanisme reproduksi kekuasaan yang sering kali bersifat otoriter. Tekanan yang diberikan tidak hanya berupa tuntutan kepatuhan sosial, tetapi juga dalam bentuk beban fisik, mental, dan finansial yang membebani mahasiswa baru. Dampak dari ospek ini bersifat ambivalen, di mana beberapa mahasiswa merasa bahwa ospek membantu mereka beradaptasi dengan kehidupan kampus, sementara yang lain merasa tertekan dan mengembangkan sikap perlawanan terhadap sistem. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan reformasi dalam pelaksanaan ospek agar dapat menghindari praktik kekerasan simbolik dan lebih mengedepankan pendekatan edukatif yang inklusif dan konstruktif bagi mahasiswa baru.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the role of collaborative media between Islamic Education (PAI) teachers and parents in shaping students’ multicultural attitudes at SMP Muhammadiyah 48 Medan. The study is based on the importance of multicultural education in fostering tolerance, appreciation of diversity, and mutual respect among students. The research employed a qualitative case study design. Data were collected through observations, interviews with PAI teachers, students, and parents, questionnaires, and documentation, and were validated using source triangulation. Data analysis was conducted descriptively to illustrate the role of collaborative media in developing students’ multicultural attitudes. The results show that media such as class WhatsApp groups, regular teacher-parent meetings, and active communication are effective in enhancing interaction and students’ understanding. Supporting factors include school principal support, parents’ readiness, and ease of communication, while constraints involve limited time and technical obstacles. This synergy effectively increases students’ awareness of tolerance, appreciation of cultural and religious diversity, and social skills that promote mutual respect. In conclusion, consistent collaboration between PAI teachers and parents through communication media plays a crucial role in shaping students’ multicultural attitudes. Support from all stakeholders and the effective use of media are key to the success of multicultural education in schools.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of internal control and Management Accounting Information Systems (MAIS) characteristics on managerial performance with environmental uncertainty as a moderating variable. In this study, the object used is PT Pelabuhan Indonesia This study aims to determine the influence of internal control and Management Accounting Information Systems (MAIS) characteristics on managerial performance with environmental uncertainty as a moderating variable. In this study, the object used is PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero) Regional 2 Teluk Bayur. The sample was selected using a purposive sampling method with certain criteria needed in this study. The sample determination method used in this study was a total sampling of 30 people. The analysis technique in this study used the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) technique with the Partial Least Squares (PLS) approach. The study's results prove that internal control has an insignificant influence on managerial performance. In contrast, the characteristics of the management accounting information system have a significant effect on managerial performance. Environmental uncertainty does not moderate the relationship between internal control and managerial performance. However, environmental uncertainty moderates the relationship between accounting information system characteristics and managerial performance. (Persero) Regional 2 Teluk Bayur. Abstract

Fishing communities face hazardous working environments, health problems due to high workloads and consumption of addictive substances, long working periods, low levels of education, and uncertain incomes that lead to disruptions in their quality of life. Objective: This study aims to determine the description of the quality of life of fishermen in Bojong Salawe Village based on 4 aspects of the dimensions of physical health, psychological health, social relationships, and the environment. Method: This research design is quantitative with descriptive method. The study used simple random sampling method with a sample size of 68 fishermen at Bojongsalawe Beach. Instrumen penelitian ini menggunakan World Health Organization Quality of Life - Abbreviated Form (WHOQoL-BREF). The WHOQoL-BREF measuring instrument has a Tucker-Lewis index (TLI) value = 0.86 and Cronbach's Alpha value of the WHOQOL-BREF questionnaire is 0.89. The analytical tool used is univariate to analyze one variable Results: The results of this study showed that more than most respondents (52.9%) had a low level of quality of life category. The physical health (58.8%), psychological well-being (60.3%) social (37.7%) and environmental (42.6%) dimensions of well-being were analyzed. Conclusions : Optimization of central government policies related to health aspects, provision of fisheries business facilities and infrastructure, training and access to equitable and sustainable sanitation for both fishermen and fishermen's families at Bojongsalawe Beach and occupational health services for fishermen.

Abstract

This study investigates the use of exoticism in Qaisra Shahraz's novels The Holy Woman and Typhoon. Exoticism in literature extends beyond depicting foreign cultures, often functioning as a lens to critique social realities through stereotypes and cultural symbolism. This research employs a qualitative descriptive method, focusing on how Shahraz uses exotic elements to portray the complexity of gender, identity, and power dynamics in Pakistan. The study compares Shahraz’s works with Taj by Timeri N. Murari and Beneath a Marble Sky by John Shors, which showcase exoticism within Indian cultural contexts. The findings reveal that in The Holy Woman, exoticism highlights patriarchal traditions and social inequalities, particularly through rituals like making women "holy" to preserve family honor. Similarly, Typhoon explores dual identities and societal pressures within a diasporic setting, employing exotic cultural practices and language to enrich the narrative. Contrastingly, the Indian novels use the grandeur of the Mughal era, exemplified by the Taj Mahal, to critique political power struggles and social injustices. The study concludes that exoticism in these literary works serves as both an aesthetic device and a medium for social critique, revealing the nuanced intersection of tradition, gender, and power. This analysis enhances understanding of how postcolonial literature uses exoticism to navigate cross-cultural narratives and reflect on societal complexities.

Abstract

The Independent Curriculum (Curriculum Merdeka) brings significant changes to the learning structure in elementary schools, including the simplification and reduction of material in several subjects. At SDN Sungai Miai 10, these adjustments pose challenges for teachers, such as limited training, student readiness, and learning time management. This study aims to analyze teachers' strategies in adapting to the reduced material in the Independent Curriculum, identify the obstacles encountered, and evaluate the effectiveness of these strategies. The research used a qualitative approach with a case study method through in-depth interviews with the principal and class teachers directly involved in the curriculum's implementation. Data were analyzed thematically to identify patterns in the strategies used. Findings indicate that teachers addressed the reduced material by reinserting removed topics into relevant lessons, implementing project-based learning, a thematic approach, and formative assessment. These strategies increase student engagement, maintain conceptual understanding, and tailor learning to students' needs. However, the success of these strategies is greatly influenced by teacher readiness and ongoing training support. This study emphasizes the importance of supporting facilities, flexible teaching modules, and regular evaluation to ensure the effective implementation of the Independent Curriculum in elementary schools.

Abstract

The background of this research is the existence of leasing transactions (ijarah) where the lessee and the lessee (goods owner) have an agreement to sell or grant the leased goods at the end of the lease term, so that this transaction ends with a transfer of ownership of the leased property. In fact, the ownership of the leased assets is not transferred in the Ijarah contract. However, if the lessee wishes to own the property for lease, this can be exercised through put options and/or grants at the end of the contract. The form of leasing in Contemporary Fiqh Mu'amalah above is called Ijarah Muntahiya Bit Tamlik (IMBT) and this transaction already contains provisions as the basis for its implementation in the form of a DSN-MUI fatwa. With the innovation of the contract in the rental contract, it is inseparable from the problem of disputes that might arise in it. Therefore, this study aims to find out the settlement of disputes in Ijarah Muntahiya Bit Tamlik based on MUI Fatwa Number: 27/DSN-MUI/III/2022. The transaction, known as Ijarah Muntahiya Bit Tamlik (IMBT), is a kind of combination of a lease agreement with a sale and purchase contract or a lease agreement with a grant, or more precisely, a lease agreement that ends with the ownership of the rented object in the hands of the lessee. The nature of the transfer of ownership is also what distinguishes it from ijarah in general. As for IMBT financing in Islamic banking, it has the same treatment as murabahah contract financing. The similarity between the two is that the financing is included in the natural certainty contract category, and basically is a sale and purchase contract. The difference between these two types of financing is only in the object of the transaction being traded. In murabahah financing, the object of the transaction is goods such as a house or car, whereas in ijarah financing, the object of the transaction is a service, both benefits for goods and benefits for labour. The implementation of the IMBT contract in Islamic banking is that the bank provides financing to the customer by procuring an item which is then leased to the customer, and at the end of the lease the ownership of the item passes to the customer, after the customer has paid off the lease as well as the remainder of the purchase. This transfer of ownership can use a sale and purchase contract or a grant contract. In financing Ijarah Mutahiya Bit Tamlik (IMBT), if in the future there is a dispute between the customer and the bank, then according to the DSN-MUI Fatwa Number: 27/DSN-MUI/III/2002 concerning Ijarah Mutahiya Bit Tamlik (IMBT) it can be resolved through two options, namely by way of deliberation and/or through the Sharia Arbitration Board. The Sharia Arbitration Board is the final step in resolving IMBT disputes after deliberations cannot resolve the dispute.
