Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan menjelaskan bentuk pemertahanan bahasa Sunda dalam kaulinan barudak Sunda di Kabupaten Bandung dan menjelaskan faktor-faktor penentu yang memengaruhi proses pemertahanan bahasa tersebut. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif-deskriptif. Sumber data pada penelitian ini berupa sistem permainan tradisional Sunda, khususnya yang memiliki unsur lingual berupa nyanyian berbahasa Sunda di Kabupaten Bandung. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) bentuk pemertahanan bahasa Sunda pada kaulinan barudak Sunda diKabupaten Bandung terlihat jelas dari adanya penggunaan lirik-lirik berbahasa Sunda dalam proses permainannya. Beberapa bentuk permainan yang mengandung lirik nyanyian berbahasa Sunda di antaranya adalah cingciripit, oray-orayan, ucangucang angge, dan hompimpah. (2) faktor penentu proses pemertahanan bahasa Sunda pada kaulinan barudak Sunda di Kabupaten Bandung adalah (a) konsentrasi penutur, (b) kesinambungan pengalihan bahasa ibu, (c) loyalitas terhadap bahasa ibu. (d) khazanah bahasa golongan muda, dan (e) menjaga identitas kultural.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji variasi linguistik bahasa Sunda dialek Kabupaten Ciamis, Jawa Barat-Indonesia dalam perspektif dialektologi perseptual. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini terdiri atas dua, yaitu pendekatan teoretis dan pendekatan metodologis. Secara teoretis, pendekatan yang digunakan di dalam penelitian ini adalah dialektologi perseptual. Adapun secara metodologis, penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kombinasi (metode penelitian gabungan). Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan participant observe atau pengamatan berperan serta dengan introspeksi, wawancara mendalam, dan telaah dokumen. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Kabupaten Ciamis dengan memilih lima kecamatan sebagai daerah pengamatan yang ditentukan berdasarkan arah mata angin, yaitu Kecamatan Sindangkasih, Kecamatan Sukamantri, Kecamatan Lakbok, Kecamatan Banjarsari, dan Kecamatan Pamarican. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: di Kabupaten Ciamis terdapat persebaran subdialek dari bahasa Sunda berdasarkan persepsi masyarakat tutur terhadap sebaran subdialek tersebut; Pemetaan bahasa Sunda dialek Ciamis berdasarkan persepsi masyarakat tutur di Kabupaten Ciamis, Jawa Barat-Indonesia dapat diklasifikasikan menjadi tiga subdialek utama berdasarkan persebaran dialektalnya, yaitu subdialek bahasa Sunda Ciamis Barat, subdialek bahasa Sunda Ciamis Timur - Tengah, dan subdialek bahasa Sunda Ciamis Tenggara.Kata Kunci: dialektologi perseptual, variasi linguistik, bahasa Sunda, Ciamis.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze factors that affect communication families of migrant workers, the level of relations of parents and children in a migrant worker family communication, and communication styles of communication parents in families of migrant workers in the district of Indramayu district Sliyeg. The benefits and outcomes of this research is an article that would be presented as a study in the scientific journal, both the national level and international level, as well as teaching material in several courses ie Interpersonal Communication and Social Communication Development.The method used in this research is descriptive quantitative method, with research areas in the District Indramayu regency Sliyeg persuasive selection. The collection of data obtained through questionnaires, interviews and observations of respondents as many as 40 heads of families of migrant workers.The results showed that the characteristics of the heads of families of migrant workers, namely age, education level, occupation, income level, number of children and the number of dependents is the driving factor that causes him to allow his wife to become migrant workers. The physical environment and the social environment are important factors that affect patterns of interaction and communication patterns of families of migrant workers. Level relationships of parents and children in a migrant worker family communication going pretty well. Style of parent communication in communication families of migrant workers support their mutual communication between parents and children.

Abstract

Generasi milenial dan kondisi kebahasaan merupakan dua hal yang berkelindan yang penting untuk dikaji. Sebagai bagian integral masyarakat tutur Sunda, generasi milenal di Kabupaten Ciamis memiliki peranan penting dalam upaya pemertahanan bahasa Sunda. Penelitian ini mengkaji sikap bahasa dan peranan generasi milenial dalam upaya pemertahanan bahasa Sunda di Kabupaten Ciamis. Dalam penelitian ini, digunakan metode campuran kualitatif-deskriptif dan kuantitatif. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan metode cakap dengan teknik cakap terarah, pertanyaan langsung, pertanyaan taklangsung, pemancingan jawaban, dan pertanyaan untuk mendapatkan jawaban berganda. Dari hasil penelitian, ditunjukkan bahwa dalam praktik berbahasa di Kabupaten Ciamis, generasi milenial masih tetap menempatkan bahasa Sunda sebagai alat komunikasi di setiap ranahnya dengan intensitas yang bervariasi. Sikap pemertahanan bahasa Sunda oleh kalangan milenial di Kabupaten Ciamis, ProvinsiJawa Barat sejauh ini dapat dikategorikan baik. Hal tersebut menunjukkan bahwa bahasa Sunda di kalangan milenial di Kabupaten Ciamis, masih menunjukkan eksistensinya, khususnya pada ranah kekeluargaan, kekariban, dan ketetanggaan.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the interpretation of interaction messages in Carat's celebrity worship behavior towards Seventeen on the Weverse application. The research method employed is qualitative with a phenomenological approach. Data was collected through in-depth interviews with Carat users on Weverse in Indonesia, direct observation on the Weverse application, and consultations with experts for data validity. The results of the study indicate that Carat interprets Seventeen's messages based on their expectations or happiness, creating a sense of closeness or a relationship beyond being mere fans and their idols. These findings align with symbolic interaction theory and reflect an intense-personal level in celebrity worship behavior.

Abstract

The emergence and popularity of CrossFit in Indonesia have challenged conventional fitness norms and gender expectations, potentially contributing to heightened confidence levels among Indonesian women. The advent of social media platforms like Instagram has further amplified these shifts. This research aims to investigate how women CrossFit exercisers in Indonesia engage in social comparisons on Instagram, specifically examining the role of this social media platform within the CrossFit context. By addressing a notable research gap in the literature, this study employs a comprehensive survey incorporating seven distinct scales and 50 carefully crafted questions. These measures aim to assess social comparison behavior, self-confidence, feelings of superiority, and patterns of Instagram usage among women involved in CrossFit activities in Indonesia. Correlation analysis is utilized as a statistical tool to test the research hypotheses. The findings of this study reveal multiple highly significant outcomes, providing a comprehensive understanding of the Indonesian CrossFit community. These findings shed light on important facets such as women CrossFit exercisers’ engagement with Instagram, the prevalence of social comparison tendencies, and levels of self-confidence within this population. However, further investigation is necessary to gain deeper insights into the intricate interplay between social comparison, Instagram usage patterns, and the experiences of women participating in CrossFit activities, particularly within the Indonesian context.

Abstract

This research aims to find out the strategy for winning the Plaza Senayan social media marketing pitch by Clay Creative House. This research uses a qualitative method with a descriptive study approach and data collection is carried out through in-depth interviews and documentation. The research results show that in responding to the social media marketing brief provided by Plaza Senayan, Clay Creative House went through previous research stages to ensure that Clay Creative House had prepared itself with sufficient background information to better understand the client's needs. Apart from that, in preparing the process of working on Plaza Senayan's social media marketing pitch deck, Clay Creative House organized it by carefully analyzing the social media marketing brief provided by Plaza Senayan to then translate it into specific tasks and job descriptions. As for carrying out the idea filtering process while working on Plaza Senayan's social media marketing pitch deck, Clay Creative House filters the ideas that have been raised by implementing a combination of control and creativity carried out by the project manager. There are several activities carried out by Clay Creative House during the process of working on Plaza Senayan's social media marketing pitch deck which are categorized into a creative process which includes initiation, knowledge distribution, polyphony, imagination, idea formulation, and consolidation. The structure of content preparation in the pitch deck proposal presentation slides is also prepared based on the AIDA approach where the introductory part of the proposal uses a persuasive approach through narrative storytelling to get attention, then uses data descriptions and strategy visualization to attract interest, after that a presentation of strategy implementation and content mockups to build a sense urgency, needs and desires of the client, and finally the implementation of the slogan in the closing as a form of CTA to encourage action (conversion). Meanwhile, in direct presentations to clients, Clay Creative House implements aspects of mutual attentiveness, positivity and coordination which enable them to implement adjustments to the character and interaction style of the interlocutor, namely Plaza Senayan.

Abstract

The era of globalization has encouraged rapid advances in internet technology, including the emergence of YouTube social media. YouTube is used as a forum for accessing various types of entertainment videos, exchanging information and promotional tools, especially among generation Z. This strategy is implemented by Marjan products, which always produce advertisements before the arrival of Ramadan. In 2023, the Marjan advertisement will highlight the story of Baruna the Guardian of the Ocean which uses CGI technology effects with an increase in viewership compared to last year and is able to make Marjan the best-selling syrup product (top 1 brand) in Indonesia in Ramadhan 2023. Therefore, this research This was done to find out whether there is an influence and how much influence the Marjan 2023 advertisement on YouTube has on brand awareness among generation Z in Jakarta. This research is quantitative research. The population in this research is viewers of the Marjan 2023 advertisement on YouTube among generation Z who live in Jakarta with a sample size of 100 respondents. The data analysis methods used are Pearson correlation coefficient test analysis, T test, simple linear regression test, and determination test. linear. The conclusion results of this research illustrate that there is an influence of the attractiveness of the Marjan 2023 advertisement on Brand Awareness among generation Z in Jakarta which shows the results of the T test with a significance value of 0.00<0.05. With an influence size of 77.4%, while 22.6% is influenced by other variables not examined in this research.

Abstract

Latar Belakang: Instagram adalah salah satu media sosial yang sering digunakan saat ini, khususnya oleh generasi milenial usia 18-24 tahun, di dalam Instagram pun terdapat berbagai fitur, salah satunya adalah fitur closefriend. Fitur closefriend merupakan fitur yang memungkinkan penggunanya dapat membagikan berbagai informasi dengan orang-orang yang telah mereka pilih untuk di masukan kedalam fitur tersebut. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui motif Mahasiswa Bandung-Jatinangor dalam melakukan self disclosure pada fitur closefriend, mengetahui pengalaman Mahasiswa Bandung-Jatinangor dalam melakukan self disclosure pada fitur closefriend hingga bagaimana Mahasiswa Bandung-Jatinangor memaknai self disclosure yang dilakukannya pada fitur closefriend. . Metode yang digunakan oleh peneliti dalam penelitian ini adalah metode fenomenologi, dimana peneliti melakukan observasi, wawancara dan studi kepustakaan untuk mendapatkan data penelitian. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ditemukan bahwa terdapat faktor yang dapat memotivasi seseorang untuk melakukan self disclosure pada fitur closefriend seperti besaran kelompok, perasaan menyukai, efek diadik, kompetensi, kepribadian, topik dan jenis kelamin. Selain itu setiap individu memiliki tingkat keterbukaan dan batasan privasi yang berbeda-beda. Self disclosure yang dilakukan pada fitur closefriend dilandasi dengan kepercayaan, rasa aman dan nyaman. Fitur closefriend memungkinkan penggunanya untuk dapat lebih berekspresi dan menjadi apa adanya dikarenakan di dalam fitur tersebut hanya berisikan orang-orang yang telah dipercaya. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa fitur closefriend menjadi wadah yang aman untuk melakukan self disclosure. Abstract

Pertukaran dan perkembangan informasi seputar covid-19 di masa pandemi menjadi hal yang sangat penting, baik bagi kalangan akademisi, peneliti, praktisi, stakeholder, dan masyarakat umum. Mahasiswa yang merupakan bagian dari masyarakat adalah agen edukasi serta perubahan yang mampu memberikan kontribusi nyata dan warna pada masyarakat, khususnya di kalangan generasi muda. Salah satu upaya yang dapat dilakukan oleh mahasiswa adalah dengan menjadi edukator seputar pandemi yang mumpuni, informatif, dan komunikatif. Hal tersebut, salah satunya, dapat dilakukan melalui edukasi berbasis poster. Kegiatan pelatihan dilakukan secara sistematis, dari kegiatan yang bersifat teoretis hingga praktis, yaitu dengan menggunakan metode ceramah, tanya jawab, praktik, dan brainstorming. Peserta pelatihan adalah mahasiswa bilingual Sunda-Indonesia di Fakultas Ilmu Budaya Universitas Padjadjaran. Pengabdian pada masyarakat ini dilaksanakan dalam bentuk pelatihan membuat poster yang komunikatif dan informatif seputar Covid-19 bagi mahasiswa bilingual Sunda-Indonesia di Fakultas Ilmu Budaya Universitas Padjadjaran.
