Abstract

Latar Belakang: Dismenore adalah nyeri haid yang disebabkan oleh pelepasan prostaglandin yang berlebihan. Ini meningkatkan kontraksi rahim, yang menyebabkan rasa sakit saat menstruasi. Apabila dismenore tidak ditangani, dapat mengakibatkan terganggunya seorang perempuan yang sedang mengalaminya. Oleh karena itu, perlu dilakukan pendidikan kesehatan tentang dismenore. Dengan menggunakan media sosial seperti Instagram, semua orang dapat mengakses materi dari pendidikan kesehatan tentang dismenore. Tujuan: Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan media sosial Instagram menjadi media edukasi terhadap peningkatan pengetahuan tentang dismenore. Metode: Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian menggunakan kuantitatif pendekatan studi intervensi/studi eksperimen, dengan metode pre eksperimental dan perencanaan yang digunakan adalah one group pretest dan posttest design dengan jumlah sampel 68 responden. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan penyebaran lembar kuesioner. Hasil: Penelitian ini menggunakan uji non parametrik yaitu uji Wilcoxon didapatkan hasil signifikan p0.001. Simpulan: Berarti terdapat pengaruh pendidikan kesehatan berbasis media sosial Instagram (Social Media Campaign) tentang dismenore terhadap tingkat pengetahuan remaja putri di SMA Negeri X.

Abstract

Background: Pregnancy is one of the things expected by women in the process of life. However, many women experience difficulties due to physical, social, and psychological changes during pregnancy, there are even some mothers who suffer from psychological disorders such as depression. Perinatal depression occurs in 10-15% of women. One of the causes is a lack of knowledge about the process of pregnancy until the postpartum period which results in birth complications and disrupts the baby's growth and development. Purpose: This study aimed to identify the characteristic factors of respondents associated with prenatal depression. Methods: This research is a quantitative research that uses a cross-sectional design. The sample in this study was 85 respondents of pregnant women using the Edinburgh Postnatal Depression Scale (EPDS) screening tool. Results: The results of this study showed that the factors associated with the incidence of depression in pregnant women were education (p = 0.011), income (P = 0.046), history of domestic violence (p = 0.028), and pregnancy complications (p = 0.043) while the unrelated factors were age (P = 0.098), occupation (P = 0.829) and parity (p = 0.139) with α = 0.05. Conclusion: Education, income, history of domestic violence and history of pregnancy complications affect the incidence of depression in pregnant women. Recommendations: It is expected that the team of health workers, especially midwives and nurses, will not only focus on physical health but mental health also needs attention, and is expected to provide screening services and pregnancy psychology services to identify patients at risk of depression. Abstract

Introduction: Marital satisfaction, which includes aspects of communication, emotional intimacy, partner support, and quality of interaction, is believed to play an important role in maternal mental health after childbirth. This dissatisfaction can increase feelings of loneliness, stress, and anxiety, all of which can worsen the mental state of the postpartum mother. Women who experience dissatisfaction in their marital relationships have a higher tendency to experience postpartum depression. The prevalence of depressive disorders in the world population is 3-8% with 50% of cases occurring at the productive age of 20-50 years. World Health Organization. (WHO) states that depressive disorder affects 20% of women and 12% of men at some point in life. Objective: To find out if there is a relationship between marital satisfaction and the incidence of postpartum depression in East Bekasi. Methods: This study is an analytical study, meaning a study that aims to see the relationship or influence in the form of analytical descriptive research with a crossectional approach using the chisquere test, Research results: the results of the Chi-Square Statistical Test obtained a p-Value of 0.043 (p-value <0.05) so that Ha was accepted by Ho and rejected which means that there is a meaningful relationship between marital satisfaction and depression in postpartum mothers. Bottom Line: Women who are dissatisfied with their marriage are more at risk of postpartum depression. These findings are in line with many previous studies that show that the quality of a marital relationship can affect a mother's mental well-being after childbirth. Therefore, it is important to pay attention to the aspect of marital satisfaction as part of efforts to prevent postpartum depression.

Abstract

Postpartum is a time when many changes in women after childbirth, both physiological, psychological, and sociocultural and spiritual changes take place. Complex physical and emotional changes require adaptation to the life pattern following the labor process and the new role of the woman becoming a mother. Social support and communication are needed to prevent depression, doe to various changes after childbirth. The use of digital applications is a media that can increase support,communication between fellow members to share experiences. Studies have proved that digital applications can prevent depression from occurring in the past teachers. This Study aim to view the effectiveness of digital use of apps in preventing postpartum depression. The authors conducted a simple literacy study of 10 articles on the digital adoption of postpartum depression in 2015-2020. The result obtained are: digital applications are able to assist mother in getting access to timely information, can provide convenience in finding information, helps mothers access information on time, may be helpful in locating information, and it helps to prevent postpartum depression. Based on these findings, digital applications are needed to be devolved in nursing services to facilitate communication and education to the community, especially postpartum mothers to prevent depression postpartum

Abstract

Metode Brine Shrimp Lethality Test (BSLT) merupakan teknik yang digunakan untuk mengevaluasi potensi toksisitas awal suatu senyawa berdasarkan kemampuan mematikan larva Artemia salina. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui potensi efek sitotoksik dari ekstrak daun pisang ambon (Musa paradisiaca) melalui uji BSLT. Penelitian menggunakan desain eksperimental uji toksisitas secara in vivo Brine Shrimp Lethality Test (BSLT) dengan larva A. salina sebagai subjek, dan dilakukan di Laboratorium Biomedik Universitas Medika Suherman pada periode 16 Agustus hingga 13 September 2024. Uji dilakukan pada beberapa konsentrasi ekstrak yaitu 500, 100, 50, dan 10 ppm, masing-masing dengan tiga kali pengulangan dan kontrol. Observasi dilakukan pada interval waktu 6, 12, 18, dan 24 jam. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan regresi linear dan metode probit. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa ekstrak daun pisang ambon memiliki nilai LC50 sebesar 272,13 ppm. Kesimpulannya, ekstrak ini menunjukkan aktivitas sitotoksik sedang dan berpotensi untuk dikembangkan lebih lanjut dalam penelitian farmakologis dan toksikologis.
