Abstract

Beberapa tahun terakhir pemerintah Kota Parepare mengupayakan meningkatkan hasil pertanian di Kota Parepare terutama pada produksi tanaman Jagung. Tahun (2012-2013) terjadi peningkatan produktivitas, namun pada tahun 2014 tidak ada produksi karena tidak melakukan penanaman. Hal ini terjadi disebabkan kurangnya pasokan benih kepada masyarakat dan respon masyarakat tentang penanaman jagung hibrida sangat kurang dikarenakan sebagian besar dari mereka adalah seorang buruh jasa. Pada tahun (2015-2016) produksi jagung meningkat yaitu tahun 2015 sebesar 2097 ton dan tahun 2016 sebesar 4.776 ton dengan rincian Kecamatan yang paling banyak memproduksi adalah daerah Kecamatan Bacukiki. tujuan penelitian ini adalah Berapa jumlah saluran pemasaran jagung hibrida pada kelompok tani Mitra di Kecamatan Bacukiki Kota Parepare dan bagaimana efisiensi pemasaran jagung hibrida pada kelompok tani Mitra di Kecamatan Bacukiki Kota Parepare. Berdasarkan hasil analisis maka terdapat dua pola pemasaran pada Kelompok Tani Mitra di Kelurahan Lemoe yaitu: pola saluran pemasaran I (Petani – Konsumen) dan pola saluran II (Petani – Pedagang Besar – Pedagang Pengecer - Konsumen). Dari kedua pola saluran pemasaran maka pola saluran pertama yang dianggap paling efektif dan sering dipergunakan oleh petani dalam memasarkan hasil pertanian setiap musim panen. Berdasarkan total marjin maka pola saluran pemasaran ke I (Petani - Konsumen) merupakan pola saluran pemasaran yang efisien karena memiliki share margin terkecil yaitu 7,85% dengan total keuntunga Rp. 229 per kilogramnya.

Abstract

Kabupaten Barru merupakan salah satu daerah penghasil rumput laut terbesar di Sulawesi Selatan. Keberlanjutan budidaya rumput laut dipengaruhi oleh berbagai faktor, diantaranya ekologi, ekonomi, sosial, kelembagaan dan teknologi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk analisis status keberlanjutan budidaya rumput laut di Kabupaten Barru. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan Multidimensional Scalling (MDS) yang dianalisis dengan RAP-SEAWEED. Beberapa parameter dari masing-masing dimensi dianalisis untuk menilai kondisi eksisting usaha budidaya rumput laut di Kabupaten Barru. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan budidaya rumput laut di Kabupaten Barru tergolong dalam kategori cukup berkelanjutan (quite sustainable) pada dimensi sosial dan dimensi teknologi dan tergolong kategori kurang berkelanjutan (less sustainable) pada dimensi kelembagaan, dimensi ekonomi, dan dimensi ekologi. Analisis parameter menggunakan nilai stress, R-Square, dan monte carlo menunjukkan keakuratan model dan atribut layak untuk digunakan dalam analisis. Hasil analisis status keberlanjutan yang masih tergolong kategori kurang perlu dibenahi dengan memperhatikan beberapa atribut yang memiliki sensitifitas tinggi pada analisis leverage. Evaluasi atribut untuk peningkatan skor keberlanjutan dapat menjadi pertimbangan dasar dalam merumuskan strategi pengelolaan berkelanjutan budidaya rumput laut di Kabupaten Barru.

Abstract

The title of this research is Market Segmentation Analysis on Consumer Loyalty (Case Study of My Cake Shop Pekkabata, Duampanua District, Pinrang Regency). The cake is a food commonly consumed by the community, namely dough consisting of flour, eggs, sugar, raising agents, and milk. It can usually be decorated with buttercream, chocolate, and so on. Currently, cakes sold on the market have different shapes, qualities, and tastes. The more the era develops, the more technology, equipment, knowledge, and materials are used to develop. The objectives of this study are: 1. To determine the partial significant influence of consumer behavior, demographic, and psychographic factors on consumer loyalty at My Cake Shop. 2. To determine the simultaneous significant influence of behavioral, demographic, and psychographic factors on consumer loyalty at My Cake Shop. The sampling method uses (purposive sampling) with certain considerations and criteria. The data collection methods in this study are observation, questionnaires, and documentation. Instrument testing is done by testing the validation and reliability using the SPSS version 26 program and analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis techniques. So the results of the study indicate that market segmentation of consumer loyalty at My Cake Shop consisting of demographic, psychographic, and behavioral variables has a significant effect partially, and consumer loyalty variables simultaneously have an effect on consumer loyalty at My Cake Shop.

Abstract

Cocoa is one of the leading commodities that plays an important role in the Indonesian economy, especially in the agribusiness and agro-industry sectors. South Sulawesi, as one of the main producers of cocoa beans in Indonesia, is facing changes in the marketing pattern of cocoa beans, especially in Pinrang Regency. This study aims to analyze the factors that affect farmers' decisions in the marketing of wet cocoa beans, the steps taken in its distribution, and the obstacles faced by farmers in Tapporang Village, Batulappa District. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The research informants consisted of farmer group leaders, village heads, middlemen, and agricultural extension workers. The results of the study show that the change in marketing patterns from dried cocoa beans to wet cocoa beans is influenced by weather factors, market access, and economic benefits. Farmers face obstacles in the form of price fluctuations, dependence on middlemen, and limited processing facilities. Strategies implemented by farmers in dealing with these obstacles include increasing access to market information and collaboration with stakeholders. This study provides insights for policymakers in designing interventions that support cocoa marketing stability in rural areas.

Abstract

The Wae Tuoe Fishermen Group in Pinrang Regency is a coastal community located in Suppa District, Pinrang Regency, South Sulawesi Province, where the majority of the population relies on marine resources for their livelihood. The bagang is a structure made of wood or bamboo located in the middle of the sea, about 500 meters to 2 kilometers from the shore, used by fishermen to catch or store fish. The bagang has great potential but is not optimally utilized by fishermen as a source of livelihood and economic improvement. This is because the fish catch is maximized at night. The limited lighting, which could help optimize the fishing process, is due to the restricted availability of electricity from generators. The development of solar cell technology, which can generate and store electricity, is a new breakthrough in the use of renewable energy. The use of solar cells is expected to provide an energy source for lighting on the bagang, allowing fishermen to maximize their activities at night. The solar cell lighting system is designed to supply six light points with a capacity of 5 x 50 watts operating at night from 7:00 PM to 4:00 AM. The design of the PLTS, which consists of two solar panels with a capacity of 550 Wp, four 12 V batteries with a capacity of 100 Ah, and a 1000-watt inverter, is expected to provide electricity as a lighting source for the bagang during the night. After conducting counseling and training on solar power plant (PLTS) technology, 18 out of 20 members of the Wae Tuoe Fishermen Group gained knowledge about the utilization, design, installation process, usage, and maintenance of PLTS technology.

Abstract

Coffee is a strategic commodity that contributes significantly to Indonesia's national economy. However, most of Indonesia's coffee exports are still in the form of raw beans (green beans), so the added value of the product has not been optimally felt by the local farming community. This study aims to examine the practice of community-based coffee roasting developed by the people of Bone-Bone Village, Baraka District, Enrekang Regency, as a strategy for downstreaming local coffee products and economic empowerment based on regional potential. The method used is a qualitative approach with case studies, through participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The results of the study show that the roasting practice in this village is carried out traditionally with techniques that are inherited from generation to generation, but are able to produce competitive distinctive flavors. The community utilizes social capital in the form of trust and collaboration in maintaining the quality of products collectively. Despite facing challenges such as limited infrastructure and technology, the practice demonstrates local resilience and innovation in coffee processing. The results of this study conclude that community-based roasting practices have the potential to increase economic value and strengthen local cultural identity, and are suitable as a replication model for the development of the coffee industry in other regions.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the level of awareness of traders on the safety of fresh food of plant origin (PSAT) at Lakessi Market, Parepare City, focusing on the commodity of shallots (Allium ascalonicum L.) and red chili peppers (Capsicum annuum L.) of the importance of food safety for public health and product quality. The research method uses a qualitative descriptive approach through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation of traders and the Parepare City Food Security Office. The results of the study showed that most merchants assess the feasibility of a product only from visual aspects such as color and texture, without considering the risk of chemical or biological contamination. Prevention efforts are carried out through manual sorting and arranging products on the table so that they do not come into direct contact with the floor, but the condition of the market that is muddy, dusty, and crowded with visitors remains a big challenge. The Food Security Agency has conducted field inspections and laboratory tests on red chili samples, which showed the presence of pesticide residues, although the testing is still qualitative. These findings confirm the need to raise traders' awareness through ongoing education, technical mentoring, and the implementation of post-harvest good practices (GHPs) to ensure the safety of the PSAT. Collaboration between traders and local governments is the key in ensuring safe, healthy, and quality food reaches consumers, while increasing the competitiveness of traditional market products.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor internal dan eksternal dalam strategi pengembangan usaha kue tradisional jipang pada toko Anugrah. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Kelurahan Pekkabata Kecamatan Duampanuan Kabupaten Pinrang selama 1 bulan terhitung mulai Juli – Agustus. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu metode kualitatif menggunakan dengan analisis strength, weakness, opportunity dan thread (SWOT). Responden penelitian ini berasal dari ahli pakar, pemilik usaha, dan 3 orang konsumen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa posisi usaha kue tradisional kue tradisional jipang toko Anugrah berada pada kotak sel I, yang menggunakan metode SWOT. Nilai IFAS berada pada titik 3,16 dan nilai EFAS 3,17 yang menggambarkan bahwa usaha kue tradisional jipang pada toko Anugrah tumbuh kembang, selanjutnya berdasarkan matriks SWOT posisi usaha berada pada sumbu X dengan titik 1,88 dan sumbu Y 1,99 yang terdapat pada kuadranI. Hal ini menunjukkan bahawa usaha tersebut berada pada posisi kuat dan menggunakan strategi agresif (SO), yaitu tingkatkan dan kembangkan kualitas dan kuantitas produk, selalu menciptakan inovasi baru dalam usaha, memanfaatkan jejaring sosial dan promosi digital marketing

Abstract

Measurement and monitoring of environmental parameters in agricultural soil are needed to understand the condition of agricultural land. The measurement of agricultural land is mostly still done manually, resulting in low accuracy levels, requiring significant time and effort, and not providing periodic measurement results. The variation in soil characteristics and the limitations of tools also hinder the effectiveness of measurements, making the use of modern technology increasingly important. In this research, a system has been designed to measure environmental parameters of agricultural soil in real-time. The designed system consists of soil moisture sensors and soil pH sensors integrated with the ESP32 microcontroller. The system comprises of two main parts: a sensor node that have functions to acquire sensor data and a web application that displays the measurement results. Initial testing was conducted by calibrating and validating data for each sensor used. Subsequent testing involved sending the measurement data of environmental parameters of agricultural soil to a database for display on an Internet of Things-based application. The test results showed that the agricultural soil was read as wet when the soil moisture sensor readings indicated values of 78–100%. For the pH sensor testing, the average error was found to be 5.67%.Pengukuran dam pemantauan parameter lingkungan tanah pertanian dibutuhkan untuk mengetahui kondisi tanah pertanian. Pengukuran tanah pertanian sebagian besar masih dilakukan secara manual sehingga tingkat akurasi pengukuran masih rendah, membutuhkan waktu dan tenaga yang besar dan tidak mendapatkan hasil pengukuran secara berkala. Variasi karakteristik tanah dan keterbatasan alat juga menghambat efektivitas pengukuran, sehingga penggunaan teknologi modern menjadi semakin penting. Pada penelitian ini dirancang sebuah sistem yang dapat melakukan pengukuran parameter lingkungan tanah pertanian secara real-time. Sistem yang dirancang terdiri dari sensor kelembaban tanah dan sensor pH tanah yang terintegrasi dengan perangkat mikrokontroler ESP32. Sistem terdiri dari dua bagian utama yaitu sensor node yang berfungsi untuk melakukan akuisisi data sensor dan aplikasi web yang berfungsi untuk menampilkan hasil pengukuran. Pengujian awal dilakukan dengan melakukan kalibrasi dan validasi data untuk setiap sensor yang digunakan. Pengujian selanjutnya dilakukan dengan menguji pengiriman data hasil pengukuran parameter lingkungan tanah pertanian ke database untuk ditampilkan pada aplikasi berbasis Internet of Things. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa tanah pertanian terbaca basah ketika hasil pembacaan sensor kelembaban tanah menunjukkan nilai 78 – 100%. Untuk pengujian sensor pH menghasilkan nilai error dengan rata-rata sebesar 5.67%.
