Abstract

This study aims to explore the emotional regulation skills of children in Harapan Community Semarang through the snakes and ladders game intervention. The method used is a participatory approach that involves children in fun game activities, so that they can learn to manage emotions in a more adaptive way. The results showed that children who previously showed maladaptive and aggressive behavior began to understand the importance of emotional regulation, such as holding back when angry and seeking help from adults. The snakes and ladders game activity not only created a relaxed atmosphere, but also provided space for children to learn cooperatively and build positive relationships with peers. Although this intervention was successful, there were some limitations, such as the constraints of setting children in a crowded environment and the short implementation time. This study concludes that a game-based approach can be an effective tool in improving children's emotional intelligence, especially in communities with limited resources, and emphasizes the need for ongoing support from parents to strengthen emotional regulation at home.

Abstract

A construction company in Karangpilang received a Pressure Vessel project. This project is delayed from the predetermined date so that a fine of 0.2% is imposed every day. So it is necessary to analyze project scheduling in order to get the maximum time and cost in this project. The methods used in this research are Time Cost Trade Off (TCTO), Precedence Diagram Method (PDM) and crashing. Acceleration is carried out on critical trajectories namely Marking/Catting, Rolling, Fit-Up, Welding, NDT, Primary Blasting and Top Coat. This study uses alternatives to increase over time and additional manpower. In this study, the maximum time and cost results were obtained with an alternative of 25% additional manpower. The resulting accelerated duration is 51 days faster than the actual duration, with costs incurred of Rp. 199,616,473, -, resulting in a decrease of 70% from the actual duration cost of Rp. 286,961,745, -. S curve analysis shows that the accelerated duration can be completed faster than the actual duration because the project can be completed on December 27, 2021. Where the accelerated duration is closer to the planned duration, namely November 26, 2021.

Abstract

Tujuan Penelitian  ialah guna mengetahui bagaimana gaya pengajaran TGfU mempengaruhi kemampuan siswa kelas IV saat melakukan gerakan berguling tubuh ke depan di Sekolah Dasar Negeri Marabahan 2. Kurangnya antusiasme serta kecemasan siswa dalam belajar gerakan menggulingkan tubuh ke depan menyebabkan kinerja yang buruk di kelas. Studi memanfaatkan desain pretest-posttest beserta satu kelompok , serta model pra-eksperimental. Jumlah peserta studi 48 siswa, beserta 23 siswa dipilih secara tidak acak melalui purposive sampling. instrument digunakan adalah tes keterampilan berguling ke depan, sedangkan kajian data dilakukan memanfaatkan SPSS 25. Skor rata-rata meningkat dari 2,078 pada pretest jadi 3,291 pada posttest, menggambarkan peningkatan yang signifikan. Perbedaan yang signifikan antara data pra-tes serta pasca-tes digambarkan t-tes sampel berpasangan, menghasilkan skor signifikansi 0,000 (p < 0,05). Paradigma pembelajaran TGfU terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan dasar berguling ke depan siswa dengan menawarkan pembelajaran kontekstual, pendekatan holistik, serta meningkatkan motivasi siswa melalui aktivitas yang menarik. Hal ini digambarkan peningkatan senilai 58,4%.

Abstract

The Ruwat Desa tradition in Pidodo Kulon has significant spiritual and social importance in maintaining food security and strengthening solidarity among the agrarian community. This study aims to understand how the Ruwat Desa ritual is integrated with agricultural strategies, as well as to examine the role of KKN students in these activities. The method used is descriptive qualitative through observation, interviews, and literature study. The research findings indicate that the community views the Ruwat Desa ritual as a spiritual endeavor that complements technical agricultural efforts, particularly when facing pest threats. The procession of agricultural products is not only a means of expressing gratitude but also strengthens the values of mutual aid and social bonds. The involvement of KKN students adds a dimension of service, as they not only provide technical assistance but also help preserve the continuity of the tradition. Thus, Ruwat Desa serves not only as a cultural heritage but also as a collective strategy for the community to strengthen food security and has the potential to be developed as sustainable cultural tourism.
