Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkapkan bentuk dan makna interjeksi yang terdapat pada akun youtube “malam malam net”, serta melihat bagaimana clickbait headline digunakan pada akun youtube yang saat ini sering terjadi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif, yaitu mendeskripsikan secara tepat jenis-jenis interjeksi, penggunaan interjeksi, serta penggunaan clickbait headline yang digunakan. Bentuk interjeksi yang digunakan yakni : hey, balik aing, sst, wah, eh, kok, lah, ampun dah, yaelah, ah elah, aduh, dah, loh, aduh biyung, wow, waduh, hah, yaa, duh, oh, wih, hmm, mah, deh, nih, sih. Hasil penelitian ini adalah ditemukan adanya kelompok makna interjeksi yaitu interjeksi yang menyatakan peringatan, interjeksi ekspresi keheranan, interjeksi ekspresi kekhawatiran, interjeksi ekspresi terkejut, interjeksi menunjukkan kepasrahan, interjeksi menunjukkan baru mengetahui sesuatu, interjeksi ekspresi memikirkan sesuatu, dan interjeksi ekspresi menegaskan suatu keadaan atau perilaku. Kata Kunci : Interjeksi, Clickbait Headline, Malam Malam Net ABSTRACT This study aims to reveal the form and meaning of the interjection contained in the YouTube account "Malam Malam Net", and see how clickbait headlines are used on YouTube accounts that currently often occur. This research used descriptive qualitative research methods. The method aims to describe precisely the types of interjection, the use of interjection, and the use of the clickbait headline used. The form of interjections used are: hey, balik aing, sst, wah, eh, kok, lah, ampun dah, yaelah, ah elah, aduh, dah, loh, aduh biyung, wow, waduh, hah, yaa, duh, oh, wih, hmm, mah, deh, nih, sih. Through this study, it is found that there is a group of interjection meanings namely interjection which states warning, interjection of expression of wonder, interjection of expression of concern, interjection of expression of surprise, interjection shows resignation, interjection shows new knowledge, interjection of expression of thought of something, and interjection expression of affection expresses a state situation or behavior. Abstract

The objective of the research was to find the types of signs, to identify denotation, connotation, and myth, and to analyze the underlying social messages in the safety ride advertisement on the #cari_aman safety riding video. The research data used verbal and visual data sourced from youtube platform tagged #cari_aman which is safety riding campaign advertisement of the motorcycle manufacture named Honda. The research employs a descriptive qualitative method by adopting an interactive model and qualitative data analysis procedure proposed by Miles and Huberman. The data analysis used the theory of sign perspective in semiotics by Pierce and semiotic perspective by Barthes. The results show that the types of signs in semiotics which are used in the data are icon (63%) which is the most dominant one, index (22%) and symbol (13%). The denotation is manifested by interpreting the situation in the research data with subjective feelings or emotions and the meaning of myth is manifested by conceptualizing or understanding the research data into the culture that develops in society. The research finds that the underlying social meaning is delivered by containing the events close to young people’s daily life using kinesic meaning through body movement; proxemics meaning through adjusting distance and space; artifactual meaning through body image; and paralinguistic through pronunciation way of verbal message.

Abstract

Lingkungan hutan mangrove merupakan hal yang penting bagi keberlangsungan hidup manusia terkhusunya bagi masyarakat pesisir. Desa Nelayan Seberang merupakan desa yang memiliki potensi yang sangat baik dalam kelestarian menjaga lingkungan. Kawasan hutan mangrove di desa tersebut berperan dalam mencukupi kebutuhan masyarakat pesisir. Kebutuhan masyarakat berupa mata pencaharian yang dominan sebagai nelayan, pemanfaatan ekonomi berupa hasil ikan yang meningkat. Banyaknya aktivitas masyarakat pesisir dapat menyebabkan penurunan kualitas lingkungan bagi hutan mangrove di desa tersebut. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini merupakan kegiatan sosialisasi yang bertujuan untuk memberikan pemahaman kepada masyarakat pesisir Desa Nelayan Seberang tentang manfaat hutan mangrove sebagai pembangunan berkelanjutan, dan peran hutan mangrove bagi masyarakat pesisir. Kegiatan ini dilakukan di Desa Nelayan Seberang Belawan yang dihadiri oleh kelompok nelayan dan masyarakat desa. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini meningkatkan kesadaran dari masyarakat peisir untuk menjaga lingkungan hutan mangrove agar dapat dirasakan oleh generasi penerusnya serta masyarakat mengetahui bagaimana menjaga lingkungan hutan mangrove agar tidak terjadi kerusakan dan pencemaran yang berdampak pada kesehatan masyarkaat pesisir.

Abstract

This study explores the syntax-morphology interface, focusing on how internal word structure influences sentence construction across languages. It investigates the ways in which morphological processes—such as affixation, reduplication, and inflection—interact with syntactic behavior, shaping how words function within phrases and sentences. Drawing from theoretical frameworks and cross-linguistic data, the analysis reveals that word form is not merely an internal or isolated phenomenon, but one that plays a crucial role in determining grammatical relations, argument structure, and agreement patterns. For instance, morphological variations in verb forms can directly affect subject-object positioning and syntactic valency. These findings underscore the interdependence between morphology and syntax, suggesting that a comprehensive understanding of one requires close attention to the other. This research contributes to the refinement of generative linguistic theory and offers insights into the typological diversity of language structure.

Abstract

Social media has become a strategic medium in modern communication, including for the sustainable promotion of products and services. Recognizing the importance of practical communication skills on digital platforms, this community service activity aimed to provide training for the Karang Taruna Dwikora Medan on socialization of using English and Indonesian for sustainable promotion on social media. The training was conducted over two days using a participatory approach, involving presentations, discussions, and hands-on practice. The materials covered include using social media as a promotional tool, techniques for creating sustainable content, and language strategies such as code-switching, bilingual hashtags, and content adaptation based on the platform. This activity showed a significant increase in participants' understanding and ability to design engaging and relevant promotional content for local and international audiences, with an 85% improvement in knowledge based on pretest and posttest evaluations. The participants' enthusiasm and active participation demonstrated this program's success in raising awareness of the importance of adaptive and inclusive communication strategies in the digital age. This activity made a real contribution to youth empowerment by mastering digital communication skills oriented toward sustainability.
