Abstract

This research is motivated by competition brand in Low car segment MPV. Suzuki brand car sales in 2013 based Gaikindo be in the top four nationally and has yet to reach a specified target. In particular, this study discusses the Low MPV Suzuki APV cars at PT . Arindo gedong Jembar Tegal that sales decreased in the last two years.    The purpose of research to determine the influence of brand image and promotion on purchase decisions Suzuki APV (Studies in PT. Arindo Gedong Jembar Tegal). This research method is explanatory, data collection techniques by questionnaires, observation, and literature study. Purposive sampling technique is used with a sample of 78 people. The analysis technique used was qualitative and quantitative using validity, reliability test, correlation coefficient, simple and multiple regression analysis, the coefficient of determination, cross tabulation, and the significance test ( t test and F test ).    Results and discussion showed a positive influence on the brand image on purchasing decisions. Promotion positive influence on purchase decisions. Brand image and promotion jointly positive influence on purchasing decisions.    Suggestions in this study ,PT. Arindo Gedong Jembar should enhance the brand image of Suzuki APVby improve after-sales service, increase understanding of the explanation of product knowledge Suzuki APV, and also increases the intensity of the promotion through social media, outdoor media, sponsorship and giving special training about technique of delivering information for salesman and verbally skills in conveying information in order to increase the purchase of Suzuki APV cars.

Abstract

This study aimed to identify the influence of motivation and discipline on employee productivity of  production department PT.FUMIRA Semarang. This study used an explanatory research approach to the 83 respondents to the census approach. The data were analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively using test validity, reliability testing, cross-table analysis, the correlation coefficient, simple linear regression, multiple linear regression, the coefficient of determination, t test and F test with tools SPSS 18 for windows. The results obtained are the motivation and discipline, positive impact on employee productivity, and discipline variables are variables that affect the greatest impact on employee productivity.

Abstract

Employee performance is affected by several factors, among which is the appropriate compensation, high work discipline and motivation to work well. This research aims to know and explain the effect of compensation, work discipline and motivation of work on performance of employees part production PT Sai Apparel Industries. This research type is eksplanatory research. Using data collection techniques interviews, questionnaires and observation. The conclusion from this study is that there are influences between compensation, work discipline and motivation of work on performance of employees. Based on these conclusions, then companies need to pay attention to matters concerning the guarantee of the maintenance of health, level of attendance in work, level of compliance and the level of recognition of conformity of work with a defined procedure. So it is expected to improve the performance of employees.

Abstract

Human resource management plays an active role in improving employee performance through a number of variables that influence it, including motivation, work discipline, training and employee performance. PT. Nasmoco Pemuda Semarang is a private company which is engaged in the sale and repair of Toyota brand cars. But there are still some problem regarding employee performance workshop in PT. Nasmoco Pemuda Semarang who do not reach the standard. So that this research can provide insight about the constraints experienced by employees of the workshop PT. Nasmoco Pemuda Semarang.. This performance type of risearch is used an explanatory research approach to the 42 respondents with sampling techniques saturated. Data collection techniques in this study use interviews, questionnaires and literature study. The data obtained were analyzed quantitatively by using tools such as cross-table analysis, test validity, reliability testing, simple linear regression, multiple linear regression and hypothesis testing with the t test and F test. Results of statistical analysis known simple linear regression equation between motivation and performance of employees is Y = 13.710 + 0.274 X1, then the discipline of working with employee performance equation is Y = 12.280 + 0.563 X2. While the training with employee performance is Y = 17.258 + 0.438 X3. Together - equal influence motivation, work discipline and training on employee performance can be determined by using linear analysis. The result of the calculation is Y = 9.651 + 0.171 X1 + 0.190 X2 + 0.172 X3.The conclusion of this study is that there is a positive correlation between motivation, disilpin work and training on employee performance workshop part of PT. Nasmoco Pemuda Semarang. Recommendations for improving employee performance in order to improve the company's attention to motivation, work discipline and training that will ultimately improve the performance of employees.

Abstract

This research was motivated by fact that there’s a decline in consumers interest to watch movies in E-Plaza cinema since there’s new competitor emerged in Semarang, affected by lifestyle and price perception factors. This research is aimed to test the influence of activity, interest, opinion (AIO), and price perception towards consumers’ decision to watch movies at E-Plaza cinema Semarang. 100 people in Semarang were chosen as sample by non-probability sampling technique. Linear regression analysis and significance test were used to test the hypotheses using SPSS 17.0. The study results indicate that partially; activity has no influence towards consumer decision, whereas interest and opinion, in spite of having low effects, still has positive influence towards consumer’s decision. Price perception, as the biggest influencer, has positive and significant influence towards consumers’ decision. Simultaneously, activity, interest, opinion and price perception influences consumer’s decision at 48,1%.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of brand trust, switching cost, and customer satisfaction on consumer loyalty in the mobile phone brand Nokia students FISIP UNDIP force 2010 to 2012. The sample amounted to 81 respondents with a sampling technique used is purposive sampling. Based on the test results indicate that the simultaneous F variable brand trust, switching cost, and customer satisfaction has positive and significant impact on customer loyalty at 50.6% which means that customer loyalty can be explained by brand trust, switching cost, and customer satisfaction of 50.6 %, and the remaining 49.4% can be explained by other variables. Partially based on t test variables in this study have positive and significant switching costs which have the greatest influence in the amount of 32.9%, while the lowest brand trust has the effect of 7.3%. the recomendations can be given in this study is a need to improve the quality in response to customer complaints handling. the need to improve the quality of the Symbian system hang if the order is not easy to use and less prone to viruses. Increasing improvements in network systems in order not to lag in accessing the internet.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of product quality, brand citizen, and promotion on purchase decisions AQUA gallon in Semarang barat. Type of research used in this research is explanatory research with 100 respondents drawn using purposive sampling technique. The method of analysis used in this study using linear regression analysis using SPSS for windows. The result of research showed that quality of product has a significant effect (partial) on purchase decisions AQUA gallons in Semarang barat  18.2 percent. Citizen brand has a significant effect (partial) on purchase decisions AQUA gallon in Semarang barat  37.7 percent. Promotion also has a significant effect (partial) on purchase decisions AQUA Gallons in Semarang barat 8.6 percent. Quality of product, citizen brand and promotion simultaneously have the effect on purchase decisions AQUA Gallons in Semarang 37.9 percent

Abstract

Marketing product in business world have important role which connected to purchase decision. Purchasing decision can be triggered by store display which catch customers first impression. Therefore, create store atmosphere is needed for giving comfort to customers when they are in the store. All these aspects must be mutually support to achieve the purpose of Gramedia Pandanaran.The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of store display and store atmosphere on purchase decision at Gramedia Pandanaran Semarang. This research method is explanatory, with the technique of collecting data through interviews with questionnaires, observation, and study of literature. Accidental sampling and purposive sampling technique was used with a sample of 100 people. The analysis technique used is quantitative and qualitative by validity test, reliability test, simple and multiple regression, correlation coefficient, coefficient of determination (R2), cross-tabulation, and significant test (t test and F test).Results and discussion showed that store display classified as good, but there are still classified as good enough. Store atmosphere classified as good, but there are still classified as bad. Purchasing decision classified as good, but there are still classified as bad. Store display have significant effect towards purchasing decision (16.4 percent). The better store display then the better purchasing decision. Store atmosphere have significant effect towards purchasing decision (16.4 percent). The better store atmosphere then the better purchasing decision.The research conclusion of store display and store atmosphere relatively good, even though have some weak points. Recommendation for management are maintain the neatness of display anytime. Arrange a good scent in the store. Increase innovation and variation product so that customer will make repeat purchases. Then, need for further research by the company or an outside party on the other independent variables such as the effect of live events, price, promotion, advertisement, store image, and store services.

Abstract

Every company needs a resource that has an important influence to achieve the expected goals. Resources may include natural resources, human resources, knowledge resources and technology resources. Employee performance is not good due to poor working environment, lack of motivation and lack of work discipline PT. Njonja Meneer Semarang engaged in the herbal industry in which there are production employees are actively involved in the company's production activities.This type of research is explanatory research. The sampling technique include nonprobability sampling technique is purposive sampling. The sample in this research were 76 respondents who are production employees of PT. Njonja Meneer Semarang. In the analysis of the test used factor analysis with SPSS 20.Results of statistical analysis known partial effect of the work environment on employee performance by 57,2%. Then the motivation on employee performance by 55,2%. As for the discipline of work on employee performance by 44,5%. Effect of Simultaneous influence of the working environment, motivation and discipline to the employee performance by 72,0%, while 28,0% are influenced by other factors.Recommendations for improving the performance of employees to the company to increase its attention to the work environment, motivation and discipline of work which in turn will ultimately increase employee performance.

Abstract

This research purpose to find out influence of brand image, word of mouth, and advertising on brand switching decisions of non-BlackBerry mobile phone to the BlackBerry. This research included in explanatory. Taked 94 respondents as sample with purposive sampling method. Collecting data used questionnaire. Hypotheses tested by correlation coefficient, simple linear regression, multiple linear regression, t test, F test, and determination coefficient. The result of this research show that brand image dimension have significant influence to brand switching decisions,word of mouth dimension have significant influence to brand switching decisions, adevertising dimension have significant influence to brand switching decision. Brand image, word of mouth and advertising dimension in partial and simultaneous have significant influence to brand switching decisions.
