Abstract

Level crossings are always a complex problem because accidents often occur at level crossings, whether at official or unofficial level crossings, guarded or unguarded. This community service aims to provide education, insight, and knowledge about railroad crossings to the people of West Sumatra. The method used in this activity is Community Based Research (CBR) by applying approach. This community service was carried out through face-to-face learning and practice in the field, which was attended by 26 people. The result of this service is that the people of West Sumatra increasingly understand and realize the importance of safety at level crossings. This training is very useful because initially the training participants did not know about safety at level crossings, but after attending the training the participants gained very significant knowledge and experience, including being able to know several things about level crossings, starting from regulations, rules and regulations at level crossings and level crossing managers. In this way, the people of West Sumatra, especially training participants, know safety at railway level crossings and understand how to handle emergency conditions at railway level crossings.

Abstract

Coffee is one of the products from Indonesia's leading agricultural sector. Coffee participates greatly in Indonesia's export activities, especially to the United States. But so is Vietnam. The purpose of this study was to analyze the competitiveness of Indonesian and Vietnamese coffee beans in the United States market as the largest importing country for Indonesian coffee beans. The research method used is panel data analysis taken from secondary data. The analysis uses two methods, namely Revealed Comparative Advantage (RCA) analysis and also Constant Market Share Analysis (CMSA). The results show that Indonesia and Vietnam have a comparative advantage in several types of coffee commodities. In general, the results from the CMSA also show that the competitiveness of Indonesian coffee is positive, indicating that Indonesia is able to take a share of the coffee bean market in the 2016-2018 period.

Abstract

SMK Negeri 3 Jayapura is one of the vocational schools specializing in technology engineering in Jayapura City. There are three primary issues at SMK Negeri 3 Jayapura. First, the limited competence of teachers in microcontroller programming. Second, there is a lack of facilities and infrastructure for microcontroller practical work. Third, the low achievement and interest of students in the latest technological developments. The proposed solutions in this community service activity include: conducting training on Arduino Uno and Espressif microcontrollers using the Arduino IDE programming platform, developing practical modules for microcontrollers, sensors, and actuators, providing a master file for Arduino Uno programs, installing the necessary software on school computers, conducting robotics training for students. All five solutions were successfully implemented and received positive appreciation from both students and teachers at SMK Negeri 3 Jayapura.
