Abstract

Accreditation is the determination of quality standards and assessments of an educational institution (higher education) by parties outside independent institutions. Accreditation is also interpreted as a government effort to standardize and ensure the quality of university alumni so that the quality of graduates between universities is not too varied and according to work needs. This research aims to explore more broadly the meaning and urgency of higher education accreditation. The approach used in this study is a literature review. The data collected comes from various related documents such as journals, books and other related documents. The findings in this study are more oriented to the disclosure of the meaning and urgency of higher education accreditation. That the results of university accreditation are useful in providing official recognition to universities, which can increase the reputation and public trust in the institution. This is important in attracting prospective students, teachers, and partners. Then access to funding; The number of financial institutions and funding organizations requires universities to have accreditation as a condition for obtaining funding or grants. The implications of the research lie in the limitations of methodology and limited data around the urgency of university accreditation.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the performance of the Religious Affairs Office (KUA) in providing hajj manasik guidance services to prospective hajj pilgrims. KUA has an important role as an institution that provides initial guidance to prospective pilgrims before departure to the holy land. The research method used is qualitative with a case study approach at one of the KUA in a certain area. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that in general, KUA has carried out its manasik guidance function quite effectively, marked by the implementation of routine manasik activities, the availability of relevant materials, and active participation from prospective pilgrims. However, there are several obstacles such as limited human resources, facilities, and time allocation that still need to be improved. Therefore, stronger synergy is needed between KUA, the Ministry of Religion, and the community to improve the quality of hajj manasik guidance services in order to achieve independent and sharia-compliant hajj implementation.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the use of the Game Based Learning (GBL) method in improving the understanding of faith and morals among third-grade students at MI As'adiyah Bontang. This study is expected to provide new insights into the development of more interactive and applicable learning methods to strengthen students' understanding of religion and morals. This study uses a qualitative approach to gain an in-depth understanding of the influence of GBL on students' understanding of faith and morals. In this study, data collection techniques include interviews, observation, and documents. Interviews were conducted with the principal, faith and morals teachers, and students to explore their views on game based learning. For data analysis, this study used thematic analysis, where data obtained from interviews and observations were analyzed by identifying the main themes related to GBL in improving students' understanding of aqidah akhlak. The results of this study are expected to provide new insights into the development of more interactive and applicable learning methods, as well as contribute to improving the quality of religious education in elementary schools. The conclusion shows that the application of game based learning can be a useful alternative in the learning process in elementary schools, especially in teaching aqidah and akhlak. With better support from facilities and resources, the application of GBL has great potential to improve the quality of learning and character of students in the future

Abstract

This study aims to determine the level of student satisfaction at STIT Syamsul Ma’arif Bontang regarding the implementation of the thesis examination in 2025. The research employed a descriptive quantitative method with a survey approach. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to students who had participated in the thesis examination. The results show that the majority of students were very satisfied with various aspects of the examination. Information regarding the examination schedule was delivered clearly and on time (81.3%), the registration process was easy to understand and access (65%), the examination was held according to the scheduled time (100%), and the examination room facilities were considered very satisfactory (78.1%). In addition, supervision by academic advisors before the examination was very helpful (71%), and the overall service provided during the thesis examination at STIT Syamsul Ma’arif Bontang was rated as very satisfactory (71.9%).

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the level of student satisfaction with academic and non-academic services at STIT Syamsul Ma’arif Bontang. The research employed a quantitative approach using a questionnaire distributed to 100 students from semesters 2, 4, 6, and 8. The findings indicate that, in general, students are fairly satisfied with academic services such as the learning process, academic advising, and the availability of lecturers. However, non-academic services such as campus facilities, administrative services, and student activities still require significant improvement. This study provides recommendations for enhancing service quality based on student needs.
