Abstract

Abstrak Protokol penilaian kinerja perawat berbasis caring merupakan sebuah panduan penilaian kinerja perawat pelaksana yang dikembangkan untuk mengukur kinerja perawat sehari-hari berdasarkan perilaku caring perawat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan protokol penilaian kinerja perawat berbasis caring di Rumah Sakit Umum Islam Banyubening Boyolali. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah Action Research, penelitian dilakukan dalam 1 (satu) siklus dari bulan Juli 2023 sampai oktober 2023. Pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan purposive sampling. Jumlah partisipan dalam penelitian ini sebanyak enam orang, yang terdiri dari satu kepala bidang keperawatan dan lima kepala ruangan. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pedoman wawancara mendalam dan panduan focus group discussion. Data dianalisis secara kualitatif menggunakan content analys. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ada 5 tema yang muncul, yaitu: i) Indikator kinerja perawat yang harus dinilai, ii) Manfaat penilaian kinerja untuk evaluasi dan penghargaan , iii) Faktor pendukung dalam pelaksanaan penilaian kinerja, iv) Hambatan dalam pelaksanaan penilaian kinerja, v) Harapan terkait pelaksanaan penilaian kinerja. Penelitian ini menghasilkan suatu protokol penilaian kinerja perawat berbasis caring, yang perlu diterapkan oleh manajerial rumah sakit. Protokol ini direkomendasikan kepada pihak manajerial keperawatan dalam mengukur kinerja perawat secara spesifik, sehingga dapat mengurangi komplain dari pasien terhadap pelayanan rumah sakit dan diharapkan meningkatkan mutu asuhan keperawatan.

Abstract

In Indonesia, homecare services have become increasingly popular due to their flexibility and cost-effectiveness, particularly for individuals requiring long-term care, such as patients with degenerative diseases. The quality of homecare services is closely tied to the performance of nurses, who serve as the frontline providers of healthcare in this setting. This study aims to examine the effect of nurses’ competency levels on their performance within homecare service providers in Bandung City. A descriptive explanatory survey design was employed to analyze the relationship between nurse competency and performance. The study population included all 99 nurses working in homecare service providers in Bandung. A non-probability sampling technique was used to include the entire population. Nurses’ performance was evaluated across four key dimensions: quantity of output, quality of output, timeliness, and attendance. The total performance score was 2,475 (61.16%). Among these, the quantity dimension scored the lowest, while quality was the highest. Regression analysis revealed a beta coefficient of -0.021, and the partial test showed a t-value of 2.56, exceeding the critical value of 1.65. Although homecare nurses in Bandung demonstrate high competency, the statistical analysis indicates a significant yet negative correlation between competency and performance. This suggests that decreases in competency are associated with lower performance levels among homecare nurses in Bandung City.

Abstract

Pengabdian kepada masyarakat melalui Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) merupakan salah satu bentuk kontribusi mahasiswa dalam mengatasi permasalahan yang ada di masyarakat salah satunya yaitu masalah terkait stunting. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengurangi angka kasus stunting di Kelurahan Ngadirgo, Kecamatan Mijen, Kota Semarang. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi dan studi lapangan. Program kerja yang dimiliki oleh tim KKN yaitu sosialisasi pencegahan stunting, Pembagian  Makanan Tambahan (PMT) kepada anak yang terindikasi stunting, bimbingan belajar, jalan sehat dan urban farming. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa melalui KKN kita dapat berkontribusi  dalam upaya penurunan angka stunting serta mampu ikut serta dalam meningkatkan wawasan dari masyarakat setempat dalam mencegah stunting.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the relationship between self-leadership and hand hygiene compliance among nurses. A quantitative correlational design was used. The results showed that 54.5% of nurses had high self-leadership, but only 29.5% adhered to hand hygiene procedures. A chi-square test showed a significant relationship between self-leadership and compliance (χ² = 7.453; p = 0.006). Conclusion: Better compliance is associated with better self-leadership, but low compliance indicates differences in behavioral intentions. Therefore, to improve patient safety culture, self-leadership training combined with organizational support is needed.   Keywords: Hand Hygiene Compliance, Patient Safety, Nurses, Self-Leadership

Abstract

Transformasi digital pendidikan di Indonesia semakin menekankan pemanfaatan teknologi cerdas, termasuk platform pembelajaran berbasis kecerdasan buatan (AI). Namun, masih terdapat kesenjangan signifikan dalam infrastruktur, kompetensi digital guru, dan kualitas hasil belajar antara sekolah urban dan rural. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dampak implementasi solusi AI-driven personalized learning yang diintegrasikan dengan program pengembangan profesional guru intensif terhadap pemerataan hasil belajar siswa. Studi menggunakan desain mixed-methods longitudinal selama dua tahun yang melibatkan sekolah intervensi dan kontrol di wilayah rural Indonesia. Data kuantitatif diperoleh melalui pre-post tests, platform analytics, serta indikator equity gap; sementara data kualitatif diperoleh melalui wawancara guru, observasi kelas, dan studi dokumen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan pada capaian belajar siswa di sekolah intervensi dengan rata-rata peningkatan 23,4% dibandingkan kelompok kontrol. Analisis equity gap mengindikasikan penyempitan kesenjangan hasil belajar antar kelompok sosial-ekonomi sebesar 18,7%. Temuan kualitatif mengungkap bahwa kompetensi guru dalam mengintegrasikan AI ke dalam praktik pedagogis (AI-TPACK) menjadi faktor penentu keberhasilan implementasi. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi teoretis terhadap literatur digital equity dan kontribusi praktis bagi kebijakan adopsi teknologi AI dalam pendidikan di negara berkembang.

Abstract

The escalating impacts of climate change have underscored the urgent need for integrating Climate Change Education (CCE) into school curricula, particularly in vulnerable regions such as Southeast Asia. This study explores the readiness and attitudes of teachers across selected Southeast Asian countries toward the implementation of CCE in formal education. Utilizing a mixed-methods approach, the research surveyed 350 teachers from Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, and the Philippines, and conducted in-depth interviews with 20 educators. The findings reveal a moderate level of readiness among teachers, primarily influenced by institutional support, availability of resources, and prior training. Attitudinally, the majority of respondents expressed a positive outlook on the integration of CCE, recognizing its importance in fostering environmental awareness and sustainable behavior among students. However, significant barriers were identified, including lack of professional development programs, insufficient instructional materials, and curriculum constraints. The study highlights the necessity of multi-stakeholder collaboration involving governments, educational institutions, and NGOs to develop structured training programs and supportive policies. By identifying the current gaps and opportunities, the research provides actionable insights for policy-makers and educational planners aiming to strengthen the role of teachers in combating climate change through education. Enhancing teacher capacity is crucial for cultivating a climate-literate generation prepared to face environmental challenges in the region.

Abstract

Introduction: Hypertension is one of the most prevalent non-communicable diseases among older adults, and low health literacy often becomes a major barrier to effective self-management. Health education plays an important role in improving the knowledge and ability of older adults to control blood pressure and prevent complications.  Objective: This activity aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of health education in improving hypertension self-management knowledge among older adults in Babakan Anyar Village, Kadipaten.  Methods: A pre-experimental one-group pre-test–post-test design was used, involving 32 older adults with hypertension identified through screening. The intervention consisted of a 60-minute educational session delivered through interactive lectures, discussions, and visual media covering low-salt diets, physical activity, medication adherence, blood pressure monitoring, and warning signs of hypertension. Knowledge was measured using a questionnaire before and after the session.  Results: Findings showed a significant improvement in knowledge levels, with participants categorized as having good knowledge increasing from 31% at pre-test to 78% at post-test. Wilcoxon analysis indicated a statistically significant difference between pre-test and post-test scores (z = –4.064; p < .001).  Conclusion: These results demonstrate that structured health education is effective in enhancing older adults’ knowledge regarding hypertension self-management. Similar programs are recommended to be implemented regularly as part of community-based efforts to empower older adults and improve hypertension control.
