Abstract

Ultisol is one of soils type in Indonesia which has several problemsr for the cultivation of plants such as low pH, high Al saturation, low content of organic matter, and limited water storage. The objective of this study was to investigate the effect of zeolite and compost application on water retention, cation exchange capacity, and growth of sorghum at an Ultisol. The study was conducted using a completely randomized factorial design with two factors, the first factor was zeolite doses with five levels consisting of Z0 (no zeolite), Z1 (20 t ha-1), Z2 (40 t ha-1), Z3 60 t ha-1), Z4 (80 t ha-1) and the second factor is variation of compost dosage with three levels consisting of K0 (no compost), K1 (compost 3%), K2 (compost 6%) Each treatment was repeated three times. The results showed that in the treatment of zeolite 80 t ha-1 water retention increased by 13,7% and in the treatment of compost 6% reached 13,76% but there was no interaction between zeolite and compost to water retention. The increase of water retention was due to the increase in C-organic and porosity and the decrease of soil bulk density. The application of zeolite and compost succeeded in increasing the cation exchange capacity at the zeolite treatment of 80 t ha-1 + 6% compost to 17,46 cmol kg-1 due to the increase of soil pH. If zeolite and compost were given in high doses they could increase the growth of sorghum.

Abstract

Ultisol has several constraints in the management and utilization for crop production such as erosion, easy leaching, low water retention, low cation exchange capacity and low nutrients. Provision of soil conditioner in the form of hydrogel and compost can increase water retention and improve some properties and nutrient content on the soil to increase plant growth. This study was conducted in a greenhouse of the Biology Research Center LIPI Cibinong, using a factorial randomized complete design with three replications in two experimental units, i.e. soil incubation and soil planted with Sorghum bicolor Super 2. Treatments tested consisted of a combination of hydrogel treatments with doses of 0,5 g kg-1, 1 g kg-1, 2 g kg-1, and 4 g kg-1 of hydrogels and compost treatmenst with doses  0 g kg-1, 30 g kg-1, and 60 g kg-1. The results showed that the combination of hydrogel and compost significantly affected soil characteristics and increased the growth of sorghum compared with control. However, interactions  between the treatment of hydrogels and compost were only observed for permanent wilting point, water content of field capacity and pore drainage. In general, the combination of hydrogel and compost treatment with the highest dose of H4K2 (4 g kg-1 hydrogels and compost 60 g kg-1) had the best effect on increasing water retention and sorghum plant growth on Ultisol.

Abstract

This research aimed to explore the genetic relationship between Balinese and Balinese Malay quantitatively and qualitatively. The research was conducted in three steps: 1) data collection, 2) data analysis, and 3) data display. Data collection was conducted by implementing the interview method through a guided interview, recording, and note-taking techniques. The data were 200 Swadesh word lists collected from speakers of both languages as the data. Data analysis was conducted by implementing lexicostatistics and phonemic correspondence techniques. The data were displayed formally and informally, as well as in both combinations. The research results showed that both languages have a 36% genetic relationship percentage. The time between the two languages was presumed to have diverged around 2,354 – 2,157 years ago. It is estimated that both languages started to diverge from their earlier proto-language around 2,569 years ago. In addition, six phonemic correspondences of both languages consist of /ə – a /, / i – ə /, / a – ə /, / o – u /, / u – o /, and / h – r /. Concerning the levels of language classification, the genetic relationship of both languages belongs to a common language family since the results are within the percentage range (36-81%) and diverged year range (500-2,500) years. Based on the genetic language typology, it can be concluded that both languages belong to Austronesian languages. Specifically, they belong to the subfamily Malayo-Sumbawan languages.

Abstract

Kajian ini merupakan analisis pelibatan intelijen Kewilayahan TNI dalam pencegahan aksi terorisme di daerah sehingga dapat membentuk ketahanan wilayah yang tangguh dari ancaman aksi terorisme. Permasalahan yang terjadi saat ini adalah belum maksimalnya kesiapan satuan intelijen kewilayahan baik dalam kekuatan personel maupun alat material khusus intelijen dalam mengatasi aksi terorisme di daerah, kemudian belum kuatnya regulasi pelibatan TNI dalam hal ini intelijen kewilayahan pada program-program pencegahan terorisme di daerah. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini, menggunakan metode kualitatif eksplanatif, dimana metode ini dapat menjelaskan sebab terjadinya suatu peristiwa dengan hubungan dua atau lebih variabel yang kemudian dianalisis menggunakan teori. Kesimpulan yang diperoleh maka diperlukan strategi dan upaya yang dapat meningkatkan pelibatan satuan intelijen Kewilayahan TNI diantaranya dengan penguatan regulasi yang dapat digunakan satuan TNI dalam keterlibatannya di daerah, kemudian penyiapan kompetensi satuan melalui gelar penyelidikan, penggalangan dan pengamanan yang dilaksanakan pada penanggulangan aksi terorisme di daerah.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan mahasiswa dalam penyusunan perangkat pembelajaran inovatif dengan penguatan mata kuliah pendalaman materi dan pengembangan perangkat pembelajaran. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian eksplorasi. Subyek penelitian yang digunakan adalah mahasiswa PPG Dalam Jabatan Kategori I Angkatan III IKIP Saraswati Tahun Akademik 2023/2024 sebanyak 9 orang. Data penelitian berupa kemampuan pembuatan perangkat pembelajaran diperoleh dengan instrumen penilaian yang berupa lembar observasi. Tehnik analisis data dengan analisa kualitatif. Dari pembelajaran penguatan mata kuliah pendalaman materi dan pengembangan perangkat pembelajaran diperoleh hasil terjadi peningkatan nilai rata-rata untuk kemampuan penyusunan Perangkat Pembelajaran 75, 42 menjadi 85.64 sehingga mengalami peningkatan sebesar 10,22 atau sebesar 13,5 %. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penguatan mata kuliah pendalaman materi dan pengembangan perangkat pembelajaran dapat meningkatkan kemampuan mahasiswa dalam penyusunan perangkat pembelajaran inovatif

Abstract

This community service program aims to empower the Subak Sidang Rapuh Farmers Group in Marga Dauh Puri Village, Tabanan Regency, through the utilization of Telajakan (traditional Balinese green open spaces) and Tabulampot (fruit plants in pots) for Eco Enzyme production. The main problems faced by farmers include underutilized land, high dependency on chemical pesticides, and limited understanding of cost management and digital marketing. The program’s solutions include training on tabulampot cultivation and Eco Enzyme production, cost calculation using mathematical approaches, and marketing strategies through e-commerce platforms. The results showed significant improvements in farmers’ knowledge and skills—100% of participants successfully managed telajakan as productive land, produced Eco Enzyme independently, and understood the fundamentals of cost calculation and digital marketing. This program has proven effective in promoting sustainable agriculture, reducing organic waste, and increasing community income based on Balinese local wisdom.
