Abstract

The objectives of this research were to find out the income of sugar cane farming and the implement of partnership pattern between PT Buma Cima Nusantara and partner farmers in Bunga Mayang Sub-District, North Lampung Regency. The location was determined purposively, considering that Bunga Mayang Sub-District has been the center of sugar cane production in North Lampung Regency. The number of respondents in this research were 66 respondents and taken randomly. Data were collected from January to February 2020. The analytical methods that used were farm income analysis and descriptive qualitative analysis. The study shows that the average income for total cost of sugar cane farming is Rp12,056,030.40/hectare and the R/C ratio is 1.49. The partnership pattern that PT Buma Cima Nusantara and partner farmers implemented is a agribusiness operational cooperation partnership pattern, where the sugar cane farmers act as a group of partners that provide land, facilities, and labors and PT Buma Cima Nusantara acts as a partner company that provides costs, capital, management, procurement of production facilities, and the guarantor of the product market.Key words: income, partnership, sugar cane farming

Abstract

The aim of this research was to determine the pattern of consumption, satisfaction, and customer loyalty of Sun Kara coconut milk in Bandar Lampung. This research was conducted in May 2014 until June 2014 by survey method through interviewing respondents.  Total respondents were 80 housewives.  The research was conducted at traditional market, stall, minimarket, and supermarket in Sukarame Subdistrict and Rajabasa Subdistrict. The data analysis’ tools were Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) and the analysis of switcher buyer, habitual buyer, satisfied buyer, liking the brand and committed buyer.  The result showed that the frequency of purchasing Sun Kara coconut milk is 3-4 times and the amount of purchasing Sun Kara coconut milk ranged between 62-200 ml per month. Consumers often buy Sun Kara coconut milk in a stall and Sun Kara coconut milk is usually used for cooking ingredients. Most respondents were unaware of the content contained in Sun Kara coconut milk. The calculation’s result of Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) obtained values ​​of customer satisfaction 73% which means that consumers were satisfied with Sun Kara coconut milk product. Respondents that categorized as switcher buyer were 8.75%. The number of respondents that bought Sun Kara coconut milk as habitual buyer was 41.25%. Respondents that categorized as satisfied buyer were 66.25%. The number of respondents that categorized as liking the brand was 55%. Consumers that categorized as committed buyer were 33.75%. Abstract

The study aims to analyse farming income, income difference between rice farming and rice seed farming, and factors that affect farmers in applying rice seed production. This study uses  a survey method and respondents are 36 rice farmers and 19 rice breeders of Tunas Baru and Mekarti Jaya farmer groups. Results showed that cost, income, and Revenue Cost(R/C) ratio of rice farming are Rp11,280,754.67, Rp14,60,.487.00, and 2.29 respectively. Meanwhile, those of rice breeding are Rp 10,373,681.80, Rp 24,822,949.77, and 3.39 respectively. Based on the independent sample of t-test, there is the difference of farming income of Rp10,220,462.77. The external factors that encourage farmers to apply rice seed production  are the price and higher income. The internal factors are the products, number of family dependents, yield, and land size, with 95 per cent of validity.Key words: income, rice seed production

Abstract

This research aims to study the flow of tapioca agro-industry raw material procurement and how to manage tapioca flour agro-industry raw material procurement. This study uses a case study method at PT Gunung Sugih. Research respondents are owners and agro-industry companies and suppliers of agro-industrial raw materials selected by the candidates. Data analysis methods used are descriptive qualitative (raw material procurement planning and management applications) and quantitative descriptive (income analysis). The results showed that the five of the six components of raw material procurement were correct, except the inventory component, PT Gunung Sugih had approved the management function in all agro-industry activities. The agroindustry could be considered profitable because the results of the analysis of the income statement of the agro-industry gained a net profit of IDR8,190,800,833. Key words: agro-industry, cassava, profit, raw material

Abstract

This study aimed to determine forming income, the income of farmer households, and the sustainability of repong damar at Pahmungan Village, Central Pesisir Subdistrict, West Pesisir District. The method used in this research was the survey method. Primary and secondary data were collected in this study. The Sampling used census sampling. The number of respondents consisted of 58 farmers of repong damar. This study took approximately two months, starting from March to April 2018. The results of this study indicate that repong damar farming provides benefits and was feasible to run based on the results of the R/C has a value of>1. The household income of repong damar farmers was IDR 48,657,130.03 per year, the largest contribution comes from on-farm income with a percentage of 85.10 percent. Repong damar farming at Pahmungan Village, Central Pesisir Subdistrict, West Pesisir District was considered sustainable from social, ecological, and economic aspects.Key words: household income, income, repong damar, sustainability.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze farming income, household income, and welfare level of vegetable farmer households. This research was conducted in Gisting Subdistrict, Tanggamus Regency. This research was conducted in Januari 2017 until Januari 2018 using a survey method. The results showed that croppingpatern A consisted of mustard greens-chili-tomato-bean (planting season I), cabbage (planting season II), whereas, cropping patern B consisted of mustard greens-chili-tomato (planting season I), cabbage (planting season II). Both patterns were advantageous to cultivate (R/C>1). The income of farmer households from on farm activities gives the highest contribution. Household income received by farmers from cropping pattern A was IDR71,410,517.81/year while cropping pattern B was IDR49,781,431.68/year. Based on the criteria of the Central Bureau of Statistics (2014), there were 82.35% of vegetable farmer households in Gisting Subdistrict, Tanggamus Regency which belonged to welfare households.Key words: farmer, income, level of welfare, vegetable

Abstract

The purposes of this research are to analyze the income of cocoa farming, the income of cocoa farmer households, the poverty level of cocoa farmer households, the factors affecting the poverty rate of cocoa farmer households.  This research was conducted in Sungai Langka Village, Gedong Tataan Subdistrict Pesawaran Regency.  Respondents were 51 cocoa farmers taken using stratified random sampling method based on land area.  The analytical methods used were farm income analysis, household income analysis, household poverty level analysis, logistic analysis of farming household poverty level.  The results showed that cash income of cocoa farming is Rp8,027,576.78 per ha per year and revenue at total cost Rp Rp4,335,373.38 per ha per year. The household income of cocoa farmers is Rp21,277,833.33 per year.  Based on the World Bank indicator, the number of nonpoor farmers is 52.94 percent and poor farmers is 47.05 percent.  And based on indicator BPS (2016) there are no poor farmers in food poverty, whereas the number of poor farmers in nonfood poverty is 31.37 percent and nonpoor farmers of 68.63 percent. The common poverty line is 21.57 percent of poor farmers and 78.43 percent of non-poor farmers.  The percentage of the poor is 0.21, the poverty intencity index is 0.042, the poverty severity index is 0.00034.  Factors that affect the poverty level is household income.Key words: cocoa, farming income, household income, poverty rate

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the structure of costs, profit, and added value of coconut agroindustry.  This research was a survey method of 38 coconut sugar agroindustries in Negeri Katon Subdistrict, Pesawaran Regency.  The data of this research were collected in December 2019 - January 2020.  The analytical methods used in this research were cost structure analysis of total costs, profit analysis based on revenue and total costs, and Hayami added value analysis.  The results of this research indicated that the biggest cost component of the cost structure of coconut sugar production were palm juice (44.21%), then followed by labor cost (24.22%), firewood cost (15.43%), transportation cost (8.45%), wooden box cost (3.47%), tool depreciation cost (1.67%), sodium cost (1.55%), plastic cost (0.69%), and whiting cost (0.31%).  Coconut sugar agroindustry in Negeri Katon Subdistrict Pesawaran Regency received profit as much as IDR1,549,174.33/month.  Added value of coconut sugar was IDR1,111.22/liter of raw material.  It indicated that coconut sugar agroindustry in Negeri Katon Subdistrict Pesawaran Regency had a positive added value and feasible to be developed.Key words: agroindustry, coconut sugar, cost structure, profit, added value

Abstract

The objectives of this study are to analyze: the  level  of  costumers satisfaction and costumers loyalty to the packaged liquid milk products of KPBS.  The research was conducted in the largest distributors that supply liquid milk in KPBS packaging to costumers, at Pasundan street 165, Bandung.  The number of respondents in this study are 100 respondents.  The method of analysis used in this study are Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI), Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) and pyramid loyalty.  The results showed that the level of costumers satisfaction to the packaged liquid milk products of KPBS based on the analysis CSI was 78.8%, meant that overall costumers felt “satisfied”. Based on the IPA, the costumers evaluated that promotion attributes, attractive packaging design, nutritional value, and content of performance of pakaged milk were needed to be improved. The level of costumers loyalty in the packaged liquid dairy products based on the analysis pyramid of KPBS loyalty was mostly not loyal costumers, because the number of committed buyer was smaller than the number of switcher buyer. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the production performance, risk management and marketing strategies agroindustry Gunung Betung coffee powder in Bandar Lampung City. This research use a case study method in Kopi Bubuk Cap Gunung Betung agroindustry. Data collection was conducted on Desember 2019-Januari 2020. This study uses qualitative and quantitative descriptive method. Production performance was analyze using productivity and capacity. Risk agroindustry use ISO 31000  management standard. Strategies marketing use SWOT analyses. Alternative strategies formulated by SWOT matrix. The shows that  performance of Kopi Bubuk Cap Gunung Betung Agroindustry in Bandar Lampung city is consider good, process risk, human resource risk, and incidental risks faced are low, the marketing strategies is increase production volume by maintaining and improving product quality, optimizing the use of business locations close to suppliers to increase production volume, utilizing high consumer demand by providing quality products to obtain high profits. Keywords:  agroindustry, ground coffee, marketing strategies, production performance, risk management.
