Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the implementation of the independent curriculum implementation in senior high school economics learning which includes the components: (1) antecendents, (2) transactions, and (3) outcomes. This research used a quantitative approach with the Countenance Stake evaluation model. The subjects of this study consisted of 143 students and 4 public high school economics teachers in Yogyakarta City. Data collection was carried out using questionnaires, document reviews, and observations that were validated using Aiken content validity and Exploratory Factor Analysis construct validity. Reliability estimation of this study used Cronbach Alpha formula. The data analysis technique used quantitative descriptive analysis. The results of this study indicated that in the aspect of preparation (antecendents) of economic learning in the category of very good by obtaining an average score of 90%, which includes the characteristics of learning planning documents, the completeness of the contents of learning documents, preliminary learning steps, and learning strategies. In the aspect of implementation (transaction) of economic learning in the very good category by obtaining an average score of 88.07%, which includes learning that was interactive, inspiring, fun, challenging, motivating, providing initiative and creativity, and providing role models, mentoring and facilitation. Abstract

Anti-corruption education is a character education program that aims to instill anti-corruption values in students. The difference in the implementation of anti-corruption education as an autonomous subject provides different learning experiences for students. This research aims to measure the quality of anti-corruption education using the Servqual instrument. The Servqual instrument was developed and analyzed using confirmatory factor analysis (CFA). This research was conducted with an ex-post facto non-experimental design. The subjects involved were 156 students. Data analysis was carried out with the SmartPLS program. The results of CFA show that the instrument meets the fit criteria. Thus, the discriminant validity results have met the criteria, with a composite reliability (CR) value of 0.765 to 0.900. The results of the path analysis prove that three of the five Servqual constructs have a significant effect on the quality of anti-corruption education.

Abstract

Assessment literacy is an essential part of the teaching and learning process. Good assessment practices will have an impact on the quality of learning outcomes. The purpose of this study is to investigate assessment literacy among educators and identify the effects of gender, education, training, and work experience. A random sample of 134 teachers participated in this exploratory study. Tests and questionnaires have been employed in data collection methods. The data were analyzed using dummy variable regression analysis. This study found that teachers' assessment literacy was poor. Gender and training had an impact on assessment literacy, while education and work experience had no bearing on it. A more in-depth study with a wider scope needs to be conducted to gain a more comprehensive insight into teachers' assessment literacy. It is also worth studying in more depth what factors are thought to influence teachers’ assessment literacy.

Abstract

The Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (P5) is designed to shape students' character; however, the consistent implementation of P5 principles still faces various challenges. This study aims to evaluate the P5 program in elementary schools to assess the program's relevance and quality in supporting P5 objectives. This evaluative research employs a quantitative descriptive approach using the Countenance Stake model. The study involved 5 principals, 30 teachers, and 122 students from driving elementary schools selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected through questionnaires and document analysis. Prior to the evaluation, a P5 Phase B student character survey instrument was developed, consisting of 38 items. The results of the Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA) indicated that 32 items were valid for measuring six aspects of students' P5 character. Content validity was tested using Aiken’s V formula, yielding high scores, while the instrument’s reliability was estimated using Cronbach’s Alpha, indicating high reliability. The evaluation results showed that in the readiness stage (antecedent), the human resources (HR) aspect scored 83% (very good) and the tools and materials aspect scored 75% (good). In the process stage (transaction), program implementation reached 90% (very good), while in the outcome stage, the program results scored 87% (very good), and the student character survey scored 81% (very good). These findings indicate that the implementation of P5 in elementary schools has been carried out very well, although improvements are still needed in certain areas. The study recommends facilitator training, enhanced understanding of the role of human resources, and continuous government supervision and support to optimize the implementation of P5.

Abstract

This study explores assessment practices in Catholic religious education across junior secondary schools in Indonesia, with the primary aim of understanding how teachers evaluate student learning in plural and culturally diverse contexts. Set against the backdrop of Indonesia’s multicultural society, the research addresses the growing need for inclusive, value-based, and contextually adapted religious education. Employing a qualitative narrative phenomenological approach, the study draws upon semi-structured interviews with six Catholic religious education teachers from Western, Central, and Eastern Indonesia. Supplemented by curriculum documents and analysed using thematic analysis with ATLAS.ti, the research captures teachers’ lived experiences and assessment strategies. The findings reveal that teachers employ a hybrid model of evaluation—combining written tests, projects, discussions, and reflections—that aligns with students’ social realities and moral development. Assessment is used not only to measure knowledge, but also to reinforce ethical behaviour, religious tolerance, and community engagement. The study highlights the importance of parental involvement, technological integration, and context-responsive pedagogy in enhancing learning outcomes. The implications suggest that Catholic religious education can play a strategic role in promoting social cohesion and intercultural understanding in a plural society. This research contributes original insights by providing a regionally comparative and empirically grounded account of assessment in faith-based education, emphasising the role of teacher agency in navigating doctrinal integrity and multicultural sensitivity.
