Abstract

Occupational safety and health is an important aspect in the industrial world, including the furniture industry. If a company implements the Occupational Health and Safety well, it can reduce the risk of work accidents, thereby increasing work productivity. Work accidents can occur due to workers’ negligence or suboptimal implementation of the Occupational Health and Safety System. To reduce the risk of work accidents, a risk analysis is carried out, which is one part of risk management. One of the risk analyses that can be done is by using the Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) method. Risk identification in the furniture industry is based on field reviews, which then assess the severity (S), occurrence rate (O), and detection level (D). Then the assessment results are sorted to determine the highest Risk Priority Number (RPN) value variable. In the furniture production process, there are various potential hazards, with the highest RPN found in the cutting process, where a machine incident occurred with an RPN value of 120. The severity factor is given a value of 6 because the error leads to torn injuries and equipment damage, so it must be handled immediately, and there is the repair of the damage. One effort to reduce the risk of work accidents is to provide PPE at work.

Abstract

Perekonomian yang ada di Indonesia tidak bisa dipungkiri mengalami perkembangan yang sangat pesat karena peran usaha kecil menengah (UKM).[1]. Peran UMKM yaitu pemenuhan kebutuhan masyarakat akan sebuah produk unggul, Berdasarkan data dari Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) merilis keadaan tersebut pasca krisis ekonomi terkait jumlah UMKM yang terus meningkat pertumbuhannya dari 85 juta hingga 107 juta tenaga kerja pada tahun 2012. Fenomena ini menjelaskan bahwa UMKM merupakan usaha yang produktif untuk dikembangkan secara makro dan mikro di Indonesia.[2] Ditengah banyaknya produk UMKM yang menggeliat muncul kendala yang perlu diteliti secara teknis menyangkut kualitas dan ketahanan mutu sebuah produk. Salahsatunya yang sangat signifikan yaitu masa kadaluarsa produk UMKM. dalam penelitian ini ditekankan pada produk UMKM sambel kemasan. Pendekatan yang dilakukan adalah mengetahui unsur unsur organik yang bersifat mengalami pembusukan, kadar air yang dikandung, pemanasan dengan metode heating rate yang sesuai dengan unsur organic yang ada. Diharapkan kandungan nutrisi dan citarasa tidak mengalami kerusakan dengan menetapkan skala pemanasan yang tepat. Dapat disimpulkan dari percobaan ini terdapat 3 variasi waktu. didapatkan lama waktu pemanasan terbaik selama 180menit dengan panas surface terukur melalui thermometer infrared 155 derajat celcius. Pada kapasitas produksi 10kg sambel mengalami perbedaan suhu antar permukaan pemanas dengan media sambel paling atas pada 85 derajat celcius. Sehingga delta dari panas yag diserap object adalah 70 derajat celcius.

Abstract

Manajemen warehouse yang tidak optimal dapat menyebabkan gangguan operasional, peningkatan biaya, dan risiko keselamatan kerja, khususnya di industri furniture yang kompleks. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis penerapan metode 5S+Safety di warehouse PT Alis Jaya Ciptatama untuk meningkatkan efisiensi dan keselamatan kerja. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Audit checklist 5S+Safety dilakukan sebelum dan setelah perbaikan dengan analisis fishbone untuk mengidentifikasi akar masalah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa skor awal rata-rata 1,417 pada semua pilar 5S+Safety meningkat menjadi 4,083 setelah usulan perbaikan. Perbaikan meliputi optimalisasi pemilahan barang, penataan rak, kebijakan pembersihan harian, pelatihan karyawan, audit rutin, dan aturan keselamatan yang lebih tegas. Implementasi ini terbukti efektif dalam menciptakan warehouse yang lebih terorganisir, aman, dan efisien. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi pada literatur manajemen warehouse dan aplikasi metode 5S+Safety di industri furniture.

Abstract

Abstrak Kajian ini mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor utama yang memengaruhi pengembangan perangkat lunak dan tren terkiniyang membentuk industri perangkat lunak modern. Faktor teknis, manusia, organisasi, dan lingkungan ditemukan sebagaielemen penting dalam keberhasilan proyek perangkat lunak. Selain itu, tren seperti penggunaan Artificial Intelligence (AI), penerapan DevOps dan CI/CD, pendekatan Lean, serta fokuspada keamanan siber dan pengembangan berkelanjutan telahmengubah paradigma pengembangan perangkat lunak.Pendekatan Lean mendukung efisiensi dengan mengurangipemborosan, sementara AI dan DevOps meningkatkankecepatan serta kualitas melalui otomatisasi dan integrasiproses. Prinsip keamanan by design dan pengembanganberkelanjutan menjadi esensial untuk menghadapi tantanganseperti ancaman siber dan dampak lingkungan. Kesimpulan menunjukkan bahwa adopsi teknologi terkini, pengelolaanproyek adaptif, dan penguatan kompetensi tim menjadi kuncikeberhasilan. Abstract

As technology advances, equipment that previously operated analogue is now being developed using digital techniques, and equipment that was previously manual is starting to become automatic. Digital scales are measuring instruments for measuring the mass of an object or substance with a digital display. This simulation was created with the aim of producing an ESP32 based digital weighing device, using HX711 as a load sensor and displaying load values using a 16x2 type LCD. This makes measurement results easier to read and more accurate than analog scales.

Abstract

Boyong hamlet is one of the hamlet where most of the livelihoods are dairy farmers. Almost all residents in this dukuhan depend on their livelihood as livestock breeders. However, breeders in Padukuhan Boyong still face various challenges in their development efforts. One of them is selling pure milk directly to collectors with the shelf life of the milk being very short so that when it is not collected by the collector the pure milk will go stale. This service activity provides fresh ideas in the economic market in Padukuhan Boyong by changing pure milk into ice cream. The aim of this service activity is to increase the innovation of cow's milk farming products into ice cream so that it can stimulate the economy and create something new in the market in Padukuhan Boyong. This activity method uses Participatory Action which provides empowerment through observation, interviews, FGD, training, mentoring and evaluation. The result of this empowerment is training for cattle breeders in processing an interesting product, namely ice cream, as well as encouraging the economy through digitalization in website-based product marketing. The conclusion of this service activity is the innovation of cow's milk farming products into ice cream, to increase the sales value of pure milk, through the results of the training, almost all of the training participants, previously 10% of whom did not understand how to make cow's milk into ice cream, after the training, almost half of the participants understood the basic techniques for processing it into ice cream, reaching 85.7%, and the results of digitalization to boost the economy were creating a website https://www.boyongmilk.com so that it could expand the creative economy with marketing other than catalogs on WhatsApp

Abstract

Wonorejo Hamlet has great potential in the development of Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) and cultural-based tourism. However, limitations in business risk management and the minimal use of digital technology are the main barriers to local economic development. The aim of this community service is to enhance product sales of SMEs, promote village tourism through digitalization, and provide risk management training to SMEs in Wonorejo Hamlet. Training was provided to SME actors to equip them with risk mitigation strategies, while the village digitalization was realized through the creation of promotional content published on Instagram and YouTube. The methods used in this activity include observation, interviews, Focus Group Discussions (FGD), risk management training, and the implementation of village digitalization through social media. The results of the program show an increase in the understanding and skills of the community in managing risk, where 85% of respondents have understood the basic concepts and their application in business. The village digitalization program also received positive feedback, with 94.7% of respondents wanting the program to continue. Digitalization has proven to help expand the marketing reach of SMEs and introduce Wonorejo Hamlet to the wider community. With this program, the community is better prepared to manage businesses sustainably and can effectively utilize digital technology as a promotional tool. The sustainability of the program is expected to further drive local economic progress and introduce the potential of Wonorejo Hamlet to a broader audience

Abstract

Technological advancements in healthcare have increased the demand for professionals in biomedical engineering. However, high school students' understanding of this field remains limited. This community service activity aimed to introduce the Biomedical Engineering study program, medical equipment, and related career prospects to senior high school students. The activity was conducted at SMAN 1 Pegandon, Kendal Regency, using lectures, demonstrations, group discussions, simulations, and a pre-test–post-test design to assess knowledge improvement. The results showed a 105.4% increase in students' knowledge scores, and 80% of participants expressed interest in the field. Furthermore, 90% of students reported gaining new insights into non-clinical healthcare professions. Exposure to devices such as patient monitors, ECGs, and defibrillators enriched the students' learning experience. This program successfully enhanced students' medical technology literacy and interest in vocational education in biomedical engineering.
