Abstract

 Abstrak: Tulisan ini akan membahas tentang perubahan sosial di Indonesia, proses pendi- dikan di Indonesia, masyarakat Indonesia seutuhnya dan peranan pendidikan sebagai agen perubahan sosial. Saat sekarang ini, pendidikan kita masih jauh untuk dapat  dikatakan  menjadi  agen  perubahan.  Hal  tersebut  dikarenakan  variatifnya tantangan seperti; masalah mutu pendidikan, relevansi pendidikan, akses pendidikan,  manajemen  sistem  pendidikan  nasional,  sumber  pembiayaan,  perbedaan prioritas pengelolaan pendidikan antar-kabupaten/kota sebagai konsekuensi otonomi daerah. Tantangan mesti dihadapi untuk dapat mewujudkan manusia Indonesia yang; religius dan bermoral, menguasai ilmu pengetahuan dan keterampilan, sehat jasmani dan rohani, berkepribadian dan bertanggung jawab. Untuk mewujudkan  masyarakat  Indonesia  seutuhnya,  pendidikan  harus  relevan  dengan empat  pilar  belajar  yaitu;  learning  to  know,  learning  to  do,  learning  to  live  together, dan learning to be. Abstract: This paper discusses about social change in Indonesia, the process of education in Indonesia, the complete Indonesian people and the role of education as an agent of social change. Nowadays, our education is still far to be called as an agent of change.  That  is  because  of  the  varied  challenges  such  as  problems  of  education quality,  relevance  of  education,  access  to  education,  national  education  system management, financing sources, differences in management priorities inter regency/city as a consequence of regional autonomy. Challenges must be overcome to realize  the  Indonesian  people;  which  are  religious  and  moral,  master  of  science and skills, have physically and mentally healthy, have good personality and have responsiblity.  To  realize  the  complete  Indonesian  society,  education  should  be relevant to the four pillars of learning, namely: learning to know, learning to do, learning to live together, and learning to be.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the contribution of the implementation of tri dharma of UIN Alauddin Makassar in the context of strengthening the MSMEs sector during the Covid-19 pandemic. The data analysis technique employed was a qualitative method using an analytical instrument of Likert scale, categorization with three criteria, tracing and analyzing documents of the implementation of researches and services carried out by UIN Alauddin Makassar. In this study, the sample was MSMEs in collaboration with UIN Alauddin Makassar. The research findings indicated that MSMEs were facing a decline in revenue and required support to adapt to the pandemic situations. Meanwhile, the form of empowering MSMEs through implementing research results and community services carried out by the academic communities of UIN Alauddin Makassar was still very few or in the adequate category. The implementation of tri dharma ended with the preparation of outputs, but the outcomes were still few. The implementation of the tri dharma of higher education, namely education, research, and community service, must develop MSMEs and be directed to be more responsive to the needs of contemporary society

Abstract

This study aims to determine the proportion of questions in the 2013 curriculum student book for Mathematics grade IX SMP/MTs that are categorized in the TIMSS cognitive domains compared to the proportion of TIMSS 2019 standards. This type of research uses descriptive qualitative research. The research instrument used was the assessment framework guidelines that have been provided in the TIMSS 2019 book. The research process began with an analysis of the questions contained in the Mathematics student book for grade IX SMP/MTs which was conducted independently by the researcher. The results showed that from 344 valid items contained in the Mathematics student book for grade IX SMP/MTs, the percentage of “knowing” cognitive domain in the book was 37.68%, compared to the standard set by the TIMSS 2019 assessment criteria of 35%. Then, the percentage of “applying” cognitive domain in the book is 52.21%, compared to the standard set by TIMSS 2019 assessment criteria of 40%. Meanwhile, the percentage of “reasoning” cognitive domain in the book was 10.11%, compared to the standard set by the TIMSS 2019 assessment criteria of 25%.

Abstract

The aim of the research is to analyze the development of publications related to the use of GPT Chat technology in the field of education. The research method is a literature study with bibliometric analysis. A total of 919 articles were used from the Google Scholar database. The results of research publications on the use of GPT Chat technology in education have increased from year to year in the 2018-2022 period. The presentation of research development is known to be 2018, namely 1%, 2019 4%, 2020 17%, 2021 33%, and 2022 45%. There are 6 clusters namely cluster 1 (15 items), cluster 2 (14 items), cluster 3 (13 items), cluster 4 (12 items), cluster 5 (10 items), and cluster 6 (6 items). GPT Chat research network mapping in education topics that are often researched are GPT, System and Chatbot, while the topics that become new themes are Xlnet, Elmo, NLP, Deep Learning, and Dialog Response Generation, so that the keywords with the new theme can be used as a reference in do further research.

Abstract

This research aims to investigate lecturers’ and employee’ competencies of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training Faculty at UIN Alauddin Makassar and assess the training program needs for 2023–2024. The research method used was quantitative descriptive with survey techniques. The population was the lecturers and employees of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training Faculty of UIN Alauddin Makassar, consisting of 113 lecturers and 35 employees. The instruments used were Likert scale questionnaires and documentation from the Quality Assurance Commission of Tarbiyah dan Teacher Training Faculty. The results of the study indicated that various training programs were attended by lecturers and employees held by UIN Alauddin Makassar and other agencies. The training needs for lecturers are adjusted to the competencies that must be possessed, namely pedagogical, professional, and social, as well as the implementation of the tri dharma of higher education. Employee training should focus on increasing knowledge and skills according to job descriptions. Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kompetensi dosen dan pegawai Fakultas Tarbiyah dan Keguruan UIN Alauddin Makassar serta mengkaji kebutuhan program pelatihan tahun 2023–2024. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif dengan teknik survey. Populasi penelitian ini adalah dosen dan pegawai Fakultas Tarbiyah dan Keguruan UIN Alauddin Makassar yang terdiri dari 113 dosen dan 35 pegawai. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah angket skala Likert dan dokumentasi dari Komite Penjaminan Mutu (KPM) Fakultas Tarbiyah dan Keguruan. Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa berbagai program pelatihan diikuti oleh dosen dan pegawai yang diadakan oleh UIN Alauddin Makassar dan instansi lainnya. Kebutuhan pelatihan bagi dosen disesuaikan dengan kompetensi yang harus dimiliki yaitu pedagogik, profesional, dan sosial, serta pelaksanaan tri dharma perguruan tinggi. Pelatihan karyawan harus fokus pada peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan sesuai dengan deskripsi pekerjaan.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the management of MAN 1 Bone's curriculum as a Madrasah Plus Skills program. This research employs a qualitative approach, utilizing a phenomenological method, and incorporates data collection techniques that include interviews, observation, and documentation. The key informants in this study included the head of madrasah, deputy head of madrasah, vocational teachers, and vocational students. Data analysis was conducted through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of this study show that: 1) Curriculum planning includes preparing program objectives, flexibility in teaching materials, integrating theory and practice in learning strategies, and designing holistic evaluations. 2) Curriculum Organization includes a clear division of tasks, integration of skills material in local content and special classes, and optimization of resources to support learning strategies. 3) Curriculum Implementation includes Fashion styling is taught in intracurricular and special classes with teaching modules, while welding is only through special afternoon classes with lesson plans with learning strategies, and evaluations covering student theory and practice. 4) Evaluation of the Curriculum shows tangible benefits in the mastery of vocational skills, despite challenges such as time constraints, low interest, and a lack of instructors. This study contributes practical insights for developing vocational-oriented curriculum management in Islamic educational institutions, especially madrasahs.

Abstract

Radicalism in religious life has become a serious problem, leading to the emergence of the term religious moderation in society. On the other hand, the low level of mathematical literacy in higher education also requires attention. This study aims to develop a learning module based on religious moderation to improve students' mathematical literacy. The module was developed using the ASSURE model. The validation results by experts showed a score of 3.814, categorized as "very valid." Through a lecturer questionnaire, the practicality test obtained a score of 3.56, which was categorized as "very positive," while the student response was 3.276, which was categorized as "good." The effectiveness of the module, reviewed from the results of the mathematical literacy test, showed that 50% of students were in the moderate category and 25% in the high category. Thus, this learning module is declared valid, practical, and effective. This study shows that integrating religious moderation values in mathematics learning improves students' cognitive abilities and forms a tolerant attitude and critical thinking, making a real contribution to the development of values-based mathematics education in higher education.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji pengelolaan administrasi sekolah melalui arsip digital berbasis Google Drive di UPT SMP Negeri 1 Amali. Penelitian ini didorong oleh kebutuhan akan manajemen dokumen yang efisien, aksesibilitas, dan keamanan data. Penelitian ini berfokus pada tiga aspek utama: (1) perencanaan pengelolaan arsip digital, (2) implementasi oleh guru dan staf administrasi, dan (3) evaluasi efektivitas Google Drive dalam manajemen administrasi. Metode deskriptif kualitatif digunakan, dengan pengumpulan data melalui observasi langsung, wawancara mendalam dengan staf sekolah, dan analisis dokumen. Analisis data meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan untuk menilai efektivitas Google Drive dalam mengelola administrasi sekolah. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa Google Drive meningkatkan pengorganisasian dokumen, efisiensi kerja, dan mengurangi penggunaan kertas. Namun, masih terdapat tantangan, termasuk konektivitas internet yang terbatas, pelatihan yang tidak memadai bagi staf, dan risiko keamanan data. Penelitian ini juga mengungkapkan bahwa meskipun hak akses terhadap dokumen telah terstruktur, masih terdapat kekurangan kebijakan standar untuk pengorganisasian dan perlindungan dokumen.
