Abstract

Abstrak: Ada dua macam keterampilan berbahasa yang harus dikuasai siswa sejak mengenal dunia pendidikan, yaitu: keterampilan menulis dan membaca. Dengan menguasai dua keterampilan itu, maka akan terjadi kemampuan awal dalam menguasai ketrampilan yang lain. Penguasaan keterampilan menulis dan membaca merupakan hal yang mendasari penemuan metode Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC). Pengembangan CIRC dihasilkan dari sebuah analisis masalah-masalah tradisional dalam pengajaran seperti pelajaran membaca, menulis, seni bahasa dan mengungkap sesuatu dari realita yang ada. Satu fokus utama dari kegiatankegiatan CIRC adalah membuat penggunaan waktu lebih efektif. Para siswa bekerja di dalam tim-tim kooperatif yang dikoordinasikan dengan pengajaran kelompok membaca, supaya dapat memenuhi tujuan-tujuan dalam bidang lain seperti pemahaman membaca, kosa kata, pembacaan pesan dan ejaan dalam materi yang sedang dipelajari.Abstract: There are two kinds of language skills that must be mastered since the existence of the world of education, namely students’ skills of writing and reading. Mastering these two skills, would be a prequisite to master other skills. The acquisition of writing and reading skills underlying the invention of Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) method. CIRC development resulting from an analysis of the traditional teaching problems such as reading, writing, language art, and revealed something from the reality. One of the main focus of CIRC activities is to make use of more efective time. Students work in cooperative teams coordinated by the teaching of reading group, in order to meet the objectives of other aspects such as reading comprehension, vocabulary, message reading in the material being studied.

Abstract

Abstrak: Pada awal-awal peserta didik memasuki lingkungan sekolah, program pembelajaran membaca dan menulis permulaan (MPP) adalah program utama. Dalam pelaksanaan pembelajarannya, dikenal bermacam-macam metode pembelajaran MMP, yakni metode eja, metode bunyi, metode suku kata (silabel), metode kata (lembaga kata), metode global, dan metode SAS. Pembelajaran MMP dengan metode bunyi dan metode eja/abjad/alfabet dimulai dengan pengenalan unsur bahasa terkecil yang tidak bermakna, yakni lambang lambang huruf. Berbekal pengetahuan tentang lambang-lambang huruf meningkat ke pengenalan satuan-satuan bahasa di atasnya, yakni suku kata; lalu menuju pengenalan kata, hingga sampai pada pengenalan kalimat. Pembelajaran MMP terdiri atas pembelajaran membaca permulaan dan pembelajaran menulis permulaan. Pembelajaran membaca permulaan terbagi ke dalam dua tahap, yakni: pembelajaran membaca tanpa buku dan pembelajaran membaca dengan menggunakan buku. Terdapat bermacam variasi pembelajaran membaca permulaan, di antaranya membaca buku pelajaran (buku paket), membaca buku/majalah anak, membaca bacaan susunan bersama guru-siswa, membaca bacaan hasil susunan siswa. Sedangkan pembelajaran menulis permulaan terbagi ke dalam dua tahap, yakni: tahap pengenalan huruf dan pelatihan menulis. Variasi bentuk latihan menulis permulaan, di antaranya latihan pramenulis (memegang pensil dan gerakan tangan), menghubungkan tanda titik-titik, menyalin, menulis halus/indah, dikte/imla, melengkapi tulisan, dan mengarang sederhana. Abstract: In the early days of learners entering the school environment, the beginning reading and writing learning programs is the main program. In conducting the the learning program, there were various learning methods of the beginning reading and writing learning programs, such as the Method of Spelling method, the Method of Sound, the Methods of Syllable, the Global methods, and SAS Methods. The beginning reading and writing learning programs with the sound learning method and spelling method begins with the introduction of the smallest unit of language that are not meaningful, namely the symbols of letters. Then moves to the introduction of the units of language in it, namely the syllables, to the introduction of words, and finally to the introduction of sentences. the beginning reading and writing learning programs consists of learning beginning reading and writing. Beginning reading is divided into two stages, namely learning to read without reading books and learning to read using books. There are a wide varieties of learning beginning reading. They are reading texbooks, reading children books/magazines, reading arrangement text together (teacher and students), student read the arranged passage. While learning beginning writing is divided into two phases, namely phase of literacy and writing practice. Variations of the writing exercises start from the pre writing excercise (holding a pencil and hand movement), connect dot mark, copy, fine writing, dictation, complete sentences and simple composing.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the role of bystanders on the intensity of bullying against students of junior high school in Makassar. The subjects of the study were48 students aged 11-15 years old who were bullying perpetrators. The scales used for collecting data were bystanders’ perception scale bullying intensity scale. The data were analyzed using simple regression analysis techniques. The results of the analysis showed that bystanders’ perceptions could increase the intensity of bullying with r=0,343 and significant p0,017. However, the effective contribution was 11.8%. It could be concluded that the role of people present at the scene of bullying can increase it's intensity or increase the likelihood of recurrence of it among the students. The concept of student-friendly school needs urgently to be applied. All stakeholders concerned with education and morals it the shaping of students must work together to realize this ideal.

Abstract

Masih banyak siswa yang mengalami kesulitan dalam membaca dan menulis. Selain itu, guru kewalahan dalam membelajarkan siswa yang belum mampu membaca dan menulis dengan baik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh implementasi kegiatan service learning mahasiswa prodi PGMI terhadap kemampuan membaca dan menulis permulaan siswa SD/MI. Jenis penelitian ini adalah eksperimen dengan desain pre-eksperimental design. Jumlah mahasiswa yang melakukan kegiatan service learning sebanyak 79 orang sehingga sampelnya berjumlah 79 orang. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk memperoleh data dalam penelitian adalah tes, yakni pretes dan posttes. Teknik analisis data berupa analisis deskriptif maupun inferensial. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada pengaruh implementasi kegiatan service learning terhadap kemampuan membaca dan menulis permulaan siswa SD/MI yang dilakukan oleh Mahasiswa. Setiap masalah yang dihadapi siswa diberi solusi oleh mahasiswa dengan menggunakan metode, eja, metode suku kata, metode global, dan metode SAS. Implikasi dari penelitian ini adalah mendekatkan mahasiswa pada masalah yang terjadi di masyarakat dan memberikan bantuan terhadap kesulitan belajar di sekolah, hal tersebut sebagai praktik pembelajaran mata kuliah Bahasa Indonesia di bangku kuliah dengan langsung mendampingi dalam mengatasi masalah pembelajaran.

Abstract

Latar Belakang : Pasca stroke dapat menimbulkan disabilitas yang biasa dikenal sebagai hemiparese. Pada kondisi hemiparese post stroke itu sendiri, penderita mengalami gangguan fungsi berupa gangguan motorik, gangguan kontrol trunk dan gangguan keseimbangan. Problem motorik yang sering muncul adalah meningkatnya tonus otot (spastisitas). Metode : Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara peningkatan kontrol postural dan keseimbangan terhadap penurunan spastisitas extremitas pada penderita hemiparese post stroke, sehingga berdasarkan tujuan tersebut maka jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian analisis korelasi Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di RS. Bhayangkara Makassar dan Klinik Fisioterapi Mandiri Denpasar Bali. Sampel diambil berdasarkan kriteria inklusi yang telah ditetapkan dan instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah blanko pengukuran skala Asworth, blanko pengukuran Trunk Impairment Scale, blanko pengukuran Timed Up and Go test, dan Matras. Hasil : Berdasarkan hasil uji hipotesis diperoleh nilai p = 0,001 antara kontrol trunk dan keseimbangan, nilai p = 0,000 antara kontrol trunk dan spastisitas, dan nilai p = 0,001 antara keseimbangan dan spastisitas. Hal ini menunjukkan adanya hubungan yang signifikan antara peningkatan kontrol trunk dan keseimbangan terhadap penurunan spastisitas pada penderita hemiparese post stroke. Kesimpulan : Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah peningkatan kontrol trunk dan keseimbangan memiliki hubungan yang signifikan terhadap penurunan spastisitas pada penderita hemiparese post stroke.

Abstract

Immunization is one of the efforts made by the government in order to improve the health status of toddlers. With the aim of preventing the occurrence of some diseases can be prevented by immunization. Parents, health cadres, and health workers play a role in increasing the number of immunization visits. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between the role of parents, cadres, and health workers on toddler immunization visits to the Posyandu of the Serai Wangi Puskesmas working area, Talang Muandau District. This research design is cross sectional. This research was conducted at Puskesmas Serai Wangi with a population of 787 people. The sampling technique is using purposive sampling to a sample of 89 people. Data collection tools in this study used observation sheets and the results of the study were processed using a questionnaire that had been tested / validity. The results in this study found that there is a relationship between health workers (0.0,048 < 0.05) with immunization visits of toddlers and there is no relationship between the role of parents (0.526 > 0.05), health cadres (0.185 > 0.05). The suggestion of this study is that the health center can be an evaluation material for the Puskesmas, especially health workers involved in the MCH program to improve service efforts in the form of education related to the importance of utilizing Posyandu.Keywords: The role of parents, health cadres, health workers, immunization

Abstract

This thesis discusses 1) How is the reading ability of class I students at SD Negeri 228 Lagaroang taught using letter cards media, 2) How is the reading ability of class I students at SD Negeri 228 Lagaroang taught using picture word cards media, 3) Is there a difference Beginning reading skills taught using letter card media and using picture word card media to students at SD Negeri 228 Lagaroang. The purpose of this study was to determine (1) the initial reading ability of class I students at SD Negeri 228 Lagaroang who were taught using letter cards as media, (2) the initial reading ability of class I students at SD Negeri 228 Lagaroang who were taught using picture word cards as media and (3 ) differences in initial reading ability between those taught using letter card media and picture word card media in class I students of SD Negeri 228 Lagaroang. This type of quasi-experimental research (quasi-experimental) uses a pretest-posttest nonequivalent control group design. The population is class I SD Negeri 228 Lagaroang, Malili District, East Luwu Regency, which consists of 3 classes of 69 people. The sampling technique used was a multi-stage sampling technique so that 2 classes of 40 students were selected. The instrument used in this study is a test. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistical analysis. The results of the descriptive analysis showed that for class IA, the average score before being given treatment (pretest) was 40.25 and the average value after being given treatment (posttest) was 81.25. Whereas in class IB, the average score before being given treatment (pretest) was 40.5 and the average value after being given treatment (posttest) was 73.75. Based on the results of the SPSS analysis, a significant value was obtained α (0.028 <0.05). Thus the researchers concluded that there was a difference in the average initial reading ability scores of students who were taught using letter cards media and those taught using picture word cards media in class I SD Negeri 228 Lagaroang, Malili District, East Luwu Regency. The implication of this study is to show that the letter card media is higher than the picture word card media on students' reading abilities. However, these two media are equally effective and have increased students' reading skills after using these two media and from this research it can be used as a consideration for teachers to be able to design letter card media and picture word card media in order to improve students' reading skills.

Abstract

The aim is to describe the final impact of learning Indonesian in class V MIN 1 Manggarai Flores which is displayed by utilizing visual media. To describe the consequences of learning Indonesian in class V MIN 1 Manggarai Flores who were educated using sound media, analyze the differences in learning outcomes in class V C MIN 1 Manggarai Flores between those displayed using visual media and those displayed using sound media. The type of inspection used in this review is a relative exploratory inspection using the Pretest-Posttest structure plan. The population in this study amounted to 58 students. The sample in this study amounted to 40 students. The testing strategy used is (Multi-stage Random Sampling). The instruments used to determine student learning outcomes are various decision tests. The information inquiry used is a clear factual checking method and an inferentially measurable inspection strategy. The results obtained at the two meetings through different factual examinations, namely the normal pretest learning outcomes of class V B students shown using visual media were 51.9, while the posttest normal scores were 79.25 with a difference of 27.35. The normal pretest learning outcomes for class V C students displayed using sound media were 44.5, while the posttest normal scores were 71.2 with a difference of 26.7. The results of the information speculation test after the use of visual media and audio media at two meetings with measurements obtained a critical value of 0.008 and a large level value of 0.05. So it is suspected that there is a very large difference in learning outcomes in class V B which is displayed using visual media and class V C which is displayed using sound media.

Abstract

This thesis aims to: (1) To determine students' poetry writing skills before implementing photographic image media in Class IV of Moncobalang II State Elementary School, Gowa Regency. (2) To determine students' poetry writing skills after implementing photographic image media in class IV of Moncobalang II State Elementary School, Gowa Regency. (3) To determine the differences in students' poetry writing skills before and after the application of image media in class IV of Moncobalang II State Elementary School, Gowa Regency. This research is based on an approach, namely quantitative research. The type of research used is pre-experimental research, with a one-group pretest-posttest design. The results of descriptive data analysis show that the average value of the reality of writing poetry for students before implementing photographic image media was 64.33. Meanwhile, the average score for students' poetry writing skills after applying photographic image media was 91.67. The results of data analysis using the t-test showed that the percentage value in the category was 86.7% and the low category reached 13.3%. This shows that there is a positive influence on the results of students' poetry writing skills at SD Negeri Moncobalang II, Gowa Regency before and after the application of photographic image media. With the results of the paired sample t-test, it can be seen that a significance value (2-tailed) of 0.000 was obtained. The significance value obtained is smaller than ???? (0.000 < 0.05). So it can be said that there is a significant difference between before and after the application of photographic image media and it can be said that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted.

Abstract

This thesis aims to testing the effect of applying the guided reading method in improving the reading comprehension skills of class IV students at SDN Center Mawang Kab. Gowa. This research is quantitative research, with a quasi experimental research design (quasi experimental design). The results of the analysis show that the reading comprehension skills of students who do not apply the guided reading method are in the high category, with an average pretest score of 61 and an average posttest score of 77. Meanwhile, the reading comprehension skills of students who apply the guided reading method are at high category, with an average pretest score of 59 and an average posttest score of 82. Then the results descriptive analysis show that the application of the guided reading method has a positive effect on the reading comprehension skills of class IV students at SDN Center Mawang Kab. Gowa. With a correlation value of 55.4%, the remaining 44.6% is influenced by other variables in the medium category.
