Abstract

Background: High levels of stress can result in biological, psychological and social problems and even serious harm to a person. Emotional prevalence in Central Java is characterized by 95,461 depressive symptoms. Stress in students can originate from activities and also academic assignments. Objective: Therapy that can be carried out by Muslims with an Islamic approach, namely psychoreligious by listening to the holy verses of the Koran or murottal Al-Qur'an. This research aims to determine the effect of providing murottal Al-Qur'an on stress levels in students at 'Aisyiyah University, Surakarta. The research respondents were students at 'Aisyiyah University, Surakarta, female, aged 18-22 years, from the faculty of health sciences and not deaf. Methods: This study measured the stress level of the pretest and posttest design. The subjects of this study amounted to 2 respondents. The questionnaire used in this study was the DASS (Depression Anxiety Stress Scale) questionnaire to measure student stress levels. Results: Before being given murottal Al-Qur'an the level of stress was high, and after being given murottal Al-Qur'an the level of stress was mild. Conclusion: The results show that there is a significant reduction in stress levels in 'Aisyiyah Surakarta University students, after being given Al-Qur'an murottals.

Abstract

Diabetes Mellitus is a metabolic disease that has hyperglycemia caused by abnormalities in insulin secretion, insulin performance, or both. DM will cause several complications, one of which is sensory neuropathy or damage to sensory nerve fibers which causes DM patients to experience decreased foot sensitivity. The number of DM sufferers at the Sangkrah Health Center in 2022 was 2,404 cases. To describe the results of the implementation before and after the application of diabetic foot exercises on foot sensitivity in patients with diabetes mellitus. This study used a descriptive design by observing foot sensitivity in 2 respondents, carried out in the morning for 1 week with 2 meetings each meeting 15 minutes. The instruments used were observation sheets, monofilament test tools, and newspapers. There was an increase in foot sensitivity scores after diabetic foot exercises were carried out for 2 days in 1 week each meeting 15 minutes to both respondents. The application of diabetic foot exercises can be useful for increasing foot sensitivity in both respondents with diabetes mellitus.

Abstract

Introduction & Aim: Hypertension is a very dangerous non-communicable disease. This is because hypertension sufferers do not find any typical symptoms as a warning, this is what is usually called the silent killer. There are several treatments used to reduce blood pressure in hypertension sufferers, one of which is hypertension exercise. Hypertension exercise is one of the sports and one of the therapies used for hypertension sufferers, which is a non-pharmacological therapy. The aim of this service is that residents can independently practice hypertension exercises. Method of Activity: namely measuring blood pressure and hypertension exercises carried out in March 2024 with a total of 12 people in approximately 2 hours. Blood pressure is measured in hypertensive patients before and after carrying out hypertension exercises Results: There was an average change in blood pressure of 4.27% in systole and 6.32% in diastole in hypertensive patients in the working area of ​​the Kratonan Health Center, Surakarta City. Discussion: Elderly people experienced a decrease in blood pressure after doing hypertension exercises. Hypertension exercise is one method used to prevent an increase in blood pressure. This method is a non-pharmacological treatment. Hypertension exercises can be done easily using SOPs or existing methods. Hypertension exercises are easy to do and don't require a lot of money.

Abstract

Introduction & Aim: Many people or students, especially elementary school students, already know to wash their hands with just water.but they don’t know how to use soap. More than 10 millon childres in Indonesia aged less than 5 years are estimated to die each year, around 20% die due to diarrhea infections. Target and outcome: One hundres percent of participants are able to understand the importance of preventing diseases caused by germs and bacteria that stick to their hands, participants are able to wash thei hands with good and correct soap independently and Community Service journal Method of Activity: used is giving material to be delivered using visual media, lectures using power point and discussion or question, and demonstratios. Results: There is an increase in knowledge before and after being given helath education and demonstrations of washing hands with soap (CTPS). Discussion: Hand washing using soap is very important as a way to prevent diarrhea. The behavior of washing hands with soap has generally been taught and introduced to childres from an early age, not only in the home, community but also in the school.

Abstract

Latar Belakang; Persalinan adalah kejadian fisiologis normal untuk melahirkan bayi. Sectio Caesarea (SC) merupakan tindakan mengeluarkan bayi melalui insisi pada dinding abdomen dan uterus untuk menyelamatkan ibu dan bayi atas beberapa indikasi medis seperti gawat janin, persalinan lama, plasenta previa, mal presentase janin atau letak litang, panggul sempit, prolaps tali pusat dan preeklamsi. Tujuan; Mengetahui adanya penurunan intensitas nyeri setelah pemberian terapi relaksasi benson pada ibu post seksio caesarea. Metode; Jenis penelitian ini studi kasus yang menggunakan metode experimen. Hasil; Skala nyeri sebelum dilakukan relaksasi benson pada responden termasuk dalam kategori nyeri berat. Skala nyeri setelah dilakukan relaksasi benson pada responden termasuk dalam kategori nyeri ringan. Kesimpulan; Hasil setelah diberikan intervensi selama 3 hari dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa relaksasi benson dapat menurunkan nyeri ibu post Sektio Caesarea di RSUD Kabupaten Karanganyar.

Abstract

Background: The elderly are more at risk or tend to experience various diseases that often arise, namely hypertension. High blood pressure can cause the risk of stroke, heart failure and death. This death causes the elderly to become worried about their condition, so that the elderly experience psychological changes, namely anxiety that requires long treatment and excessive worry. Anxiety can be overcome with non-pharmacological abortion interventions, namely Yoga and Islamic Spiritual Mindfulness. Purpose: This study aims to determine the effectiveness of Islamic Yoga and Spiritual Mindfulness therapy in reducing anxiety in elderly hypertension. Research Methods: This study used a Quasi-Experimental Design with a Control Group pretest-posttest Design approach, taking a sample of 60 respondents. The research instrument used the DASS questionnaire (Depression et al.). The results showed a significant value of Islamic Yoga and Spiritual Mindfulness Therapy on anxiety levels in elderly hypertensives with a p-value of 0.039 <0.05. The average Anxiety result in yoga practice was 26.33, and the average Anxiety result in Islamic spiritual Mindfulness practice was 22.93. The results showed that there was a significant value in Islamic Yoga and Spiritual Mindfulness Therapy on the level of anxiety in elderly hypertensives with a p-value of 0.039 <0.05, which means that there is an average difference between Islamic Yoga and Spiritual Mindfulness Therapy and anxiety levels. The average Anxiety result in yoga practice was 26.33, and the average Anxiety result in Islamic spiritual Mindfulness practice was 22.93. Conclusion: Yoga practice intervention is more effective than Islamic Spiritual Mindfulness therapy on the anxiety level of elderly hypertension. Abstract

Landslides are geological disasters that can cause fatalities and large material losses, caused by uneven and unstable soil structures. Objective: To obtain an overview of residents' preparedness in facing landslides in Dukuh Gesikan, Jrakah Selo Boyolali Village. Method: This research uses a descriptive survey method with a sample size of 76 respondents and uses a stratifiet random sampling technique. Results: The results showed that based on the characteristics of the respondents, the majority were in the age range 26-45 years (48.7%), male (56.6%), junior high school education (44.7%). The general results showed that the preparedness of the residents of Dukuh Gesikan, Jrakah Selo Boyolali Village was in the "Almost ready" category. This is shown in the preparedness indicators, it is known that the level of knowledge is very ready (84.2%), emergency response plans are ready (44.7%), policies are almost ready (47.4%), resource mobilization is less ready (51.3% ), less prepared disaster warnings (46.1%). Conclusion: The description of residents' preparedness in facing landslides in Dukuh Gesikan, Jrakah Selo Boyolali Village is in the almost ready category with the preparedness index results obtained at (46.1%).

Abstract

Background; Childbirth by section caesarea (SC) is a caesarean section delivery performed by splitting with a slice in the mother's abdomen to remove the baby from the mother's abdomen, this can cause pain in the surgical wound. Pain can cause various problems for both mother and baby. The impact of pain on the mother, namely Activity Daily Living (ADL) and maternal mobilization is limited due to an increase in pain intensity when the mother moves. Foot massage is one of the non-pharmacological therapies that can help reduce pain in mothers. Objective; Knowing the results of the implementation of the provision of Foot Massage on postoperative pain Sectio Caesarea At Post Partum At RSUD Dr. Moewardi Surakarta. Method; The type of application carried out is descriptive in the form of a case study. Respondents used were 1 mother post section caesarea surgery. Instruments using observation sheets and questionnaires measuring pain scales using the Numeric Rating Scale (NRS). Results: the results of the implementation of foot massage on respondents 2 consecutive days, namely with a pain scale of 5 (moderate pain) down to a pain scale of 2 (mild pain). Conclusion; There is a development in the level of pain in respondents who are given foot massage therapy at Dr.Moewardi Surakarta Hospital.

Abstract

Latar Belakang: Proses pembelajaran daring sudah dimulai sejak Maret-Desember 2020. Selama proses pembelajran daring tidak sedikit mahasiswa yang mengalami kesulitan dalam memhami perkuliahan dan merasa cemas jika tidak bisa mendapatkan nilai yang memuaskan. Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara kecemasan terhadap pembelajaran daring pada mahasiswa di Universitas Aisyiyah Surakarta. Metode: Penelitian ini dilakukan di Universitas Aisyiyah Surakarta pada bulan Januari-Februari 2020. Teknik sampel yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah teknik total sampling, sehingga diperoleh jumlah sampel sebanyak 174 responden dari 2 program studi yaitu D III Keperawatan sebanyak 120 responden danD IV Fisioterapi sebanyak 54 responden. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah HARS (Hamilton Anxiety Rating Scale) yang dibuat dalam bentuk google form yang diberikan kepada sampel. Hasil: Penelitian didapatkan sebanyak 36,2% mahasiswa cemas berat, sebanyak 25,9% panik, cemas sedang sebanyak 19,5%, cemas ringan sebanyak 11,5% dan tidak ada kecemasan sebesar 6,9%. Kesimpulan: Penelitian ini menyimpulkan ada hubungan antara tingkat kecemasan dengan perkuliahan daring.

Abstract

A disaster is an occurrence that cannot be predicted when it will occur and can cause injuries or lives, as well as result in damage and loss. Preparedness efforts in facing disasters must be increased to reduce the risk and impact of disasters. One of the factors in disaster preparedness is the level of knowledge. Knowledge is one of the main factors and is the key to preparedness for facing disasters. The knowledge a person has can usually influence attitudes and concern for preparedness in anticipating a disaster. Method: quantitative with descriptive research methods, the total sample was 53 people, in May 2024 in RT.02 RW.01 Joyontakan Village, Surakarta City. The sampling technique used total sampling. Results: An overview of the level of community knowledge in RT.02 RW 01, Joyontakan Subdistrict, Surakarta City showed that the majority of the good knowledge level was 57%. Discussion: The community will have good knowledge that can be obtained from the experience of experiencing flood disasters in their area. This experience can provide additional knowledge for residents of areas that are prone to flood disasters. The flood disaster that has been experienced by residents has influenced the community's attitude and concern to be ready and ready to anticipate when a flood disaster occurs.
