Abstract

Dengan tujuan meningkatkan sifat kemagnetan barium heksaferat, BaFe12O19, disintesis magnet hibrida dengan mengkombinasi magnet Sm2Co17 melalui metode mechanical mixing. Proses perlakukan panas terhadap campuran serbuk magnet hibrida dalam suasana gas argon bertujuan untuk menghilangkan residual stress dan kristalisasi serbuk magnet. Analisis struktur kristal diketahui dengan difraksi sinar-X phillips radiasi K Co. Morfologi serbuk magnet hibrida diamati dengan scanning electron microscope SEM. Sifat kemagnetan diukur dengan Permagraph pada temperatur kamar dengan medan magnet luar maksimum 2 T. Hasil sintesis magnet hibrida menunjukkan bahwa terbentuk fasa baru dan terjadi penurunan magnetisasi saturasi Ms dan nilai magnetisasi sisa Mr setelah perlakuan panas. Namun koersivitas Hc meningkat dengan nilai maksimum 28,73 kA/m. Kata Kunci : Magnet hibrida, mechanical mixing, perlakuan panas, koersivitas. In order to enhance the magnetic properties of barium ferrite, BaFe12O19, synthesized hybrite magnet by combaining Sm2Co17 magnet and prepared by mechanical mixing method. The heat treatment of hybrite magnet powders in an argon gas atmosphere in order to release residual stress and crystallize magnet powders. The analysis of crystal structures was examined by X-Ray Diffractometer (XRD) Phillips with K Coradiation. Morphology of hybrite magnet was studied using a scanning electron microscope (SEM). The magnetic measurement is carried out by Permagraph at the room temperature with respect to the magnitude the applied field up to 2 T to find magnetic properties of hybrite magnet. The results show that the new phase is found and decrease saturation magnetization (Ms) and also remanen (Mr) after heat treatment. But The coercivity (Hc) is increased with the maximum of 28.73 kA/m. Keywords : Hybrite magnet, mechanical mixing, heat treatment, coersivity.

Abstract

Pembentukan material magnet komposit yang terdiri serbuk barium heksaferat, BaFe12O19, dan serbuk besi BCC, aFe, dengan perbandingan 60:40 % berat telah dilakukan. Proses penghalusan ukuran partikel magnet komposit dengan menggunakan planetary ball mill (PBM) dalam suasana toluen selama 30 jam bertujuan untuk meningkatkan sifat kemagnetan. Identifikasi fasa magnet komposit diperoleh hasil pengukuran dengan difraksi sinar-X radiasi Ka Co. Foto morfologi bentuk partikel magnet komposit menggunakan scanning electron microscope (SEM) 5310LV Jeol pada perbesaran 2000 kali. Distribusi ukuran partikel diketahui dengan LS Particle Size Analyzer (PSA) Beckman Coulter dan sifat kemagnetan dianalisis dengan alat Permagraph pada temperatur kamar. Hasil pengukuran menunjukkan bahwa selama penghalusan ukuran partikel material magnet komposit melalui proses milling tidak terjadi dekomposisi fasa, distribusi ukuran serbuk cendrung menurun dengan bertambahnya waktu milling. Pengaruh terhadap sifat kemagnetan material magnet komposit BaFe12O19/aFe yang mengalami penurunan magnetisasi sisa atau remanen dari 0,32 T menjadi 0,15 T dan nilai koersivitas magnetik 228,3 kA/m menjadi 42,5 kA/m. Namun nilai magnetisasi saturasi cendrung meningkat dari 0,59 T menjadi 0,80 T.Kata Kunci : Magnet komposit, ukuran partikel, sifat kemagnetan, BaFe12O19/aFe. The formation of magnetic composite material by combaining barium hexaferrite, BaFe12O19, and aFe powder with 60:40 % wt ratio has been investigated. The refinement of particle size of composite magnet by using planetary ball mill (PBM) for 30 hours in toluena atmosphere in order to enhance the magnetic properties. Phase identification of magnetic composite was examined by X-Ray Diffractometer (XRD) Phillips with KaCo radiation. The morfology of magnetic composite particle was studied using a scanning electron microscope (SEM) 5310LV Jeol.The particle distribution is measured LS Particle Size Analyzer (PSA) Beckman Coulter and the magnetic properties is measured by Permagraph at the room temperature. The results show that in milling process, the phase decomposition is not found, and particle size distribution is decrease. Influence on magnetic properties of magnetic composite material BaFe12O19/aFe are decrease remanen (Mr) from 0,32 T to 0,15 T and also the coercivity (Hc) from 228,3 kA/m to 42,5 kA/m. But the saturation magnetization (Ms) increase from 0,59 T to 0,80 T.Keywords : Composite magnet, particle size, magnetic properties, BaFe12O19/aFe .

Abstract

Dengan tujuan mengetahui komposisi dan struktur yang terkandung dalam batuan pegunungan merapi di Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta dilakukan observasi lingkungan. Ada tiga jenis batuan yaitu batuan merah, hitam, dan putih. Analisis struktur diketahui dengan difraksi sinar-X phillips radiasi Ka Co. Morfologi batuan diamati dengan scanning electron microscope (SEM). Komposisi batuan dengan menggunakan Energy Dispersive X-ray (EDX). Hasil karakterisasi menunjukkan bahwa semua batuan merupakan batuan kristal dengan komposisi fasa yang dominan untuk batuan merah yaitu SiO2, CaCO3, Al2O3, dan S. Sedangkan pada batuan hitam didominasi dengan kandungan SiO2 dan batuan putih dengan kandungan SiO2 dan S. Struktur mikro ketiga jenis batuan ini memiliki bentuk morfologi yang berbeda. Kata Kunci : Batuan pegunungan, batuan merah, hitam, putih, material kristal. In order to know structure and composition of contents in mountain rocks at Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta, to be done enviorment observation. Three rocks are red, black, and white rocks. The analysis of crystal structures was examined by X-Ray Diffractometer (XRD) Phillips with Ka Co radiation. Morphology of three rocks was studied using a Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM). The composition of mountain rocks was detected by Energy Dispersive X-ray (EDX). The results shows that mountain rocks are crystal materials that phase composition of red rock are SiO2, CaCO3, Al2O3, and S. Black rock is SiO2 as mayor phase and white rock is consist of SiO2 and S. Microstructure of three rocks has the different morphology. Abstract

The curriculum 2013 emphasizes learning physics using process skills approach to develop the scientific skills of students. Based on need analysis obtained that the assessment instruments used by teachers is not in accordance with the process of learning. The aims of this research is to produce a science process skills assessment instruments in learning physics for high school students. The instrument was developed restricted to direct current circuit subject. The method used in this research is the development of research. The instrument was developed thirty- five test items written in the form of multiple choice. Science process skills indicatorsinclude observing, formulating a hypothesis, identifying variables, interpreting data, communicating, and implementing concept. Expert validation is done by using observation sheet with Likert scale. Keywords: Instrumen, assessment, science process skill.

Abstract

Glass ZnO-MgO-P2O5 with the addition of ZnO composition between 0-15 mol% has been successfully using techniques Melt Quenching. With the analysis of X-ray diffraction (XRD) structure of glass obtained showed properties of amorphous materials. Photoluminescence spectrum has a dominant emission band on the observation of the peak at around 385nm. Sedangjkan hardness test of glass ZnO-MgO-P2O5 decreased with the increasing composition of ZnO. Keywords: glass ZnO-MgO-P2O5; photoluminescence spectrum; melt quenching; XRD; hardness test.

Abstract

This study was carried out to generate media Flipbook Physics-based learning in the form of multimedia. The study was conducted in the laboratory of physical education for the development phase and in SMAN 22 Jakarta Timur for field testing phase media use Flipbook Physics. The method used is the Research and Development and refers to the development model ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). Physics flipbook display using 3D software PageFlip Professional 1.7.6. that content is backed up with some software, such as AVS Video Editor, iSpring Suite 6, photoshop, and pdf. Physics Flipbook feasibility test results conducted by experts on the matter and media, also validated by the user. Results of media experts, namely 91.46%, from 94.17% matter experts and the results of tests on users gained 99.38% from 96.70% of the educators and learners. Flipbook Physics validated then used to obtain the data from the experimental class. The average percentage of all aspects of an increase of 57.23%. It can be concluded that the overall Flipbook Physics-based multimedia can enhance learning outcomes of students in high school. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan dan menghasilkan bahan ajar berupa LKS yang digunakan sebagai pendukung dalam praktikum teori kinetic gas. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMA Negeri 2 Bekasi kelas XI pada bulan Maret -- Mei 2015. Desain yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah AADIE (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, Evaluate). LKS yang dikembangkan meliputi, 1) judul, 2) petunjuk penggunaan, 3) tujuan, 4) teori singkat, 5) alat dan bahan, 6) langkah-langkah dari metode inkuiri (masalah, hipotesa, ekperimen, pengumpulan data, analisis dan kesimpulan). Langkah-langkah dalam mengembangankan LKS adalah, 1) tahap analisis, 2) mendesain LKS berbasis inkuiri, 3) pembuatan LKS dan 4) revisi dan penyermpurnaan, Proses pengambilan data menggunakan 2 kelas, kelas control dan ekperimen. Abstract

This research aims to develop props resonance and Doppler effect soundcard based PC / Laptop to improve students’ motivation to learn physics. This study will be conducted at SMAN 3 Pamulang in June – August 2015. The method used is the Research and Development that development model ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Develop, Implement, and Evaluate). Resonance props made of Pyrex glass and the sound source using the speakers while to display the waveform used software audacity or scope. Props Doppler effect by rail is designed in such a way to show the events of the Doppler effect. Data was collected by means of questionnaries to collect documents from research instruments that have been validated. The final results of this study are expected to props resonance and Doppler Effect-based soundcard pc / laptop can be used to increase the motivation of learners from high school in material sound waves. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan bahan ajar dalam bentuk modul fisika berbasis CTL pada materi fluida dinamis yang sesuai dengan kurikulum 2013. Penelitian ini dilakukan dari bulan April sampai Juni 2014 di Laboratorium Pendidikan Fisika FMIPA UNJ dan SMAN 9 Jakarta Timur, dengan bantuan 37 siswa kelas XI IPA yang dipilih secara acak. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode pengembangan. Tahap awal dari analisis kebutuhan bahan ajar,memberikan pretest kemudian mengembangan modul fisika berbasis CTL untuk siswa kelas XI IPA yang sebelumnya divalidasi terlebih dahulu oleh beberapa ahli media dan materi serta guru profesional fisika SMA di Jakarta. Instrumen yang digunakan pada saat kuesioner penelitian analisis kebutuhan,lembar validasi untuk ahli fisika materi,ahli media dan guru profesional fisika SMA di Jakarta serta kuesioner untuk siswa setelah menggunakan modul yang sudah dikembangkan ini. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah pengembangan modul fisika berbasis CTL untuk fisika SMA kelas XI pada materi fluida dinamis. Hasil validasi oleh para ahli materi memperoleh persentase skor rata-rata 87,83% semua aspek, hasil validasi oleh para ahli media mendapatkan persentase skor rata-rata 80,97% dari keseluruhan aspek,untuk hasil validasi oleh guru profesional fisika sekolah di Jakarta memperoleh persentase rata-rata dari keseluruhan aspek sebesar 84.28%, dan hasil uji modul dalam kelompok-kelompok kecil dengan persentase 81.50% oleh peserta didik dan hasil uji modul dalam kelompok besar diperoleh 81% oleh peserta didik,dan peningkatan hasil nilai rata-rata pretest ke post test oleh siswa,dari nilai 60,156 ke 82,03. Dengan perolehan hasil secara keseluruhan tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa modul fisika berbasis CTL yang telah dikembangkan di nilai berkualitas dan sangat baik digunakan sebagai pendukung bahan ajar,serta alternatif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Abstract

Perovskite manganites materials La0,7Ca0,3Mn1-xCoxO3 with x = 0 and x = 0.1 through mechanical alloying method to characterize x-ray difraction has been synthesized. Material consisting of La2O3, CaO, MnCO3, and Co3O4 mixing by high energy ball mill for 1 hour and produce a homogeneous mixture followed by calcination at 750 ° C and molding sample pellets and sintering at 1100 ° C for 3 hours and monoclinic crystal structure with lattice parameters for x = 0 a = 7.752 Å; b = 5.463 Å; c = 5.466 Å and 231.54 A3 cell volume with 39.27 nm crystal size and density ρ = 6.93 g / cm3, while for x = 0.1 a = 7.742 Å; b = 5.470 Å; c = 5.460 Å and 231.23 A3 cell volume with 40.29 nm crystal size and density ρ = 6.95 g / cm3 with x-ray diffraction measurements as a result. Specification phase as a resukt of qualitative analysis and crystal size as a result of quantitaive analysis explained that the substitution can be done.
