Abstract

Teknik penumbuhan ZnO nanorods dilakukan menggunakan dua tahap, yaitu tahap deposisi lapisan benih dan penumbuhan nanorods. Deposisi lapisan benih dilakukan menggunakan teknik ultrasonic nebulizer dan penumbuhan nanorods menggunakan teknik hidrotermal pada suhu 95 °C selama 2 jam. Fokus penelitian ini adalah mengamati pengaruh variasi posisi terhadap ZnO nanorods. Morfologi ZnO nanorods akan diamati menggunakan scanning electron microscopy (SEM) dan analisis komposisi menggunakan EDAX. Hasil pengamatan menunjukan bahwa ZnO nanorods yang terbentuk memiliki orientasi acak, tidak vertical, dan dimensi yang bervariasi di atas substrat. The growth techinque of ZnO nanorods was carried out using two stages, namely the seed layer deposition stage and the growth of nanorods. Seed layer deposition was carried out using the ultrasonic nebulizer technique and nebulizer technique and the growth of nanorods using hydrothermal technique at 95 °C for 2 hours. The focus of this study is to observe the effect of position variations on ZnO nanorods. Morphology of ZnO nanorods will be observed using Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) and composition analysis using EDAX. The results of the observation show that the ZnO nanorods formed have a random orientation, not vertical, and varying dimensions on the substrate.

Abstract

Zinc oxide (ZnO) thin films on a silicon (Si) (111) substrate were grown herein using ultrasonic spray pyrolysis at 450 °C with different Zn concentrations. The ZnO thin films had X-ray diffraction patterns of a polycrystalline hexagonal wurtzite structure. The (002) and (101) peak intensities changed under different Zn concentrations. Furthermore, according to Scherer's and Stokes–Wilson equations, the crystallite size and the internal strain of the ZnO thin films in the (002) and (101) peaks changed with the Zn concentration. Optically, the photoluminescence spectra indicated that the ratio of the UV/GB emission of the ZnO thin films was the highest at the Zn concentration of 0.02 mol/mL. We predicted that by increasing the Zn concentrations, the nonradiative transitions, which originated from defects, such as lattice and surface defect, become dominant. In conclusion, the ZnO thin films with the Zn concentration of 0.02 mol/mL had a better crystalline and optical quality.

Abstract

Abstract In 2020, the development of the transmission of Covid-19 was quite significant because it has spread worldwide, and all countries are feeling its effects, including Indonesia. The government has announced an increase in Covid-19 cases, thus designating Covid-19 as a national disaster. One of the efforts to reduce the transmission of Covid-19 is the government’s implements Social Distancing. The public can determine whether they have contracted this disease by undergoing a Rapid Test. If they test positive, they will be retested using the Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) test method, which is far more accurate. Therefore, many government and non-government institutions provide online Covid-19 self-checkups. Providing education about Covid-19 is also important; one way is through an integrated application. The integrated application in question can provide routine notifications and information through infographics, online Covid-19 self-checkups, and self-checklists for entering and leaving the house to prevent Covid-19. Abstrak Pada tahun 2020, perkembangan penularan Covid-19 cukup signifikan karena penyebarannya sudah mendunia dan seluruh negara merasakan dampaknya termasuk Indonesia. Pemerintah telah mengumumkan peningkatan jumlah kasus Covid-19, sehingga menetapkan Covid-19 sebagai bencana nasional. Salah satu upaya untuk mengurangi penularan Covid-19 pemerintah menerapkan Social Distancing. Adapun masyarakat dapat mengetahui dirinya tertular penyakit ini atau tidak dengan menjalani Rapid Test, apabila dinyatakan positif akan diuji ulang dengan metode tes Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) yang jauh lebih akurat. Oleh sebab itu banyak Lembaga baik pemerintah maupun non pemerintah yang menyediakan self-checkup Covid-19 secara online. Pemberian edukasi mengenai Covid-19 juga penting untuk dilakukan, salah satu caranya dapat melalui aplikasi yang terintegrasi. Aplikasi terintegrasi yang dimaksud dapat memberikan notifikasi secara rutin, memberikan informasi melalui infografik, self-checkup Covid-19 secara online, dan ceklis diri prosedur keluar masuk rumah sebagai upaya pencegahan Covid-19.

Abstract

This paper reports the improved microwave (MW) absorption characteristics of some newly prepared bio-silica-barium-ferrite composites (SBFCs) of the form (x)Bio-SiO2:(80-x)Fe2O3:(20) BaO (where x = 0, 2, and 4 wt.%). These composites were prepared using the modified solid-state reaction method with simultaneous sintering at 800 and 1100 °C. SBFCs were studied to determine the impact of various bio-silica concentrations on their morphology, structure, magnetic properties, permittivity, permeability, and X-band reflection loss. Various SBFC thicknesses were simulated to determine the reflection loss curves. It has been established that the MW absorption capacity of the examined SBFCs may be altered by adjusting the bio-silica concentration and sample thickness.

Abstract

Teachers need digital competence to adapt easily to the current digital era. This study tries to discover the perceptions of vocational high school (VHS) teachers in Indonesia related to advanced digital competencies, which include information, communication, content creation, digital security, and problem-solving competencies. The multi-criteria Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) problem-solving method is used to rank the priority digital competencies that are most mastered by the respondents, and then their performance is validated by the fuzzy AHP artificial intelligence-based method. A poll was conducted with 392 respondents, with the research instrument adopting the digital competency measurement platform from DigComp. The study's results show that the fuzzy AHP method has proven that the classical AHP method is a very good way to prioritize VHS teachers' digital skills based on several factors. The two methods gave almost identical results in determining the priority order of VHS teacher digital competencies. The survey results reveal that VHS teachers in Indonesia must immediately develop their skills in terms of digital content creation and digital security. Teachers, teacher professional organizations, and decision-makers are expected to use the findings of this study as a reference in implementing VHS teacher digital competency improvement trainings.

Abstract

Abstract Indonesia is a fertile country because the area is located in the tropics and is crossed by a series of volcanoes. Tropical climate conditions allow Indonesia to have types of vegetation that can survive for agricultural cultivation. Based on data obtained from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS), West Java Province is in third place. A total of 5.2 million tons of rice is produced from this region. The area of agricultural rice fields constitutes 26 percent of the total area of West Java. Of the various cities and regencies in the West Java region, Subang Regency is in third place with the largest area of agricultural land. However, farmers in Subang still experience various difficulties, such as, (1) Farmers are always at a disadvantage when commodity prices fall; (2) Farmers still use the "latah" pattern in their farming business; (3) Farmers still often experience problems in controlling pests and plant diseases; (4) Farmers have not been able to maintain continuity of production. Based on the existing facts, this time the community service wants to develop an information system that can be used as a reference by farmers in the Subang area. The information developed supports upstream to downstream activities in the agricultural sector, such as providing information on sales of fertilizers, and machinery, planting information on each land, establishing partner collaborations, and online markets. This application can be used by everyone, both people who don't have land and farmers who already have land. Abstrak Indonesia merupakan Negara yang subur, karena daerahnya yang terletak di daerah tropis dan dilewati rangkaian gunung api. Kondisi iklim tropis memungkinkan Indonesia memiliki jenis vegetasi yang dapat hidup untuk budi daya pertanian. Berdasarkan data yang diperoleh dari Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) Provinsi Jawa Barat menempati posisi ketiga. Total 5,2 juta ton beras dihasilkan dari wilayah ini. Luas lahan sawah pertanian tersebut merupakan 26 persen dari total wilayah Jawa Barat. Dari berbagai kota dan kabupaten yang berada di wilayah Jawa Barat, terdapat Kabupaten Subang yang berada di posisi ketiga daerah dengan luas lahan pertanian terbesar. Kendati demikian petani di Subang masih mengalami berbagai kesulitan seperti, (1) Petani selalu dalam posisi dirugikan ketika harga komoditi anjlok; (2) Petani masih saja menggunakan pola “latah” dalam usaha tani mereka; (3) Petani masih sering mengalami kendala dalam pengendalian hama dan penyakit tanaman; (4) Petani belum mampu menjaga kontinuitas produksi. Berdasarkan fakta-fakta yang ada maka pengabdian masyarakat kali ini ingin mengembangkan sistem informasi yang bisa dijadikan acuan oleh para petani di lingkungan Subang. Informasi yang dikembangkan mendukung aktivitas hulu ke hilir bidang pertanian, seperti menyediakan informasi penjualan pupuk, alsintan, informasi penanaman di tiap lahan, menjalin Kerjasama mitra, dan pasar online. Aplikasi ini dapat digunakan oleh semua orang baik untuk orang yang belum memiliki lahan maupun petani yang sudah memiliki lahan.
