Abstract

Skabies adalah penyakit kulit yang disebabkan oleh tungau Sarcoptes scabiei var hominis. Di Indonesia, skabies menduduki urutan ketiga dari 12 penyakit kulit tersering. Di antara sebelas faktor yang bisa memengaruhi prevalensi skabies di komunitas, salah satunya adalah kegagalan pengobatan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbandingan cure rate obat-obat antiskabies di Formularium Nasional, yaitu permethrin dan salep 2–4, dengan Non-Formularium Nasional seperti benzyl benzoate, ivermectin, gamma benzene hexachloride, crotamiton, dan Tinospora cordifolia. Metode penelitian ini adalah scoping review dari September 2020–Desember 2020. Pencarian sistematis melalui database elektronik PubMed, Science Direct, Springer Link, Google Scholar, dan Cochrane sesuai kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi; skrining menggunakan kriteria PICOS (Patient, Intervention, Comparison, Outcome, dan Study). Hasil pencarian adalah 15 artikel; 11 artikel menunjukkan bahwa permethrin memiliki cure rate lebih tinggi daripada benzyl benzoate, ivermectin, gamma benzene hexachloride, dan crotamiton. Dua artikel menunjukkan ivermectin memiliki cure rate lebih tinggi daripada lindane dan sulfur. Satu artikel menunjukkan terapi kombinasi sulfur lebih baik daripada terapi tunggal. Satu artikel menunjukkan bahwa Tinospora cordifolia memiliki cure rate yang tinggi. Disimpulkan bahwa permethrin sebagai salah satu obat antiskabies yang terdapat di Formularium Nasional, memiliki cure rate lebih tinggi daripada obat-obat antiskabies Non-Formularium Nasional. Scabies is the third most common skin disease in Indonesia; it is caused by Sarcoptes scabiei var hominis mite. This study aims to compare the cure rate of antiscabietic drugs in the National Formulary, namely permethrin and 2–4 ointment with the Non-National Formularies such as benzyl benzoate, ivermectin, gamma benzene hexachloride, crotamiton, and Tinospora cordifolia. The systematic search was done in September 2020–December 2020 from electronic databases i.e. PubMed, Science Direct, Springerlink, Google Scholar, and Cochrane; using the inclusion and exclusion criteria and PICOS (Patient, Intervention, Comparison, Outcome, and Study) criteria, The search resulted in 15 articles; 11 articles show that permethrin has better cure rate than benzyl benzoate, ivermectin, gamma benzene hexachloride, and crotamiton. Two articles show that Ivermectin has higher cure rate than lindane and sulfur. One article suggests sulfur combination therapy is preferable to single therapy. One article shows that Tinospora cordifolia has a high cure rate. The conclusion is that permethrin as one of antiscabietic drug in National Formulary has higher cure rate than Non-National Formulary antiscabietic drugs.

Abstract

The impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on traditional cake businesses in the study area affects the family economy. It was more difficult while the burden of basic needs that must be met was increasing. This community of traditional cake producers has the potential to be developed and can improve the welfare of people’s lives. However, most need to learn how to process healthy food and do not have business permits. The service aims to provide knowledge and assistance so that traditional cake producers are aware of safe and healthy, as well as encouraging the ownership of business permits and halal certificationso that they can improve the quality of their products and businesses. The service method is carried out in several stages, the activity stage consists of 2 stages, first stage is delivering knowledge on healthy and halal food processing by Islam Bandung (Unisba) experts and Indonesian Food and Drug Authority in collaboration with the Unisba medical faculty, which is carried out in a hybrid meeting. The second stage is assistance in the form of interactive dialogue and hands-on workshops to get to know the flow of procedures for making and managing Home Industrial Food  and Business Identification Number as well as halal certification of a product. The results is traditional cake producers seemed enthusiastic when they received knowledge and assistance regarding the importance of the quality of processed products and business permits for developing their business. Further assistance activities are needed, in terms of PIRT management and NIB ownership, as well as halal certification of processed products so that efforts to improve the quality and business development of traditional cake producers can be further realized.

Abstract

The incidence of scabies and factors of clean and healthy living behavior (PHBS) in Islamic boarding schools are still a problem. Therefore, community service activities (PKM) try an innovative approach with assistance in increasing the PHBS of students and pesantren administrators using the problem-based learning (PBL) method at the Ar Roshifah Islamic boarding school, Leuwisari sub-district, and Tasikmalaya district are expected to find a solution. In stage 1 of the PKM activity, physical examination of all of the administrators and students, most types of diseases are found, which are then used as a topic of discussion in stage 2—introducing clean and healthy living behaviors with the (PBL) method. This method uses problems as learning stimuli. There is group work for interaction (students and teachers are divided into small groups of 10-12 people) and the PKM team as tutors and facilitators. In conclusion, at the end of the activity, the students and administrators learn about scabies, starting from the etiology, risk factors, symptoms, methods of treatment, and prevention independently. They find out until they understand the roots of existing health problems and are expected to have an impact on daily life towards personal health and the environment to avoid scabies.

Abstract

AbstrakBencana alam longsor kabupaten Ciamis pada tahun 2021 mengakibatkan kerusakan asrama putra di pesantren Sabilunnajat. Berdasarkan hasil survey di pesantren Sabilunnajat, belum pernah ada pelatihan kewaspadaan terhadap bencana longsor di pesantren tersebut. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan memberikan solusi menjadikan kader santri siaga bencana, melalui pelatihan perwakilan santri sebagai kader kesehatan sesuai bimbingan BNPB dengan kolaborasi tim dokter yang tergabung dalam ikatan alumni FK Unisba. Metode yang dilakukan pada tahap awal adalah melakukan edukasi berupa sosialisasi kewaspadaan bencana alam longsor, dan perilaku hidup bersih dan sehat (PHBS) , selanjutnya pembentukan kader santri siaga bencana, serta pembentukan Pos Kesehatan Pesantren berkolaborasi dengan dokter alumni FK Unisba. Kegiatan dilakukan di Pesantren Sabilunnajat-Ciamis, bulan Juni–Agustus 2023. Hasil dari program pengabdian ini adalah didapatkan hasil secara statistik yang meningkat signifikan setelah pemberian penyuluhan, terbentuknya kader pesantren sehat, pembentukan sarana dan prasarana kamar mandi di lokasi aman longsor, berjalannya fasilitasi pelayanan kesehatan gratis melalui kerjasama dengan klinik dikelola oleh alumni Fakultas Kedokteran Unisba. Kata kunci: dokter alumni FK Unisba; kader santri; siaga bencana AbstractThe natural landslide disaster in Ciamis district in 2021 resulted in damage to the boys' dormitory at the Sabilunnajat Islamic boarding school. Based on the results of a survey at the Sabilunnajat Islamic boarding school, there has never been any landslide awareness training at the Islamic boarding school. This service activity aims to provide a solution to make students prepared for disasters through training student representatives as health cadres according to BNPB guidance with the collaboration of a team of doctors who are members of the FK Unisba alumni association. The method used in the initial stage was to provide education in the form of socializing awareness of landslide disasters, and clean and healthy living behavior (PHBS), followed by the formation of santri health cadres, as well as the establishment of Islamic boarding school health posts in collaboration with FK Unisba alumni doctors. Activities were carried out at the Sabilunnajat-Ciamis Islamic boarding school, June–August 2023. The results of this service program were that statistically significant results  increased after providing counseling, the formation of healthy Islamic boarding school cadres, the establishment of bathroom facilities and infrastructure in landslide-safe locations, and ongoing facilitation. free health services in collaboration with clinics managed by alumni of the Unisba Faculty of Medicine. Keywords: FK Unisba alumni doctors, student cadres, disaster preparedness.
