Abstract

The problem of lack of motivation and learning experience that causes a decrease in student learning outcomes. This study aims to develop augmented reality-based flashcard media to improve student learning outcomes on the topic of the water cycle in grade V SD that is valid, practical and effective. The research conducted is a development research (Research & Development) and uses the ADDIE development model. The data collection method used in this research is using questionnaire instruments and objective tests. Data on the results of media validity comes from the assessment of learning material experts and learning media experts. In this study obtained the results of the material expert assessment of 4.87 and 4.91 from the assessment of learning media experts, so that these results have very good qualifications. Data from the practicality of the media comes from the assessment of the practitioner's response and the response of 10 fifth grade students. The percentage result of the practitioner's response is 91% and the student's response is 95.2%, so that the response results can be qualified as very good.The results of the research on augmented reality-based flashcard media to improve student learning outcomes on the topic of the water cycle in grade V elementary school were declared: (1) valid based on the aspects of content, design and learning media, (2) practical based on the perspectives of practitioners and students, (3) effective to improve student learning outcomes on the topic of the fifth grade water cycle as evidenced by the results of the t-test. Based on these results, it can be concluded that flashcard media based on augmented reality is valid, practical and effective in improving student learning outcomes.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic that has lasted for two years is a dynamic condition that has an impact on all dimensions of life, including educational field. Various changes that appear in learning activities at school can not be denied has become a stressful situation that requires students to adapt quickly. Several findings have shown that there is a decrease in students' psychological well-being during the pandemic. This condition emphasizes that students need to have good psychological resilience so they are able to face difficulties and misfortunes, and be adaptive due the changes. The development of student resilience can be done through guidance and counseling services. SMART-R is a strength-based counseling model that can be implemented by counselors (BK teachers) to develop student resilience. Through the implementation of SMART-R counseling, students can have a more adaptive response in dealing with pressures and changes due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and can develop more positive feelings, thoughts, and behaviors.

Abstract

Learning problems in IPAS (Natural and Social Sciences) for fourth-grade students are still dominated by conventional teaching methods and limited interactive learning media, which negatively affect students’ learning outcomes. This study aims to develop, validate, evaluate the practicality, and examine the effectiveness of interactive multimedia based on Augmented Reality (AR) on photosynthesis material to enhance students’ learning outcomes. This research is a type of research and development (R&D) using the ADDIE model. The subjects involved were 13 fourth-grade students for the effectiveness test, 2 teachers for practicality testing, and 2 experts as validators. Data were collected through validation questionnaires, practicality questionnaires, and multiple-choice tests to measure learning outcomes. The data were analyzed using descriptive qualitative and quantitative techniques. The results showed that the AR-based interactive multimedia was declared valid by media experts (3.75) and content experts (3.80), highly practical by teachers (4.00) and students (3.88), and effective in improving learning outcomes with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05. The findings conclude that AR-based multimedia is a valid, practical, and effective innovation for enhancing students’ IPAS learning outcomes. Its implication suggests potential for broader application in digital-based elementary school learning.

Abstract

Psychological well-being enables adolescents to feel happy, have a sense of purpose, and manage emotional and social pressures effectively. However, many adolescents face stress due to academic demands, social expectations, and emotional disturbances, disrupting their psychological balance. Existing interventions often lack a holistic approach and fail to effectively integrate psychological, emotional, and spiritual aspects to enhance psychological well-being. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of transpersonal counseling as an intervention to improve adolescents' psychological well-being. The method employed was a quasi-experimental design with pre-test and post-test, involving 20 adolescents aged 15-18 years selected through purposive sampling. The results indicated that the average psychological well-being score significantly increased from 62.5 in the pre-test (low category) to 81.7 in the post-test (higher category). Statistical analysis using a related sample t-test yielded a t-value of 5.32 with a p-value < 0.05, signifying a significant difference before and after the intervention. These findings suggest that transpersonal counseling can be an effective approach to improving adolescents' psychological well-being through a holistic integration of psychological, emotional, and spiritual dimensions.

Abstract

The problem addressed in this study is the low learning motivation of students in IPAS (Science) learning, particularly on the topic of photosynthesis in Grade IV of elementary school. This study aims to: (1) produce a design of interactive learning multimedia based on Canva; (2) determine its validity; (3) test its practicality; and (4) test its effectiveness. This is a development research using the ADDIE model and employing a one-group pretest-posttest design. The instruments used were questionnaires with a rating scale, and the data were analyzed using descriptive quantitative and qualitative methods. The subject of this research was interactive learning multimedia, involving 1 teacher and 20 Grade IV elementary school students as participants. The results showed that: (1) the multimedia was successfully designed using Canva, (2) the validity test received high scores from media experts (0.944) and material experts (0.962), (3) the practicality test obtained very good scores from the teacher (99%) and students (92%), and (4) the effectiveness test showed a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05. Therefore, the developed interactive learning multimedia is considered valid, practical, and effective in increasing students' learning motivation. The implication of this research is that the media can serve as an innovative alternative in IPAS learning, especially for the topic of photosynthesis, to create a more engaging and motivating learning process.

Abstract

Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) is a mental health issues that is commonly experienced by children and adolescents as a result of traumatic events such as natural disasters, social conflicts, and violence. The high prevalence of PTSD among children and adolescents requires further intervention due to the risk of long-term psychological impacts. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of Sand Tray Therapy in reducing PTSD symptoms and improving well-being in children and adolescents. The study uses an A-B-A-B experimental design, which is a variation of the single subject design (SSD), involving five subjects who were selected through a screening process and considered as representative of a population with PTSD and low psychological well-being. The research instruments used are the Posttraumatic Stress Disorder Checklist (PCL-5) and Ryff’s Psychological Well-Being Scales (PWB). Data were analyzed using the Wilcoxon Signed-Rank Test to compare PTSD and well-being scores between phases, and Cohen's d was used to measure the effect size of changes between phases. The results of this study indicate that sand tray therapy has a clinically significant positive effect in reducing PTSD symptoms and improving psychological well-being. Thus, this method can be considered an alternative psychological intervention for children and adolescents who suffer from PTSD and require an improvement in psychological well-being.

Abstract

Purpose of the study: This study examines the effectiveness of a technology-enhanced character education model based on the Balinese Tri Hita Karana philosophy in developing primary students’ competencies aligned with SDG 4. Using blended learning, it addresses gaps in research on culturally grounded technology integration in character education. Methodology: This quasi-experimental study involved 92 fifth-grade students from four primary schools in Karangasem, Bali, comparing a Technology-Enhanced Tri Hita Karana Character Education Model with conventional instruction. Using LMS, digital portfolios, gamification, and learning analytics, competencies were assessed through questionnaires, portfolios, and observations, with data analyzed using t-tests, ANCOVA, and thematic analysis. Main Findings: The experimental group demonstrated significantly higher graduate competency scores (M=81.89, SD=9.78) compared to the control group (M=70.02, SD=10.02), t(90)=5.98, p<.001, Cohen's d=1.25, indicating a large effect size. Analysis of digital portfolio data revealed enhanced self-regulated learning behaviors and deeper engagement with character development activities. Qualitative analysis showed that students appreciated the gamification elements and found the LMS-mediated learning more engaging and meaningful. Learning analytics data indicated consistent progress tracking and timely teacher interventions. Novelty/Originality of this study: The technology-enhanced Tri Hita Karana character education model effectively develops primary students’ competencies through culturally grounded digital pedagogy. This study strengthens evidence on technology-mediated character education and shows how local wisdom supports global educational goals. It highlights the need for teacher professional development and policy support to implement culturally responsive, technology-enhanced, and sustainable blended learning in primary education.

Abstract

Pembelajaran IPAS pada materi kegiatan ekonomi di sekolah dasar perlu dikaitkan dengan konteks nyata yang dekat dengan kehidupan siswa agar mampu menumbuhkan sikap tanggung jawab. Namun, pembelajaran yang masih bersifat konvensional menyebabkan keterlibatan siswa kurang optimal sehingga sikap tanggung jawab belum berkembang secara maksimal. Permasalahan tersebut mendasari di kembangkannya Modul Ajar Enterpreneur Berbasis Komoditas Lokal pada materi Kegiatan Ekonomi kelas V sekolah dasar yang valid, praktis dan efektif meningkatkan sikap tanggung jawab siswa melalui kegiatan berwirausaha. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui pengaruh modul ajar enterpreneur terhadap sikap tanggung jawab siswa pada materi kegiatan ekonomi. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan ekperimen. populasi penelitian ini adalah Seluruh siswa gugus VII Sinabun. Sampel Penelitian yang digunakan 33 siswa di SD N 2 Sinabun Objek penelitiannya adalah Modul Ajar Enterpreneur Berbasis Komoditas Lokal Kerajinan Anyaman Bambu. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah metode non tes dan instrumen penilaian produk. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik analisis data deskriptif kuantitatif dan deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Modul Ajar Enterpreneur Berbasis Komoditas Lokal Kerajinan Anyaman Bambu Pada Materi Kegiatan Ekonomi berpengaruh terhadap Sikap Tanggung Siswa Kelas V.

Abstract

Mutu pendidikan sangat ditentukan oleh kualitas guru, termasuk kemampuannya dalam mengelola kelas secara kreatif dan inovatif. Namun, hasil Asesmen Nasional Berbasis Komputer (ANBK) tahun 2025 menunjukkan bahwa sekolah-sekolah Muhammadiyah di bawah Forum Guru Muhammadiyah (FGM) Kabupaten Buleleng masih berada pada kategori sedang hingga rendah, sehingga diperlukan intervensi untuk meningkatkan kapasitas guru. Program pengabdian ini menggunakan metode pelatihan dan pendampingan berkelanjutan yang dilaksanakan dalam dua tahap pelatihan, yaitu penguatan strategi manajemen kelas berbasis pendekatan aktif-kolaboratif serta penggunaan media dan metode pembelajaran inovatif, serta tiga kali pendampingan terstruktur berupa mentoring, penilaian dampak, serta evaluasi dan tindak lanjut. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan terhadap pemahaman dan keterampilan guru dalam mengelola kelas, yang ditandai dengan perubahan praktik pembelajaran yang lebih partisipatif, penggunaan media digital sederhana, serta peningkatan motivasi siswa dalam proses belajar. Diskusi hasil menegaskan bahwa keberlanjutan program melalui peer group guru dan dukungan kelembagaan FGM memperkuat dampak pelatihan sehingga tidak berhenti pada ranah teoritis, melainkan terimplementasi di kelas. Kesimpulannya, model pelatihan dan pendampingan berbasis komunitas profesi ini efektif dalam meningkatkan profesionalisme guru Muhammadiyah di Kabupaten Buleleng dan berpotensi direplikasi pada konteks sekolah serupa untuk memperkuat kualitas pembelajaran.

Abstract

Happiness is a condition where individuals tend to remember positive experiences rather than negative ones. Happiness can also be defined as a positive emotion that fuels enthusiasm and gives meaning to every individual's actions. According to the local value of Tri Hita Karana, happiness is a harmonious relationship between humans and God (Parahyangan), between humans and others (Pawongan), and between humans and the environment (Palemahan). This study addresses the low happiness of adolescent victims of divorce, which often causes emotional trauma, depression, and difficulties in social adaptation. The impacts of parental divorce include loss of affection, mental stress, and environmental changes, with triggering factors such as economics, conflict, and infidelity. This study tested the effectiveness of Cognitive Behavior counseling using the Reframing technique to increase the happiness of adolescents at the Dana Punia Orphanage, Singaraja. This intervention changed negative thought patterns into positive perspectives through stages such as identifying perceptions, reframing, and follow-up. The hypothesis stated that the intervention was effective in increasing happiness indicators such as spiritual calm and harmonious relationships. This study used a quasi-experimental design with a Pretest-Posttest control group experimental research design with 10 samples of adolescents aged 15-21 years (5 experimental groups, 5 control groups). The intervention consisted of six sessions, measured using a Tri Hita Karana-based happiness questionnaire. Reframing techniques included rational strategies, perception modification, and homework for habituation. Cognitive Behavior Counseling with Reframing integrated with local Tri Hita Karana values effectively restored happiness through cognitive and behavioral changes. This research differs from previous studies by focusing on specific intervention experiments in the Balinese context. ABSTRAKKebahagiaan adalah kondisi individu yang cenderung mengingat pengalaman positif dibandingkan dengan pengalaman negatif. Kebahagiaan juga dapat diartikan sebagai emosi positif yang memicu semangat dan memberikan makna dalam setiap tindakan individu. Menurut nilai lokal Tri Hita Karana, kebahagiaan merupakan keharmonisan hubungan antara manusia dengan Tuhan (Parahyangan), hubungan antara manusia dengan sesama (Pawongan), dan hubungan antara manusia dengan lingkungan (Palemahan). Penelitian ini mengatasi rendahnya kebahagiaan remaja korban perceraian, yang sering menyebabkan trauma emosional, depresi, dan kesulitan adaptasi sosial. Dampak perceraian orang tua termasuk kehilangan kasih sayang, tekanan mental, dan perubahan lingkungan, dengan faktor pemicu seperti ekonomi, konflik, dan perselingkuhan. Menguji efektivitas konseling Cognitive Behavior teknik Reframing untuk meningkatkan kebahagiaan remaja di Panti Asuhan Dana Punia, Singaraja. Intervensi ini mengubah pola pikir negatif menjadi perspektif positif melalui tahapan seperti identifikasi persepsi, reframing, dan tindak lanjut. Hipotesis menyatakan intervensi tersebut efektif dalam meningkatkan indikator kebahagiaan seperti ketenangan spiritual dan hubungan harmonis. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain quasi-eksperimen dengan design penelitian eksperimen Pretest-Posttest control group dengan 10 sampel remaja usia 15-21 tahun (5 kelompok eksperimen, 5 kontrol). Intervensi dilakukan 6 sesi, diukur dengan kuesioner kebahagiaan berbasis Tri Hita Karana. Teknik Reframing meliputi rasional strategi, modifikasi persepsi, dan homework untuk pembiasaan. Konseling Cognitive Behavior dengan Reframing diintegrasikan dengan nilai lokal Tri Hita Karana efektif memulihkan kebahagiaan melalui perubahan kognitif dan perilaku. Penelitian ini membedakan diri dari studi sebelumnya dengan fokus eksperimen intervensi spesifik pada konteks Bali.
