Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the talent management system in the context of retaining millennial generation employees. Using a qualitative research method with a literature study approach, this study explores the characteristics and expectations of millennial employees, the factors that affect the effectiveness of talent management, and the challenges in its implementation. The results of the study show that the success of talent management for the millennial generation is greatly influenced by the integration of digital technology, personalization of development programs, and work flexibility. Organizational and leadership support, along with a culture that supports innovation and collaboration, are critical factors in increasing engagement and talent retention. Abstract

This study analyzes the determinants of employee performance through an investigation of the influence of work life balance, work family conflict, and work motivation in contemporary organizational contexts. A quantitative approach with a descriptive-verifiable design was applied to 100 permanent employee respondents who were selected using purposive sampling techniques. The research instrument in the form of a structured questionnaire with a five-point Likert scale has passed an adequate validity and reliability test. Data analysis used multiple linear regression techniques with the help of SPSS to test the research hypothesis. The results of the analysis showed that work motivation had a significant positive effect on employee performance (β=0.629; p<0.001), while work life balance showed a positive but insignificant effect (β=0.198; p=0.056), and work family conflict showed a negative influence that was not significant (β=-0.012; p=0.888). Simultaneously, the three independent variables explained 55.7% of the variance in employee performance (Adjusted R²=0.557). The findings confirm the dominance of motivational factors in shaping optimal employee performance. The practical implications emphasize the need for organizations to develop strategies to increase work motivation through a comprehensive reward system and the creation of a conducive work environment to support the achievement of sustainable performance.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the impact of leadership style, work-life balance, and job satisfaction on employee engagement in Perumda Tirta Kanjuruhan, Malang Regency. Utilizing a quantitative research approach, data were gathered through surveys distributed to employees of Perumda Tirta Kanjuruhan. The sample size was determined using the Slovin formula with a confidence level of 95%. Analysis was conducted employing multiple linear regression. Findings revealed significant effects of leadership style, work-life balance, and job satisfaction on employee engagement in Perumda Tirta Kanjuruhan, Malang Regency. Of the three independent variables, one variable, namely leadership style, had a positive but non-significant impact. This occurs due to several possible reasons. Firstly, the sample size might not have been large enough to detect a significant effect of leadership style on employee engagement. Additionally, the specific leadership styles observed within the organization may not have varied significantly, leading to limited variability in the data. Moreover, other unaccounted-for factors, such as organizational culture or external influences, could have overshadowed the impact of leadership style on employee engagement. Finally, measurement limitations or inaccuracies in assessing leadership style may have contributed to the non-significant findings.

Abstract

This study examines the effectiveness of reward management strategies in increasing the loyalty of MSME employees in the digital era. Using a quantitative approach with a sample of 10 MSMEs in Indonesia for the 2020-2024 period, the study analyzed the relationship between the reward management component and employee loyalty, with the level of digitalization as the moderator variable. The results of hierarchical multiple regression analysis showed a significant positive relationship between all components of reward management and employee loyalty, with financial compensation (r = 0.68) and recognition system (r = 0.62) as the strongest predictors. The level of digitalization has been shown to significantly moderate the relationship, with highly digitized MSMEs showing an average increase in employee loyalty of 12.5% per year. Variations in effectiveness were found based on the characteristics of MSMEs, where the service sector showed higher elasticity towards the implementation of the digital reward system. This research contributes to the development of an adaptive reward management framework for MSMEs in the digital era, as well as providing practical implications for optimizing employee retention strategies in the MSME sector.

Abstract

Digital transformation has changed the way modern organizations measure their success, but traditional performance measurement models have not fully adapted to the needs of the digital age. This study conducted a systematic literature review of 25 high-quality publications from the Scopus, Web of Science, and Emerald Insight databases to identify models and indicators of organizational performance measurement in the digital era. Using the PRISMA 2020 framework and strict inclusion-exclusion protocols, this study analyzes research from the period 2021-2025 with a focus on the integration of the digital dimension in the performance measurement framework. Key findings identify 13 categories of key indicators that consistently appear in the literature, including financial performance, operational efficiency, innovation performance, digital transformation readiness, customer experience, and employee digital capability. The analysis of influence mechanisms found three ways in which digital transformation affects performance: direct effects, mediating effects through dynamic capability and organizational agility, and moderation effects from contextual and organizational cultural factors. The research proposes a three-level integrative framework (strategic, operational, and individual-cultural) that can be differentially adapted according to the size of the organization and the industry sector. The theoretical contribution of this research enriches the academic literature with a systematic synthesis of digital performance measurement, while practical contribution provides evidence-based guidance for organizations in designing a comprehensive performance measurement system that is responsive to the evolving dynamics of digital transformation.
