Abstract

The aim of this research is to assess the learning program on TKIU Al Khoir Surakarta for academic year 2010-2011. The problem is how the Montessory learning method implemented at TKIU Al Khoir. The research methodology used is a qualitative approach in the form of the naturalistic and a purposive sampling. The data sources in this research include information about the program of instruction in kindergarten the flagship. The Data in the form of words were taken from three sources: events, informants and documents. Data collection techniques used in research are observations, interviews and document analysis. Results of investigation showed TKIU Al Khoir well using integrated curriculum including approaches such as a thematic approach, there is engineering a learning environment, learning objectives focussing on moral development, reading a written/material goods, the role of students as a learning object, a gaming device is limited, a library with classrooms, and a new limited role parents financially.

Abstract

The theory of early childhood education aims to expose and research the complexities of child education. The goal of the study was to define the philosophy of the Language Development Program based on the 2013 Early Childhood Education Curriculum. Data collection techniques in this study used direct observation and recording methods in the Lesson Plan in Language development program based on 2013 ECE curriculum, based on predetermined categories. Data sources in this study were all information written in the children's language development program which was prepared in accordance with the 2013 curriculum. The data will be analyzed by Qualitative content analysis. The finding led to the discovery of the philosophical foundation of children language development program which are dominated by Progresivism.

Abstract

Dalam menstimulasi kemampuan menulis anak diperlukan pendekatan yang variatif dan menarik bagi anak. Salah satu pendekatannya yaitu melalui Project Approach, dengan Project Approach anak akan diperkenalkan dengan 5W+1H dan tanda tanya (?) untuk membuat suatu pertanyaan yang merupakan sesuatu hal yang baru bagi anak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh Project Approach terhadap kemampuan menulis anak kelompok B di PAUD Alam Islam Rumah Cerdas Sukoharjo Tahun Ajaran 2017/2018. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kuantitatif eksperimen, dengan menggunakan desain Pre experimental dengan bentuk One Group Pre test – Post test design. Subyek yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini seluruh anak kelompok B di PAUD Alam Islam Rumah Cerdas Sukoharjo yang berjumlah 21 anak. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan kecerdasan linguistik anak TK A dengan menggunakan media styrofoam chart di PAUD Alam Islam Rumah Cerdas di Sukoharjo tahun ajaran 2017/2018. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah anak didik TK A PAUD Alam Islam Rumah Cerdas tahun ajaran 2017/2018. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dua siklus dalam empat kali pertemuan. Prosedur penelitian ini ada empat tahap yaitu perencanaan tindakan, pelaksanaan tindakan, pengamatan atau observasi , dan analisis dan refleksi. Data tingkat kecerdasan linguistik anak dan data proses belajar mengajar dengan media styrofoam chart dikumpulkan melalui metode observasi, dan dokumentasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan cara triangulasi dengan mencari data dari berbagai sumber data. Berdasarkan hasil tindakan siklus I, dan II yang telah dilaksanakan, menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kecerdasan linguistik anak TK A. Sebelum pelaksanaan siklus diperoleh hasil anak yang mencapai berkembang sesuai harapan (BSH) ke atas, sebesar 40,90%, siklus I mencapai 63,63%, dan siklus II mencapai 86,36%. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini bahwa melalui media styrofoam chart dapat meningkatkan kecerdasan linguistik anak TK A di PAUD Alam Islam Rumah Cerdas tahun ajaran 2017/2018.

Abstract

In Early childhood education, play is considered as the heart of instruction and learning prepare. Play moreover critical in obtaining children language and literacy ability, person with higher level of proficiency have higher opportunity in their life success. This is a qualitative research study analysing teacher's conceptualization of play in the literacy teaching and learning process. An interpretative and descriptive qualitative research is the design of this study. A qualitative study was undertaken because this technique allows researchers with ways and means considering different views of the research subject therefore producing rich, in-depth and elaborate data. This, small research has been conducted in Indonesian settings on the utilize of play in educating proficiency in early childhood instruction classrooms. Information was obtained through one-on-one, one-hour in-depth interviews from a few teachers in five early childhood education institutions. Examination of the information uncovered those early education teachers agree on utilizing play as an instrument in educating literacy concepts

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui keefektifan penggunaan media poster bergambar dalam peningkatan kemampuan membaca anak usia 5-6 tahun. Penelitian dilaksanakan di TK Putri Serang pada tahun 2022, dengan populasi penelitian adalah seluruh siswa TK Putri Serang, sedangkan sampel penelitian adalah 30 siswa kelas TK B. Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu dokumentasi, observasi. Instrumen obseryang digunakan adalah tes kemampuan membaca anak usia dini dengan indikator yang meliputi: 1) mandiri dalam membaca, 2) membaca kata sederhana, 3) memahami bacaan, 4) mengucapkan huruf vokal dan konsonan. Penelitian ini menggunakan uji prasyarat yaitu uji normalitas dan uji homogenitas, dengan uji hipotesis menggunakan uji t. Hasil uji hipotesis menunjukan bahwa thitung ttabel yaitu 2,780 1,701 maka diperoleh kesimpulan media poster efektif digunakan dalam penignkatan kemampuan membaca anak usia 5-6 tahun. Penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa penggunaan poster sebagai media untuk merangsang kemampuan berbicara anak efektif.

Abstract

Creativity is one of the 21st-century skills that young children must possess; creativity can be demonstrated through the child's ability to express the thoughts and ideas in their minds and positively impact their future. The level of creativity in children can be influenced by several factors, one of which is parents' parenting style. This research aims to analyze the influence of parenting styles on early childhood creativity. This research is classified as a quantitative type of research, with a population of 56. The research was conducted using probabilistic techniques with proportional stratified random sampling. The final sample size in this study was 36 children. Data collection in this research was carried out using observation, documentation, and questionnaire distribution methods, with the research instrument as a closed questionnaire with a Likert scale. The data obtained in the research was then analyzed using the t-test analysis technique. The results of the data analysis show that authoritarian parenting harms children's creativity. In other words, the higher the parenting style, the less creative the child is.On the other hand, democratic parenting has a positive effect. It means the higher the parenting style, the more creative the child will be. So, there is an influence of parental parenting on children's creativity.
