Abstract

Gas Production Generated from Crude Oil Biodegradation: Preliminary Study on its Aplication in Microbial Enhanced Oil Recovery (MEOR). The objective of this study is to observe the capacity of gas production generated from crude oil degradation by the isolated bacteria. The gas in the MEOR could increase pressure in the reservoir, decrease oil viscosity, increase oil permeability-due to the increase of the porosity and viscosity, and also increase oil volume due to the amount of dissolved gas. A research on gas analysis of oil degradation by 6 isolated bacteria has been conducted. The bacteria isolates including Bacillus badius (A), Bacillus circulans (B), Bacillus coagulans (C), Bacillus firmus (D), Pasteurella avium (E) and Streptobacillus moniliformis (F). The trial on gas production, gas analysis and oil degradation analysis, was carried out by using SMSS medium. The test of gas production was done by using microrespirometer at 40°C. The result shows that B, C, D, E produce more gas than A and F. Gas of CO2, O2, CO, N2, CH4, and H2 were analyzed by using GC. The results show that only three gases were detected by GC i.e. CO2, N2, and O2. The concentration of CO2 and N2 gas increased while the concentration of O2 decreased over an 8th day of observation. CO2 gas producted by mix culture was higher than by the pure culture. On the 8th day of incubation, the production of CO2 gas by mix culture was 4,0452% while pure culture C and D only produced 2,4543% and 2,8729%. The mix culture increase simple hydrocarbon by 12.03% and the formation of a complex hydrocarbon by 3.07%. The mix culture (C-D) generated the highest concentration of CO2 gas as well as a synergistic concortium that has ability to degrade crude oil.

Abstract

Supervision is carried out as an effort by people in authority in the world of education to supervise everything done by people related to the world of education, be it teachers, students, and so on. This paper aims to discuss the effectiveness of the implementation of supervision, with the method used is a literature review or literature study that contains theories relevant to the problems to be discussed, and the study describes the concepts and theories used based on the available literature, from books and articles that have been published in scientific journals. Supervision is carried out to find out what happens in an educational institution, such as if there is an inequality or problem in an educational institution, and the best way will be found to overcome the problem. This is an example of one of the importance of supervision. The effectiveness of the implementation of supervision will be carried out if it has gone through the planning stage, which, of course, has been mutually agreed upon by the people in charge in the world of education, so supervision is carried out in a directed and measurable manner by the agreed provisions to achieve the goals that have been expected together.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effects of integrated marketing communication, brand image, and experiential marketing on the satisfaction of Sharia Bank customers. The research used a survey method to collect data from 92 customers. The results indicate that the influence of integrated marketing communication, brand image, and experiential marketing is important for customer satisfaction. These findings illustrate that integrated marketing communication, brand image, and experiential marketing enhance customer satisfaction. The results have important implications, particularly for marketing strategies and customer management practices. Public interest statements This research is highly relevant for all banks as it highlights the influence of integrated marketing communication, brand image, and experiential marketing on customer satisfaction. Understanding these factors can help banks enhance their marketing strategies and improve customer experiences, ultimately increasing customer satisfaction and loyalty. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengukur dampak model flipped classroom terhadap hasil belajar Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial (IPS) siswa kelas VI di era digital. Desain kuasi-eksperimen dengan kelompok kontrol nonekuivalen digunakan untuk membandingkan dua kelas: satu kelas menggunakan strategi flipped classroom (kelompok eksperimen) dan satu kelas dengan metode tradisional (kelompok kontrol). Data kuantitatif dikumpulkan melalui pretes dan postes, kemudian dianalisis dengan uji-t sampel independen. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan (p < 0,05) pada kelompok eksperimen dengan rata-rata kenaikan nilai 16,5 poin, dibandingkan 7,8 poin di kelompok kontrol. Pendekatan flipped classroom memperkuat keterlibatan siswa, berpikir kritis, dan pemahaman materi IPS melalui kombinasi pembelajaran mandiri berbasis digital (misalnya video instruksional) dan aktivitas interaktif di kelas. Tantangan meliputi keterbatasan akses teknologi dan pelatihan guru. Temuan ini membuktikan flipped classroom sebagai alternatif efektif untuk pembelajaran tradisional, khususnya bagi generasi digital native.

Abstract

This study analyzes the implementation of the daycare program at the International Preschool Cipta Kreatif Bangsa (CKB) Palembang. Using a qualitative phenomenological approach, the study was conducted from April to October 2024 with data collection techniques in the form of non-participant observation, structured interviews, and documentation. The results of the study show that the daycare program at CKB Palembang has been structured with various educational activities such as Happy Song and Education Game, Fun Cooking, and Life Basic Skills. The main challenges faced are the limited number of daycare teachers (only one person) who handles 15-20 children aged 2-6 years, and the absence of a formal evaluation system for each child. Supporting factors include opportunities for child socialization, skill development, and convenience for working parents, while inhibiting factors include health risks and limited individual attention. This program has integrated Islamic educational values ​​into daily activities to develop children's independence, responsibility, and discipline

Abstract

This article discusses market segmentation with several segmentation approaches, namely demographic segmentation, geographic segmentation, psychographic segmentation, psychological segmentation, and benefits segmentation to target outstanding students from various regions. In relation to education, services can be defined as the activities of educational institutions providing services or delivering educational services to consumers in a way that satisfies them. Marketing in the context of educational services is a social and managerial process to obtain what is needed and desired through creating offers, exchanging valuable products with other parties in the educational sector. This paper uses qualitative research methods. Where the preparation produces data in the form of descriptions. The data collection technique used by the author is using literature study or library research. The data collection method can be done by researching books, journals or websites which are definitely related to the material to be discussed.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan dan menguji kelayakan serta efektivitas e-book mitigasi bencana gempa bumi sebagai media pembelajaran geografi di tingkat SMA. Hasil validasi dari ahli media, ahli materi, serta validator instrumen menunjukkan bahwa e-book tersebut sangat layak digunakan, dengan skor kelayakan masing-masing sebesar 90%, 93,33%, dan 91,67%. E-book ini dirancang dengan penyajian visual yang menarik, navigasi yang mudah, serta konten yang sistematis dan komunikatif, yang mendorong aktivitas reflektif dan berpikir kritis siswa. Hasil analisis kuantitatif menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan e-book secara signifikan meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik, dengan rata-rata peningkatan nilai sebesar 6,84 poin dan perbedaan yang signifikan antara kelompok eksperimen dan kontrol. E-book ini juga efektif dalam mengakomodasi indikator kemampuan berpikir kritis, seperti analisis peta bencana, evaluasi kesiapsiagaan, dan perancangan solusi mitigasi. Oleh karena itu, e-book mitigasi bencana gempa bumi terbukti sebagai media pembelajaran yang relevan untuk mendukung pembelajaran abad ke-21. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan pemanfaatan e-book oleh guru, pengembangan lebih lanjut oleh desainer media pembelajaran, serta dukungan infrastruktur digital dari sekolah dan institusi pendidikan.

Abstract

Background:  Pneumonia causes more deaths in children under five than AIDS, malaria and measles combined. If toddlers is not handled and cared for properly, pneumonia can recur or be called recurrent pneumonia. Based on initial data collection for the last 3 months, the number of cases of recurrent pneumonia in toddlers in the Bahteramas Hospital Poly room in 2022 was 36 cases.  Purpose:  This study was to determine whether there is a relationship between the knowledge of mothers under five and the behavior of preventing recurrent pneumonia at Bahteramas General Hospital, Southeast Sulawesi Province.  Methods:  research used is quantitative research. The design used in this study is a correlational analytic study using a cross sectional study approach. The total population in this study was 36 respondents with a total sample of 33 respondents. Results:  The results of statistical tests using the chi-square test obtained a p value of 0.000 which is less than α (0.05) meaning that there is a relationship between knowledge and behavior to prevent recurrent pneumonia. Conclusion:  This study found a significant relationship between the knowledge of mothers with toddlers and the behavior of preventing recurrent pneumonia at Bahteramas General Hospital, Southeast Sulawesi Province. Education for mothers with toddlers is essential to enhance efforts to prevent recurrent pneumonia in their children.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan mantra pengobatan pada masyarakat Melayu Sambas di Desa Lorong: kajian strukturalisme. Submasalah dalam penelitian ini meliputi pendeskripsian struktur pembangun mantra, pendeskripsian fungsi mantra, dan hasil penelitian terhadap rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia di sekolah. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah hasil rekaman mantra dalam bahasa Melayu Sambas di Desa Lorong. Alat pengumpul data dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik wawancara dan perekaman. Teknik yang digunakan dalam menganalisis data yakni tahap persiapan dan tahap analisis data. Teknik pengecekan keabsahan data yang digunakan meliputi ketekunan pembaca, kecukupan referensi, dan triangulasi. Berdasarkan analisis data dan pembahasan, dapat disimpulkan bahwa mantra pengobatan pada masyarakat Melayu Sambas di Desa Lorong: kajian strukturalisme terdapat lima unsur pembangun struktur mantra, yaitu unsur judul, unsur pembuka, unsur sugesti, unsur tujuan, dan unsur penutup, serta fungsi mantra pengobatan yang berbeda-beda. Selanjutnya, penelitian ini dapat diimplementasikan pada kelas VII semester genap, dengan kompetensi dasar (KD) 1, yaitu menelaah struktur dan kebahasaan puisi rakyat (pantun, syair, dan bentuk puisi rakyat setempat) yang dibaca dan didengar, dan KD 2, yaitu mengungkapkan gagasan, perasaan, pesan dalam bentuk puisi rakyat secara lisan dan tulisan dengan memperhatikan struktur, rima, dan penggunaan bahasa.
