Abstract

The Child-Friendly Village Program (DRA) in Lamongan Regency is a continuation of both the Child-Friendly Regency program and the Habitat Agenda II, specifically the Child-Friendly City initiative. Although Lamongan Regency lacks a designated DRA village, several villages have demonstrated commitment and progress in meeting the DRA indicators. In line with the priority program, namely tourist villages, DRA needs to be studied as a thematic tourism village because it has specific tourist attractions and attractions for children. This research aims to determine potential villages for thematic tourism based on Child-Friendly Villages. This study uses a case study method. We collected data through in-depth interviews and observation techniques. The data analysis employs a weighting technique (scoring) to evaluate tourism potential and DRA implementation. This technique involves assigning a score of 86-100 for very good, 71-85 for good, 56-70 for quite good, and less than 55 for not good. The results of the study show that the potential village with the highest value is Kendal Sekaran Village. This research provides practical recommendations for local governments in the development of child-friendly thematic tourism villages, as well as being a reference for other villages in meeting the Child-Friendly Village indicators.

Abstract

This study aims to conduct experimental testing to obtain empirical values of the dynamic elastic moduli (MoEd) of wood, and to study its correlation with the static elastic moduli (MoE). The research method used is a quantitative method to obtain the parameters of progagation time and velocity data, by using a non-destructive test method on the structural components of columns and beams in existing buildings. The scope of the study is the dynamic elastic moduli data obtained from the results of previous studies, namely non-destructive testing on two existing wooden house buildings located in Sleman Regency, Special Region of Yogyakarta Province, Indonesia. The wood used is Teak wood species (Tectona grandis). The results of the study indicate that the MoEd of Teak wood (Tectona grandis) is obtained at 32891.34 MPa and MoE is 20007.17 MPa, with a ratio of MoE/MoEd of 0.608. The results of the study indicate that the wood in existing buildings is included in the category of strength class 1 with a quality code of E20 referring to SNI 7973.

Abstract

Open Spaces are part of urban areas that significantly influence the quality of the city's environment. Open Spaces are part of urban open spaces filled with endemic and introduced plants and vegetation to support ecological, socio-cultural, and architectural benefits, as well as provide economic benefits to the community. Open Spaces are public areas, often in the form of parks, designed to serve residents. These spaces can take the form of green fields equipped with recreational and sports facilities, as well as sports complexes featuring 80% to 90% green areas. All of these facilities are public. This Community Service project utilizes a design concept that combines vegetation layout with perennial trees, shrubs, and bushes planted in groups or scattered throughout the area. Vegetation functions to create a microclimate and acts as a boundary between activities. In addition to the vegetation concept, it also encompasses the arrangement of recreational and sports facilities such as fields, playgrounds, restrooms, seating, and lighting.

It has a unique morphology of the city area to research. The purpose of this study is to identify the development of the Kupang Old City area over several periods and analyze any changes and comparisons related to the morphology of the Kupang Old City area. Exploratory, descriptive research with tissue analysis method is used in this study to read the history that occurred in Kupang old city area from the early period formed the 15th-century area until the 21st century.Furthermore, the historical reading method wasused to find changes and morphological comparisons of the Kupang Old City area from the 15th to the 21st century and explain how Kupang old city spaces began to grow and develop. This research concluded that the Kupang old city area began to develop because it has the foremost generator that is the entry of King Helong's power to make Kupang Old City a city on Timor Island.
